I really enjoyed Kane, and visiting a small town again. This is the second book in the Sweet Southern Heat series, and can be read as a standalone.
Korie and Bennett are strong characters. Korie runs a coffee shop and writes reviews on her blog. She always finds something redeeming, which I can relate to. Bennett is the author of one such book, and he messages her, referencing her review. From there the bond builds, the banter is tossed back and forth, giving me a few laughs, and I loved watching their relationship bloom, before they even met in person. It may seem weird, but these kinds of things happen, I've seen it. Having that connection before meeting, can be powerful, and I felt that with these characters.
The chemistry was hot, and the characters were relatable. Another fun, quick read in this series, and I look forward to more from this author.
