An excellent series, well done!
Jack Hawthorne, snatched from his crashing jet and thrust into a fantastic world in the role of Tribe Master, has managed to increase his tribe from one freed slave to a holding power over four tribes with over a thousand people! His journey has been a pleasure to read, without the ( to me unforgivable sin) cheap gimic of a cliff hanger ending. Still, the story is interesting and evenly paced so each volume is complete and leaves the reader wanting to the next book. I buy each book so I can download the series when I'm on vacation without internet.

It feels like there was a long time between 5 and 6, but it was worth the wait. If you're considering this book, you've probably read the other 5 at some point. This picks up where book 5 ended and expands on the findings from Garrison's camp. New enemies are dispatched and we get a visit from Zagor the demi-god. Looking forward to seeing more adventures with Jack.

The plot continued to unwind in a totally unexpected way. New enemies New allies and then the plot twist at the end. Completely out of left field, from a few episodes back. Wondering were Layton will take the stow next.

What an amazing series!!!
A powerful and well written story as we have all expected from this author!!! A perfect blend of adventure, World building and great adult fantasy action!!! I for one can't wait to see what comes next!!!

Excellent Read!
This is an interesting and captivating series! Jack and his harem have defeated the Dark Elves but now face a new foe, sending hoards of undead to his lands. Action and adventure abound in this latest tale! Read this series you will enjoy it!

The writing style is simplistic, there's not a lot of character depth or background. But damn these stories are fun to read, light, teasing and enjoyable. If you're looking for something to take your mind off the world, I recommend diving into these stories.

Awesome book
I have read each book to number six and they keep getting better and better each book is continuing the story. I have enjoyed the series so far and watch book is better than the last one

Fascinating series
Written with the same pace and drama as other great writers such as Hondo Jinx. I can't wait to see what new direction this adventure is going to take

Fast paced
Hard to put down. A cliffhanger of an ending. I can't believe what Jack accomplished so far. And can't wait to see what is next for him.
