I purchased this book originally as gift for my youngest daughter for her baptism, and decided to do some daily readings from it for Lent --- which turned out for me to be a real blessing during this time.

I found this to be a delightful book. It has wonderful stories that describe well, but briefly, the key points and the high ones of each saints life. The illustrations and layout of the book is very well done. This is an excellent book that can interest a wide range of age groups, both children and adults alike. I have learned much about many of these wonderful men and women of God that I didn't know about before, my little girl enjoys it when I read stories of their lives before bedtime, and it's a good conversation starter when my older kids and I do Bible study.

I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a good book for young Christians and for anyone desiring to know more about some of the great men and women of Christianity.

Absolutely delightful - while my youngest is in his mid-twenties and I read it all for me, I loved the way that each saint was placed in historical context, a map was included. there was a good hagiography plus interesting facts. Well done and a resource to refer to often.

Absolutely phenomenal book for all kids of all ages-- and even adults! This comprehensive reference book did such a good job summarizing the lives of each of the 101 saints featured. I believe the book featured an even distribution of genders, vocations, and countries in the saints mentioned. More importantly, they had an even distribution between the Oriental Orthodox saints and the Eastern Orthodox. As a Copt, I appreciated the representation greatly.

Not only is the written content phenomenal, but its greatness is only compounded by the superb illustrations throughout. Each saint picture seems like a modern-day icon, where the life of the saint can be "read" by observing the image. Each page is so bright and colorful, it's hard to flip to the next page.

Thank you to AF for making such an awesome book so accessible to all! I would recommend this book wholeheartedly.

This book focuses on prominent and modern orthodox saints and older western saints we share with the latins which is great as an American orthodox family of western European heritage because it our patron saints. Really nice book. My 3yo enjoys it. It includes timelines and maps so there’s added history and geography lessons to be had.

I hesitated to list this as a children's book. It is so informative that it is fascinating to adults as well.

The authors have taken 101 Orthodox Saints and given information about them to include life story, pictures, facts about them, a map to show where they lived. The saints are listed in alphabetical order in the book and in the index so you can quickly find who you are looking for. There are a list of vocations of the saints and a list of the feast days by month in case you want to find if there is a saint for today in the book. A time lie with pictures of the saints lets you see at a glance when they lived in relationship to each other. At the end of the book is a glossary as well as an extensive index.

I can't think of a more user friendly book on saints to help stir one's interest.

I highly recommend this book to anyone of any age with an interest tin Orthodox Saints. Hoping for another book like this!

One of the best things you can do when learning about a new subject is look for books that are marketed for kids. I knew nothing about Orthodox saints and wanted a quick overview, this coffee table size book was perfect. Highly recommended if you want to learn about them.

This is a really good book to help get a little info on different Orthodox saints, especially if you’re like me and my family who are in the process of becoming Orthodox. I will definitely be reading 102 Orthodox Saints at some point!

Great for introducing kids (and you!) to 101 saints. Looking forward to their new book, 102 "new" saints.
