Unfortunately the last book of the series for me was the weakest, it failed to deliver the kicking punch.
Let’s start with that the book series is supposed to be horror and thriller but that last book was borderline sufi/ philosophical. I love philosophical and sufi books but it is not fitting here and the book failed to deliver the horror it has shown in the first book and that anticipation.
In the second book I hated that women were more of side characters and damsel in distress but to discover in the last book that women play the crucial and most important part only towards the middle of the last book was frustrating.
Then why ppl keep insisting not to past the knowledge to those in line with them and get them more prepared instead of being surprised and overwhelmed, they should have mentored those who will carry the torch after them.
The writing style in the last book didn’t grip me like the other two.
