A note from the author:

Thanks for visiting my Goodreads page.

I wanted to tell something meaningful about myself, but let's start with the important stuff--I love swoon-worthy heroes. The kind of heroes that are strong and would take a bullet for you, but also want to open your door and listen to you pour out your heart.

What else? I grew up moving. If you’ve read my books, you won’t be surprised by this. I have a lot of moving themes through my books centered around characters experiencing pain from someone moving.

It was hard. But, I believe there’s always a seed of good that comes out of everything hard, so I think the best thing that came from it was that I learned to love books.

And I had to learn a lot of mad skills on friend making. It gave me a love of people…good people, compassionate people. Interesting people of all kinds.

What else about me? I am a mother and wife! I have four amazing boys that are like little ninjas running around. I love them so much and I’m so grateful for my amazing husband who doesn’t get intimidated by all the billionaire men in my life.

I have a fierce love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for Him and for the healing and forgiveness I’ve gotten to experience in my life. This is a theme in many of my books.

I love being an American. I am so proud of the men and women that support and preserve our freedom. This is another theme you will find in my books.

I am so grateful for my fans and for the support and love you all show me! Don’t stop reading!

Hugs-

Taylor

I have loved all of the books I’ve read in this series. I know I have missed at least one of the books. But this one still made sense and held my attention. So, I’ll say you don’t need to read them in order. I would definitely read The Stone Family Inn first. That will help you know all of the characters in the other books.

This one is about the youngest brother, Hunter. Hunter went through some really hard things. And those things hardened him. And that was obvious at some of the places in the book. But we all go through hard things, they change us and make us stronger. And that eventually happens for him.

Cheryse also has been through hard things. I love the way she allowed those to change her and soften her. She was able to mourn with those who needed mourning with. I really loved her character.

There were so many great things about this book! I love the whole Stone family. The way they watch each other’s backs. I laughed with them. And I cried with them. I worried for them.

This book has it all: romance, suspense, light moments, and moments you’ll need to cry. I loved it!

Wow, I did not expect the first chapter to bring me to tears. I was not emotionally ready and had to take a few days before I came back to finish the book and still shed quite a few tears. There was a lot of heartache, but also healing in this story. I am so glad Hunter and Cheryse finally got their HEA. This was a nice end to this series. The Stones are a special family.

There are tears that will fall; heartache to feel; and, sacrifices that make some men better people. That being said, often as you age, a person realizes there are people in your life you want to remember and emulate. For example, my father-in-law made me a better person not only in life but in death; why, he was a powerful Christian and man of faith. This book brings forward sacrifice, human experiences and family. As an ARC reader, I was able to read the rawness of loss and grief in the first edition of this book; and, the writing was powerful and fantastic. As a fan of this author, I read the revised edition with all new feelings and wonder. This story-line includes long-time friendship leading to romance, babies born, and Pastor Henry lending strength and healing.

This book is filled with a lot of angst and raw emotions, emotions that leave you in tears and heartbroken for the pain these characters are enduring . The years long relationship between Cheryse and Hunter is complicated and conflicted, one of love and hate, guilt and so much yearning. It may have started as a friendship between Cheryse and the twin brothers, but it has morphed into something more between her and Hunter. Neither is willing to really deal with their tumultuous feelings for each other. When his twin brother, Trent, was killed, their grief laid bare other emotions they tried to subdue, the love and passion they felt, but again they pushed them down and each other away. Hunter returns to his SEAL team after his twin’s death more reckless and fearless than before until a career ending injury brings him back to his his family and close to Cheryse. In his absence, Cheryse has still been in a stale, but safe relationship with the boyfriend Hunter can’t stand and she has lost touch with Hunter. Roger is the safe choice for her, not a man who puts himself in harms way like Hunter, or a controlling, abusive man like her deceased first husband. She doesn’t have intense feelings for him, like the ones she pushes down whenever Hunter is near, but she tells herself that’s okay and better for her. The Hunter who returns this time is angry, bitter and lashing out. He is angry at his situation, at himself and at the world at large. He also can’t stand to be so distant from the one person who has always been there for him other than his twin…Cheryse. After he accidentally injures her, Hunter tries to make amends sort things out with Cheryse. It’s their chance to reconnect, to make amends and maybe finally reveal just what has been in their hearts all along.

Their story is part complicated romance, part lesson in family dynamics and part treasure hunt. It also includes a few unexpected twists just to keep things intriguing and a conclusion that wraps up the Stone Family series of books very nicely. I highly recommend this book and the previous books in this series. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This is the last book in the Stone series. Minor spoiler this book started off with Hunter getting some really awful and heartbreaking news. But I didn’t believe it was true not even for a second. I kept reading because I knew author Taylor Hart would have a big surprise ahead for us. It pains me to give this 3 stars and it’s not because of how this book started, it’s because of Cheryse one of the main character’s in this book. Through out most of this book I found her very unlikeable and selfish. She’s supposed to be in her 30’s and she acted like a child. I kept hoping Hunter would get a new love interest. Cheryse has a boyfriend named Roger through 85 percent of this book. Roger of course is usually out of town and brought in occasionally to cause some drama. She’s a cheater and being unfaithful and that to me isn’t romance. I hate cheaters. This was my least favorite book of the 6 book series. I’m still glad 😀 I read it to see how treasure storyline was wrapped up and to get glimpses of the other 5 couples from the previous books. I will continue reading Taylor Hart books and the first 5 books 📚 I really enjoyed.

A wonderful finish to a series
This is the last book in the Stone Family Series and it ties everything up nicely. Hunter, a Navy SEAL, wakes up in the hospital surrounded by his family bearing bad news. Trent his twin and also a SEAL has been killed in the same fire fight that put Hunter in the hospital. As Hunter struggles accepting his brother’s death the only person that seems to be able to help him feel peace is his and Trent’s long-time friend Cheryse. However, Cheryse is currently dating another man, Roger, and has even considered marrying him. But there are secrets that others don’t know that can change everything. Through the story you watch as Hunter spirals down in his grief, Cheryse struggles with her past, and the hidden Conquistador gold continues to place all the Stone family in danger. But can they remember what their parents taught was the greatest treasure throughout all their hardships? I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

The Stone Family Treasure is an intensely emotion conclusion to the series! You will need tissues close by as you read this extremely well written book. Hunter fights anger, loss, depression and more. Cheryse continues to question her feelings for Roger vs the ones she has for Hunter. After Hunter crashes into Cheryse and sprains her ankle, he spends a lot of time making amends. I can just see him charming all the ladies at the beauty salon! The conclusion is spot on perfect. It ties up all the loose ends not needed for the next series. If you like Christian romantic suspense it does not get better than this!

If I could give this book 6 stars I would. It was that good. I liked how this book focused on Hunter and his best friend Cheryse. There were many ups and downs and obstacles thrown at them but their friendship survived it all. The book kept me spellbound, curious, and riveted as I quickly tried to read to the last page. I really liked that the author pulled out all the stops in the book and ended the series with a bang. I will definitely reread this series and I liked the sneak peek into the next one that spins off of this one, I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

I waited in anticipation for Hunter’s story and it did not disappoint—love, loss, family, and treasure hunting—what more could I ask?
Cheryse loved Trent and Hunter from the time they were kids, but life got in the way. After a horrific end to her first marriage she’s settled for a vanilla kind of guy. Not too much excitement, nothing unexpected, safe.
After a tragedy Hunter returns home to find his feelings for Cheryse have never changed. The attraction is stronger than ever. Too bad she’s not on the same wavelength. Or is she?
Hunter’s story played my emotions like a violin. This is a well written, easy to read romance I think you’ll love.

Grab The Tissues, You Will Definitely Need Them!
OMG, what a fabulous book for the conclusion of The Stone Family series. I absolutely loved it. This has all the emotions and really draws you in. As always, the characters are wonderfully written and feel so real. Hunter has some definite depression and anger issues. Cheryse is a complex person. Finding the “treasure” was delightful to read. I absolutely loved this book.
I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.

I had an ARC copy of this book, but this is my honest and voluntary opinion. Navy seal Hunter Stone wakes up to find his twin brother died while serving as a Navy Seal. He returns home after he loses his eye which ends his navy days and reconnects with former friend, Cheryse Skye, ends up hitting her with his motorcycle and spraining her ankle. He then helps her with her beauty salon before returning to active duty. This is an uplifting book despite the circumstances and features dealing with grief, and learning to live without an eye. Great book to end this series.

The Stone Family Treasure

The story of Hunter and Cheryse is wonderful. Be sure to have plenty of tissues handy. There are a lot of tears and laughter involved in the reading of this book. The grief, pain, and heartache are so vivid. I maintain that when an author can bring all of these emotions to the reader through the written word they know their trade well. Hunter has suffered major loss. Cheryse still has the ghost of her first marriage haunting her. Will they ever be able to see they only need each other?

I certainly didn't expect to happen what happened in this book. I thought Hunter was being a jerk at the beginning. He was hurting pretty bad about what happened to him as a seal. Then the accident happens involving the woman he loves & that finally gets him out of his grumpy, feeling sorry for himself mood. Then there is the ending about the treasure which is the logical thing to happen with the treasure but I didn't expect it. I loved this story. I received an ARC. This is my voluntary review.

Hunter Loses Trent

Trent is the older of fraternal twins. Hunter is the baby of the legendary Stone family. Both are Navy Seals stationed in Afghanistan. Trent saves Hunter. A few minutes later there is an explosion right where Trent has been working forward. How can Hunter survive without Trent? Taylor Hart has written another intense romance that's not a romance between old friends Hunter and Cheryse. And of course, there is always the gold that the Stones have been hunting for years.

This was the first of the series that I read, although perfect to read as a standalone it would definitely be better to read the series in order to get to know the other characters in the book (the siblings and spouses). Reading the last book also made the heartache of the story much less of a "talking point" to the reader. A clean romance, with a good measure of suspense and a wonderful life lesson that the siblings were reminded of.

*I received an ARC copy of the book for an honest and voluntary review.

The Stone Family Treasure: South Port Beach Romances

You know you are really invested in a series when you ‘ugly cry’ over the happy and sad parts of a story. Have read other delightful series by Taylor Hart, but this one really got me over-the-top emotional. Authors do that! Make the characters so believable or relatable that you binge read to know all the latest news about love interests or what the latest threat is from an enemy. Would recommend this series to anyone that likes their romances clean and wholesome with heaps of interesting plots.

This Stone family book will pull out all of your emotions. It takes you on a roller coaster of feelings and you won’t be able to put it down. Hunter and Cheryse have always been close friends and had to work through a lot in their story. The Stone family is just as strong and loving in Hunters story as they have been in the other books. Together they show that with family and God you can get through anything.

Such a great conclusion to the Stone family. This book has me close to tears while reading as I truly have come to love this family. Hunter’s story is like no one else’s, except for of course, the love. This story will having you wanting to know the end, and be unable to put it down until you so. The Stone family proves once again that no matter what, they are always there for each other and that family comes first.

Fabulous Finish

The Stone Family Treasure is a fabulous finish to the Stone siblings romances. Hunter gets his girl (no real spoiler there😉) and… hmmm… how to say anything else WITHOUT a spoiler??? Well, the Stone family and their friends learn that their true treasure is found in God and the blessing of their growing family. #NoSpoilers! I love this series and can’t wait for the next one!

There is so much heartache in this story with Hunter and his twin Trent being in love with the same woman Cheryse but she chooses Trent. After he dies Hunter returns to the military and she gets into a relationship with Roger who is a nice guy but he does not hold her heart. Hunter is the man that does but he is always in harms way with the military until he gets injured and release and comes home. What will happen now that Hunter is home for good?

Hunter is a tough Navy Seal going through some life changing events with some serious injuries. Reese is his long time best friend but she is nearly engaged to another man. This final book in the South Port Beach romance series has angst and joy. It also has a great romance and lots of action. Great ending to a fun series with a fun set up to start a new one.

This is a great ending to the Stone Family series. It was very well written and easy to follow as long as you have read all the previous books in the series. It had me crying throughout the whole story and laughing at times even. Taylor, I definitely love the ending. It was what I was hoping for and made for a good read. I wouldn't have liked it otherwise. Thanks for that.

Does the Stone Family Find the Treasure? I can always count on Taylor Hart for a good read. However, I am sad that this is the last book in this series. The Stone family captured my heart. I am pondering a couple of sentences from this story. "You can't control what life gives you, all you can control is what you're grateful for." And " We all walk through our own Gethsemane."

the Stone Family

Oh my I say this is the best book when I was reading each one. This series is amazing. Wow, I don’t know if I would have been able to live through what this family went through for so so many years. Thank you Taylor Hart make each book come alive and like each one could easily be your next door neighbor.

The final in the Stone Family series does not disappoint. There is so much emotion in this story. It was such a tearjerker. I love this families story. Hunter and Cheryse's story is of young love but still being there years later. So much happens and the way this book starts is so emotional. I just can't find the words to express how great it is. So good!

Having a family full of twins, I can totally empathize with Hunter over losing his twin. Although from a military family I’m sure neither ever dreamed of one of them dying. Taylor Hart draws you into her stories. I will admit to binge reading and even rereading her series. I now feel like the Stone family are old friends and can grieve with them. I love the dynamics of the families. She doesn’t make them all sweetness and light because that isn’t how families are. I’m going to miss them.

This particular book "The Stone Family Treasure" was, in my opinion, a not so good ending to the South Port Beach Romance series. The last part of the book was cheesy by all standards of the definition and hard to finish to the end. As difficult as it seems DO get to the end because Taylor Hart did a great job setting up the cliff hanger into the next series Cross Creek.

Great ending

I was stunned at the beginning of this book, but loved the way it ended. Throughout the series the main story was the siblings were the treasure to their parents and family.

I read this book basically straight through. It was pretty difficult to read compared to the previous books because of the soberness hanging over it all and the pain. It was really good and has me hanging on for the next installment.

Perfection

This is my favorite Stone Family book so far. It displayed all the Stone family strength while laying their vulnerability out there too. I’m putting this one on my re-readable list.
