Beautifully, wonderfully, toe-curlingly complex. That's Killian O'Sullivan--running back for the New York Vulcans--complete with lucky green jockstrap and an appetite for trouble. A smart woman would steer well clear, but I've decided to head right for the pretty blue eyes of the storm. I find him one night half-naked in an alleyway (long story) short on pants but definitely not short on something else. Helping a stranger in need is one thing, but dating a Vulcan is quite another. He lives on a knife's edge. Me? I've got . . . complications (even longer story). It's a solid no-go. Absolutely not. Still, there's a flicker of desire that's working itself between my legs that seems damn near unstoppable if I let it burn unattended. But a guy who looks good in a skirt (yep, another story) and smells like a bottle of Jameson? I have an inkling, a little tingle that tells me it would be a bad, no good, terrible kind of idea. Because getting into his pants is one thing. But getting into his head is quite another. Contains mature themes.
Teagan Kade thinks talking about yourself in the third person is silly, just like her collection of snow globes and rare manga. When she's not being silly, she's hanging out with her own Storm and two children in the south of Australia, dreaming of new characters and torturous ways they can get themselves into trouble. Teagan loves hearing from her readers, all of whom are as dear to her heart as salted caramel cookies. Shoot her an email at: teagan@teagankade.com. She doesn't bite.
Killian O'Sullivan has more on his plate than most other professional football players. The Irish star running back for the New York Vulcans, he has the added responsibility of his father's debts. Owing money to the Irish mob, Killian fights underground MMA to pay off the debt. After a night of too much drinking, Brook finds him naked in an alleyway, and is startled by the sight of him. She's had her eye on him and it would appear that it's not a coincidence that she found him there, passed out. There is a connection between the two and Brook brings him into her world. Part of her world is Hannah, her seven-year-old daughter, who sometimes appears to be the adult in the room with her amazing attitude. Brook has a secret that could spell the end for their growing connection, even if it might be the answer to his dilemma. Teagan Kade is one of my go-to authors in sports romance and Killian is another example as to why I count on her so much! Ryder and Liam are the first two books in the New York Vulcans series, standalones, and are worth reading to fully enjoy Killian.
I really enjoyed Killian there was a lot of action, suspense and steam. I found it fun. In my opinion Teagan Kade did a good job of bringing me into the action. We know what Killian's secret is, but Brook is hiding something let's just say I wasn't expecting what I got. So Teagan Kade gets two thumbs up for surprising me, that doesn't happen very often. I found Killian a little dark and gritty. I loved the chemistry between Killian and Brook. I loved Killian's toughness and loyalty to his family. I love Brook and how she surprised me. I loved her love for her daughter. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader's copy.
This is the 3rd book in this amazing series, and this is Killian and Brook’s story. The chemistry between these two is undeniable but Brook is keeping a surprise secret which could be the demise of any relationship between them. This is a well written story which had me on tenterhooks throughout, and is a dark, raw, gritty, and emotionally charged story, which is filled with fun, humor, suspense, twists, secrets, family, danger, action, drama, loyalty, and love, which leads to a sweet, and entertaining addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Killian is another great read by Teagan Kade. Killian is a really likable character caught up in a dangerous situation not of his making. Brook is the woman he falls for. I love her. She is strong, kick butt character and has great chemistry with Killian. However, the scene stealer in this story is Brook's nine-going-on-twenty-year-old daughter, Hannah. So funny! There's lots of steam, some drama, and some danger in this engaging, entertaining romance. I really enjoyed it. 4.5 stars.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I'm really enjoying this series. Killian is an Irishman, playing football for New York. Brook is a detective on a case and Killian is that case. Is she crossing the line or just following her heart? Illegal fighting to pay his father's debts leave him in serious hot water. I enjoyed seeing the softer side of him as he interacted with Brooks daughter. You know a relationship based on lies cannot end well. You'll be hoping he'll come to his senses. Loved the ending and the insight into their lives a few years down the track.
Killian O’Sullivan is a bad boy Irishman on the New York Vulcans Football team. He has inherited his fathers large debt from the K&A Gang an Irish/American criminal network. When Killian doesn’t take a dive in an underground MMA fight, the K&A Gang are very angry. While out with teammates one night, Killian meets Brooklyn who has big secrets of her own which hurt him especially when he was falling for her.
I received an ARC for this book and this is my review.
The third book in New York Vulcans series gives us hot Irishmen Killian. With the stress of participating in the underground MMA world, he doesn’t need the added chemistry with Brook. But when things heat up their attraction cannot be denied. I loved them together, Brook is such a a strong character that you will fall in love with especially with her cute daughter Hannah. Just the right amount of drama, suspense and heat level that made for an entertaining romance read.
Killian has the unfortunate luck of inheriting his fathers debt from back in Ireland and has been fighting underground to pay it off. Brook is the detective that has been tasked with taking down the men who are behind the fight club. Sparks fly when they meet but Killian isn't aware that their meeting has been orchestrated until he discovers her gun and badge. Interesting story worth a read.
I wish I could find a hot dude pant-less in an alley.
Killian had more issues than the Publisher's Clearing House. The Vulcans, his dad, his drinking, his teammates and his secrets. Brook had a big secret and surprise, a daughter, that Killian didn't see coming. But, that daughter, oh my goodness, who was the adult here? That kid was spunky and not as clueless as one would think for a 7 year old.
I was always curious when it came to Killian. His character was always so intriguing so I was really looking forward to this book. I was not disappointed. There were a couple curve balls to it that I found fun. I liked that it didn’t go the way I expected and I enjoyed binging it. Devoured everything and was always excited to see what happened next. Will be fun to see what’s up next for the Vulcans players!
I really enjoyed Killian and Brook's story. It was full depth, mystery, suspense and characters that were interesting. The chemistry was great. Brook may have been reluctant to fall for Killian but she just couldn't help it. Kilian was more than he appeared to be. When everything is revealed it doesn't seem to get in the way of their HEA.
What a great love story! And a great story period. Killian is a sexy football player who gets in a very dangerous situation. Brooke is the tough woman he falls for. Brooke has an adorable daughter, Hannah, that I fell in love with. Usually kids in romances are an after thought. Hannah is anything but an afterthought and I loved it. A really great read.
I love how the stories entwine. I get updated about their lives and some parts from the previous story get filled in. There is a lot to enjoy in this story. This includes the easy flow, engaging plot, likable characters, and heated sexual encounters along with a bit of danger action.
Killian and Brooke have a very unconventional meet. While I liked the heat of them, there was a lot about her and her profession that bothered me. It just seemed a bit off.
The intrigue of a street gang and illegal fighting made it interesting. It was nice to see other characters loop back in. A nice, football romance.
Humor, passion, intrigue, and hot football player, need I say more? Killian is in a bit of a bind, not read for a redhead to snag his attention. Plenty of action to keep you engaged.
This is the first I've read of this author and this was pretty good. Decent plot, good characters and some steam. I liked that Brook had a daughter. Sorry that there wasn't more interaction with the other players. Overall, a good book.
This is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone story. This is a genre that this author writes incredibly well, this story is fast-paced and entertaining.
I liked this book. I like that it was happening alongside the other 2 books in the series. There was plenty of drama and spicy bits. This is definitely my favorite of the series thus far.
His Undercover Love - Killian thought he had found his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when he was with Brook, but he unfortunately wasn’t aware she was keeping a very big secret from him. Brook was meant to keep her relationship with Killian platonic, but what she forgot was that the heart always wants what it wants. Spending time together brought them close together, but their secret lives made their relationship precarious. It would take laying all their cards on the table and working together, for them to get their happily ever after.
This is a slow burn romance, with some emotional moments, steamy sexual encounters, a precocious child and action-packed drama that will keep you on the edge goof your seat. I really enjoyed reading this story and I am sure you will definitely enjoy reading it too.

OMG!! Love it! I didn't want to put it down. With a wonderful HEA!
Killian meets Brooklyn at a bar Ryder, Liam and Harrison take him too. Brook runs into Killian and he spills his beer. Wow! This series gets even better with each new book, and Killian and Brook's story is the bomb! Fast-paced, funny, scorching hot, romantic, addictive and captivating ... that's how you could sum up this story. I love both protagonists, their chemistry, their banter, the bond between Killian and his teammates ... This suspenseful story, part crime thriller, part romance, kept me on the edge of my seat and turning pages as fast as I could read to find out what would happen next. And now, I can't wait to read Harrison's story!

I am so in love with this series. Each book has had me turning page after page until I get to the end. Killian and Brook's book is hot, funny, suspenseful, and romantic. The chemistry between these two is hot! The story is well written and once you start reading it you will not be able to put it down. Page after page, chapter after chapter you will be drawn into their lives and you will promise yourself only one more chapter but we all know that never happens. This one kept me up late into the night. I am looking forward to reading more by this author. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed this book which had me hooked from beginning to end and kept me turning the pages on my Kindle to find out what was going to happen next. Killian and Brook's story is excellent, they are both very well drawn and likeable characters. This is a well-written and suspenseful story, it's part romance and part crime thriller, the plot is fast-paced and funny and hard to put down. The chemistry they share is palpable, scorching hot, and undeniable.
Again this book has so much action. Because Brook is an NYPD detective and Killian has lots of problems with gangsters. It definitely didn't get boring in this book. I read the series in May. I know the book, but it's so difficult to write about it. My f** brain 🙈 So what can I say? READ IT... LOL. Honestly, this series is really good. And the scene when she found him in an alleyway behind a pub NAKED 🤣🤣🤣 If you have such friends, you definitely don't need enemies 🤣🤣🤣
