Finally the conclusion to one epic series is here! I've been waiting not so patiently for this, but it was worth the wait for sure!! Break Free picks up right where Beyond Vengeance ended ---- And this one started with a bang and didn't let up until the very last page.
Hadley is one badass chick. Brave and unwavering. Despite what her life has dealt her she's grown into a force to reckon with. She is feirce when it comes to her people and she will takedown all who threaten them. Her support crew is small, but mighty. Her brother, her guys and her bff. They all have grown so much throughout the books. Her guys have become men that she can lean on, her brother is the rock she didn't know she needed and Emilia is her soul sister forever. Even Wilder was around for moral support, despite her guys and their jealous ways.
I loved seeing Hawk and Hadley's relationship thrive. She deserved that and SO much more.
Her relationship with Cam, West, Mason and Beck was something special. They each brought something worthwhile to the game and were just what Hadley needed. They helped bring herself back from the darkness that had plagued her for so long. They stood by her through everything. They knew when to push, when to stand back, when to speak and when to be quiet. They just knew.
So many twists and intense moments in this read! One heck of a ride and I'm glad I was along for it! Steaminess that will have you rubbing your thighs together and needing to cool off... HELLO CAR RIDE!!!! Holy hotness!!!!

YES. I feel lucky, so damn lucky, to have gotten it's ARC & getting to read it early (soon after the cliffhanger of BEYOND VENGEANCE 😉), & "BREAK FREE" - The 4th & final book of "Pacific Prep" series is Spectacular, Mind-blowing, Heartracing, Heartfelt & so f'ing amazing!!
I devoured this story, & this is my 1st thoughts after a good night's sleep 😌. Our 6 finally get their HEA here, but it's after hell of twists, long overdue confrontations, the whys & hows, & showing us the strength of their relationships/love/friendships.
Hadley; her 4 guys - Cam, West, Mason, Beck; Hawk, Emilia, Wilder... Our 8 have thrilling adventures here & find their justices too...Makes me so happy!😍 I love them so much 😭.
After the previous cliffhanger, We concur the 1st few chapters are heart-pounding & anxious. But then it led to my favourite scenes, Hadley overcoming her fear & demon, Yaaaayyyy!!! She's such a badass, but the next scenes show her humanity...♥️
I liked that this book is longer (I was so in!), It tied the loose ends well...& Set up future books & series (YES, I'm so in for cameos!). I adored that this showed the consequences too. I was crying over 1/4th of the book 😭.
Where Hadley's relationship with her guys & Hawk is here, this is all I've wished for since the 1st book, I'm swooning so hard! Sexy times are super hot, love so beautiful, care so sweet. The acceptance, understanding, always having eachother's back...Gosh, SO LOVELY.
There are many surprises here, last few secrets found. I loved the edge, the action, the normal student life, fun & more action! I was delighted to see their carefree times in last chapters after all the problems with THAT FREAKING COMPANY ends. My heart's so full of joy! The ending & epilogues are amazing & I'm so content ♥️.
This series is a Masterpiece. I recommend this so much! We've come so far since the 1st book!! I loved this adventure, so thankful to @ras & @aff!

This was good but I felt like it lost momentum from the other books in the series. It didn't hold my attention like the previous books have. It's also a little jarring when a character does a 180 like one of the parents did, but I'm glad it happened.

Loose ends are tied up, and unfortunately, we're at the end. I was a bit bummed out to find out about the sterilization. I was kind of rooting for Beck to knock her up and be the one to pop the question.
There wake a lot of spicy parts in this book which, if it’s for you, you will like. I was here for the plot, and I feel like SO many sex parts hurt the plot because those pages could have filled in a lot of story holes.
I just have a hard time believing 1 girl and 4 guys a functioning relationship... 🫠 And when they mentioned going to college... I was like, "Wait up, these people are in high school??" 😵💫

And we come to the end of the series! And couldn't be more prouder of how the characters have evolved from the first book to now!
Since Hadley arrived on the scene, West and Becks relationship grew from strength to strength. She was the missing piece in each of the guys that they didn't realise they were missing, She's the reason behind so many changes in the way the boys view life in general, and thus making them better people.
Without giving anything away, the guys work together well, each using their individual strengths to help Hadley not only break out of the compound but to take it down in its entirety. All while Hadley is facing her demons.
Hadley's trauma is delicately covered well by the author and the way the guys help her to deal with it is perfect. I know IRL the time it would take for the recovery would probably be much longer, but for the sale of the story, it's understandable that it's shorter! I'm just relieved it's been included and handled sensitively!
Not forgetting it is the end of senior year, which means exams, party's, graduation, college? With things so up in the air still with their parents and the Mercenaries they know nothing can be decided until they can close the door on that once and for all.
Plenty of action, emotions riding high and spreading wide , twists and double crossing and bridges both made and burnt. This covers everything you had a question for and more! As mentioned with the storyline on Hadleys trauma, the author hasn't been afraid to take sensitive and challenging issues and each one has been handled with care and consideration- kudos to RA Smyth for not just glossing over them!
I'm really hoping for a side story for Emilia, Hawk or Wilder. Not necessarily all in one but these guys kinda were left without a HEA, and they deserve one! Especially Hawk after what he's been thru!!
I'm sad to leave Hadley, West, Beck, Mason, Cam and Hawk but I'm so glad to have got to know them over the last 4 books! I can only hope we come across them in some form again some day - revisits can never be boring with this lot!

I WAS NOT FUCKING PREPARED FOR BREAK FREE. *throws kindle across the room* Fucking shit R.A. what the actual fuck!? How dare you make my shriveled black heart feel something. I damn near balled my eyes out for at least 20% of Break Free, if not more! I don’t fucking cry over books easily and when I do it’s certainly not anywhere near as much as I did reading this.
I NEVER do Goodreads status updates, but fuck me, I did not one but TWO reading status updates for this book. I feel the one I posted at 46% about sums up what reading Break Free did to me “I’ve officially cried three times now. It feels as if my heart has been torn out of my chest, chopped up into small pieces, and thrown into a meat grinder”.
Honestly y’all my head is all over the place after finishing the emotional rollercoaster that is Break Free. This book, wait no fuck that, this entire SERIES has been one hell of a ride and I loved every single second of it! I think it’s safe to say Pacific Prep has officially become one of my top ten series of all time. There’s definitely going to be a huge hole in my heart now that Hadley’s story is finished but I look forward to reading the spin off of this series.

This ending to such a tumultuous and heart-breaking series seemed perfect. Almost all the loose ends got tired in a perfect bow, and there were even many twists and turns that I didn't see coming. I really hope that these characters show up in future series, because I love them so much!!!

I love all books written by this author, but I absolutely LOVED Hadley and her guys!!! The twists, the spice, the action?! So good!!! As much as I'm sad to say goodbye, I cant wait to see what else this author writes!!!

Break Free is the final book in RA Smyth’s Pacific Prep series. I’m sad to see these characters go but RA Smyth made sure she finished their story beautifully.
The character growth in this series was amazing. We had all our questions answered and Hadley and her guys got their HEA.
I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author!! Bravo RA Smyth on another amazing series!

Beautiful. Perfectly beautiful ending! Honestly couldn't ask for better it was just everything I hoped it would be and more. There were a few unexpected jaw-dropping twists and turns along with some dark secrets coming to light.
Hadley is in a bad place at the start of Break Free both physically, mentally and emotionally but all of her amazing guys and her grumpy protective big brother Hawk have got her back. It was so lovely to see Hadley's relationship with her brother grow so much. Hadley shows such strength and resilience in Break Free and courage. No matter what is thrown her way she overcomes it with a fierce determination and despite what she has been through she retains her morality. Not once does she lose herself to the darkness of her life.
Her men help her with that as they pull her back and support her. Cam, is the light that Hadley needs to keep her sane, whilst Beck gets her one such a different level to her other guys having grown up without much money like she did. Mason and West are so protective and understanding of her needs and giving her exactly what she needs. Due to events in this book their was more story than sexy times with her guys which I throughly enjoyed but when there was the steaminess levels were of the charts.
Emilia is at it again, if you read the previous books you'll understand and if not you'll have to read it to find out. She's just the most perfect best friend ever and exactly what Hadley needs in her life. Speaking of best friends everyone needs a crazy psychotic one with an unnerving smile and loves knives. Wilder is one of my favourite characters and an unbelievable surprise that shakes everyone and everything up. I would be so up for him having his own book because there's still so much we don't know about him.

Break Free is the fourth and final book in the Pacific Prep series and I was not looking forward to the end of this series! I absolutely loved all the characters. Hadley, my god, she is the epitome of a goddess and her character was one I could not get enough of.
I loved the character growth in this series and the justice that was ultimately served in this conclusion as well. My heart broke for these characters so many times while reading this story and I’m happy we got to see these characters get the HEA they deserved.
This book is 400+ pages, but there’s mystery, action, romance, steam, spice, and suspense. The final ‘twist’ and the revelation of the mastermind behind it all completely baffled me and broke my heart at the same time.
When I think of RH, the Pacific Prep series is at the top of that list.
I can’t wait to read the Pacific Prep novella and any other books R.A. Smyth writes!

I feel like the ending to this series could have been better. A lot of the villains were taken care of in a few paragraphs and I wanted to see them suffer a bit more. But I ended up falling in love with all of the characters, even the ones I wanted to throw off a cliff in book one. This series isn’t for everyone but I really enjoyed it.

🌿Review with Spoilers: This is the final installment of Hadley and her guys’s story. Let me introduce these wonderful characters, (if you haven’t read 1-3…which if you haven’t please stop and do so, they are amazing!) — you have a strong, intelligent-however not tech savvy, resourceful, resilient woman named, Hadley. She is loved by her princes, who are, jubilant, saves the mood-Cameron, stoic, protective-Mason, brilliant, tech savvy, dominating-West, and empathic, fiercely loyal-Beck. Toss in their additional friends, a grumpy overprotective brother-Hawke, steadfast, brilliant, best friend-Emilia and swaggering, confident, dark knight-Wilder, you have a book that makes you want to stay in Pacific Prep for a little longer.
We left Hadley in book 3, stolen back to the compound. Where she is once again forced into her nightmare, being tortured, beaten, and almost broken. However, her princes, brother and friends were determined to bring her home. Unfortunately, some battles leave lasting scars. Thankfully, Hadley is resilient and has a wonderful support system, to help battle those demons. While conquering those internal demons, they continued their final fight against some very real external human monsters. Even with all of that on their plates, there are moments of joy and a WHOLE bunch of steam 🔥. So grab a pint of ice cream, enjoy the sun and the cove, take a pensive moment at a gradation, as this is a wrap on Hadley and the princes’s tale…well 4 out of the 5 princes tales 😏
With that I am so looking forward to the continuation of Pacific Prep with Emilia’s journey.

🌿Review with Spoilers: This is the final installment of Hadley and her guys’s story. Let me introduce these wonderful characters, (if you haven’t read 1-3…which if you haven’t please stop and do so, they are amazing!) — you have a strong, intelligent-however not tech savvy, resourceful, resilient woman named, Hadley. She is loved by her princes, who are, jubilant, saves the mood-Cameron, stoic, protective-Mason, brilliant, tech savvy, dominating-West, and empathic, fiercely loyal-Beck. Toss in their additional friends, a grumpy overprotective brother-Hawke, steadfast, brilliant, best friend-Emilia and swaggering, confident, dark knight-Wilder, you have a book that makes you want to stay in Pacific Prep for a little longer.
We left Hadley in book 3, stolen back to the compound. Where she is once again forced into her nightmare, being tortured, beaten, and almost broken. However, her princes, brother and friends were determined to bring her home. Unfortunately, some battles leave lasting scars. Thankfully, Hadley is resilient and has a wonderful support system, to help battle those demons. While conquering those internal demons, they continued their final fight against some very real external human monsters. Even with all of that on their plates, there are moments of joy and a WHOLE bunch of steam 🔥. So grab a pint of ice cream, enjoy the sun and the cove, take a pensive moment at a gradation, as this is a wrap on Hadley and the princes’s tale…well 4 out of the 5 princes tales 😏
With that I am so looking forward to the continuation of Pacific Prep with Emilia’s journey.

The final book in the Pacific Prep series was the explosive ending I needed!
Everyone has come so far since the beginning of the series, and they prove just how strong and determined they really are during Break Free. Secrets are revealed, relationships are tested and everyone must work together to save the girl they love.
Hawk has well and truly become Hadley’s rock and all blow job jokes have been forgotten, it’s their time to build their relationship to where it would have been if they weren’t separated.
Cam is no longer the queasy boy we once knew and is completed turned on by just how bad Hadley really is.
West and Beck have finally put their differences aside and work well together to save the girl they both need in different ways.
Mason is the same guy we all fell in love with and will do anything for his girl.
This series has been an absolute pleasure to read and whilst I’m gutted to be saying goodbye to Hadley and the gang, I’m also so excited to see where Smyth takes us next because you know it’s going to be a wild ride no matter what.

Talk about a book hang over! This book was everything you needed! It tied everything in to the most perfectly dysfunctional little bow. I couldn't love these men anymore then I already did! By far the best in the series. Hadley is such a bad ass and I love how she rules over all her men! I loved seeing Emilia so much in this one! Talk about twist and turns . This story totally kept you on your toes! I am so sad to see it end! I can not wait for the novella! I can not wait to see what happens next in this world weather Hawk ,Wilder and Emilia get a happy ending or what have you. I just need more!

Well, what can I say. @rasmythauthor has smashed it out the park with this book. Did we expect anything less?! ... like the rest of the series it keeps you hooked from the start. I missed Hadley and they guys and after the ending of book 3 I was dying to get my hands on this book 🙌🏻 I loved seeing West and Becks relationship grow 😍🥰 also, I cannot contain my excitement from all the teasers from a certain female and two guys 😜 then I get to the end of the book to find out there is going to be a novella!! EEEK 🙌🏻🙌🏻 they've all come on such a long journey, Cam is fully redeemed and in my heart forever. Hawk & Hadley have the best "twinmance" 😂 absoloutley love that. The storyline is epic and so is the revenge!! I'm worried I might say something that will give a spoiler!! So I'm going to stop there. Hadley and the guys are just amazinggg!! 🖤

WOW WOW WOW!
I devoured this series. I read the first three books back to back to back and I am so grateful to have gotten the ARC for Break Free....otherwise i would have gone a little crazy. 😂 I quickly became obsessed with each and every one of the characters and i'm so sad to see them go.
I got so attached to Hadley's bada$$ personality and her take no shit attitude. She had an extremely traumatizing past but she never let it hold her back. She used it to fuel her, to motivate her and to always remind her of her purpose even when those around her tried to tear her down.
In Break Free you get an even closer look at all of the characters personalities and their true love and support for one another. Yes, Hawk is still as grumpy as ever but he really starts to show his warmth and affection towards Hadley and continues to do his best to make up for lost time.
When it comes to her guys, Hadley does her best to put on a brave face in front of them. But they know her better than herself. They start to notice her cracking, so the remind her that she doesn't have to be brave 100% of the time. She can still be her (the girl they fell in love with) and be vulnerable.
I'm so nervous to share too much more because there are SOOO many twists that I didn't see coming. My heart broke and but by the end it was mended back together. I'm grateful that the boys all came together but i'm also more grateful for the love and support of Emilia and Wilder. Those two (or three 😉 ) together are going to be explosive.

REVIEW OF THE WHOLE SERIES
It’s an interesting book. The book doesn’t make sense, but I loved the dynamic of Hadley relationship of her 4 boyfriends west, beck, cam and mason. I think my favourite ppl overall in the whole series is Hawk even though he was a prick in the beginning and wilder sorry but that guy makes me laugh .

This was a epic finale for this series! I swear each book just got better and better! This one was filled with twists and turns some shocking revelations and awesome revenge of course it was super steamy I absolutely love the chemistry between these guys it’s intense and super hot this was overall a fantastic series and I can’t recommend it enough!

The ending is finally here and oh what an ending it was!!! Break Free is the final book in the Pacific Prep series … it’s academy RH with all sorts of secret organization goodness and chock full of drama, suspense and steam!!
I will rise, like a phoenix from the ashes…
Hadley realllllly shines in this last book. This poor girl has been through hell and back to get to her guys - Beck, West, Mason, and Cam. But the road to recovery is never easy and I love that it was honestly addressed and we were able to experience that journey with her.
The drama with their parents and the mercenaries and just over all revenge … I knew what I was hoping for but I loved how it all played out - definitely exceeded my expectations!
The steam was fantastic, as always. So so SO hot and the chemistry these five share was undeniable!
Plus the secondary characters really stepped up and we can see the makings of series to come. I’ll be waiting for those on baited breath! Don’t sleep on this series - it has everything you could ask for and more!!

Epic finale for the unforgettable series.
This group from Pac Prep has stolen my heart. And this ending to their story couldn’t be more fulfilling. I laughed. I cried. I cheered. I high-fived. It gave the right closure to the open questions. Their HEA was well-deserved.
Can’t wait to see more of the Pac Prep crew in the future!

Gah! I have been (not so) patiently waiting for this book to come out and I am far from disappointed! I am, however, so sad to be saying goodbye to Hadley and her guys!
This book was done in such a perfect way, I seriously have zero complaints or things I wanted more/less of. We pick up right where book 3 left off and the book takes off from 0 to 60.
Book 3 (Beyond Vengeance) was such a turning point for character growth and we continue seeing that in Break Free. The guys have all stepped up so much as men, but also as a support system to Hadley and I love that.
“When you’re unable to fight your battles, you’ve others who will stand up and fight them for you.”
This entire series was executed immaculately and I cannot praise it and the author enough!
