Hidden deep within the Castle of Ascendance are other Creation Mages. If I'm to save the Universal Magic, I need to find them. What I need to do with them isn't exactly fit for public consumption, but it's fundamental to who I am as a Creation Mage.
I just have to slip into the castle, disguised as a noble, and snatch four other Creation Mages. All while avoiding the eyes of the Queen and the Arcane Council.
This book was still really good, the story is still superb and thrilling. Full of adventure, mystery and action. The romance is also still on point. One thing though, the headmaster, Reginald is annoying. Dunno if anyone else feels that way but I find the man really annoying to the point of sighing 🤦🏽♂️. Sometimes I just wished he could be a upfront and honest without the games and smoke and mirrors. The book does leave you with more questions. I’m curious if he will hook up with Hagatha of the captain of the guard. Also, I wonder will his feelings change towards Acer now, as well as Mallory. Lots to ponder on lads! Onwards!
Always enjoy a good laugh, and even in the midst of battle and facing forces you can barely comprehend, Justing and friends have an unwavering sense of humour.
And when it looks like the end of the universe is night, you need to break into the most secure place in all the realms and fight a force you couldn't imagine existed... It's all in a day's work.
Looking forward to the next book. Looks to be one hell of a trip!
Another great outing in this series really glad to see the story still growing, rather than it winding down for a one book rushed conclusion as is often the case in this genre now. Also have to mention Reginald chaosbane is one of the best characters I read in a long time, really jumps off the page. Long may this series continue.
I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were interesting and engaging. Once I started, it was difficult to stop reading. I mean, people have to sleep. I'm looking forward to reading the next installment when it becomes available. This book is worth reading.
By book 8, you know if you like the premise or not. The plot speeds up a bit, new villains are introduced, magical battles ensue. It stays true to form - Justin has some struggles but you're never truly worried about the stakes. It's the book equivalent of the 80s action movies, with more drugs and sex.
The plot ruins just thin enough to let you see some light, then thickens into a whole different situation. This series is a lot of fun just growing with the characters, but it also has wonderful humor in it. The characters are so quirky and interesting that it is easy to keep your attention on what they are doing. Bring on Book 9.
Well once again Dante has topped his previous book and delivered a kickass new book to the series! Action, adventure, great characters and hot actions with a superb plot twist! I cannot recommend this series enough! Bring on book nine!
The heading gives it away. This series is seriously funny. A great mix of action, so dirty romance, an awesome plot and many many Kent's throughout where I am wiping tears out of my eyes I am laughing that hard. Bring on book 9 I say!
So Justin and the ladies are at it again. Off to see the Queen, off to free the other creation mages. Simple as can be, but when you're the creation mage and prospering war mage simple never happens. Onward to save universal magic and well the universe.
As always was great read story still progressing awesomely can't wait for more. I hope he figures a better aT to learn new skill running out spell slots sucks
And the adventure continues. Justin and his crew keep having to adjust as the enemies keep coming. The MC and his team are likable characters. Worth reading.
