Something rank slithers down the hallways of the Farrell mansion on Winnetka Road, but Simone Farrell and Claire Ruane are oblivious. At 22, they’ve had enough tragedy to last a lifetime and are enjoying the summer of ‘78 back at the old house—swimming in the pool, playing tennis in the new recessed tennis court, and listening to tunes blasting from the outdoor speakers. Childhood trauma transformed the lives of Simone and Claire, forever taking away their sense of the world as a safe place. But it also gave them extraordinary gifts. They’re going to need them because the past just won’t stay put at the house on Winnetka Road.
I have completed all 5 books in the series. I was engaged in all of them. I would suggest that you read them all and read them in order. Hopefully there will be a number six in the series. J.S.Sherman, you are a beautiful author. The writing is clear and captured me. It was kind of a marathon reading all 5 books in less than a week. And it was worth it. Thank you for this story, I look forward to the next book.
