Grey -- Desperate times call for desperate measures, otherwise I’d never have signed a contract with Knox’s Pleasure Emporium. Selling myself for a few hours once is far better than my other option -- letting my mother’s loan shark use me however he sees fit in order to recoup his money. I can’t even be angry with Mom since she’s no longer with us. She did what she’d thought was best at the time, but now I’m paying the price.
I didn’t count on a biker changing my life forever. Not only did we have a slight miscommunication that ended up leaving me with an eighteen-year commitment, but he’s my only hope of escaping my son’s father. Why do I keep getting tangled up with bad boys? It never ends well for me.
Samurai -- I can admit my past has left me screwed up. I’d never thought I’d pay to be with a woman, but not just anyone can handle my needs. The little goddess I purchased isn’t anything like I expected. The way she gives into me so sweetly, and comes apart in my arms, makes it damn hard to forget her when our time is over. I didn’t realize I’d be seeing her again, under less than favorable circumstances.
She needs my protection. What do I do? Act like a bastard and call her names. Not my finest moment. Now I need to fix things before my cousin, Phantom, decides to step in and claim her for himself. I might have some issues to work through, but Grey is mine, and no one is taking her from me. Not Phantom, and not the man threatening Grey and her son. Because once I’m in, I’m all in. I’ll kill anyone who tries to take her from me. I promised Grey I wouldn’t get sent to prison. I didn’t promised to be good. I just won’t get caught.
WARNING: There are scenes with bad language, adult situations, violence, and talk of abuse that may bother some readers. No cheating. No cliffhanger. And a guaranteed happily-ever-after. Samurai is part of the Devil’s Boneyard MC series. While the series may best be enjoyed in order, each book can be read as a stand-alone.
Harley Wylde is the International Bestselling Author of the Dixie Reapers MC, Devil's Boneyard MC, and Hades Abyss MC series.
When Harley's writing, her motto is the hotter the better -- off the charts sex, commanding men, and the women who can't deny them. If you want men who talk dirty, are sexy as hell, and take what they want, then you've come to the right place. She doesn't shy away from the dangers and nastiness in the world, bringing those realities to the pages of her books, but always gives her characters a happily-ever-after and makes sure the bad guys get what they deserve.
The times Harley isn't writing, she's thinking up naughty things to do to her husband, drinking copious amounts of Starbucks, and reading. She loves to read and devours a book a day, sometimes more. She's also fond of TV shows and movies from the 1980's, as well as paranormal shows from the 1990's to today, even though she'd much rather be reading or writing.

I absolutely loved Samurai and Grey. Theyre story was so emotional. And why he is the way he is is something i dont think alot of people think happens. It really touched me! And how he seemed afraid he wasnt what she needed, when hes all Grey and Ryo needed in all reality! The series gets better with each book!!!
Another winner in this series of books. Great characters and plot. Some great twists and turns along with action and emotional ups and downs. Some good things coming from bad things. Hoping to see a book on Phantom soon.
I love the Devil’s Boneyard Series by Harley Wylde, and Samurai & Grey’s story is another great installment. She’s had a rough time trying to pay bills and keep her son safe from his father, so she had to sign up with the Pleasure Emporium to get money to pay the bills off. But something weird with the contract left her pregnant again. Samurai has some issues from his past that leave him scarred emotionally. He buys time with Grey and he loves it, but he knows he can’t spend more time, so when she comes to him for help he’s a grade-A jerk, calls her a mean name and bails. But Clarity stops her from leaving and his cousin, Phantom, steps in a little. Oops, not sure Samurai will like that too much. Hmmmm…… Great story with some interesting surprises!
This one was a hit for me. I couldn’t put the book down. Both Samurai and Grey we come from pasts that no person would ever want to go through. When they gave into each other the were amazing. They both helped each other. They are one of my favorite couples. I loved catching up with some of the brothers. Harley Wylde has done it again. I love absolutely love her books. Can’t wait to see what is next.
Besides the Dixie Reapers, the Devil's Boneyard comes in second for me. They're hard, complicated, weird and very grumpy and gruff but one thing you can say about them is they'll do anything their loved ones. Both Samurai and Grey have a dark painful past, they learn they can get through anything together, their past will come up but will never be their end game. I'm glad Author Harley Wylde touched on certain subjects that happens everyday, and I couldn’t be happier that she did, don't know what else to about these two except this is a job well done and a definite recommendation from me.
This one was different from the usual amazing Devil's Boneyard. But we still got to meet old and new brothers. Grey is an amazing woman that can truly stand on her own feet and is a great mother. There were times that I was so mad at Samurai but that will be giving the book away its a good read that you will enjoy so much and can't wait for the next Devil's Boneyard brother.
Samurai and Grey get off to a rocky second start (I would LOVE a bonus scene for their first meeting *wink *wink). But when our H gets his head out of his lower orifice, he was there for Grey. As always, I can’t wait for the next book!
Samurai Devil’s Boneyard 9 is another 5-star achievement from Harley Wylde!
This author continues to hit all the sexy, action packet, MC romance ticks for me! I can always count on getting a fantastic story, wonderful heroines, and awesome MC characters with more than just brawn and a rocket between their legs…. of the Harley variety of course! 😊 Samurai is no exception. He and Grey are meant for each other. Their connection is instant but the healing and growth that takes place throughout the story is perfection! Samurai has a different backstory than most of our other guys but that makes us love him even more. Grey is also suffering a serious trauma that left her with a little boy. I love the way they bond and immediately start to help each other. Samurai works to slay her monsters and bring their family together. Great story! You will not be disappointed!
Samurai and Grey were perfect for each other. I just love when 2 people can connect the way they did. I absolutely love this series and everything Harley wylde has written can't wait for the next one!!!
Since. I kept expecting Phantom, imagine my surprise to get Samurai instead. Loved it however. Hate that Phantom is struggling to get a woman. Kind of like Flicker? I know it will be worth the wait. I wish Harley would check.in on James a and Irish more! I love them.
As always love reading your books ! Couldn't put it down! Looking forward to more like it! Love that you show issues that are apart of live and good endings to them!
I loved the book! Grey had so many obstacles to overcome but so did Samarai. It was different from what I expected but so good! I am so glad they finally got together.
Samurai took me completely by surprise, I couldn't be happier that he did! Appearances were definitely deceiving on both his side and Grey's but a connection is forged right then and there. That connection was deeper than they could know. These two are just perfect for each other, I fell in love with them both. All the stars for Grey and Samurai!
I loved this book. I was once told control is an illusion. In the case of Samurai it’s a necessity. When he meets Grey she allows him that control. There are many things at play in this book some are answered. When Grey arrives at the Devil's Boneyard Compound looking for Samurai’s help as expected he acts like a total douche canoe! Thankfully Clarity happens to arrive as Grey is leaving and takes her home with her. Between Clarity & Phantom they get Samurai to pull it together to man up for Grey & Ryo & face her troubles head on. Let’s just say for one man Karma really does come around!
Cinder needs to seriously put a beat down on Charming! That man is seriously starting to piss me off!
Another brilliant read from Harley Wylde samurai and Greys book is on point. I highly recommend this you have to binge and read all her books I have not come across a bad one.
With what’s happened to grey and Samurai for both of them is heartbreaking. But the way they both step up to bring their family together and the obstacles they both overcome especially emotionally to be together is just so sweet you have to read it.
Two broken people coming together. He has to have control and she was the perfect person to give it to him. I loved the story and how they both helped each other heal and move on together. I always love an alpha male.
This story will take you on a journey that will break you apart and then put you back together in a way that you don't expect. Samurai and Grey embarked on a raw and emotional ride that started some healing that both of them deserved. This is a powerful, strong, meaningful and heartfelt story. I enjoyed every single second of this book.
Oh my gosh that's this book! I freakin LOVE this book! My heart just breaks for both Samurai and Grey. This author has written a beautiful story about two broken people who in my opinion has waited their whole lives for each other. They've both suffered trauma and together they find healing and so much more. What an incredible story.
Loved the characters, loved that the author took on a very delicate matter. I've never come across that particular issue because nobody ever really talks about abuse against men. Loved the dildo scene though. Best ever. It's a ten star book for me.

I absolutely love samurai, it touched on subjects that aren’t written about nearly enough. Samurai and Gray are two people that are broken, but come together to heal one another! Although some of the subject matter is not for the faint of heart there is a happy ending!
So excited to be back with the Devil's Boneyard! Samuari and Grey are such a great couple. They are both a bit lost and broken and need each other more then they know. Touching on a few issues not generally spoken about but that should. We find two people with past trauma connecting each other and a mom willing to do whatever she can to protect her child and end up with a wonderful story filled with steam, sweetness and family
First things first; I like the cover of this book! Samurai is the ninth book in the ‘’devil’s boneyard MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Grey is a twenty one year old single mother fighting to keep herself and her son safe. In need of money, she meets Samurai in an unusual place. Fast forward four months and now a single mother that is now pregnant and in danger, she turns to Samurai for help. Samurai is a biker that is a member of the devils boneyard MC. After having something bad happen in his life, he needs control and doesn’t want love or kids. Will he open his eyes and give Grey a chance before it’s too late or will he loose her? The chemistry between Samurai and Grey is clear to see and I liked them together. I really liked Phantom; I hope we get his story soon! My heart hurt for Samurai and all he had been through. I liked that he opened up to Grey and she helped him. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Grey did what she had to do for her and her son Ryo. Yes, she sold her body to Samurai for one night but she needed the money. She never expected to see him again till her past came back for her. Samurai had one great night with a woman he couldn’t get out of his mind. When she showed up asking for help, he was a jerk. He has to make things right. He isn’t going to let anyone touch Grey or Ryo and even his unborn child.
Finding our Samurai aka Jin’s past is so shocking. I would never have thought. But with Grey, their souls are one. He may not have thought he wanted a family but when things changed, he embraced it and stepped up. His cousin Phantom is a great guy and would be a great Dad. He just needs the right woman. Hopefully he finds one soon. Grey may have had baggage but she was learning to drive forward. She held her own from the beginning. Even though they had a few trip ups, they found that their hearts were meant to be. I love it. We definitely need to find someone for Charming too. Something is up with him.
This has some interesting twists in it, the book can be read as standalone. I’ve read the others so it does help with the enjoyment but doesn’t take away if you haven’t read the rest. Samurai and Grey are two broken souls when she ends up pregnant with Samurai baby and there is a bit of aggression from samurai before things get sorted but then other issues get thrown in the works. There is one outcome I didn’t like as it didn’t sit well with me regarding Itachi cause surely the club would have shut those places down. I get the revenge aspect I’m just thinking would she not always be looking over her shoulder? I’m trying not to give anything away, I’m hoping that phantom and Doolittle get their stories soon.
Loved it, but noticed a calculation error at the prolonge that goes on about their meeting. Then at the start of chapter 1, it says 4 months later that Grey arrived at devils boneyards gates to talk to Samurai and he discovered she is 4 months pregnant with his kid but in the following chapter, he says he only met her once 7 months ago. So if it's four months later after she first met him and she's 4 months pregnant with his kid how does him only meeting her once 7 months ago fit into it? I know this comment might be confusing but I'm just wondering as the months don't add up. Is she 4 months pregnant or 7 months pregnant coz there's no way in the space of her being there for 24hrs she could have gone from 4 months to 7 months.

I am glad the author address sexual trauma in boys/men. So many time young men don’t report it because we live in a culture that glamorize boys and older women, when in fact it is sexual abuse. Samurai was a sweet story, with a little darkness thrown in. Both of them came from a traumatic background but were able to heal each other.
Absolutely the best read I've read in a while!!! Samurai and Grey are both seriously damaged, but together, they make themselves a loving family with their son, Ryo. A side note, I simply can't WAIT for Phantom to meet his woman...
