I am actually gutted that I'm finished these books!!! What a journey!

I picked up the first book because I had nothing really in mind to read and the cover looked ok (yes I'm sometimes a 'judge the book by the cover' kind of girl.... this was the best thing I've done in a long time. I was hooked from page 1 and as the chapters progressed I became an absolute addict, I devoured the pages, I lived and breathed them during the times I wasn't able to read (work, shopping etc)!

The wolves in this world aren't like other wolves I've read about, well their changing is pretty much on par but their instincts and reasoning are different. The unusual situation that the wolves and the tribes are in is also something I've not come across before and I loved the nail biting war that was in place - a game war, a war that took place every week and has done for centuries!

The history, as the books unfold, is somewhat fascinating but heart-breaking and I actually cried in places in all 3 books!

This final book was amazingly brought together, questions were answered and the ending was fabulous. Even though I did have a pretty good idea about the relevant ending, I wasn't totally sure how it was going to get there - I wasn't disappointed.

I haven't read a trilogy that has had me feeling like this in a long time and I absolutely applaud Kelly St Clare for her innovative and addict inducing way of writing, I am actually going to try anther series by her because of this one!

Highly recommended - definitely going to be a re-read in the future!!

DNF 11%. I couldn't get past her continuing to help the tribe to her own detriment. She was a SHITTY person to know that the wolves losing the game would essentially mean their death/extinction (as well as her own since she's now a wolf) but still actively work against them, WHILE LIVING ON THEIR LAND BC THE TRIBE (that she's willing to sacrifice so much for) EXILED HER!!!!!! It truly made her unintelligent. The author tried to write it as her being "loyal" but it just came off as her DESPERATELY seeking the approval of people who hate her to the HER OWN DETRIMENT and the detriment of a whole group of people who are helping you. How are you bonding with the wolf cub you saved but essentially doing things that would sign that same wolf cub's death warrant? This made me SUPER annoyed with the heroine and ended up making me dislike her enough to not continue.

GAAHHH I'm so sad this is over😭 definitely my favorite in the series. Andie matured so much and I was loving her here! I was so scared I would dislike her in this one like the previous books, and though the very beginning of this she was a bit iffy, when she finally realized what she wanted and started fighting for it, she became the heroine I've been wanting her to be. She definitely came out on top as the hero of the story, and I'm SO glad she did.

I cant think of one thing I would change in this book or series! The heroine was my biggest hurdle, but I felt like she really made up for it in this book. Wade was also fantabulous, and I think he may be my new all-time favorite side character. He brought all the humor and literally all of his dialogue/sayings were legit GOLD👌 I was also super excited to see more of my beloved Vissimo clan, and my bae King Julian (can I please just get a prequel with him already?😍). The ending was also satisfactory. After all the build-up I'm glad it ended the way it did, and that the heroine was the leader of it.

Overall, I pretty much loved everything about this series, and I'm officially convinced this author can do no wrong. She's slowly making her way through all the PNR/fantasy species and I'm loving that she is trying out completely new tropes and characters everytime. One I'm SUPER excited for, is her upcoming fae book! Although I love her PNR books, her fantasy ones will always be my favorite so I'm dying to how she will spin a story of fae. I'm also hoping she writes the witches and demon kingdoms🤞but at this point, I'm down for whatever because I know it will be epic.

Series review. Book 1: 5stars; book 2: 3stars; book 3: 2stars.

The first book of this series was pretty awesome. I went into this thinking this was a more humorous romance and I definitely laughed out loud a few times. Turned out this was more of a fast moving, high action, high intrigue kind of story. I loved it. Andie was extremely independent and stubborn. She did not let anyone walk all over her. She had very good decision making skills. She stood her own. Non of that my body is making the decisions for me BS. Or inta-luv or lust. She defiantly wants to jump Sacha’s bones at times but more in an adventurous young women with a health sex appetite kind of way. Sasha the alpha werewolf was okay. I liked that he freaked out occasionally as well and made mistakes too. He was respectful of not taking matters out of Andie’s hands and letting her make her own choices. The story goes a little bit the soap opera way with all the secrets and weird turn of events but overall I really liked it. I was desperate for book 2. The laser tag thing was a bit weird but at this time I still considered it more funny than anything else.

Book 2. Honestly I can barely remember what went in It and I read it yesterday. Things turned a little stale. The plot line also became more and more cliche and predictable. Andie also turned into the most responsible 21 year old ever and lost a lot of her funny feisty character traits. Sacha was nice and very respectful however and took a lot of crap from Andie. Which I totally got by the way. No one in the story ever mentioned laser tag again and it turned into this super serious thing that made absolutely no sense at all.
- First I didn’t see the point, the werewolves would be able to annihilate the tribe if they wanted to at any time.
- second the frequency of the weekly game is just not physically possible. Human recovery time would need to be longer. Even a sprained ankle takes sometimes weeks to heal.
- third I’m pretty sure that using tranquillizers the way these people do would cause some serious permanent damage if not kill some one once in a while if shot to much or more than once at the same time.
-fourth: you can’t just switch ownership of running of a business like that especially not without a central management team to run things.
- honestly I could go on for a while longer. The purpose of the game is preposterous.
The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because I was still on a high from book 1.

Book 3 was a major bore at times. Long descriptions. Repeats of previously explained actions. I started to skim more and more. Also Sacha’s and Andie’s romance became extremely cheesy. Everything in the book aligned just In The most eye roll worthy way. Andie, at 21, became the most centred, mature and harmonious person ever. Had all the answers of the universe. Knew how to talk to young and old alike and changed souls forever. A veritable master yoda. It was kind of disgusting to read. She held non of the spunk I originally loved her for. I’m just glad I’m done.

I did it - I made it to the end!! And what a nice ending it was 😌

Why do I feel like I just aged 15 years reading this series. Lmao I'm so tired from all the drama I don't have the energy to properly review. But Andie finally got her shit together (enough - I miss her uber take no shit days of the first book), Sascha stays the sweetest boy, Booker & Greyson are icons, Rhonda.... whatever man.

TL:DR - this series was good. Just entirely too stressful to read after just finishing a long stressful PNR series. I need to go find some fluff immediately.

This book is exceptional.

I have been highly anticipating it, and this whole series, after the author's Blood Trials series was my favourite read of last year. A word to the wise: if you liked this series and haven't read Blood Trials, so it immediately!

At the end of the last book poor Andie had been hurt and betrayed and was left devastated. When this book picks up we see Andie try and move on from what has happened, but she is held back from moving on by knowing that there is no future where her and Sascha can be happy as long as the game exists and there is a winner and a looser.

Cue the main plot of this novel, which is Andie being an absolute intelligent, cunning and brave legend and going all out to get the future she believes they all deserve.

So many things impressed me about this book, but a few stand out. Firstly, I love how Andie wasn't afraid to stand on her own and make personal sacrifices for what she felt was right, knowing she had to be able to live with herself. Had the characterisation not been so masterful, this would have come away as tedious and self sacrificing with a lesser author, but my heart both broke for and applauded Andie several times.

I also love what the author did with Rhona'w character arc. Again, a lesser author would have gone the obvious, tropey path, but I was so impressed and moved by the storyline and how is was presented.

The presentation of friendship was so lovely as well. Wade, Cam and many of the secondary characters really shone as well.

Finally, Andie and Sascha. They were just utterly superb. The romantic and hot highs were coupled with angsty lows, but again, the angst was presented through such excellent characterisation that I didn't eye roll once (highly unusual for me). I even found my self welling up at the end and getting all emotional, also unusual.

In summary, if you javbt read this series, go read Blood Trials and the other two books, then read this from the start. If you've read the first two books, I can't see how you won't adore this as much as I did.

Best in the seriessss. I feel like we got two romances for the price of one here. Andie and Sascha, their alter ego wolves, Booker and Greyson, who were so so so hilarious.

Book 1 Andie was mostly trying to understand the game board and put clues of her moms past together. Book 2 Andie was trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, being everywhere all at once and trying to stop secrets from coming out instead of owning up them. Book 3 Andie just did not. have. the time. and I was sooo proud of her for finally standing up for herself and being the leader everyone needed. I love that losing was just not an option in her mind. She never stressed about it bc it simply wasn't on the table. She said with complete confidence and casualty what she planned to do, and she did it. She's grown so much in such a short time and she deserved that HEA bc she forged it w her own two hands. I'm also rly happy her and Rhona mended things and I hope her sister finds happiness as well. Wade was iconic as always and oh my god, Could Sascha get any sweeter?

"Will you let me brush your hair?"

The sex scene kind of let me down tho I'll be honest. How you gonna tell me they broke the cabin and not show me? Smh. Not cool.

Other than that tho perfect conclusion and flawless writing as always.

Weirdly, I didn't like this one as much as the others. Trust me, I'm as shocked as you are.

I think it might have something to do with reading completed series vs waiting for the next book. When I have a full series in front of me, I just dive right in. I tear through each book. I often wait to review until I've read them all, and by that point I may have forgotten things that bugged me at the time.

But when I go book-by-book, the little things jump out at me. For instance:

❌ Suddenly, I'm finding Andie really damn annoying.

I can't even 100% tell you why, I just know she got on my nerves in this book. Actually, I can tell you why. Her martyr attitude is really pissing me off. I don't get why she would sacrifice her LIFE AND HAPPINESS for the tribe when they've treated her like crap and she didn't even know about them until six months ago.

❌ Sascha was kind of annoying too. He blew soooo hot and cold.

❌ I found myself skim-reading bits that related to the plot, because I just don't get how two factions that been at war for over 200 years could start getting along so... soon.

Whatever, I didn't love it. But KSC is still a good author so hopefully there's better things coming.

If you’ve read the Vampire Towers series by the same author, much of the “feel” of this story (in fact, all three books) is the same. You have a woman (human) who inexplicably finds herself wrapped up in a supernatural world. And, against her wishes, said-human is mated to a very powerful, sexy, territorial supernatural who also happens to be her number 1 adversary.

It’s an enemies-to-lovers trope, stretched out over 3 books, and I can’t say that Werewolf Dens was that much better than Vampire Towers. Both series started off strong, but in this series, my interest waned toward the third (final) novel. The Hype was real. Until it wasn’t.

St. Clare mired the plot in a lot of technical jargon about business deals for land ownership and complex game strategy that pulled the focus away from matters of the heart (and...was boring! There! I said it!). Instead of focusing on Sascha’s wicked cunning and Andie’s one-two-punch in response, we got pages upon pages of what amounts to a very elaborate paintball match (at least, in my mind). I think there was a way to write about the battles and the negotiations that focused more on the “who” and not on the “what.” When Sascha and Andie DID interact...whooo boy, *fans self.* And so it took a lot of (I imagine) convincing by the author to drive a big enough wedge between two hotties ready to play Super Smash Bros with their were-uglies at every interaction.

All in all (all 3 books...) this is a well-written series, and Booker (in this book) was definitely the cause of many late-night guffaws. She and Greyson need their own little novella, for sure. Would I read this book series again? Probably not. I skimmed most of this book, unfortunately, and couldn’t find it in myself , as Andie did, to forgive Rhona or Ragna or Herc for their past shittful ways. I never had a moment’s doubt how or that level-headed-Andie and steadfast Sascha would pull through, which, unfortunately, made for a rather ho-hum read.

I enjoyed the last book in this series significantly less than the previous installments.

Most of my annoyance boiled down to Andie and her decisions. Frankly, I could not get on board with her siding with the tribe again after all the crap they put her through. She also betrays Sascha/the pack multiple times, and can be downright cruel. Sorry, but not rolling with it. Sascha deserves better than her.

Other issues: half of this book felt like a drawn out business meeting, with boring details about logistics and contracts. I don’t care. I felt like some things got drawn out that weren’t necessary.

The constant switching between the pack and the tribe. The tribe threw her out and at the beginning of the book, it felt like the author no longer knew what to do with the story now that Andie was no longer an adversary, so she pretty much undid it, got rid of Rhona for a bit, and put us back to where we were before. Ok, I guess. Then we get the Andie’s switching attitudes and secret-telling, and I got more and more annoyed with her character. Not to mention how sanctimonious she gets with other characters who mess up. It doesn’t seem to matter how bad she is or how much she hurts Sascha because he always ends up forgiving her easily in the end. The stakes don’t feel real, and the ending feels unearned.

The overall arc is incredibly similar to the vamp series before, down to the game and the tension between the two leads. The author used similar tropes, obstacles, and character arcs, so everything felt too on the nose for me to enjoy.

2 stars because the writing wasn’t bad, and I still enjoyed some of the scenes, humor, and characters.

“When the was was over, he’d come for me.
Because Sascha Greyson was mine.
The world couldn’t keep us apart.
It just wasn’t powerful enough.”

Andie and Sasha have a lot of obstacles to overcome. Misunderstandings are had, compromises are made, and this story finds its happy ending.

This book was slightly less funny than the others, mainly because it’s focused on tying up loose ends. The supporting characters are great, and it was a fun cameo to see the Vissimo from the other series show up here.

“No matter who won, Sasha and I lost.
That wasn’t something I could accept.”

I think what keeps me from giving it a full five stars is I can’t understand why Andie is so loyal to her tribe. She wasn’t raised with them, and after the events in book 2, I’d have walked away with Sascha and not looked back. But I’m glad Andie came up with a solution for both teams.

I really like the paranormal game night series. I hope she writes more.

Welll.....
Ok there is ALOT to unpack here.

First - no spoilers because this series is worth reading! The MC makes mistakes but we always owns up to them, we see a very mature young lady who doesn’t get all consumed with her beau she is smart and emotionally engaged as well as driven and hard working. She expects to earn her place and she does, the book gives you context as to why she is succeeding even though she totally got thrown in the deep end.

At the end of the last book we see Andie getting thrown out of the human side and is left to find her place amongst the wolves. There are still a few meets to go with our gorgeous wolf sigma.

This was a fabulous end of the story and well well worth the build up and hype leading towards to smexy meet.
10/10 ⭐️ must read!!!!

I loved the ending!!! Because we did get ..I

Review: 3.5 stars

I love the concept of this series - play laser tag for land rights! And it’s werewolves verse humans! What a fun original twist on the werewolf genre (forbidden love trope)!

What started off as a hot new series kinda fizzled out about 2/3 into book 3 (this one I’m doing a review for). The momentum died when Andie (our main character) got wrapped up in all the logistics and political stuff. Don’t get me started on the fact that she just happens to be mayor of the town in addition to a tribe leader. Like just pick one. Our main character can’t be everything. 🤦‍♀️ There is nothing wrong with logistics and politics in a book. My problem was how it was presented to the reader. It felt like I was at a business meeting and we were going over bullet points of essential information. So I kinda got bored for a bit.

What could have made this a five star review? I would have written the climax differently. Up the stakes and make it seem like the main character is completely stuck in her situation (she never felt stuck to me and it made it less exciting) then I would have thrown in a plot twist or something to reveal information in a more dramatic way. (I know so much easier said than done - but that is what separates an average series from an outstanding one and this author has done it in the past so I expect only the best results from her).

This series is worth reading if you love the paranormal and romance fantasy genres. There is definitely steamy bedroom scenes (that I typically skip over just because it’s not really my thing so my review does not include the bedroom scenes).

Fans of Stephanie Myer and SJM will devour these books and will be wanting more.

Overall it was good but my biggest complain which made me not enjoy the book is Andies loyalty to the tribe. I somewhat get it, but for her, worst case scenario was the wolves leaving (which we know they will be slaughtered before they made it anywhere safe). Her worst case scenario was not the tribe leaving, even though they would be safe to leave. And the fact that the tribe are assholes and she's like that's fine, I still side with them. I found it difficult to enjoy the book being that annoyed with her and her choices. Also, I'm not a fan of how andie gave secrets away and allowed her sister to read Sasha's "love letters" without at first letting him know. Ya just not a fan of the plot in general it seems lol

I am so glad I found this series. Don’t know how a hidden gem like this can hide but I am so glad I found it.
The third book was an fantastic ending and the fight and emotional roller coaster they all endured was Fantastically written.

Review is about the Supernatural Battle: Werewolf Dens #1 - #3 (Trilogy).
Supernatural Battle world consists of two finished Trilogy and a third one which is not finished yet.
The first Trilogy is Vampire Towers, which should be read before Werewolf Dens, if you plan to read all books of the Supernatural Battle world. But if you are not interested in Vampire Towers, you can read Werewolf Dens without prior knowledge of the Supernatural Battle world. But some characters of the Vampire Towers will appear in the second and third book of Werewolf Dens.

I loved the Trilogy Werewolf Dens. Some of my friends like it better than Vampire Towers Series, but I couldn't pick a favorite. Because I liked both FMCs, even though they have different background. Basi (the Vampire Tower FMC) doesn't know a lot about problems people face who are not rich. Andi, the Werewolf Dens FMC, is poor. She had to take care of her mother who died of cancer at the beginning of the book. She is used to rely on herself where as Basi has her Grandmother, Butler and other people whom she can rely on. I like that the FMCs are so completely different. But the face the same Problem: They are thrown into a supernatural battle and have to win it for the humans, while changing their view of life and what is of importance.

I liked both MMC, but I liked Sasha and Greyson, a little bit better than the Vampire MMC.

I enjoyed how the plot build. If you are expecting a lot of smut, you for sure picked the wrong Series. Because the romance is slow burn. I like that most of both Series is about the plot. Also that the author found a way to intertwine the Vampires, the wolfs and the humans in this series. There were scene where I would really laugh a lot but also sad scenes.

The side characters are great to I loved Wade!

Thank you #cakeeaters, for reading this together and Che for suggesting it!

How long is immortality again?” he whispered.
“Forever,” I replied.
“Thank fuck.”

i'm so obsessed with werewolves lately and thanks to my friend who suggested this trilogy it had me engrossed. ❤️

The plot was very hunger games with werewolves and such a unique and interesting concept with non stop action.

However the h was an idiot most of the time and i needed multiple breaks bc she drove me crazy with her stupid decisions (she was somewhat tolerable in the last book) but the H was such a sweetheart and seeing their wolves Grayson and Booker playing together was so cute and wholesome.

"Give in to me, young one. You are a powerful female, but you are no match for me.
I maybe had a few things to say about that.
Booker snapped her fangs. I am a prize for a worthier male. You will sire weak pups.
Ouch.
She went there."

also the side characters were 10/10. wade you're a legend, rhona was a bitch but the wolves were so badass and cool.

Great end to the trilogy

I really did like the way this series ended. I liked the resolution to the games and the future of Andie and Sascha . Although not everyone received their happily ever after, there is promise for some (I need more Wade), which was nice. Sometimes when the future of the main couple is wrapped up, the hope of a HEA for the other characters you love works. I was worried for a while that the author was going to try to fit Andie into every leadership role a female in this series could hold and make her all powerful, I like the compromise/balance that was found in the end.

Apparently there was a cameo of characters from a previously written series. I must read these books also.

I'm super sad that I just kept going down by a star throughout this series. :(

This book was not as good as the second, and was definitely no where near as good as the first one. I just couldn't get behind the characters and what they were doing to one another in the name of "this is for us, for our future". It just wasn't sitting well with me. The characters starting feeling more and more like they weren't the characters I had grown to love in the first book.

I guess I just hoped things came together differently? I mean I get why the things happened thatdid happen. But it just was meh for me. *shrugs*

While Rhona finally left for being an absolute bitch and backstabber, Poor Sascha I felt like was being walked by Andie at times.
He bent over backwards for her and was so patient waiting for her to figure life out.

“Sascha breathed. “I want to be patient and strong, but I need a sign. What do you feel for me, beautiful wolf? Because I love you.”

While Sascha and Andie are being divided by politics, we’re introduced to Vampire Royalty.
Andie comes up with an idea to save everyone’s homes and lives.

Book three is full of political talk. It’s… a lot.
The spice and end of the mating isn’t till like 90% into the book.
I was going to see more into the future and seeing more characters mated!

But - the games are over. Everyone can live in harmony together now. And it’s all thanks to Andie.
It was a nice ending to a really neat trilogy.
