Her love of historical fiction, writing, and romance encouraged her to dive head first into the world of publishing. With a cup of warm coffee by her side and her dog at her feet, she can be found at her desk writing late into the night.
I really enjoyed this book about Mary Howard, wife of Henry Fitzroy. Even though the majority of her story was based on limited information, I believe the author gave true voice to Mary. I found Mary to be a remarkable woman and I rooted for her all the way. It's sad she rarely found any happiness. A must read!
Very well written book about Mary Howard, Henry Fitzroy’s wife. Even though her relationship with her husband was barely touched on, you are able to discern what type of person she was. This book is very different from other books that tell of her relationship with her father and husband. In other books she has a tumultuous relationship with her father and was in love with Henry Fitzroy. Completely different in this book. Still a good work of historical fiction.
Every story could be a stand alone novella but they blend together beautifully. I am looking forward to reading number six in this series and hoping for more to follow.
