Lesson 9 told from Malcolm's (Master) POV was so awesome. It explains how Malcolm has been feeling the entire time he has been training Juliette. He's been denying himself, loving the fact that each one of Juliette's lesson has challenged him and his desire for her has been overwhelming. The fact that he has enjoyed being her first and how he watch her videos being taped in his office of each encounters. He was even the one who bought the painting of her in one her earlier lessons. Everyone knows how Malcolm feels about Juliette but keeps telling himself he's no good for her. Malcolm denies them both while still taking pleasures from her while she still not married to Charles. No matter how much control and polished Malcolm believes he has he has come uncontrolled and not able to focus because he is denying himself, especially as the day is nearing to Juliette's trip to Paris when she becomes truly Charles. However when he see the message Juliette wrote "You were right" "Have a nice life" he realizes its too late, he loves Juliette, will he make it in time or will he have the memory of the Hummingbird Pendant and must accept that its over and then he must move on with his life as Jane stated!!!! Lesson 10 last & finally book can't wait...

Finally a peek into the Master's mind himself 😍

OK, this book was absolutely needed in this series. Narrated totally from the Master's POV aka Malcolm, we finally get to see how his mind works and his true feelings for Juliette.

The man, who's always strictly professional and cold mannered, showing no feelings but keeps his business close to his heart, is finally giving us a bared for all.

I was oh so ecstatic to see Malcolm struggling with his feelings and not ready to accept what he feels for Juliette. Yet he's trying to stay close to her and trying his best to mend the hurt which at the end of book 8 we saw was so insensitive of him.

I was so fascinated to get a front row seat to all the drama unfolding but this time witnessing it from Master's side. Ahhh... YESSSS... Please..

AND. THAT. ENDING.. OH MY.. I NEED THE NEXT BOOK AND CAN'T WAIT FOR IT. Loved loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is by far my favorite cause we get the Masters POV!! Juliette’s day is coming up and it’s making Master more on edge then he thought cause he’s finally realizing this may not be as easy as he thought! Can’t wait for the next one

Master Class is a series of short serial novels. I need to start off by saying that I’m not overly patient and this series novella format is really not my thing where each installment is about 100 pages and it takes about a year to release the full series I believe the author is planning on 10 short books and so far, the first 9 are released. To understand the story you need to read them in order:
#1 – OBEY
#2 – TEMPT
#3 – TAKE
#4 – SUBMIT
#5 – OFFER
#6 – PLAY
#7 – TRUST
#8 – BREAK
#9 – MASTER

As a quick refresher: In book 1, we meet Juliette who has excelled in everything she has studied and is ready to embark on her arranged marriage, but she learns that her future husband who she has never met wants her to take one more series of classes before their wedding. In this book she meets the master who is to ensure she is trained to her future husbands’ specifications. In book 2, Juliette’s journey continues when she is painted by a famous artist. She continues to be challenged by the lesson she is to learn and when it is apparent she is failing, her Master has a lesson for her. In book 3, she is confronted with her v card and that it is not a prize her husband wants, but will she be able to learn the lesson he wants her to learn? Will she be able to keep her feelings for her Master out of the way? In book 4, she had a challenge she didn’t complete so she arranged a ‘make up’ task without consulting Master. Oops, that was the wrong thing to do! In book 5, we have an appearance by her husband to be! We also, meet Master’s brother which gives us some details about Master. In book 6, we have Juliette taking a vacation to a tropical island where her husband controls events rather than Master. In book 7 there is more of a love triangle vibe. Juliette is developing feelings for Master, but is torn by her obligation to her future husband. She starts a no-strings relationship with Master. In book 8, we have things coming to a head. Juliette is going to have to choose pretty soon. Charles is getting impatient and Master does things to prove how little Juliette means to him.

Finally, we are getting to the end. In book 9 we have things coming to a head when Juliette has moved in with Charles but she is secretly seeing Master. She is convinced he has feelings for her and he is adamant that he doesn’t and is doing everything possible to prove his point. Will she finally find a way to get through to him before it is too late?

Overall, I’m not a huge fan of these serials as I really want to read them faster than the author typically publishes them, but I am enjoying the lessons so far and I can’t wait to see who she chooses. At least it looks like the last book will be out by Jan 2022!

Our story continues to unfold, we are now hearing Master aka Malcolm's POV. While denying himself, he is still enjoying Juliette's attentions with so much remorse. The intense turmoil he feels, makes him deny everything that is so obvious to everybody around him. Malcolm is lost in a sea of emotions and can barely function within his own strict set of boundaries wthout stumbling. He willingly test himself against all the feelings he should have until his resolve breaks down and makes a run to grasp the love and happiness he could have with the woman who inserted herself in his heart. Is it really too late for him and Juliette? I volunteered to review this story. I can't wait for the conclusion of this epic love story.

YES, YES, YES! In Lesson Nine we see the story through Master's a.k.a. Malcom's eyes. I truly enjoyed this book and zipped through the pages, not wanting to stop until I reached the end. It was captivating to see Master finally acknowledge his true feelings for Juliette even though he had no intention of acting on them. Yet no matter how powerful and in control he attempted to be, he just could not overcome his heart's desire. I truly thrilled at his vulnerability and emotional upheaval in Lesson Nine. The ending left me breathless and desperate for Choose: Lesson Ten. I'm just BEYOND excited and filled with anticipation for the ending of this fascinating story! Bring it on!!

Ever since they announced the release of this book, I fucking knew it would break me. Fuck! After 8 books strictly focused on Juliette’s POV , Book nine was everything and more when it came to Malcoms POV! Malcolm is hard headed and determined not to let his feelings get in his way, but at every turn and chance he gets he has to have Juliette. And those steamy scenes 🥵🔥🔥🔥. However the clock is ticking and Juliette’s wedding is approaching like an angry bull coming their way. Juliette knows Malcolm loves her, he is her Master, but he is unpredictable. As usual with this series, the fucking cliffhanger was a shot to the heart! And I’m bleeding out fast! January can’t get here soon enough! Will Juliette marry Charles or will Malcolm finally snap, take her as his own and fuck the consequences ?

Oh my gosh!!!!! I can't tell you how much I've loved this series.........we are now on book 9 only one more left!!!!!

I think this has definitely been my favourite one so far, to finally read from Master's aka Malcolm's pov. This man constantly denies his feelings for Juliette, the turmoil and despair he goes through jumps out at you. Everyone around him can see his feelings for her but his denial really tests him throughout this chapter.

When he does finally give in to his feelings for Juliette it's a race against time to make her his and his alone but it's too late as Juliette is off for her marriage to Charles.....will Malcolm make it in time in the last book? I honestly couldn't put this one down it was so good finally getting to read from Malcolm's view and really getting to know how he felt for Juliette. Bring on the last book..........like now!!!!!

This series keeps getting better and better, it has me hoping for Master and Juliette to get together. We know he has feelings for her but how far will he go. He has tried to break the bond he has with her but didn't work. He is haunted by memories of the mistakes he made with her and needs something from her. They start a two week tryst as Malcom is hoping this will give him the closure that he needs. Will it? I can't wait to find out in the next book. This is a quick read but it gives you all the impact you need to keep you on your toes for the next book. There push and pull is heady and keeps you praying they give in and fully be with each other.

This is the first of the Master Class novellas from Malcolm/Master’s POV, and it was a good one. I’ve read all of these novellas and have reviewed the last few, and I’ve loved watching the relationship between Malcolm and Juliette shift and grow and morph into something different than we started with. Not only that, but Malcolm and Juliette are both entirely different people than we started out with. And this entry into the series gives us a delightful peek into Malcolm’s mind and his alone.

And, I have to say, I loved it. I loved seeing the contrast between Malcolm and his brother and I loved seeing Malcolm’s inner torment over Juliette and his own self-worth.

It was hot, angsty, and driven. Yum.

Book 9 in the Master Class and it a good one. You need to read these books in order.

Juliette’s training is over and her wedding is fast approaching. This book is from Malcolm’s POV. Finally we read what the Master is think instead of his controlling actions.

How will Juliette’s story end. Will she marry the man chosen by her father, Charles, or will Master, Malcolm, be her destiny. Can’t wait to see how this story plays out. One thing is a give, it will be hot , steamy and very likely dirty.

Up until this point, the books have been told through Juliette's point of view as she goes through all the lessons Malcolm expects her to master before she's ready for her future husband. In this book, we finally "hear" from Malcolm and his thoughts about Juliette's progress as she nears the completion of his courses. His job is to prepare his female trainees to be able to sexually please their spouses or partners, but he has mixed feelings about letting Juliette go and tries to sway her off her given path. Will he succeed or has the Master been mastered by his student?

This is lesson 9 in the series and it is from Malcolm’s POV. He clearly has feelings for Juliette that he is denying and he’s doing everything possible to prove that he doesn’t. He believes that they can still enjoy each other until she gets married and then go their separate ways. When Juliette finally leaves to go get married it might just be too late for him to realize his true feelings. OMG! I need the next book ASAP to see what happens!

The ninth book is starts with Master. He soon realizes what he has lost. He thought he broke Juliette. But now know his is the one broken. He would leave it at that but Charles has to call and rub his nose in it. And he knows that Charles will never appreciate Juliette. He will use and abuse her but never value her spirit and intelligence. Can Master finally admit he loves her? How many chances will Juliette give him? Is it too late?

Too short.

I loved this was in Malcolm's pov. I love the story and the characters, but I'm not liking the 80-page novellas. They are so short that you read through them quickly and the next thing you know, it's over. I much prefer them in a box set than bought individually. That's just my opinion.

This is a learning experience for Master, instead being one for Juliette. She knows how they dreams he won't allow himself to believe it. He takes her challenge and finally accepts that she's correct. This is a great series in learning, both Master and student have much to learn!
