Eve’s mother marries Tony and he has a son named Leo. Leo and Eve are instantly attracted to each other. Eve has issues from the past and Leo has secrets, but they can’t seem to stay away from each other. Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. This book is a short and spicy read

This is another good book in this series. There’s a bit more involved in this one, as far as the dark aspects of the story go. It’s not too bad, but this story deals with sexual assault against a child, and that can be a serious trigger for some people, so I wanted to be sure to make that note for this review, so other readers can decide for themselves whether this is a book they want to read or not.
I will say though, I haven’t read anything written by Teresa Wolf that has been really dark, while many of her stories contain dark elements, the stories themselves are filled with hope, and inspiration to encourage more love and happiness in the world.
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.
3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.
2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.

This is the fourth novella of the Dark Tales series, and again, is a fast-paced read; a low time commitment novella you can easily finish in one sitting. This storyline follows Eve, who has a traumatic childhood due to her mom’s struggle with addiction, and a kidnapping and CSA by her mother’s boyfriend when she was 13. In the years following her kidnapping, Eve lives with her mother who is still unpredictable, so much so that on one of her trips, her mother comes back married and drops the news they will be moving to Texas to be a “family.”
Once in Texas, Eve meets her stepbrother, Leo, and it’s instant-lust. Although I’m all for a good taboo and dark romance, this novella didn’t feel super taboo since the MCs barely knew each other as “step-siblings.” This novella also was a bit disjointed in places, some events weren’t explained enough, and the “point” of the plot felt lacking. We learned nothing about Leo’s background, how Eve coped after her abduction, how Eve was found by her abductor in Texas, how the relationship between Eve and Leo progressed to the epilogue, etc.
This was just an okay read you have to take at face value and not question too much.

Break You is the fourth book in the ‘Dark Tales’ series of novellas and tells the story of Leo and Eve. Eve has had a traumatic childhood, her mother was an addict and had left Eve in the care of her boyfriend at the time who abducted her. A few years later, her mother goes to Vegas, has a fling and marries a man all in the space of a week. Her new husband has a son, Leo who then becomes Eve’s stepbrother. When they meet, Leo is dumbstruck and experiences instalust for his new sister.
I must admit, I didn’t enjoy this novella as much as the previous books in this series. I found it to be disjointed in places, waiting for the story to unravel and explain itself but this didn’t happen and I was left a little mystified as to the purpose of the story. We didn’t really find out what had happened to Eve when she was abducted and how this affected her or what Leo’s actual background story is.
Overall, I was a little disappointed with this novella but it won’t put me off reading further stories from this author in future.

This taboo romance is dark in the best of ways and very steamy. Leo and Eve are fantastic characters living up to their names. Leo is a predator, stalking the prey he wants most. Eve is walking temptation and all Leo can think about. From the first moment he meets Eve, after their parents get married, he’s determined to break down her walls. They tempt and tease each other but Eve’s past keeps her closed off from hoping for anything with Leo.
There should be a trigger warning for her past. There isn’t a lot of detail but she was kidnapped as a teen and it is alluded to that assault took place. Eve with no details it could be a trigger for some. When her kidnapper is released from prison, he comes looking for her. Leo will do anything to protect her but Eve will do what it takes to keep him from being hurt. I love a good character that’s obsessive to the point of stalking and Leo fits this perfectly. I especially enjoyed the ending. A true obsession doesn’t end at the HEA, it continues and strengthens. This was written really well and I would definitely recommend reading it.

Break You by Teresa Wolf is a short Step Siblings Romance which follows Leo Throne and Eve Gardener. The moment Leo laid his eyes on Eve, he was hooked.
Break You was a quick and easy read. Because it is a short story there is a lack of background information and very little build up for their romance. And I honestly wish the book was darker or I wish there was more stalking involved considering it’s suppose to be a stalker romance.
What I did love about the book was that when Eve was in need of help or comfort she would seek out for Leo. I also thought the smut scene was a little cringey but also a little steamy at the same time. And I actually enjoyed the ending of the epilogue.
If you don’t mind short story stalker romances with very little stalking involved, step siblings with lack of chemistry which also includes another stalker/pedo and mentions of working for the cartel, this book may be for you.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! Eve has been through so much at 13 years old she was kidnaped and used by her mother’s boyfriend. Fast forward five years later, she is happy working on putting her past and the horrors of what happened behind her. It seems her mother never stops because her mother comes home from Vegas announcing she has gotten remarried and they are moving to Austin, Texas. Leo sexy as all get out but crazy stepbrother is instantly obsessed with her from the moment, he sees her and begins stalking her. Then the man who kidnapped her comes back to haunt her. The chemistry is there from the moment she walks through the door but they both ignore it until her past comes back and Leo will do everything, he can’t to ensure she is safe and protected.

I liked this book because it has a lot packed in it’s novella length. Teresa Wolf is a master of telling a great story in a few words. First there is Eve. Who was kidnapped and raped when she was 13. The perpetrator was caught and put in prison. Meanwhile her mom goes to Vegas and comes back married. They move to Texas to be a family. Ha! Once there she meets her stepbrother, Leo. The attraction between them is immediate. She knows it’s wrong. But when her attacker comes back to take her again Leo steps in to take care of things. Anyway Teresa tells the story much better than I can. It is packed with lust, forbidden fruit and steamy action. I did receive an advance copy for my honest review. And purchased a copy for my personal library.

I kind of loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even though it talks about kidnapping and abuse of a child. The stalking is minor but it ends up helping out a bit. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Jeremiah needed to get some comeuppance and I liked that Leo gave him some. Eve and Leo met as adults after their parents got a quickie marriage. They were both attracted to the other but Eve was the only one fighting it. After a terrifying run in with her past, Eve decided to take matters into her own hands. Their relationship exploded from there. I adored their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

I loved this book it was awesome, the story was great and the characters were fantastic. When you think no one had seen or was watching well that was Eve. Leo and his father are very close they have a company they have more than enough money but they needed to be close to the border of Mexico so Leo's father got married. Eve was introduced to her step sibling they kept trying to avoid each other that didn't work. Eve would be in her room and she would be watching. The chemistry between them was hot and steamy with a lot of passion. This was a short read but a good one I thoroughly enjoyed.

you never know when or how you will meet your person. but when you do, you just know. eve has been dragged all around by her mom that is just looking for her next ex-husband. This time though, Mom's newest cash cow comes with a stepbrother. Leo looks like sin and is the bad boy good girls dream of. Eve and Leo both feel the sparks between them. But it isn't until Eve's past comes back to haunt her, that they both realize that Leo will do anything to keep her safe and happy. And they are both ok with that. This is a standalone quick read from the queen of quick and dirty with a dash of HEA.

This is a short fast-paced story with plenty of sexual tension between Leo and Eve. Eve had a very traumatic childhood which her mom could care less about she's worried about herself and the next wealthy man she's going to marry. Which is Leo's father and it brings them to Austin. Leo couldn't understand why his dad was marrying this golddigger until he laid eyes on Eve and was bowled over. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. I will say that you need to read this book to see what happens with them.

Break you is a step-brother taboo story. Eve has a traumatic past that seems to be impossible to forget when living in a small town where everyone knows everything. She is forced into moving when her mother comes back from one of her week-long benders in Vegas as a married woman. After moving in with her new step-father and step-brother, Eve is determined to prove she can do things on her own instead of living off of their money. Unbeknownst to Eve, her step-brother Leo has been following her and it just so happens it's a good thing he has been when her past finds her again.

I love the Dark Tales series, Break You did not disappoint me. I liked that the story was told from both Eve and Leo's point of view. Eve's mom is not a very good person, especially given what happened to Eve when she was younger. I loved that Leo went out of his way to make sure that Eve's past could not touch her again and I especially liked that Leo wasn't impervious to injury, in a lot of these types of books the male protagonist kicks butt with no injury to himself and that is just plain unrealistic.

I couldnt reconcile the title with the subject until half way through. I realized that break you was not really about Evie being broken but Leo being broken in his way of life and thinking. He immeditely becomes protective of Evie with her kidnapping at 13 and her mother's neglect and not to mention her instability in keeping a relationship. Leo bring stability although his actions are clearly possessive stalking but with the protection odf Evie at the center.
I loved the story and though it was more realistic than most people are willing to admit.

This is the fourth book in the Dark Tales series by Teresa Wolf. This is a quick read that really doesn’t give you much background but you can fill in between the lines. This book is about Leo and Eve and how Leo fell for Eve when he first saw her. When Eve is faced with a person from her past she looks to Leo for comfort. Can Leo protect Eve from the person from her past?

Ohm wow, this book is so amazing, it takes you where you tell yourself you don’t want to go but deep down you’re there. Leo is such an awesome character, he’s always there, so protective. I’m surprised after what Eve went through that she’s not scared of everything. This book will keep you glued to the pages, it is so worth it.

I have enjoyed some dark romances and anti-heroes, but this guy doesn't have any redeeming or interesting qualities. He's just a douchebag.
I wanted to like her, but she seemed like someone who needed some serious therapy.
And her ability to judge character? Awful. Her besties enjoy mocking some guy at a bar because he's fat. The heroine is just like, "Ooooh, those girls. Tsk tsk."
These people are just awful and not worth the page they're written on.

The book started off really well with a heartbreaking beginning. The middle part and the sex scene was rather wishy-washy. And the end came too soon, nothing about what the parents say about their two children's relationship. The epilogue was good again though and shows the same character traits as in the beginning of Leo.

I like this book a lot. It had all the elements of a good story. The writer really knows how to spin a story. Her characters well defined and believable. Like I said I really liked the story and I think if you give it a chance you would too

Eve and her mother move to Austin. Her mother has snagged a wealthy man to marry. Eve catches the eye of his son Leo her now stepbrother. They tease each other and the sexual tension is apparent. Her past finds her and Leo is determined to protect her. Leo and Eve have a steamy scene. It was an easy read.
