Fate always has a plan for us and I’m finally ready to own mine.
My destiny is spread out before me and like all things in life, I’m going to tackle it head on with fists and magic blazing. I couldn’t dodge this magical shitstorm even if I wanted to, and now, it just engulfed me, sucking me into this mystical world that’s starting to feel like my own.
The Elders expected to break me when they’ve only fanned the embers inside me into a roaring fire filled with a need for vengeance.
With my mates and my familiar at my side, nothing seems impossible. Even with all the obstacles in our way. Former enemies must become allies if we’re going to heal the rift between our communities. The question is, will we be able to unite the broken sides to defeat the Elders before it’s too late? Or are we all doomed?
I guess we’re about to find out.
My name is Sadie Sinclair, but you can call me the Shadowbringer, because I’m about to turn this world on its axis, bringing nothing but change in my wake.
Called by Fate is the third and final book in the Fates Mark series and will NOT end in a cliffhanger. Thank you for reading.

Not bad but I felt like the story could have progressed a bit more with the elders they basically did some stuff and then disappear for a bit and seemingly a ton of time passes.
Overall I did like the series it felt like a cross between Vice Demon College and Broken Bonds series had a baby and we have this. I like it. I liked the characters just wish was spent a bit more on some of the trials and tribulations.
Spice:3.5/5 - good but this is a heavier plot story. The scenes are great, though not extremely often which works perfect for this series.
SPOILER below but nothing major!
I loved this series. Through and through. I do wish the ending was more thoroughly wrapped up. We never actually see her uncle get killed, which is anticlimactic after the entire story. Also, we don’t get enough details for a good HEA story, but it was still a good ending. All of the loose ends we tied up and we arnt left with any pressing questions. This was a great series, and I highly recommend! I loved the overall dynamic of the group and them learning to all love her.
This was the end of this series. It was a crazy ride, and the beginning sucked! If you do not cry or shed some tears with the first few chapters, go back and reread it and cry like you are supposed to!
Sadie is a triad (night weaver, light weaver, and shifter) and she defeats the bad guys. Her and the guys survive, and they start the change where all species start to live together peacefully.
Harem: Reed (light weaver, king, book nerd, geeky), Vin (alpha wolf shifter, and amazing cook), Dante (night weaver, fire), Kaos (night weaver, healing), and Elian (night weaver, fear and shadows)
Mate bonds were completed, they built a safe haven, started a rebellion, bad guys died, good guys won!
Sexiness: 5 out 5
There was multiple POVs.
The ending was good and sweet, but I was hoping for more.
Writing this review is bittersweet because I'm so glad to be back in the weaver world, but sad to say goodbye (at least for now, thanks to the author teasing possible future series!)
I'm so happy I discovered Demi Warrik when I did, reading her writing is guaranteed fun from the moment you open one of her books! There are so many times I just hysterically burst out laughing at some of the things she comes up with. Called by Fate is the third and last in the series, and not only is each book hilarious, suspenseful and steamy, but you get the chance to watch her writing grow with each story. It's like you get to root for both the characters and author at once, which brings the book closer to my heart in the process.
I will always love Sadie, but this book somehow made me care for her even more. Here she had more lows than the rest of the series combined, and getting to watch her actually feel that pain and get stronger from it was something I've always wanted to see from her. She is a character far from perfect, and those imperfections are what make us love her.
Where Sadie might not be perfect, the author created one PERFECT and droolworthy harem. These guys are fantastic! They have very different personalities that suit different needs for the relationship, and Demi made sure each guy got their own time highlighted. And oh did these boys bring the heat to this story! 🥵
As the saying goes, I don't want to leave, but what a way to say goodbye. This was an excellent first series from start to finish, and I can't wait to see what she does next!
Called by Fate, the third book in the Fates Mark series by Demi Warrik was absolute perfection and the ultimate conclusion to an amazing trilogy and adventure of magic, fate and destiny and is a definite must read!!!
This story picks up (thankfully!) right where the tantalizing cliffhanger left us in Bound by Light, with Vin tragically dying from a knife to the heart, and immediately sucks you right in to it’s clutches and doesn’t let you go! With so many feelings and emotions, twists and turns, intriguing suspense and lots of steam this book was everything you could ever want it to be and more!
After suffering some fairly devastating losses, Sadie soon finds herself immersed in a new journey to reunite her “family”, all while trying to restore the entire magical world back to where it needs to be also by freeing the Weavers and shifters from under the tight reigns of the elders. What she gets is a journey of self discovery as secrets about her true heritage come to light and everything starts to become clear…
Needless to say Demi Warrik held nothing back in this final book and it showed! Full of heat, steamy chemistry, trusted sidekicks, a swoon worthy harem, long awaited connections and secrets revealed this book has it all! And the heat?!? Off the charts! 🔥🥵🔥
Overall if you’re a fan of paranormal RH romances full of non stop action, evil villains hell bent on reigning over the world, steamy sexy times, hilarious and heartwarming moments, tragedy and loss and of course lots of spunk and sass then this is the one for you! And while I’m sad Sadie and her men’s story is finally over, I’m beyond thankful for this magical world that Demi Warrik created!
A Fantastic and Epic Conclusion To an Amazing Series!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review
Such an awesome, amazing and addictive series. I was so not ready for this to end. I absolutely loved everything about it and am definitely looking forward to reading all of Demi’s future books.
This is the third and final book in this series and it started right where book two ended. With your heart torn out and an emotional wreck. I started this book in tears and ended the book in tears!! I won’t go into to many details because I really don’t want to spoil anything especially with the way book two ended and left us hanging for dear life, but I will say that those evil council members and her uncle finally get what they deserve, Sadie and Elian finally stop waiting for the other to make the first move and finally complete their bond. There will be an epic ending to this that includes peace between the different groups that also brings more true mate bonds, but with finally getting that peace and unity there was a huge amount of loss for them also. Even our favorite familiar gets a fantastic HEA too!!
This entire series is an absolute must read if you love bonded mates, Alpha Males, Strong Feisty Heroines and Talking Familiars. It really had all the feels to it and literally kept you on the edge of your seat thru the entire series. There was action, suspense, villains, heroes, and a whole lot more. JUST FREAKING AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this series!!
Called by Fate jumps right back in with Vinson dying from a knife to the heart. Sadie doesn’t get off easy when she insists on finding a way to save him. It’s actually quite the journey. It’s on the journey that Sadie learns her true heritage. Living up to the prophecy and saving the Weavers and shifters is not going to be easy. With the help of her mates and learning to completely lean into her intuition, Sadie has all the tools to save the day.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The ending of Sadie’s story is perfection! I’ve read a lot of series where the final book falls flat. Called by Fate delivers and then some! The last pieces of the puzzle are intriguing and even had some unexpected shocking reveals. Called by Fate is action packed. Demi Warrik does not hold back. Also, the actual ending is absolutely perfect. It definitely put a legit smile on my face.
Overall - I’m sad Sadie’s story is done, but I can’t think of a better way for her to be wrapped up. Well done Demi Warrik!
I loved this book! Actually, I loved the series. Demi knows how to capture her audience by amazing world building, character growth, with action in spades. I loved the multi pov, I absolutely loved how there was perfect balance between all the rotten stuff happening to the main characters vs the happy surprising stuff. I loved all the fmc men, she picked up friends along the way, while defending those weaker than others. The fmc was had the total Badassery vibe. She’s a bit stabby, knows her worth and grows so much from when she was introduced in the first book. There was a few things that I think could have been added to enhance to scenes especially with her awakening. I was waiting for her to bond with one of her mates while doing the deed… but that didn’t happen. That would have been a fun read but it didn’t go in that direction. I’m sad the series ended. This has got to be one of my favorite series.
Called by Fate is book #3 in the Fates Mark series. Its a paranormal reverse harem. This is the last book in the series.
After that epic cliffhanger in Bound by Light, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book!!! The final book in Sadie and her mates story is a wild ride and is an AMAZING ending to the series!
We pick up right where we left off on the night of the challenge, and its action filled from the start.
Sadie finds out her lineage, learns things about her past, bonds with her mates and plots how to bring down the Elders. Our girl gets stuff done in this book!
And her mates, ugh all of them are amazing and I love them all! The spice is for sure amped up in this book too!
Demi absolutely crushed it with this series! Its always gonna be in my top favorite reverse harems! This is a must read you guys!!!
Demi did it again & good lord was that ending perfect, especially after that cliffhanger in Bound By Light! Typically I would say spoiler alert, but I’m not saying ANYTHING except read book 1&2 in the Fate Marks series and then come back here and read this last one. What I will say is this story line along with the men (yes men- it’s paranormal RH 🥵), is just amazing. It picks up directly where the last book left off. In this book Sadie learns more about not only herself but her lineage and her bonds. At first when I started reading book three I was put back on edge with Vins situation, but in typical Sadie fashion she pulled through! By the end of the series I was thrilled everyone that deserved their endings got them, both happy and other wise🤗. I feel like I’ve said to much- JUST READ THE BOOK!
Wow....just wow, unbelievably wow!! This book was amazing, well this whole series was amazing..period!! But this book was perfection for being the last book in the series. This book starts out with a pow!! And, you are thrust right back into remembering the emotional rollercoaster from book 2 but, my oh my, Warrik has done such a great job with this plot that you are absorbed right from the start. The action, the adventure and let me tell you the romance are all hot. I love the bigger picture we get in this book, this includes what we find out about Sadie and what happens with the world around her. But we also get to know more about her mates, and I want to say more but I am just going to say that you really have to read the book....hehehe. I can say that you will not put this book down and the world outside this book will not exist, so enjoy!!
I have completely CONSUMED this series. It's got great world building, different pnr elements, spice, action, all of it.
Sadie grows into what she is destined to be in this book. There are so many things happening I could not put it down. You're thrown right back to the night of the competition and things just keep getting more intense as the end is coming.
As the end approached, I was on the edge of my seat, gripping my kindle, terrified about what was happening and what would happen. The end is fast paced, but you see if from many angles. I wasn't sure what the outcome would be and the last 20ish% was INTENSE!
I would love to see more from this world! If you love pnr books with lots of action, humor, fated mates and steam, you will love this one! Amazing, Demi!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I really liked this! Sadie was not only funny but a badass too. Her men were great, even if someone took a bit to get his head on right. Most of the relationships moved on a decent level, I think Kaos was my favorite bond though. Hemsworth was my favorite character of the series though 😂
Her transition into their world was a bit wonky, she was a bit too much of a ‘know it all’ for having never heard of Weavers before. She took the reigns pretty quickly, started bossing everyone around and they didn’t even balk at it, which was odd. I was hoping for a epilogue further out so we could see how life was after taking down the big bad andddd some babies of course.
This dragged on forever and by the half way mark, I just didn't care anymore. Nothing is really explained. There's no explanation for why Mickey did what he did, or joined the Elders, there's no explanation for why the Elders were untouchable (because they had random souls? Where'd they get them? What were the souls doing? What were they for?), there's no explanation for why the Elders wanted their power, or what Mickey's endgame was. Everyone was just evil to be evil, I guess.
I'm also annoyed that Sadie spent more than two books going on and on about how Elian was going to have to grovel, and really prove himself to her, only for her to drop her panties at the very first hint he might want to bone her. Boring.
Oh em gee, this is the perfect ending for Sadie and her mates! This book is a wildly emotional rollercoaster, with lots of spice and plenty of plot pulling it all together. There are so many revelations and surprises in this book, some of which have been hinted at in the first two books, but some that come out of nowhere - definitely keeps things interesting! We meet some new characters, some great, some less than great, and some who are undecided. The spice goes up several levels, which is saying something because the first two books were decently 🥵🥵🥵 I’m sad to leave Sadie and her world behind, but I’m hoping for some spin-offs, and I can’t wait to see what the author does next!
This book gives us everything we could want in the conclusion to the Fates Mark series!! There is some sad but also lots of happy (and certainly lots of spice!) Sadie learns some hard truths about her past but comes out stronger for it! She is such a kickass FMC! Her relationships with Elian, Vin, Dante, Reed, and Kaos deepen and I loved seeing how they came together to support one another against some pretty insurmountable odds. The fight scenes are absolutely fantastic. I was anxious throughout most of the book because I loved these characters so much! Demi Warrik has given us such an amazing series and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!!
This series ending was everything I wanted it to be and more! Seriously so sad to say bye to Sadie and the boys, but again the conclusion was done so well!
We start with my one true love Vin in a very serious situation! From there, it's one thing after another as things ramp up to the final battle with the Elders. There are still loads of twists and turns along the way, with love, forgiveness and battles!
Sadie has come so far in this series and it's so good to see where she ends up - no spoilers! All her mates are amazing - even Elian won me over in the end 😜 Plus the SPICE! OH BABY OH BABY! Just you wait till awakening time. You may need to hydrate.
Well done to Demi for this wonderful debut series! Can we have a spin off ASAP please 😘
I loved this series. It's definitely on my to be re-read list.
Kinda instalove reverse harem with a few twists. No ⚔️ though at times I was expecting it. Sadie is a complete bada$$ and her men ...'swoon'. I can't even pick a favourite among them. Kaos - the loyal healer, Dante the fierce yet funny one, Elian - the tortured bad boy, Reed - The 'shy' nerdy King and we can't forget Vinson - the chef werewolf with a huge heart. Seriously picturing them raises a girls temperature. All the supporting characters such as Hemsworth and Ash are just as well rounded.
I've joined this journey from the start. Enthralled by the tale woven by Demi. Sadie is awesome. This is book 3 and reading in order is a must to understand what is happening. The journey continues right after the cliffhanger from book 2. This was a ride for sure from book 1 to the third and it is everything with the HEA that we get. It is so good it had me smiling and clapping my hands. Yup, husband looked weirdly to me but worth it. You'll want to read this one for sure!
First off I absolutely love fated mates, reverse harem books. When I had the opportunity to read this as an Arc I jumped on it. This is book 3 in the series and the conclusion of Sadie’s story. I hated to see it end but I was happy with the ending. I loved how supportive Sadie’s mates were of her. I do wish we got to see more of her relationships grow. I am sorta hoping for a spin off of Emma and her mates. Overall if you love fated mates and reverse harems then I recommend this series.
This series was pretty good, I really enjoyed it. The characters were great, the plot was good, the spice was decent. I do feel like the ending was somewhat rushed, and I didn’t get all of the answers I wanted. However, I like that it was left open ended with the possibility of more in this world. I would love to see a spin-off for Emma and her circle, as well as more adventures for Sadie and her men. Love Hemsworth and the ending he got.
Oh no I ran out of story! Seriously a brilliant series with fantastic highs and lows. Luckily I read it after it was completed so I binge read the entire thing. I honestly don’t know which is my favourite main character though. Gutted that two of my favourite side characters died especially without any further mention as to exactly how, a little extra context would have been nice.
Called by Fate is the epic conclusion to this amazing series! Sadie and her circle, along with allies, are in for the fight of their lives and the world against the Elders. This book was filled with action, suspense, revelations, and will tug at your heart strings. I thought this was a fitting end to the series and would definitely recommend reading it!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I loved this final book. I've read book 1 and 2 on kindle unlimted to be up to date! But I love how this book was the final in this serie. I could relate to the characters, could see everything they saw and feel everything they felt. It's really nice to find a writer who can suck you in a story like that.
Thanks Demi for a truly wonderful ride. I hope you explore this world more as it is unique and deserves more stories. Good overall writing and endearing characters and thus I recommend for all those Shifter/which lovers. May the magic continue to flow in you Demi and keep the creative tank full 😃
I had so much fun reading this series! Sadie's monologue was a blast to read. The storyline and characters were interesting and along with that you get action and humor too. What else could you ask for? I would definitely recommend and I am looking forward to reading more by this author. Happy reading everyone!
I was addicted to this series from the first book. I loved Sadie’s character as she went through so much but handled it all with grace. Her five mates? 🤤🥵👏🏻💯 Yes please. Even Elian with his jerk ways 🤭 story building was FANTASTIC and the twist at the end was unexpected for sure! Definitely recommend!
