Wow what a journey and such a great read for all three stories. This is the first tind I've read anything my Kait Nolan, but it won't be the last because I've really enjoyed reading these three stories.
All three are the road taken and evolving from friends to lovers and what an absolute joy to have read these gorgeous, amazing and lovely stories, with three different takes on friends to lovers:
Maggie and Porter. Well, I wasn't expecting to cry with this one, but a heartbreaking part of this just brought it too close to home. I really liked this one, the characters were amazing - especially the sisters.
Caleb and Emerson and their age gap romance (Emerson being the older) I loved that this was a somewhat continuation from Bring it home as Caleb is Porter's foster brother.
Liam and Riley, a veteran returning home to find his little sister's/his friend is a lot more than just a friend. Loved it so much and especially when there is military envolved.
Apart from the whole romance between the leading characters, the banter, the chemistry and the love, I really enjoyed that the three stories each has a different take on "problems" that might occure in the real world, whether this being sexual harrasment, coping after loss or becoming the adult long before you should. This only gives each other characters a more real vibe, just like I love that some of the main characters are foster children - it's not something I really read until now and I love that they have their happy ending, when I know that there are many children out there who never will.
