Soft, Steady, and Exactly What I Needed

It’s the kind of book you open when your brain is loud and you want something calm and grounding without being told how to feel.

What I liked most is how approachable it is. The poems aren’t trying to be flashy or overly clever. They’re simple, honest, and comforting in a very human way. A few lines here and there really stuck with me, and I found myself pausing more than once just to let the words settle.

This isn’t a book you blaze through and forget. It’s one you keep nearby and come back to when you need a reminder to slow down and keep going. Quietly reassuring and easy to connect with, it did exactly what it set out to do.
