From USA Today bestselling author Amanda Siegrist comes a series full of humor, angst, a sassy heroine, and a sexy, sinful hero that will sweep you off your feet.
The Pretend to be her fake fiancé to placate her overbearing, selfish mother. Five days.
Brick likes things carefree and simple, especially after the falling out with his brother. The moment Jezebelle walks into his bar looking sad and troubled, he's determined to do anything to turn her frown upside down. Even if that requires posing as her fake fiancé to get her bossy mother off her back. Pretending to love her will be the easy part--because he does. Walking away will be futile. But he doesn't see a way he can keep Jezebelle for real, not when her mother's diabolical ways prove she can make his life more than just complicated, but downright impossible.
Jezebelle can't believe her luck when Brick hatches this crazy plan. One, because she's always had a secret crush on him, and any reason to get closer to him makes her heart stutter with anticipation. Two, because it might actually work to keep her mother at bay. Of course, her mother isn't a woman who takes no for an answer. She'll do everything in her power to get her way. The last thing she wants is for Brick to get hurt. The best thing she can do is walk away and forget he ever held her heart. If only it were that easy.
This is not a full romcom. While it has moments of humor, it also has a twist of angst. Okay, now you can dive in, you're prepared!
The entire Perfect For You (Each book can be read as a standalone.) The Wrong Brother (Book 1): Dane & Gabriella The Right Time (Book 2): Jaxson & Mia The Easy Part (Book 3): Brick & Jezebelle The Hard Choice (Book 4): Corey & Genevieve

There is nothing Easy in Amanda Siegrist’s romance novels, so buckle up and let’s go…. The Easy Part (Perfect for You, #3)
Amazon / Goodreads
MY REVIEW
Nothing is easy in Amanda Siegrist’s romance novels. They are filled with angst, miscommunication, doubt….and LOVE. Though the books may be part of a series, they can stand alone.
I have been reading some intense, dark, deadly, and dangerous novels, so a happy ever after story from Amanda Siegrist will be a wonderful change of place. Some recurring characters in the Perfect For You series add a little bit of spice, but The Easy Part is Jezebelle and Brick’s story.
They have known each other for some time, but when Jezebelle’s mother comes to town, determined to take her back home with her, she and Brick come up with The Agreement…he will be a fake fiance for five days. Yeah, sure, they can try and fool themselves, but I know what’s coming…and maybe you do too.
He had the look of a bad boy, a bartender with tattoos. I think we can agree that mommy isn’t going to like that at all. Not when she has a hoity toity rich boy she wants her to marry. People may tend to underestimate Brick because of his looks, but he has a surprise in store for them, specifically for Bradley and Jezebelle’s mom.
Sure, she is hurting for money and her acting career is hit and miss, but she loves New York City. Staying with Brick, to back up their Agreement, gives her some breathing space…and she will need it. Brick is going all out to win her over and make their little game a fact. He wants her…permanently.
We don’t hear guns blazing and find dead bodies everywhere, but we do have a black eye or two. No vampires or werewolves, but we do have a wicked mother…in law. Smiles and tears, love and laughter, and family. That’s what makes the world go round.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of The Easy Part by Amanda Siegrist.
Brick and Jezabelle found an instant attraction, though they have quietly danced around the other while in the company of mutual friends who frequent Brick’s bar. When he sees his chance with her slipping away, Brick suggests posing as Jezabelle’s fiancé to help her out with a mother who isn’t against using underhanded tactics to get her way. They begin to realize that love at first sight is real and that a relationship between them can be that easy.
The most surprising and enjoyable part of this story is that Brick understands the whole reason he initially agreed to fake a relationship with Jezabelle. Despite any miscommunications, Brick doesn’t jump to conclusions. And while her mother tries to undermine him, he has confidence in who is that allows Jezabelle to stand up for herself instead of becoming weighed down by jealousy.
The Easy Part was a fun story that you can fall in love with! It was a story that I was lost into and I did not want it to end!! Brick and Jezebelle are the main characters and you know they need to be together. But life has other plans for these two. So in the meantime, its the fake fiance game.
The "mother in law" is a force to be reckon and Jezebelle only finds the way to be able to stay in town and those include Brick. There were a lot of high and lows. They made my emotions all over the place.
The Easy Part is a story that will have you stick to every since word that is flowing!! I could was a little sad when the story had to end, but it was a great ending. I loved it all!
I loved The Easy Part! Jezabelle was such a strong woman, and sassy at times. Brick was strong and protective. He's had feelings for Jezabelle for a long time, but has never acted on them. When Jezabelle needs help getting her mother off her back, Brick suggests an easy solution: pretend to be engaged to him. Jezabelle accepts but is skeptical about it working. She knows how ruthless her mother can be. Brick is sure they can pull it off. The easy part is the pretending, but the hard part will be convincing Jezabelle how perfect they are for each other. I enjoyed this book in the series even more than the previous two. I can't wait for the next one!

The Easy Part is the third book in Perfect For You series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but if you are like I am, you definitely will want to start from the beginning enjoying the stories, getting to know characters and falling for them. Wow this was the sweetest book: quick, sexy, angsty and fast paced. I enjoyed immensely every single page of it, and never wanted it to end. It was well developed, well written, eloquent and thought out; very enjoyable and entertaining with amazing characters. It kept my attention at all times and I could not put it down. It is an emotional story that will hit you straight in the feels and yet ticks all the boxes. The characters are complex, the plot is strong and some of the storyline unpredictable. Loved the flow of this book and that the characters were so real, brilliant and likeable. It was an easy read with so much heart, humor, laughs and touching/tender moments.
★A gorgeous but slightly displeased, vulnerable, hard- working, sinful hero with a heart of gold, a patience of the saint and a jaded past ★A strong, vulnerable, takeout-loving, sassy, jaded heroine with a weight of a world on her shoulders and overbearing, selfish mother ★A bar owner & an actress on the rise ★Rom-com with humor and a twist of angst ★Fake engagement ★Intense ★Passionate ★Angsty ★All consuming ★Heartfelt ★Enough emotional baggage to fill a room ★Riveting / Engaging ★Fun cast of supporting characters ★One beautiful love story
Brick and Jezebelle are epic, sweet and swoon worthy. They are such a great characters and so amazing together. I really loved how their relationship developed. They both have insecurities and their timing is a bit off but when they are together everything just makes sense, they are just perfect for each other and exactly what they need. Their chemistry is off the charts and connection just beautiful. I love their moments and dialogues, their easy going manner, flirty banter and sassiness. They are just drawn to each other which became impossible for them to deny. What I loved about Brick and Jezebelle is that they are both flawed and complex characters. From the moment they met there is an undeniable attraction and sparks fly whenever they are near each other or together, even though they were reluctant to start a relationship. So, this fake engagement finally gave Brick a reason and an opportunity to change her view of love and convince her they are worth giving a chance. There is something about their connection that feels real and honest. Both have an emotional past and baggage. He was so patient with her, gentle, supportive and understanding. I loved how they blossomed and thrived even though life had thrown the quite a few obstacles. I wanted to stay in their world forever. These two made me smile, laugh, swoon, cry and experience a lot of feelings along the way. Their love story is not perfect and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Secondary characters have stolen my heart with how intriguing, engaging, funny and incredible they are. I love their friendship, camaraderie and how supportive of each other they are. They play really important and key role in this book and help development of the main characters.
It was sweet, sexy and intense, at times heartbreaking and heartwarming story, emotional and enthralling, with real characters and a lot of heart and heat. I cannot wait for Corey’s book. Highly recommended.
Before I get into anything, can I just say that can Sophia be the one for Corey I don’t know I just see it somehow. That husband of hers might not be the right one. Plus maybe she can have kids it maybe her husband… or maybe not..
Because once I finished this book; I thought Sophia be the right choice. For some reason, plus with Corey having a baby > that will give her a baby.
But I would like to know who he got knocked up though. And who this lady he may end up with. I’m disappointed just a little about the release date of this book. “I’m sad” because I want to read it NOW 😭 > lol! But oh well I’ll wait.
So with that being said… Jez mom is a HORRIBLE individual and to think you want to be brought up in a rich family. When they only want to control your life and who you hang with or date. Is just not good for you health or anything. Jezebelle mom just didn’t understand nothing at all. Not even her dad had a control over his wife until after the party her mom had for both Jez and Brick.
Like gah the lady even gave me a headache. Even Bradley was sleazy as heck and she didn’t see until they went to the museum but still was in denial. I wanted to slap Jezebelle half of the time because I was like lady you are a grown women you can make your own choices. Like jheeze Luis.
If it wasn’t for Brick i think her mom would’ve wipe her butt for her if Jez let her because it’s like she didn’t have a mind of her own. But she wanted to speak her mind so bad. That’s where Brick came in to help her.
I’m glad when she finally got a backbone. when it came to her mom and spoke her truthz that was a good thing for her to do..
The Easy Part (Perfect for You #3) Written by: Amanda Siegrist
This was easy! The book was an easy, enjoyable read that had me invested not just in the story but also in this couple.
This is Jezebelle and Brick’s (Rick) story and it came with a great story line. Jezebelle had never had a great relationship with her mother. Her mother wanted Jezebelle to do and be what she wanted, never taking what her daughter wanted as anything serious.
She had however, let Jezebelle have her life in New York acting for a few years and now it was time for her to step up and fall in line, do what her mother wanted. Join her father’s law firm and stop embarrassing her family. Jezebelle was not going to go without a battle and Brick stepped up and said he would help her.
For the time her mother was in the city they would pretend to be engaged. What neither of them said to each other was they both had feelings for each other. They just had never voiced them. In this situation we readers know that this can go badly or this will be wonderful.
From a pushy mother, a three year disagreement with a brother and a man who is determined he is going to woo Jezebelle over to his side, Author Amanda Siegrist gave readers a story of a princess who hangs out in the handsome knight’s bar. Between their fake engagement and all the other shenanigans that occur, readers get to spend time with not just Jezebelle and Brick but the other couples we’ve invested in from books one and two.
With the ending as it was I think we might just see Brick’s brothers story coming soon.
This is the 3rd book in this awesome series and is Brick and Jezabelle’ s story. Jezabelle is sassy and strong, and Brick is strong and protective, and when he makes the off to be her fake fiancé to get her bossy and manipulative mother off her back, she jumps at the chance. These two have danced around each other for some time, with the sparks flying between them, as well as the chemistry being combustible and undeniable. This is a beautifully written story which is emotionally charged, and with humor, witty and flirty banter, complex characters, and love, which leads to an entertaining and all-consuming addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This one is my favorite out of the series so far. I love fake fiance, boyfriend, girlfriend... whatever. Those storylines are always fun. Compared to the previous books in the series, there were more twists and turns, or little storylines on the sides. It kept my attention the entire time. Brick is yummy and Jezebelle was sweet and finally got the nerve to stand up to her witchy mother.
If you want a good book to put a smile on your face, this one is for you.
I really enjoyed reading The Easy Part. Brick and Jezabelle had an instant attraction and their chemistry was WOW! Jezabelle's mother said its time to go home, but she wanted to stay. That's where Brick comes in to help, by being her fake fiance. Jezabelle was not a person that spoke her mind, but after Brick came into her life, she got the courage to tell her mother what she wanted to do. Couldn't stop reading until finished. Highly recommend.
This is the third book in a series but can be read as a standalone. I enjoyed reading Brick and Jezebelle's story. There definitely wasn't much that was easy. A good friends to lovers, fake fiancé romance.
I've loved this whole series and enjoy seeing the characters in the other books. I'm already looking forward to number four and I just finished!!
Jezebelle is a girl who is doing her best to make acting a career, but it's definitely been slow going which is why her mother comes to bring her home. Her mother is definitely a piece of work, and said mother feels like she gave her daughter enough time to pursue acting so now it's time to come home & do what the family wants her to do. Thankfully, Jezebelle has a Brick in her life, who decides to become her fake fiance when her mother visits, so what could possibly go wrong?! You already know that the fake line will get blurry at some point, but as to the when & how, I'll never tell. I read a lot of dark books, and while I love those type a books, I do need breaks from them so Amanda Siegrist is always a good time for me to clean the dark off of me LOL! I LOVED The Easy Part as the characters are relatable & easy to love, plus the story is totally engaging, and while there is some humor to it, the angst did my heart in more than once. So now it's your turn to experience all this goodness as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
Brick and Jezebelle's story was a great addition to the series. I think these two are my favorite so far. Both of them have such great chemistry and are just so perfect together. But obviously took them some time to see that. And Brick! He's going to have you swooning in no time. He's the perfect book boyfriend.
Their story got me hooked right from the start. It was a fun and sweet read, with a little bit of steam and angst.
Another great book in the series! It had the humor I look forward to, but this one had a more serious tone. Hold onto your panties because Brick is going to make you swoon left and right. I want to find a Brick for myself. He's definitely made of prime book boyfriend material. Jezebelle's mom is a piece of work. I wanted to knock some sense into her. Brick and Jezebelle have a fake engagement going on, but all too real feelings are bubbling just below the surface. This book is going to hook you and you'll just want to gobble up the pages. The characters are great and engaging. Some secondary characters have me intrigued for their stories.
I love the “Perfect for You” series by Amanda Siegrist and I had always hoped that Brick and Jezebelle would get together. Whenever they are around each other it is almost impossible for them to carry on a conversation because they are both so nervous! Jezebelle’s beauty and kindness shines from within and has captured Brick's heart and made him fall in love with her. He wasn’t sure how Jezebelle felt about him but he always looked forward to seeing her at his bar. On the day his life changed forever Jezebelle had been sitting at the bar looking upset, as if something weighed heavily on her mind. Brick never wanted to see her sad so he listened to her story, held her hand and made a decision that would make him the luckiest man in the world. His dream was to be Jezebelle’s man and it was about to come true. What could possibly go wrong with pretending to be engaged?
Jezebelle is smart and sweet and knows what she wants out of life; a career on the stage, good friends and a man who makes her heart beat faster and swoon with giddiness. Brick checks off all the boxes but Jezebelle could only dream about being with him, until the day he made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. I love the innocent romance and passion between Brick and Jezebelle. Brick is patient with her and is constantly reassuring her that he would always take care of her. He may have swept her off her feet with his proposal but fate had stepped in to help him win her heart.
Brick and Jezebelle’s love story is hopeful, sweet and magical. Brick had fallen in love with her the first time he saw her and their devotion to each other is what love is all about. Nothing or no one would get in the way of their happiness. Thank you, Ms. Siegrist, for this beautiful story.
Definitely the best romance story I have ever read. Jezebelle can no longer keep her apartment and even though she loves acting, she’s not working enough to get by, however she doesn’t want to give up her dream. When Jezebelles mother comes to try and get her to go back home Jezebelle with the help of her friend Brick, the owner of The Corner Bar, have decided to pretend to be engaged and living together to thwart her mother’s plan. But, This is one determined, rich and powerful woman who is willing to do anything to break up her daughters engagement. A wonderful, feisty and fun loving romance! Highly recommend!
This was a great addition to the series. I totally loved Brick. He was just perfect for Jezebelle. I also loved seeing the other characters from the previous series and seeing how their lives are going. Although this book is part of a series, you do not have to read the others to understand this one.
I love the Perfect for You series and I think Brick and Jezebelle's story is my favorite so far.
Brick and Jezebelle have such great chemistry and are so good together, though it takes them awhile to realize it. The story is fun and sweet with some angst and steaminess mixed into it.
While it can be read as a standalone, you'll want to read the other books because they're good too.
After getting to read about Gabby and Mia’s stories, I was hoping that Amanda Siegrist wrote Jezebelle’s story as I thought she was such an intriguing character. And after meeting her in Mia’s story and seeing how much of a crush she has on Brick; you can’t help but wonder if she’ll ever go ahead and finally jump his bones. I was not left disappointed after giving this book a read and thought that Amanda did a great job at telling Jezebelle’s journey, the fact that Brick has a huge soft spot when it comes to her helps because you can’t help but want things to work out for them both, plus a lot more gets uncovered which you can’t help but love. Brick is essentially the perfect barman, he listens to all the customers with their problems, offers advice when it’s needed. But still I thought he was a pretty awesome character back when he was introduced in Gabby’s book. Jezebelle has a lot more going on than meets the surface, but instead of actually showing people what’s going on, she tends to put on a mask so that no one can judge her or knows what she’s going through. I admire her because the last thing anyone wants is people being all up in your business, and she does her best to steer clear of prying eyes, but still with the type of family that she has I can understand why she is the way that she is. Overall, I do think that Amanda did a good job with writing this book and I loved how it all came together. There was just one thing that didn’t work for me, that I thought her dad was fake as anything, surely if he really cared about how she lived her life then he’d be supporting her and actually say something against his wife because surely his daughters happiness should be important than having his wife control how image is when it comes to their friends. I did want to smack both Bradley and Jezebelle’s mother because they just weren’t listening to her throughout the story, but still with books you’ve always got to have someone that isn’t exactly the nice person, so I think that Amanda nailed that perfectly. I’m hoping that Amanda plans to do more with this series as so far I’ve love all three books and it’ll be interesting to see if she plans on writing stories for any of the siblings of the main characters as I would love to see them again. Plus, it would be interesting seeing how things plan out with everyone later down the line.
Brick has felt something for Jezebelle ever since she first walked into his bar all those months ago with Mia, she was literally the only girl to have captivated him. However, due to the fact that it’s clear she’s always rushing her words out and never says much else to him, he doesn’t want to go too overboard with expressing how he feels. When she walks in one night and it’s clear something is bothering her, he can’t help but want to help her in any way that he can. When he hears that she may have to move back home thanks to her mother and that being the last thing she wants, he can’t help but come up with the plan of proposing they’re engaged just to try and fool her mom. He can’t stand the thought of losing her for good, so when it’s clear that she’s considering the offer, he can’t believe his luck. Will they be able to fool her mom?? What happens when it’s clear her mom has something up her sleeves?? Will this all work out in the hopes that they both want it too???
An enjoyable read in every way, it sucked me in from the first pages and wouldn't let me go! Struggling through books lately, even ones I loved, there was none of that with this book. Swept up with the characters, their story kept me engaged from start to finish.
From the very beginning, Brick and Jezebelle share a certain chemistry that is overwhelming, but the meat of the book lies in the complications of their family obligations. Navigating these waters together, even if the whole thing started as a farce, was quite magnificent to me in the way she wrote it. Family is complicated, Brick's estrangement from his brother which helps creates great drama between them all, bring in a shrewd manipulative mother and a childhood friend bent on taking Jezebelle from Brick, this book cumulates into one of the best books I've read all year.
Brick and Jezebelle earned their places in my harem! They're entertaining everyone in their respective ways!
This is book three in A Perfect For You Novel and it is Jezabelle and Brick’s story. Jezabelle and Brick have known each other for quite a while and they both have feelings for each other even though neither one of them had said anything but when Jezabelle’s overbearing mother comes to town determined to take her back home with her and nobody is going to stand in her way of getting exactly what she wants it starts a chain reaction so Brick comes up with a plan and that is that him and Jezabelle have a fake engagement hoping that it will throw her mother off and send her back home but things don’t always go as planned. What happens when fake starts to feel so real for Jezabelle and Brick especially with all the complications that keep arising and the attraction and chemistry between them just getting stronger, will they realise that they are perfect for each other and meant to be together before it is to late. I really loved this book and even with all its ups and downs, baggage, trust issues, emotional situations it is definitely worth reading as it had a engaging storyline and great characters that pulled you into the story and had you turning the pages to see what the outcome would be for them and I can’t wait to read more books in this series.
Part of the Perfect for You series, I have been looking forward to Brick's story. He may be quiet, but his presence is loud.
Brick has been attracted to Jezebelle for ages, but gets nervous around her. Jezebelle has been attracted to Brick for ages, but gets tongue tied around him.
However, when Brick finds out Jezebelle may have to move because of her mom (and her finances), he opens his mouth and suggests 1) pretending to be engaged and 2) moving in together.
Jezebelle agrees to put on the performance of a lifetime to convince her mom they are together. Brick plans on doing everything he can to convince Jezebelle that the real thing would be so much better.

Brick and Jezebel have circled around each other for some time, but neither have been able to do anything. When a problem comes up with Jezebel's present situation, especially with her mother, Brick makes an offer to help. Her mother is a native of work in every way. Brick is patient and supportive for Jezebel who puts up with it all, until eventually she gains a backbone strong enough to retaliate. Not all smooth sailing but finally they get HEA..love the ending and can't wait to read Corey'story. This is book 3 in the series and each end on a snippet of the next instalment..

I'm so pleased Brick is getting his HEA, I've had a big soft spot for him reading this series, he's such a sweetheart and deserves getting what he wanted, namely Jezebelle. I enjoyed finding out more about his life and seeing him fight for his and Jezebelle's relationship. I believed in their connection and chemistry and just loved the support they got from their friends no matter what. I am really enjoying this series.

Brick and Jezebelle's story is a sweet romance with amazing chemistry and a fake relationship story line that pulls you in.
Brick and Jezebelle are attracted to each other, but they are both too nervous to talk to each other, that is until her mom comes to visit. Great read that has twist and turn that makes it wonderful.

This is a very good contemporary romance.. I liked it.. It is sweet and steamy, with some great characters. I especially liked Brick. He's such a sweet big guy.. a bit rough around the edges.. but totally on Jezebelle's side.

This is a well written book with strong characters and an entertaining storyline. She brings Brick and Jezebelle together in this sweet and sexy story. It moves fluidly with perfectly painted scenes and is an enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I could tell Brick and Jezzabelle were attracted to each other but they don’t act on it until he offers to be her fake fiance to get controlling mother off her back. Their relationship escalates very quickly after that where they make some impulsive decisions and they have to deal with her mother’s many manipulative attempts to break them up.
Brick and Jezabelle have been dancing around each other, for months. They both feel something for the other however they are too scared to admit it. When she needs to get her mother off her case he steps in to help. Can they keep faking it or will it turn in to the real thing.
