JT has had many physical and health related problems starting from the day he was born, but his positive attitude, his loving, supportive parents and faith in God has helped him overcome each obstacle. this book is the story of JT Jester, a very resilient, courageous and determined man who has overcome many obstacles in his life thus far. by the time he was 3 years old, he had spent months in the hospital and endured sixteen major surgeries by the time he was 16. diagnosed with VATER syndrome, he was born with several birth defects that made his early years full of life-threatening obstacles, pain and challenges. after overcoming his physical ailments for a time, JT would learn he was dyslexic and that he also suffered from short term memory loss, making learning to read or write virtually impossible. after being let go from school and told he would indefinitely be illiterate, JT channeled his tremendous faith in God, in himself and the support of his family and friends to defy odds and overcome them. while pushing through even more health scares, diagnoses and spinal surgeries in his teens, he went on to graduate high school, then college and even climbed Mount Kilimanjaro! so amazing. this was a great reminder that there truly are no bad days, just hard days, and that with God and true authentic faith, anything is possible and you can be anyone you want to be! thanks for sharing your story, JT and the stories of many others who inspired you! 💪🏼
