Her words support and motivate, they uplift and inspire.’Kim Nash, Author.
I bought this book to share with my Mother while visiting. She read it in one day and placed post-it notes on several pages with her comments, love and encouragement. I read it all later. It was my last visit with her, and meant so much to have her personal imput. Donna Ashworth's words are so very well written and meaningful.
This book is a beautiful reminder to all women that we are perfect just as we are. As we age we can get so caught up with surface appearance forgetting the beauty within us that radiates out into the world. I forgot I love writing poetry. I have remembered now.
I slowly read this collection of poems each morning and was moved by so many of them, timeless and spot on. I especially was touched by the ones on friendship as I’ve recently witnessed the depth of friendship between my sister in law who is sick and her closest friend who is by her side every day caring for her. A true testament to the author’s poem on friendship.
A beautiful collection of highly relatable poems written in spoken word and rhymes. Donna has a wonderful way of connecting right to your heart and expressing your deepest emotions and feelings; validation and support you. Truly evocative.
Life in words...words of life....beautifully crafted....wonderfully lived. I so enjoyed this journey. Flowed effotlessly and elegantly. With gratitude and wonder.
Thank you, Donna. I love hearing you read your work on social media. It was nice to see everything here. You’ve captured so many moments in every woman’s life. It’s beautiful.
