Volume 5 started the second part of this light novel series. Just like the Alliance would monopolize the labyrinths to try to earn the necessary points to leave district 7, this time Elitia's big brother Johan Centrale (head of White Night Brigade) wants the cursed sword that Elitia equips. Whether she is alive or dead, Johan wants to use the power from this cursed sword to leave District 5 and upgrade to District 4. Just like the Alliance did. Author writes repetitive plot arcs (polaris-allilance, White Night Brigade-Alliance, etc.) There is no point to "saving" people who are trying to kill you (Alliance-Roland Sharone-White Night Brigade). Author contradicts justice. Even though Gray was chastised, Roland, Sharone, Johan, and everybody else, don't receive the consequences of their actions. Especially the main character, Arihito. Arihito is always "saving", risking his whole team, for strangers. He never assumes the consequences of his constant risks. Always writes checks that his team won't be able to cash. Author's ulterior motive is to see his main characters fail. The closer they are to dying, the more "fake/cheap" drama created.
Author has lost story quality. Changes the point of view of the person telling their story without any warning. Takes pages to figure out who they are. This is the Sixth Volume of this light novel series. Although Author and publisher release 2 volumes a year, illustrations seem half-done (especially the pencil black and white ones inside) and story is now filled with contradictions and plot holes. Volume 6 has 160+ pages, illustrations and information, in just five chapters and one bonus side story that usually describes how a girl in Arihito's harem wants to cross over the limits of propriety, but because Arihito is a wimp virgin without any hope, nothing happens and creates more anxiety than comedy (like the rest of the volumes in this series.) This volume has 50+ less pages.
Arihito wants to get Thereisa's humanity back. Wants to aid Elitia in recovering her friend Rury. Melissa's mom was also turned into a Beast-folk. The contradiction is that to "save" or "recover" all those people, Arihito (because of the author) is risking 12-15 living people (the members of his team, the support personnel of his team, and other teams like 4 Seasons). If it is true that you cannot earn something new without risk, the risk (that all of his team dies) does not compensate what they could gain. Thereisa has never asked nor insisted that she wants her soul (humanity) back. Elitia knows that Rory is probably already dead. And yet, author creates this impossible need to get to District 5 and District 4 to see if they have the possibility to achieve their wishes. Arihito is risking everybody's lives for a possibility that might not even exist. This does not make sense.
Yes! Thereisa is my favorite character. I would probably try to get her soul (humanity) back. The thing is Arihito has no martial arts training, has a team of girls with "trash" jobs and skills. They should all level up to maybe level 15 (safely) and then see if they can recover Thereisa's soul and Rury (Elitia's friend).

Action packed volume.

The action resumes in this volume, not that it has slow in previous ones. I wonder if Arihito's party won't run out of steam soon. The author brings a volume full of action scenes, well written that keep you reading. One of the main stories is now reaching its climax and hopefully will see the conclusion of this arc in the next volume. Some new characters are introduced and some new bonds are made. Overall, a fun and good volume.

Very good read

A very interesting I fully enjoying this Novel. This volume I didn't put down and really can't wait to read the next volume.

Another good point is the fact that I can picture one of my Own Character within this world

An enjoyable continuation

It was another good volume. I just don't like how every book just ends on a cliff hanger now. The action was solid, but the story seems short

excellent

I have read all 6 books in as many days and I’ve been completely enthralled with the characters and the actions. Never a dull moment and it keeps getting better. Can’t wait for the next chapter.
