Spellbinding stories

Genuinely gets better each book you read , honestly wasn't sure at first but I soon got into them and after that I just devoured the rest of the books , fascinating storylines centering around Charlie , a single mom struggling to get over her divorce and find peace with who she truly is - a psychic and a witch , by day she works in a call centre but in her free time she likes to use her abilities to help others much to the anger and annoyance of her ex husband and father of her son ,Scott , but Charlie is not alone anymore she has her wonderful family to count on , uncle Jack , Aunt Evangeline and cousins Jen , Lisa and Daphne who all have their own abilities, not to mention the whole cast of characters that become an integral part of the storyline as each book develops. Brilliantly written books that draw you in and hold you're attention as if you're under a spell .

Books 1-6, amazing stories of the witches of Palmetto. Charlie is a strong, smart and is learning to take her special senses more serious. Recently divorced, has an 11 year old son Evan who is just like his mother.
Charlie, her 3 cousins: Jen, Lisa, & Daphne and their aunt Evangeline all work together to solve cases with the local police.
I could go on and on but don’t want to give too much away. Each story is different and there are ghosts, a reaper and more. I definitely would recommend.

It makes you wonder, are there powerful witches among us?

The settings and characters in each book are so normal acting, until something bad happens. Then as a family, or coven, who believe in doing good, they step up. Each book has at least two major stories mixed into the tale. I enjoyed all of them but the last one. The last one delved into 50's social mores. The worst part was a known ally who had a sudden reversal. The person's pride seemed to be more important than a human life. And then there is Ruby a headstrong six year old who insists on doing as she wants. Top that off with adults who don't discourage her or really explain why some actions are wrong to the point of dangerous.

Good series

IT's a bit hard to review six books in one, but I can talk about the series as whole. It seemed to be the standard trope of a divorced psychic hooking up with a cop so she can help him with his cases,as soon as she gets him to accept that magic is real. Instead we have them moving on to other relationships, even her ex has shown character development. The family is delightful, and while they show different talents,,: mediumship, glamour, location,, etc.,they aren't restricted to 85- like one super power . I look forward to reading stories where the other witches may be the central character. This gives the series far greater scope.

I loved the character and world building. Supernatural crime/mystery solving, plus a bit of romance to add some flavor and spice. I’m happily working my way through all the remaining books in the series. The only reason this doesn’t get five stars is editing issues: there are multiple typo, grammar, and continuity errors through all the books. The worst issues are when there are missing words or continuity errors so that you’re popped out of the story and left to wonder what the heck the author meant or flipping back a few pages to check on something said previously.

Loved this!

So, I read book 1 through Kindle Unlimited. I got to Book 5 only to find out there was this book bundle. I loved this series so much, rather than continue through Kindle Unlimited, I bought the book bundle; and now.....onto Book 9!!! Yes, I bought books 7, 8 and 9, and I know I am going to fish buying the rest of the Haunting Charlie series. They get better as each book goes on!!

I must be under a spell

Excellent stories!

These exceptional stories are the kind that can't be put down! They are exciting and riveting! The cousins all have different skills that sometimes need to be combined. Nonbelievers aren't always persuaded about what is real. There are sometimes things that come between the witches and humans that are hard to accept. Fifth star with held for numerous errors.

Great series!

I really loved this series and I loved the characters! However I don't know if it's the transition to a digital book or lack if a proof reader but there are irritating mistakes like words left out or duplicated, odd capitalization, a few misspellings. Great writer though!

Great series, great storytelling!

Love the characters! The family and their unusual partners create an enjoyable and clever background for multiple mysteries in this book bundle. A bit of rough language is used, but otherwise a clean read without graphic sex or violence. Looking forward to more!

East Read and Enjoyable

This series was an easy read and I enjoyed how Charlie grew as a person and how she became to embrace her powers. The stories left a little too much to the imagination. I would have preferred a little more background on the victims they found. Other than that I recommend these books.

Really enjoying Wendy Wang’s writing and love these characters. I inhaled this box set and am now on book 7. WW is up there with my all time favourite authors. I love the way Charlie’s magic is progressing and we are now at a point where she is on par with her cousins in terms of knowledge of her own unique talents.

so good

I really enjoyed the first six books of this series. They were scary, funny, and the family dynamics were so like mine but without the magic. I hope there is another box set with 7 thru whatever. I will continue to read more Wendy’s books. I am so glad I found you and will recommend you to others. Good job!

Witches of Palmetto Point

I was pleasantly surprised. This has been a well written, interesting series. Good characters, good plots, good mysteries. Just enough paranormal to be interesting without being overboard to the point of boring. Hopefully the rest will continue in this vein, as it make sense wonderful series. Good job!

Enjoyable read Books 1-6

I’ve enjoyed getting to know all the characters in the series. The story is interesting, a mystery, more than one story going on, with a paranormal element I enjoy without it being very dark. Light-hearted. Good energy. A warm connection between the family of characters. (Michele D.)

very good

This is an intriguing series very different than some of the other witch styled stories. The relationship between the family and others keep you turning pages to see how it all works out.

Good read!

If you like stories about the supernatural, strong women, strong family bonds and mysteries of all types, you will enjoy these books. None of those annoying changes in story history in the middle and good editing. Very enjoyable.

This series is amazing! The characters and their gifts are well thought out and broad. Each of them have a specialty and together they create an amazingly well rounded family coven. If you love the first book in the series, you'll love them all!

A Pleasant Long Read

I was considering getting one of these books for a while, but I was able to read the whole set in one, why not? The author explained each story after the book was finished, which was nice and each one was a quick read. All in all, I liked quite a lot.
