Sea Dragons of Amber Bay #1-3

Sea Dragons of Amber Bay: The Complete Trilogy

Rate this book

Amber Bay, Alaska, has it all.

A cozy log cabin with a roaring fireplace? Check.

A remote location where my family can’t find me? Check.

Three hot guys I can’t stop thinking about? Also check.

But the small off-grid town also has a mysterious undercurrent running through it. People are wary of strangers - even though they don’t know I’m a witch - and mothers shoo their children away when I’m near.

Something’s not right here, and I intend to find out what it is.

But I’m afraid that digging up this town’s secrets might expose my own.

Sea Dragons of Amber Bay is a finished ‘why choose’ paranormal romance trilogy perfect for readers who enjoy sassy heroines, sexy sea dragon shifter heroes, and enough steamy scenes to heat up even a cold Alaskan night.

This boxed set contains all three books of the trilogy: TemptedEnsnared, and Seduced.

An enjoyable series. The box set of The Sea Dragons of Amber Bay tells the story of a technology Witch who had been thrown out of her coven, coming to live and work with sea dragons, ancient Witch enemies. The story is well written with interesting characters. The main character is a kind and gent soul, who is somewhat broken from growing up in a coven and with a family who never accepted her. The technology magic was well thought out and that made it mo believable. I definitely recommend this series.

I absolutely love box sets. I don’t have to wait to read the books when they come out individually I get to read the whole series in one go. I love how the sea dragons come to accept Skye as a witch and her quirky powers.

RH MMM/Sea Dragons & Witches/Multi PoV

SYNOPSIS (of Trilogy): The story is set in the modern world where witches and shifters live side by side with humans unaware of their existence. The FC is a tech witch who has always been put down by her coven and told she is an embarrassment and weak. Following an incident which led to her being exiled from her coven she takes a job on a remote island in Alaska which turn out to be run by mythical sea dragons. The story evolves as the FC and MCs quickly fall for each other and they learn about who they are whilst facing the threat of the FC‘s coven coming after them.

HEAT LEVEL: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/🍆🍆🍆 There‘s plenty of heat and steam with group, 1 on 1 and MM scenes. The scenes are detailed but do not go on for pages and whilst some are slightly gratuitous they add to the story and relationship building. There‘s an interesting side focus on how each of the MCs relationships with each other deepen and become more than what they were.

In summary this is an OK read. The books are well written with a decent story arc, there is a bit of angst and drama with a sprinkling of violence towards the end. I found the story dragged a bit in places and the action was limited but still engaging - not riveting or gripping but enjoyable.

The FC is likeable although frustrating in her low opinion of herself and inability to see her family and coven for the nasty people they were. There are some good side characters which added breadth to the story and some decent world-building giving depth to the story. The relationship between the FC and MCs was very much insta lust but the author still spent some time developing the connections between the FC & MC. The MCs are strong, alpha types with enough to differentiate each of them and the author takes the time to provide some good backstory for each of the characters.

The climax came a little out of the blue in that the reason for the FC‘s coven coming after them seemed a bit far fetched as did the consequences. I‘d have liked to have seen the coven get a bit more payback and regret their behaviour and to see what happened to Alice after everything was over. However, overall this was an enjoyable enough read for a few hours.

This series is super fun! Very much worth a read!

Book 1

I think Skye is an amazing character and this is just the beginning of her journey!! She has so much potential and I’m excited to see where the direction her story goes! Jack and Ty are such sweethearts and Skye is one lucky woman. I hope she opens up in the next book and shows these men who she is truly meant to be. This book is full of secrecy, romance, mythological creatures, and witchiness! This book definitely ends on quite a heart-wrenching cliffhanger, I’m scared for the relationship between the characters! I hope they get to fix things! I can’t wait to get started on the next book! But first I’m about to read the novella that includes some deliciousness between Ty and jack ;)

Book 2

At the end of this book we are a bit left on the edge, it seems like Skye might be in danger. We are left thinking that there is about to be a mutiny and the villagers are going to kick Skye out. We are left wondering what will happen with her relationship with the guys. I hope in the next book Aiden and Skye finally come together, there's been so much tension. Super excited to jump right into the next book :)

Book 3

Awww this series ends in such a cute and perfect way! What a lovely conclusion to Skye's story. I’m so glad they got the happy ever after that they all deserve. Skye is such a lovely character and I'm glad all the villagers came to realize the same thing! I'm also excited to see her pop up in other books set in the same world <3

I loved these amazing books when they were slowly finding their way into the world in their beginning, and now, there's an additional thrill to have them all in one gorgeous boxset.
These characters and their story is completely epic. Something about Dragons, be they of the Land or Sea variety, really makes my day - I'm quite happy to buy a book that even subtly hints at the presence of dragons but this one... it's so incredibly worth it.
Our heroine is strong and capable even when she doubts herself - but I gotta tell you, her family **** ****. Then you have these 3 amazing dragon-men who are so different from each other and yet they complement each other and Skye so incredibly well.
And the best part, or at least one of them, is how there is nothing typical about Zoe Ashwood's interpretation of magic. I absolutely love reading about a known quality with a twist!
It's totally awesome sauce!

Sea Dragons #1-3 . . .

This set is the complete trilogy of the SEA DRAGONS OF AMBER BAY. Skye is a witch who had been thrown out of her coven. After a short stay with her sister, she accepts a job offer for two weeks in Alaska, living and working with sea dragons. The people of the town are wary of strangers. Not aware that she is a witch, they still react to her as if they sense something different about her. Some of those people she meets are Jack, Ty, and Aiden. Will the sea dragons be able to accept that Skye is a witch?

Titles included in this Trilogy are:

Tempted (Sea Dragons of Amber Bay #1)
Ensnared (Sea Dragons of Amber Bay #2)
Seduced (Sea Dragons of Amber Bay #3)

There will be drama and some problems to overcome as they try to find their HEA. Are they meant to be together? Will Skye stay in Alaska?

Skye is a witch, but with powers that are not accepted by her family and coven. Her sister, the only family member that still loves and cares for her, has let her stay in her home for several months, but Skye knows it puts a strain on her sister to do so. Because of that, she accepts a job offer for two weeks in Alaska, that also comes with meeting new people. Introducing: Jack, Ty and Aiden.

I sailed through the first book like a sea dragon through the water: smooth, excited, continually deciding to go just a little bit further, dreading the end of the journey, then to think nobody can stop me if I decide to immediately get on with the next part... I fell a little bit in love with Jack while reading this series: he might be a new favourite for my imaginary harem.

I loved each of the parts of this box set. Skye and each of her men are simply amazing, even if it takes one a little while to get on board 😉. There is something so satisfying about a completed series and having it all in one place. Well, except for the two bonus scenes… which are VERY worth downloading.
I loved the world building in this series and the setup of the long term conflict between witches and sea dragons. The history created so much tension that you could feel as the characters each had to navigate their new reality.
My only hope is that there’s a novella coming that shows Skye, Jack, Ty and Aiden in the future… With a slew of dragonlings and a thriving village. I can’t wait to read the other series set in this beautiful world.

Complete trilogy is the best format

Because the cliffhangers ruin the entire story for me. I listened to the first book via my local library and was very unpleasantly surprised by the end. It was especially jarring with the audiobook format as I had zero warning we were approaching the end of the book.
This was my first read by this author and I won't be picking any incomplete series by them.
That being said, the story was absolutely lovely and I'm a fan of the contemporary fantasy world that they built. I will be looking for more books by then... Just never singly.

I loved this series from start to finish. From the way Skye mustered up the strength to go out on her own, the way Aiden chose her for the job and the ways in which she, Jack and Ty first interacted, all the way to the way the entire series concluded. The meshing of magic, technology, dragons and the Alaskan wilderness, not to mention all the heat and romance, made for a perfect binge read that kept me up way too late. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.

When a witch who has never been welcomed unknowingly meets a clan of sea dragons, she's finally found her home but what happens when they find out what she is and what she can do? This trilogy has great character growth, action, excitement and steam mixed with the wilds of Alaska it's a enchanting story.

This series is so good!! First books by this author and I’m totally hooked. There is such a good storyline that keeps you on your toes, but doesn’t make you feel super anxious. The love story is so sweet but really hot! There is MM in the series which is hot!! I’m really excited about the other characters that are going to weave into the story in the next series by this author.

Cute Story

Finally a female lead who actually learns as the books progress. And the magic is a mix of new and old which I really like. The newbie polyamorous group writing is okay with their ability to communicate and talk through things. It does feel a little more fated mate more than poly because it just works for them too easily. Always a fan of the reverse harem, though.
