Grady Harp: Top Contributor: Children's Books HALL OF FAME: TOP 100 REVIEWER 4.0 out of 5 stars ‘Cases related to Maoist related insurgencies and killings’ – recipe for terror. With this fine introduction to Detective Rajiv, readers who become admirers of this unique man will likely proceed to the Trilogy. Grady Harp, November 21.' - Review by a Hall Of Fame Reviewer on Amazon. The year 2008 was the period of a global meltdown with enormous job losses and unexpected foreclosures of dwelling stock. This narrative is an intriguing thriller set in Bangalore - the IT capital of the world. It covers the story of three best friends working in diverse enterprises, a fiancé who sweeps one of these three friends off her feet, and an atrocious crime.
This was the first major case of Police Inspector Rajiv, and there was a threat to his life as he burrowed into the riddle behind the wretched crime. There were numerous suspects and Rajiv laboriously cut through the conundrums to settle the biggest case in the nation's history.
Read further to get entertained through this compelling plot full of twists and turns, a seething tension, and a detective who is at the suffering end of a gigantic web of a dated, mighty spiritual cult. Will Rajiv expose the conundrum and endure this murky and savage crime?

This is not a novella or shorts. It is a comprehensive novel delving into one of the most illustrious cases of Police Inspector Rajiv. One can read this novel as a standalone.

A thriller that explores IT life, unfolded in the rocking city of Bangalore with it is subplots in the north Indian states like Bihar and Jharkhand, "Ritualistic Murder" by Kumar Kinshuk takes another level especially by the middle. The book is an adorable thriller for the readers of all classes.. It is an intriguing read and with a kind of dynamic characters and events sometimes taking the our thoughts to somewhere else. Not saying much about the story.. Grab this and this is that much worth
Ritualistic Murder is a prequel to the Kanke Trilogy and it is totally stand apart from the Trilogy. Even if you haven't read the Trilogy, you can read the book "Ritualistic Murder". It is not a mystery or suspense, there is some but mostly it is a thriller full of action. The Inspector Rajiv is the protagonist here, he was the one of the investigated Kanke Killings and got a good reputation. So this can read as a life of the heroic inspector himself. The book is nicely written, there is a space for imagination and visualization.

‘Sir, we have a situation. The backup team was on its way, but there has been a major accident near Latehar. They have got stuck there. They are doing their best to get out of it and move, but it will take them a precious thirty minutes more. Maoists will soon realize we do not have help and they will, likely, strike back.’ This is a thrilling story with more actions and stunts. Highly recommended for all those who love high spirited works. You won't be disappointed even if u expected highly, this is has many events that will literally make even the readers rush.. It is great
‘Not at all. Your eyes have a depth, and they invite the person having conversation with you. Your eyes invite the other person to explore you. Well, and I am not saying any of this so that I become a constant factor in your.." This was the cutest event in the book. In the 2nd chapter the meet up with Diya was nice.
And the book is a first personal narrative, the story of Inspector Rajiv and some police officers. Rajiv, his life, in deeply discussed it is indeed beautiful. Rajiv is a masculine heroic character and in "Ritualistic Murder" also he is behind a case. But the first two chapters are totally an introduction. Unlike from Fatal belief and Two Indian Girls, this journey was a bit longer but interesting.
Just have good journey with Inspector Rajiv and you will never forget.
I received this book in return for an honest review. Thank you so much to StoryOrigin, the author, and the publisher for the chance to read this amazing and truly intriguing book.
This is a comprehensive novel delving into one of the most illustrious cases of Police Inspector Rajiv.
Review: I loved the cover which first brought this book to my attention and I am a thriller / true crime junkie so I knew this book was right up my alley. The story itself is written beautifully and the characters are well written and developed. There is definitely a good about of thrills and suspense which I really enjoyed. Really well done, I enjoyed it thoroughly and have now added Kumar Kinshuk to my authors to follow list.
Heart-warming, adrenaline rushing, exciting, catharsis but wholesome, The Ritualistic Murder by Kumar Kinshuk leaves out a roller coast ride of emotions and action for its reader to experience. The characters are never-going-to-die. And it is like if we are watching a movie. Full of thrills and stunts. Apart from the story what I really liked is the presentation of the plot, the Indian states where the story belongs to and it's politics and features.
The book is best for action adventure entertainment.
Inspector Rajiv was indeed iconic and heroic for the readers of the Kanke Trilogy. And this book is written for those who haven't been to the Trilogy or I can say as an invitation to the Trilogy. This is a journey which is more personal also official. Here ambience is bit more colorful. Enjoyed well.

Haven't seen detective fiction this detailed in recent times. Bowled me over with the strong narrative. The strong characterisation of Inspector Rajiv was heavily appealing. A best thriller to spend time with
Ritualistic Murder by Kumar Kinshuk is an Indian police thriller that prequels The Kanke Killings Trilogy. It can stand alone and lays the foundation of Police Inspector Rajiv's first major case, but it came out after the trilogy was completed. From the start, you see the inspector's desire to prove himself as he gains confidence with his boss and men. At times everything falls into place, but other times he doubts himself and his abilities.
I was drawn to Ritualistic Murder by the enticing cover that gives chills just thinking about walking through the eerie stillness of the woods as fog awaits you around the bend. You get the feeling Kumar Kinshuk has an evil and fascinating tale just waiting within the pages. I certainly was not disappointed. I love reading novels from authors of cultural differences; it always adds a smile.
Author Kumar Kinshuk has written a compendium of short stories and four novels, comprising of the trilogy "Kanke Killings" TWO INDIAN GIRLS, FATAL BELIEF, DAYBREAK, and RITUALISTIC MURDER which is the prequel.
This is an expansive novel which delves deeper into one of the most illustrious cases of Police Inspector Rajiv. I've not come across this author before, and wasn’t sure what to expect, but the setting characters being Indian was rather unique and gave a very fresh feel to the murder-mystery genre. The characters are well thought out, believable, and very identifiable despite being culturally different to myself. A fast pace was maintained throughout the book, with plenty of suspense to keep my heart racing. I look forward to reading more from Kinshuk. Ritualistic Murder is highly recommend by me, and well worth a read.
The story blended with so many thrills and more suspenses. Though this kinds of works are available plentiful in the literary world, Ritualistic Murder is quite interesting in it's own way. Inspector Rajiv was the investigator of the Murder mystery of Kanke Killings and that was wonderfully crafted, those who have already read that will be having a heroic image of Rajiv. Buy those who are new to it will be taken to a world with full of action and adventure. The book has a wide narrative but a simple language.
The story is a bit longer one but has included so many things. This is indeed a page turner that worth money. I would suggest it to all readers interested in fiction a social obligation in the author is seen through the book. The opening event itself is interesting. The readers will never loose an interest in the book. From the light of my experience this is not boring. As anyone can enjoy a beautiful painting this book is also enjoyable.
Sir, I cannot say I am ninja trained, but I have a brown belt in karate. That was while I was a fourteen-year-old. I have not kept myself in much of a practice, but I know a trick-or-two." Thrilling right? Yes it is.. full of actions and fights etc. Even there is a space for romance.. so much interesting stuffs and the book is filled with some fast paced characters. Highly recommended
Kanke Trilogy was a perfectly ploted crimes and it's chasing-for-the-truth and in that journey to find the truth, the reader will be fascinated by the hero. And this book Ritualistic Murder is for the fans of Inspector Rajiv. It moves through so many incidents where the readers will feel their heart racing and adrenaline rushing.

I would love to call this book, an essence of the Trilogy 'Kanke Killings'. The book is a package of thrill, suspense, action, romance and many more. Written in a lucid language, author invites his readers to the world in which the Hero is portrayed with so many heroic traits.. highly recommended.
An action filled plot.. Intelligent characters.. Brilliantly penned.. Lucid language.. Full entertainment.. Story that cannot distinguish the fact and fiction.. Romance is there also.. Story with a soul.. What else a thriller book lover needs? Go for it.. Amazing
Ritualistic Murder was a thriller but it can be also a political one. Each and every characters presented are with high clarity. It is appreciable that the author has a clarity about the story so that he arranged it beautifully and perfectly. I could easily read and understand because of easy use of words and sentences. The book is not so short but not too lagging. It talks about different events and different things. And really worth reading.
The title of the book was very mysterious for me. A murder or a murderer being ritualistic sounds something different and quite interesting.
If you have curios cum investigating mind this book is exclusively for u..
Oh dear this book was quite interesting sometimes, I laughed, feared, got curious, sometimes trusted Inspector Rajiv sometimes even felt like falling in love..
I really fell for it's cover. When the novel begin it is totally strange to see the cover and how it is related but things will be cleared once reading is over. This has deeper connection it seems. The book is an interesting one there is no lagging or too much boring things but it would be great if the readers have already read the Trilogy called "Kanke Killings". This book is a prequel to that. Trilogies are common but a prequel to that is unique. Here more than the story what was interesting to me is that the events and the heroic traits of Inspector Rajiv and ofcourse the politics the author conveys.
The book is highly recommended as an escape from monotonous life.
What if the author takes to the interiors of the story he already told.? This is the prequel to the series authored by Kumar Kinshuk. The story is about Inspector Rajiv and his fellows, their journey and adventures and ofcourse some droplets of series also appears. A very interesting story is maintained with a good element of thrill and movements. Same time written in a simple language. Recommending this first before reading the Trilogy. Long live Inspector Rajiv.
The murder has happened and a police officer is behind, this is a usual story plot. But what interesting here is indeed the narration. It is a first person narrative not only focusing on the main plot. It also takes a road to the personal life of the hero. The characters from the Trilogy are perfectly placed. The book is a prequel to the Trilogy Kanke Killings authored by the same author, Kumar Kinshuk. I loved the book.
That’s the spirit, my friend. The game is not over till it is over. There is always a way back and we can always crawl back into the game, even at the last moment when we lose all." The author is a great story teller worth listening. The story is fast pacing and very interesting. The qoute is from the book. And throughout the book there something that keeps us hooked.
As a reader I would like to escape from reality and to live beneath the lines. And it is fantastic. "Ritualistic Murder" is very apt for that. Some moment it is impossible to differentiate between the reality and fantasy. In the book some events is as if like in real life. The author has discussed some political topics too and that will be more interesting to readers interested in that. The non Indian readers and non North Indian readers will get an idea about the culture of states like Bihar and Jharkhand. The book is an all rounder

It was an trilogy and reveals the inspection Rajiv life and his investigation. It was totally fiction related to detective life. This was like two Indian girls but can have standalone read.
Now, kanke killings triology turns super interesting favourite books. Inspector Rajiv always want to work on crime and grabbed an opportunity, started investigation Radha's murder. He is revealing utter shocking twist and turns in it.
Author's cinematic narration was appreciable. Language is lucid and some twist is predictable. It's not quite long book and thriller people should not miss this book.
" I just need to know when it was last that you guys spoke to her."
BOOK: Ritualistic Murder (A Prequel to the Kanke Killings Trilogy) SERIES: The Kanke Killings Trilogy AUTHOR:@authorkinshuk GENRE: #crimethriller #murdermystery RATING: 4.2💫
Radha, a to-be married happy and focused girl is founded murdered during her pre-marriage trip with her beau. Her fiance is nowhere to be found, Inspector Rajiv is assigned the case. What happens to Radha? Was she killed by fiance, if so why? Was she killed by any locals? Was there a motive in the first place? Or was it purely animalistic?
After reading "Two Indian girls" from this series, I found in this book ,much more indepth both story wise and character wise. There is a strong plot to the story. A few pointers which can be given thoughts in the future would be:
▪︎ Have found few mistakes in sentences in page number 20,35,171 & 196.
▪︎font size was uneven at few places.
▪︎Could have included a strong background story to Diya.
Ritualistic Murder is Book 0 or A Prequel to the The Kanke Killings Trilogy (Two Indian Girls, Fatal Belief and Daybreak).
This book is basically curated to give a peek into the background of Inspector Rajiv...the reason why he became a celebrated cop. So before you start with the trilogy, do read this one.
In this book you will get to read about Inspector Rajiv's personal life, love life, the choices he makes and most importantly why he became the celebrated cop. __
⭐Inspector Rajiv was mostly assigned with cases related to Maoist related insurgencies and killings. However he wanted to work on crime cases that involved murder. His wish comes true when his boss hands over a murder case to him. A young woman named Radha was found dead on road in village of Netarhat and her boyfriend was absconding. When Inspector Rajiv sets in to investigate the case what he finds out is utterly shocking. A huge conspiracy around Radha's murder.... A secret society which included some big names who were invovled in many other crimes.

#bookreview - Although this book is a prequel to the kanke killings trilogy it can be read aa a standalone too. This is the first time i am reading this author's work and honestly i am not disappointed. It was great reading this book. It is fast paced and kept me hooked throughout. The plot will keep your curiosity intact as to what will happen next. I liked how the author has introduced the life of the character 'Inspector Rajiv' by weaving a story around religious cult killings. I completed the book in 2 days and can't wait to read Two Indian Girls. There were some printing mistakes relating to character names in the book which irritated me a bit. Other than that its a good read.
This is great for beginners also who want to start reading crime thrillers.
⭐ The book is really good with great story line which will keep you thrilled from very beginning to end. A really good book which you can cherish.
⭐ The author with his story telling skills has made sure the reader is hooked. It become more and more intriguing. The location, clothing, characters and their Personalities are all describe in great detail.
⭐ Even though it's part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone. Overall, a good fast paced thriller
⭐ I enjoyed reading this book. Best wishes to the author.
