I have always been fascinated with reading about the personal lives of people during WWII - especially on the homefront. I often wondered how so many marriages managed to survive the years spent apart. Faith in the plans God had in store for them, nearly daily letters such as the ones exchanged by this couple, and a firm commitment to a lifetime together is the central theme.
