What better way to unwind from the stress of a family Thanksgiving, than escaping with an armload of Christmas cookies?

Hannah Christy was eager to head home and devour her treats in solitude, while doing some prep work for the promotion she was vying for. Those plans came to a screeching halt... along with the elevator.... trapping her inside with her sexy neighbor.

After being trapped with his match-making family over Thanksgiving, getting stuck in an elevator was a welcome reprieve for Gage Lawson.

If it was up to him, he would gladly stay stranded well into the new year. Especially since his neighbor has a whole treasure trove of ideas on how to pass the time. The best Christmas cookies he’s ever tasted. Delicious spiced wine. Fun getting-to-know-you games. It’s the most holiday merriment he’s had in a long while.

Somewhere in the midst of it all, Gage comes up with the perfect plan. A fake romance to help make both their family get-togethers more jolly! To his surprise, Hannah agrees to be his for the holidays. Yet with the mistletoe in full bloom, and her on his arm, Gage soon realizes their little Christmas show isn't enough. He wants her for real... and forever.

Roast the chestnuts and hang the stockings, Gage has a plan! With the help of the 55 and over residents, magical flurries, and a never-ending supply of hot cocoa with extra marshmallows, he’s determined to show Hannah that Christmas is the most wonderful time of year to fall in love.

His For the Holidays by Samantha Chase
Contemporary romance.
Hannah and Gage get stuck in their apartment building elevator during a local pier outage. They share wine, cookies and getting to know you stories. A Truth or Dare game has Hannah proposing that she be his date at a holiday event to prevent his family from trying to set him up.

An adorable new relationship story where family falls just as fast as the hero.
A perfect holiday romance with decorations, kisses and hot chocolate. And pajamas.
Very low heat level.
4.5

I listened to an audiobook version narrated by Elizabeth Cottle. She did a wonderful job making two distinct voices for the main characters and minor variations for others. Emotions came through the performance clearly. I listened to this at 1.3 which I found was the most comfortable conversation speed.

I received an audiobook copy of this book from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media. Opinions are my own.

While this was my first time reading Samantha Chase's writing, His for the Holiday definitely won't my my last! Lighthearted humor flows throughout the entire story, and this is one seriously feel-good romance.

While getting stuck in an elevator might not be a groundbreaking meet-cute, Hannah and Gage have terrific chemistry, and their mutual attraction is clear. These two are adorable, and I was plugging for their happily ever after from the very first page.

Interesting aspects of Hannah's personality come to light as she faces up to her work goals, and Gage has family drama which kept me chuckling. A very enjoyable holiday romance.

The audio version is performed by Elizabeth Cottle who's plucky, cheerful voice works perfectly for this story. There's a large cast of characters, and a wide variety of ages represented in His for the Holidays, and I'm impressed by Elizabeth Cottle's impressive range and skill. Well done.

thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for providing an audiobook copy of His for the Holidays, all opinions are my own

Samantha Chase’s His for the Holidays has all the feels—engaging characters, a fabulous meet cute, fast paced storyline and lots of Christmas cheer!
Interior designer Hannah Christy never imagined that she’d be trapped in an elevator with her sexy neighbor Gage Lawson. Or that they would share secrets and bond over tins of homemade cookies, bottles of wine and a laugh out loud game of truth or dare! Hannah’s life is turned upside down when she’s not offered a promotion; instead she’s been given a few weeks off and her consolation prize is a small out of state project. Not what she was expecting…. At All.
Gage Lawson is a swoony hero—in fact he’s one of my favorite Samantha Chase characters. With his camel color coat, perfectly styled hair and handsome face—he’s what dreams are made of! And he can cook! One of my favorite lines in the book is when Gage invites a devastated Hannah for waffles—“Waffles make everything better. Trust me.”
Hannah agrees to spend the holidays with Gage and his family. Loved Gage’s family—his over the top matchmaking sisters and Mom added so much warmth and laugh out loud moments to this novel. Loved the holiday competition at Gage’s mom’s over 55 community—it was fierce!
Loved the Hallmark feel of this novel – the tree trimming parties, hot cocoa, sledding and snow! It really got me in the Christmas spirit. Samantha Chase incorporates several unexpected plot twists which raise the bar in this story. The couple’s journey wasn’t easy—with Hannah’s career crisis and Gage’s matchmaking family—that made me root for their Happily Ever After!

Hannah and Gage’s story captivated me when she offered Gage a homemade cookie! His For the Holidays is a must read for this holiday season! Grab a mug of hot cocoa and add lots of marshmallows (and maybe a cookie or two!) and enjoy this sweet romantic holiday novel!

It's no secret I’m a fan of this talented lady's work, but this book? Gah! I don’t know if it's the Christmas theme, the epic meet cute, or the colorful and unforgettable characters, but it all works together to make the perfect reading escape during a crazy busy time when we desperately need an occasional escape.

The hero and shero being stuck in an elevator may border on a cliché meet cute, but not when it's Hannah and Gage. They really don’t quite know what to make of each other, but a little wine and some Christmas cookies give them the chance to really get to know each other over a few hours.

Which is why Gage thinks it's a great idea to ask Hannah to act as his fake girlfriend during a Christmas visit to his family. It's all he can think of to get them to quit parading a bevvy of single girls in front of him hoping one will stick and the last of their family will be coupled up.

But we all see where this is going, right? The fake becomes real, making for a bit of awkward, a lot of humor, and some sweet and tender moments that masterfully manipulate the reader’s heart. Since Hannah is planning to take a job out of state, the fake has an expiration date, no matter how real it's becoming.

And that's the thing about Chase's writing. She can take tired old tropes, turn them on their head, and make them something new and captivating and amazing. I dare say this is her best work to date, because the humor is laugh-out-loud funny at times, Hannah and Gage are so compelling and relatable, and their story is the most delicious emotional ride without being contrived or over angsty. Find a quiet place (threaten the family within an inch of their lives, if necessary) and settle in for an epic Christmassy escape that will make your romantic heart eternally grateful.

AUDIO REVIEW
This is my favourite time of year and I love Christmas romances and His for the Holidays is a magical holiday read, it was everything I have come to expect from the very talented Samantha Chase.
Elizabeth Cottle is a new narrator to me but she did a wonderful job bring the characters and their support to life. Her narration has really put me in the mood for the upcoming holiday season and I look forward to listening to more from her.
Gage Lawson and Hannah Christy meet when the lift they are in breaks down and that’s when the fun begins. There’s nothing like an enclosed space to have you confessing your problems and what is expected of you in the upcoming holiday season and Gage decides he needs a fake girlfriend to stop his family setting him up with all their neighbours and friends.
Hannah has no plans for Christmas so this plan sounds like fun but what will happen when feelings come Into play and what will happen when Hannah finds herself not only falling for the man but also falling for his family……
This is a magical read that’s sweet and charming, it has wonderful characters that you can’t help loving and it’s a story that will certainly add some holiday cheer and put you n the mood for Christmas. Wonderful read that I highly recommend.

Gage is dealing with a nosy meddling family, with his mom and sisters doing everything in their power to set him up with all the single girls, hoping he will meet the one and settle down. As the holiday approaches, he's dreading all the set ups on the horizon. Right before the holidays, he ends up getting stuck in an elevator with Hannah, one of his neighbors, and they concoct a plan to fake date to get his family off his back.

Hannah is all on board with this fake dating, she's leaving soon for a new job, but decides to lean into it and enjoy all of the "perks" of fake dating.

This was a swoon worthy fake dating romance, low in spice. I'd give it 🌶️ a to 🌶️🌶️ out of 5 on the #spiceometer Scenes fade to black and their is no dirty talk. I thought it was a perfect balance.

A fun light hearted romance, perfect for the holidays.

💝His for the Holidays de Samantha Chase

Argumento:

HIS FOR THE HOLIDAYS by Samantha Chase is a stand alone, contemporary adult, romance story line focusing on twenty-eight year old, interior designer Hannah Christy, and communication analyst for cyber security Gage Lawson.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Hannah and Gage) HIS FOR THE HOLIDAYS follows the fake relationship between Hannah Christy and Gage Lawson. A broken elevators finds our couple meeting for the first time, commiserating about family expectations and the upcoming holidays. Desperate to avoid another holiday where his mother and sisters set him up with neighbors and friends, Gage asks Hannah to be his pretend girlfriend for the holiday season. Having learned of some disappointing news at work, Hannah makes plans to move on, without looking back. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Hannah and Gage, and the potential fall-out as their time together comes to a close but Gage is hoping for something more.

Hannah Christy doesn’t have plans to go home for the Christmas holidays, and Gage’s offer comes on the heal of losWith nothing better to do, Hannah agrees to Gage’s proposal but continues to struggle with her stalled career. Meeting Gage’s large extended family finds our heroine enjoying the holidays more than she could have ever imagined but Hannah has no plans to stick around, and our heroine does what she does best, she runs.

The relationship between Hannah and Gage begins as a fake relationship that quickly turns into something more. Gage’s mother and sisters take advantage of Hannah’s visit, leaving a frustrated Gage in their wake. Spending time together means taking their relationship to the next level but Hannah is quick to remind Gage that they are not a forever kind of relationship. The $ex scenes are mostly implied or fade to black.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Gage’s siblings and their mother, and friends and neighbors preparing for the upcoming holiday.

HIS FOR THE HOLIDAYS is a sweet and charming holiday story. The premise is entertaining; the romance is captivating; the characters are desperate and determined.

This one was super cute! A little too cheesy but I love a good hallmark moment! The chemistry between Hannah and Gage is just too cute! I love them together. This book has a little bit of everything, stuck together trope, fake dating, and a happy ending!! Would definitely recommend this one as a cute Christmas romance!

Samantha Chase’s His for the Holidays was a quick, no angst, small town Christmas romance filled with love, family and humor. Gage and Hannah’s story starts off with a meet cute in the elevator where they get to know each other and chemistry sparks between the two. They embark on a fake relationship to not face their respective families during the holidays.

This story was so cute and I loved Gage and Hannah’s characters. These characters were believable and their connection was intense. I was complete invested in their story and the narrator really brought this story and characters to life.

You’re probably thinking that if you have read one fake dating relationship trope, you’ve read them all. Let’s face it, this is a common plot device in many romance novels and some are definitely better than others. This is one of the better ones. Can you imagine anything worse than finally making it home after a Thanksgiving holiday with your family, you’re tired, the trip was long and the last thing you want is to make chit chat with anyone. You want to get yourself and your suitcases up to your apartment where you can shower, unpack and relax. Instead, the elevator doesn’t cooperate and you find yourself stuck inside with your very attractive and sexy neighbor. With nothing but several hours of waiting to be rescued ahead of them, Hannah opens up the cookie tin and bottle of wine and begins to get to know her neighbor, Gage.

This story was very charming. Being trapped in an elevator doesn’t sound like a lot of fun, but it gives Hannah and Gage the opportunity to get to know one another better and they learn a lot about each other’s lives and families. Hannah is skipping spending Christmas with her family because she is working hard on a presentation that will hopefully win her the promotion she has been vying for. She feels inadequate around her family because her sisters are both doctors and she works in interior design. Gage is dreading spending Christmas with his family because of their relentless matchmaking. Over a bottle of wine and several delicious Christmas cookies, he suggests that they pretend date to get his family off his back.

It becomes obvious very quickly that neither one of them can keep up the charade and the line between keeping up appearances and falling in love gets more difficult to see. I really liked Hannah and Gage and thought they had the perfect chemistry and enjoyed seeing it all unfold.

In all honesty, I didn’t have a lot of anticipation about reading this book because of the fake dating relationship trope. This is my second least favorite plot device after adultery because I feel relationships are hard work already and starting a relationship with a lie for any reason just doesn’t sit well with me. This story, however, flipped me on my head because the fake relationship was never fake and nobody was lied to as Gage falls hard for Hannah and has to figure out how to convince her that she feels the same way and Christmas is the most magical time of the year and miracles are all around them.

The author does an amazing job of giving us characters that are likable and easy to relate to. The story is well paced and despite my initial reservations, I quickly became immersed in the story, the characters and the location where Gage grew up.

My Final Verdict: Overall, this charming story would be an excellent choice for readers who crave Christmas themes during the holiday season as I do. This story will make you smile and feel all the feels. Grab those Christmas cookies and a glass of spiced wine, eggnog or cider and snuggle down in front of the fireplace with this book for several hours of Christmas cheer happiness.

When Hannah Christie and her handsome neighbor, Gage Lawson, get trapped in an elevator when Hannah is returning home from Thanksgiving, sparks fly between the two of them. Hannah regrets that nothing can happen between the two of them because she will be so busy with the promotion she is about to get at work. When the promotion falls through, however, she is surprised to find herself agreeing to be Gage’s fake girlfriend for the holidays to get his family to stop trying to set him up with women. Gage quickly realizes, however, that having her for the holidays isn’t enough; he wants Hannah in his life forever. Can he convince her that they belong together for real?

This was a sweet, fluffy romance with most of the physical activities taking place “off screen”. All the characters in the book were likeable (with the one exception of the workplace villain), and you couldn’t help but root for the couple to find their HEA. The descriptions of the cookies they were making made me want to go whip up a batch of my own hot chocolate cookies. This is a delightful escapist Christmas read.

Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an audio ARC of this book.

This is another beautiful holiday story filled with sweet love, heartfelt family and a bit of humor by the always amazing Samantha Chase. Our heroine, Hannah, is having a rough start to the holidays. Stress from work issues and a few of her insecurities. A delicious meet cute has her stuck in the elevator with her new hunky neighbor. But thanks to her quick thinking wine and cookies save what could be a disaster in the making. While being stuck, Gage and Hannah learn so much about each other and the sparks begin. Both are not looking forward to the holidays with their families so a plan is hatched to save them both. A fake relationship is the perfect solution and they’re off on an adventure that’s full of of laughs, crazy antics and the start of a swoon worthy romance. This is a fabulous quick read that wonderfully entertaining with its low drama and a heart melting couple in Gage and Hannah. Loved it! 4.5 stars

Small town Christmas books are my jam and this one did not disappoint!

If there's one thing I know, it's that Samantha Chase gives good small town romance. This one is a fake relationship trope centered around Gage and Hannah not wanting to face the holidays with their respective families. Hannah doesn't want to go back home and deal with her family full of drs and Gage is tired of his family trying to set him up.

They live in the same building and end up stuck in the elevator for hours, getting to know each other.

This was an easy, sweet ( and a little steamy) holiday romance that I read in 1 day!

If you're looking for a quick, no angst Christmas themed romance set in a small town, this is the perfect book.

There's also a bonus teaser of Christmas in Silver Bell Falls at the end of this book!

I received an audiobook ARC of this book from NetGalley. I really enjoyed this book. It gives you that Hallmark holiday movie feeling, with the meet cute, fake dating, and insta-love. I wanted to give it 5 stars but it didn't really excite me like a 5 star book does. I got a little annoyed with the main characters because they both kind of jump to conclusions about how the other might be feeling and I found it frustrating. But the writing is really good and it does give me the cozy holiday vibe!

Get ready to laugh, smile, and giggle like a school girl because Samantha Chase has outdone herself on this one! I was laughing from the start over Hannah's song in the mailroom, to many moments throughout. While being stuck in an elevator is a big fear of mine...this book made it seem enjoyable. I don't know how, but author Samantha Chase has written so many books, and each one is different with its own story, characters, etc. They don't feel like the same book. This was such a beautiful and fun read.

His For the Holidays will lift your spirits, make you laugh, gives you all of the butterflies of that first crush in highschool (with the heat of college, but it's not steamy). This story was so unique and fun, I haven't ever read a story where the main people meet in this way, and I LOVED it! You will NOT want to miss this one. I highly recommend it, it is so beyond sweet, you'll feel like you just ate an entire tin of cookies (minus the belly ache of course). So don't waste another minute, get this book RIGHT NOW. It is easily in the top 5 ever of Samantha Chase books.

His for the Holidays by Samantha Chase is a sweet holiday read. Hannah is working hard for the promotion that she was all but promised she planned to work through the holidays to perfect her presentation. Gage spent Thanksgiving with his mom and 3 sisters all of who were all trying to play matchmaker. So when Gage and Hannah got in the elevator together....... Getting stuck in an elevator together with no idea how long it would be.... In the course of their "Stay" they found out quite a bit about each other over cookies and wine. And so it was decided fake girlfriend/boyfriend for the holidays. A really enjoyable read with all the feels. I highly recommend it. Samantha Chase writes with lots of heart and of course a happy ending.

Looks life a perfect “Hallmark Movie” to me. Samantha brings us another beautiful Holiday story filled with love, family and humor. Meeting a new neighbor while stuck in an elevator can be a great intimate introduction, especially if it includes wine and cookies. Hannah’s holidays start with work related stress and some insecurities. Meeting Gage introduces her to a new way of thinking and a very loud family. Will Hannah find a new direction and is Gage part of that direction. You’ll have to read this wonderful story to find out. This filled me with the good feels of the holiday season. I have given my honest opinion for an Advanced Readers Copy.

Hannah Christy was looking forward to a promotion she was positive she earned. Unfortunately, life happens and things change. Hannah steps into the elevator at her apartment building when Gage Lawson rushes in before the door closes. Riding up to their apartments, the electricity goes out and they are trapped in the elevator. Little do they realize, their lives will never be the same. Add a little wine, Hannah’s mother’s delicious cookies, a matchmaking family, an apartment building filled with fifty five & older residents, and a fake romance, it makes for a surprising, happy romantic read for the holidays. Samantha Chase does it again. Fantastic book with lots of surprises along the way! Loved it!

ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion.
His for the Holidays is a heartwarming, funny, Christmas themed romance book that makes your time fly away.

Hannah and Gage live in the same apartment complex and didn’t exchange a word with each other until one day, after a long flight home from Thanksgiving break, Hannah finds herself trapped in the elevator with no other than Gage Lawson. And because they have nothing than an unexpected amount of time, delicious Christmas cookies and red wine, they begin to talk and a few days later Hannah pretends to be his girlfriend so his mom and sisters doesn’t force him to go out with other women.
But is their whole relationship really fake?

Hannah and Gage were wonderful characters. I loved their whole friendship and development not only between each other but also individually. There were a lot of funny and cute moments and I loved Hannahs kindness and willingness to help although she had other plans for the day.

If you are looking for a light Christmas romance with adorable characters that includes the tropes fake relationship and kind of forced proximity I would highly recommend this book.

I love forced proximity stories, but I was not expecting it to take place in an elevator. Actually, only the beginning was in an elevator. Hmmm. Stranded in a stuck elevator with a gorgeous, hunky guy and wine and cookies. It works for me, although I'm not sure I'd be drinking much wine if I didn't know how long it would be before I could go to the bathroom.

Hannah also agrees to be Gage's fake girlfriend for the holidays to keep his family from trying to set him up with every single woman within a one hundred mile radius. It seems to be working...but what if it starts to feel real?

A great, feel good Christmas romance with some steam thrown in at just the right level. A perfect book for the holidays!

I adored this book! There were laughs, swoons, and even some watery eyes. The author combined so much into one book, I just loved it. Gage and his family were a trip, and I just loved how he was not only with his family but with Hannah too. How easily they worked together. It's such a perfect holiday story!

The above was reading the ebook, I enjoyed reading it more than I liked listening. The audio was just okay. The narrator didn't bring enough to the book for me. Sometimes reading is better, and that was the case here.

Samantha Chase has done it again and has delivered another incredible romance with His for the Holiday, a wonderful holiday love story. Who does not love a forced proximity love story? I loved every moment on every page and could not put it down. Samantha Chase has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love how Samantha Chase always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy men. Samantha Chase continues to deliver all that and so much more. She has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. His for the Holiday did not disappoint; I could not put it down and loved every moment on every page. I enjoy how Samantha Chase writes from the perspective of the two main characters. That way you get to know what is going on in of their minds. His for the Holiday is a wonderful love story and is filled each with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud and the bittersweet moments that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments eyes filling with tears. His for the Holiday is filled with such moments, and with so much more. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a Samantha Chase love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. I love how she incorporated both the picture on cover and the title of the book, with a simple statement from Hannah, into the love story. His for the Holiday is the story of Hannah Christy and her upstairs neighbor, Gage Lawson. Hannah and Gage had seen each other around the apartment building where they both live. As they are both returning home from celebrating Thanksgiving with their families, the power goes out and they get stuck in the elevator. They survive on Christmas cookies, Hannah’s mom sent home with her and wine the apartment manager gifted her. Hannah and Gage share things in the elevator that they normally would not share on a first date. Hannah said it best, that they knew each other better than most people do after dating for several months. Gage proposes that they fake date, so that he doesn’t have to deal with his mother and sister’s match matching. Hannah is up for a big promotion at work, so she wasn’t sure if she could “fake date” Gage. Hannah did not get the promotion, but got time off, so she agreed to Gage’s proposition. As Gage and Hannah begin spending time together, and head to Evergreen to celebrate Christmas with his family, things quickly heat up between the two of them. As they spend more time together, they continue share secrets and dreams that they haven’t revealed to anyone. I love the chemistry between Gage and Hannah. Then an unexpected plot twist that changes everything that they had built with each other, and Hannah decides what she really wants in life. I love how Hannah decides to take matters into her own hands and creates the change she wants. I loved his proposal and where it takes place. My favorite part was Hannah’s Christmas present to Gage, the location of the gift exchange, and Gage’s mother’s involvement, I also loved how the book title is incorporated into the ending. I love the heart-to-heart conversations that Hannah and Gage have with each other and their families. I loved the story and am so glad that both Hannah and Gage got their happily ever after. I love all the surprises that Samantha Chase has included in His for the Holiday. My favorite part in the book is the epilogue and how it wraps up all the details of the happily ever after, and it did not disappoint. His for the Holiday contains all the elements that I have love most in a Samantha Chase story, romance, great characters and setting, bittersweet moments and the plot twist that ties it all together. Amazing story. I could not put it down. Highly recommend this holiday love story that starts because of forced proximity.

A great Christmas romance is one of my favorite types of romance to read, especially right before Christmas, and in my opinion, Samantha Chase is one of the BEST Christmas romance authors out there!! She just has it!! When I heard that Ms. Chase was going to release this book, I could not wait for it to hit my Kindle. I LOVED this book so much, I also purchased the Audible version, and I can’t wait to listen to the story as well.
Sometimes I really love when family meddle. This time, it was a blessing in disguise. You see, Gage asks Hannah to engage in a fake relationship to fool Gage’s meddling family for the holidays. But, as Gage and Hannah get to really know one another, feelings start to get more and more obvious to everyone but themselves. Which makes…Stop, I don’t want to give anything away. I will say it makes some people VERY happy.
I will not lie here; I am a HUGE Samantha Chase fan. I have loved her writing for many years. She just has a way of telling a story, making you see the romance in your mind after the proverbial door closes without stating everything that happens after that door closes. And don’t get me wrong, in my mind, those scenarios are HOT!! Ms. Chase just makes the story about the people, the romance between the couple, and she just does a great job. Hence, my love of her writing.
I was gifted with a copy of this book because of my eternal love of reading romance, and for my honest opinion of the story.
In my opinion, if you love a great romance novel, especially, a Christmas romance novel, do not wait, hit that purchase button from your favorite retailer right NOW!!! Do not wait!
Thank you for reading my review. And, if you love this book as much as I have, give your thoughts and opinions about this wonderful book, and write your own review. Authors really appreciate it when you do. Have a great day, and happy reading!!

Sweet, low angst, holiday romance. Hannah Christy gets trapped in an elevator for hours with handsome Gage Lawson. They live in the same apartment building. They spend hours getting to know each other eating cookies and drinking wine. After Gage laments having to spend Christmas with his matchmaking mom and sisters Hannah suggest bringing along a fake girlfriend. She isn't planning on it being her until circumstances make it happen. Passed up for a promotion she'd been planning on she goes with him to his family holiday celebration.

Of course they're attracted to each other and fall easily into a real romance. Intimacy is off the page. This is a stand alone, feel good romance that doesn't take a lot of thought. I've only read one other of Chase's many book but I will look for future books from her. I listened to this book and narrator Elizabeth Cottle does a great job voicing the characters. I was entertained and enjoyed the story. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Hallmark movie all the way.
This is the most cutesy book i've read in a while.

This book is "fast paced", really cute, and short! Simple and very christmassy.
I honestly would recommend this book as a hangover book, like to get read of bad thoughts. Its just very sunshine to me, and that to me is an A+.

The book follows Hannah and Gage, they are two whole adults working and living in the same complex..
Hannah and Gage face his family as a "fake couple" and they realized that they weren't just faking it.

This a typical cliche fake relationship, strangers to lovers with a meet-cute.
I loved it, but if you arent into that or looking for a deep book, this aint it for you.

Tropes: Fake romance. Holiday. Strangers to lovers.

romance: 4/5! their love language was cooking and being together!
Spicy: none. Don't expect any smut cause there literally was none.
