Solace in Seven
Fresh off a breakup and mending a broken heart, Cassidy Stokes has sworn off all men from now until the hereafter. Now as the only single gal on what was supposed to be a couple's getaway with her girlfriends and their men, she decides to use her time on the island of St. Martin to reconnect with herself. After all, self-love is the best love. Good Book
Cassidy thinks she has bad luck with men. She doesn't she just didn't have the right man until Hendrix. Hendrix wanted Cassidy since they were younger. Cassidy and Hendrix are good together.

Alright now K.L! I know it is a novella and all, but damn that ending! Imma need a solace in six months or something! 😂 Both Cassidy and Hendrix took this trip to help cure the demons they were both facing. But, when these childhood enemies saw each other and clashed, the fireworks began! Never really understood why they didn't get along, but it seemed Miss Cassidy has just always been mean for the hell of it! However, once they were forced to spend time together, their chemistry was hot hot! They both seemed to be the missing piece in each others lives, but what happens now? Hendrix was not trying to hear what Cassidy was talkin' bout! He claimed her period! I hope there is more to come, cause they was just getting started! Good read! 👍👍👍

Short but sweet and sexy

This was a really good novella that built off of the past of the 2 main characters Hendrix and Cassidy. The fact that these two people had known each other since they were little and randomly met up again makes the fast pace from 0 to everything much more believable.
I enjoyed both of these characters. Hendrix as a jaded and tired NBA player and Cassidy as soft ware engineer who is dealing with a recently failed relationship are both a mess for different reasons. But, they somehow find solace and understanding in each other. I liked them together, too. They didn’t take no mess and their interactions were hilarious.
And, honestly, if the prologue doesn’t suck you in, then this isn’t the book for you! Happy reading!

Although Cassidy and Hendrix knew each other, they acted like they hated one another. Cassidy getting over a broken relationship and Hendrix being traded left both of them needing a break. They end up on a vacation, same fligsame resort & ultimately ended up in the same suite. After a week together,they finally realized they were for one another. The chemistry was stifling. Good read just wanted more!

This was an all around good read!!! Whew chile Cassidy ex is a whole mess! How he go from being her man, to go visit family, to coming back with getting his ex pregnant??? Now Hendrix on the other hand was a whole vibe.. Grown man... I enjoyed reading how their love developed including all the spiciness!!!! Loved it!!!

The author delivered again! I loved everything about the story. Cassidy and Hendrix were a sexy combination. Their chemistry was explosive and when I got to the end I wanted more. This author is now on my one click list. I absolutely love her works.

Cassidy Stokes and Hendrix Croft can’t stand each. Don’t even want to breathe the same air or seats on a plane. So one can only imagine what’s going to happen when they’re forced to share the same resort accommodations.
Cassidy and Hendrix, had me laughing out loud. I absolutely adore them and can’t wait for book two.

I wish it was longer! I knew it was a novella before I started. It was so good I wanted more. Likable characters, great dialogue, passionate sex.....Such a good quick read!

Solace (v.) to alleviate or relieve
K.L. Hall did not disappoint with Hendrix & Cass's whirlwind getaway. From the first word, to the last scene I was entranced with the emotional and physical (😏) restoration that Cass found on the island. Fate is a funny thing, we all know it's there waiting for us to risk —or lose it all. The all being what we thought we wanted. But when it actually comes, we protest it, fight and run from it 'til we're blue in the face. I'm hoping this becomes the prelude and K.L. Hall blesses us with more of Hendrix and Cass because there thing felt like much more than rebounds and alleviation. It felt like soul ties and elevation. Even if this is it, I'm grateful for the hour I spent as a fly on the tropical fruit, watching love unfold naturally and without much force.
