His Little Butterfly 🦋
This was my first book by Adaline, but I'm a longtime Rawhide Ranch fan. I loved her characters' trip to the ranch!
It was great to see an established couple with jobs, life/relationship struggles, etc. better define their relationship and rolls after exploring at the ranch.
It was also great to see some of my favorite Rawhide regulars as supporting characters. So much fun!

YOUR HAVEN STORMED THE CASTLE EARLY
The story is another excellent addition to the Rawhide Ranch series, where each story will read well as a stand-alone. The story will involve a couple with a D/s relationship, but work has stayed extra busy, and they haven’t had time for each other. Haven is on edge, thinking that Colton has lost interest and that their relationship is falling apart. Rather than being patient and listening to him, she is disrespectful, belligerent, interrupting him, and even goes so far as to call red when he tells her she has earned a punishment.
Haven: Pretty words don’t mean anything if you don’t back them up with actions.
Colton: You’re already got a punishment coming, sweetheart.
Haven: You said the same thing last week and guess what didn’t happen?
Colton: You wanted a reaction, baby girl. Here it is.
Haven: I tried talking to you, Sir!
Colton: Yes, you did, angel. I also attempted to make conversation with you today, to start to get us back on track, but you refused.
Haven: I was working.
Colton: You get breaks and lunch. This just proves my point. We seem to have a better conversation when you’re across my lap.
The story’s plot is one that many people will relate to as they are reading, no matter the dynamics of their relationship. The story feels real, packed full of emotions, and screaming for answers. Life and work can easily take precedence, and the other party feels left out, neglected, and lost. Haven has suppressed being Little, yet it will be her Little self that decides running away is the answer. Not answer his texts, or phone calls leaves Colton scared and upset. Once Haven arrives at Rawhide Ranch, with the help of Erica, she calms down some, and with the assistance of Master Derek, a phone call will be made to Colton. Master Derek helps with the arrangements for an emergency stay.
“Running wasn’t the brightest move, but I could not stay in our house another minute. My Little, the one whom I’d suppressed for so long, popped into the forefront of my mindset. She wanted to run away. So I did.”
Sadie: No relationship is perfect, Haven. Communication is so important.
Haven: Uh, how do you know what, uh, age Little you might be? If I was even into that.
Hayleigh: Try them all out. Whichever one makes you the happiest is probably where your headspace lives.
The story will be the ups and downs and the beginning of Colt and Haven exploring deeper into age-play rather than just the honorific term of Daddy that has been the case. Colt wants to take their relationship deeper, exploring different aspects of age-play to find a good fit for them. But, Haven is afraid, not of Colton, but of what she may discover, how it will affect their relationship, and her biggest fear is rejection and abandonment. She has acted out, being rude and disrespectful, knowing she is breaking the rules but craving his attention, even if it means punishment. It will take a stern but patient Colt to show her he is here to stay and loves her.

What a cute story to start out the second season of Rawhide Ranch. I love Haven and Colt and it was a page turner to see how their relationship was going to work out. When she overhears something Colt has said while on the phone, she bolts and runs to Rawhide Ranch. I loved seeing all the characters from last season's books and loved that the girls were able to talk to her about being a little! Of course, you know Colt is going to follow her and he knows he's messed up in their relationship and needs to make amends but it's going to be tough because Haven is fighting him every step of the way. Can they get their relationship back on track? Will Colt be able to assure Haven that he will not let her down? And can she finally see that maybe she really is a Little? Just a wonderful story that focused on the relationship of the characters.

Haven and Colton are having a little problem with their relationship. Haven knows she is a needy submissive and because of work commitments Colton has not been attending to her deliberate brattiness. In desperation she runs away to the Rawhide Ranch, not knowing that Colton had already made plans for them to spend some time there. One thing leads to another and they find themselves together at the Ranch searching to find the dynamic that will work for both of them. A well written, loving, story of self-discovery spiced up with some mutually desired discipline and mind blowing sex. Strongly recommended for those who love a little brattiness. 5 Stars

Haven has been off kilter. She and her boyfriend Colton have not been connecting like they used to. When she overhears a phone conversation she shouldn't, she runs to Rawhide Ranch, which is exactly the place Colton had planned to bring her. While there, they will need to put hard work into their relationship in order to get back on track, and build a future together.
This is a fun story about serious communication issues. Both MC's are rededicating themselves to their relationship, and get a beautiful HEA out of it. I really enjoyed this one! For fans of Adaline Raine, and/or Rawhide Ranch, it's a five star read well worth the one click!

One Witty Daddy & Sassy little equals A Perfect Read!
OMG!! This book made me SO HAPPY! I could not put this book down as it was exceptional well-written and I could not wait to see what happened next. Haven's character is so relatable and I just love seen her character development throughout the book. Colts character was divine and how he helped Haven overcome her insecurities as well as stepped up to when he was wrong. He is an awesome Daddy. So much fantastic SPICE! This book is a definite must read!! Guaranteed HEA!

I have only read a few of the Rawhide Ranch books so far. I thought this was a great addtion.
Colton has been so busy with his new career and Haven does not handle it well at all. she over hears a conversation and lets her brat get the best of her but she ends up running to the one place that is perfect for them to get back on track even though she doesn't realize it.
I loved the characters in this one. Colton is great at handling things with Haven and helping her explore. I related to Haven a lot because of how she feels when theres too much going on and what she needs to help clear those thoughts. I hope we see more of these two in other stories or more of their own story.

I enjoyed reading this story. It reads well. I liked Haven. She needs Coulton to step up and he does. There are plenty of hot spicy sexy scenes and some discipline, well deserved. All the characters are real and rounded. I love this series and I am always happy to go back to the ranch. I very highly recommend this book.

Unrealized potential
I’m sad to say this was my least favorite of the Rawhide Ranch books to date. The concept was good, but it never reached potential as there is very little actual story and even less character development. While most of the books in the series are fun hearted with a touch of angst and a healthy dose of domestic discipline thrown in, the point of this book seemed to be to find different reasons for Colt to use different implements or discipline techniques. Unfortunately, even the cameos by Sadie, Hayleigh, and Derek seemed forced and not true to their characters.

Wow!
This one hit home on so many different areas. Colton and Haven are an awesome couple with a few issues that need to be worked out before they can move forward. The Ranch is the perfect place to do just that. All the favorite characters and familiar locations. Great read! Loved it!

You can't go wrong reading this series. Beautifully written. I love the dynamic that sometimes we have roadblocks but they're not insurmountable.

I absolutely loved reading this book!! It was so fun and entertaining and me Turing page after page. Nothing like the mystery of Halloween to bring the love together.

Haven is insecure in her relationship with Colt. There has been a disconnect in their D/s agreement. Life and their work have taken priority, which happens for every couple. Rather than talking to him, she starts working for punishment and then calls red when he does punish her. When she overhears him on the phone, she thinks they are over. She runs to Rawhide Ranch, and her Little finally comes out. There is a lot of work to be done on their relationship, but they are committed to achieving their HEA. I love this series!

Haven and Colt thought that they ahd it all until they hit a big bump in the road. Colt has recently changed jobs to a new job that will let him spend more time with Haven, his wife but first he has to settle in. He has been working long hours and getting very tired. He knows he hasn't been giving Haven, his sub the attention that she needs but he thought things would calm down soon. What he didn't realize is that his distance is really affecting Haven. She is starting to doubt that he still wants and love her anymore. He has noticed that she has been acting up to get his attention but he hasn't had the time to deal with it. Then Haven shocks him by using her safe word. She has had enough of being ignored and pushed aside. She has even lost some of her trust. Colt is desperate enough to stop what he is doing and try to give Haven the attention she needs.
Haven is spiraling. She knows she should tell Colt how she is feeling instead of acting the brat. Things with Colt have gotten more confusing since he has been so busy. She has done her best to get attention but it seems like he doesn't care anymore. She couldn't handle him acting like everything was normal when she is struggling so she used her safe word. It definitely got her husband's attention. He even had some special surprises for her but she had very mixed feelings. He had bought her a pacifier and other ittle things. Haven is drawn to the Little things but she is also afraid of trying and failing to be a little. Her discomfort made her even snarkier. After a fun night filled with punishment and love, Have is hopeful things will work. Then she overhears Colt talking about really needing a break on the phone with someone. Assuming he was saying he needed a break from her needs, she runs away. She ends up at Rawhide ranch where Colt had suggested they take a vacation to. Luckily the people there know how to treat a Little in emotional turmoil. They encourage her to call Colt and arrange for the two to change their vacation week. Maybe being at the ranch will give Haven and Colt a second chance.

Haven has been acting out to get her boyfriend’s attention, but when she overhears something, she thinks she’s pushed too far. She runs off to Rawhide Ranch, where her boyfriend, Colt, follows, determined to prove his dominance and love. But will bring Haven’s Daddy be enough to bring them back together?
This was a little bit of a tougher read for me. You could 100% feel that there was a connection between the Haven and Colt, and you can’t help but hope that he can prove to her he’s serious about their needs, but I had to remind myself several times that this was consensual and that everything that happened fit both of their kinks and needs. Some of the fantasy was hard to get into because it wasn’t my needs, if that makes sense, so I couldn’t just drift away. But that being said, Haven was an interesting character. She craved closeness but hated talking about her emotions and needs. She wanted a deeper relationship, but was a brat. She had insecurities, which made her more relatable. Colt was a nice fit for her. I actually really loved that he didn’t consider himself a Dom in the traditional sense, but he was whatever Haven needed. He was realizing how much he (they both) messed up and was willing to fight to get them back on track. They were intense together. They had a lot of passion for each other. And I did love the ending! I loved how Rawhide Ranch played into their relationship and I loved seeing some of the previous Littles!

This story centers around a guy named Colton. He has been with a woman named Haven. She overhears Colton on the telephone telling someone that “they need a break”. Instead of sitting down and taking to Colton she runs away to Rawhide Ranch. She doesn’t tell Colton where she went or why. The owner of Rawhide Ranch talks to Haven and ends up calling Colton on the telephone and telling him where she is. Colton goes to the ranch determined to set the record straight with Haven about the problems in their relationship. Colton wanted to change the dynamic of their relationship to a Daddy/Little relationship and Haven was scared because of issues of her childhood. Colton goes to the ranch and he shows Haven that he is going to be her Daddy. I felt that Haven was reluctant to talk to Colton about what she was feeling and thinking. It wasn’t until the end that she was honest with him. I was disappointed that there wasn’t much Halloween 🎃 in this story at all. I would have liked more Halloween mixed in with the story.

Colton goes to the ranch and he shows Haven that he is going to be her Daddy. I felt that Haven was reluctant to talk to Colton about what she was feeling and thinking. It wasn’t until the end that she was honest with him. I was disappointed that there wasn’t much Halloween 🎃 in this story at all. I would have liked more Halloween mixed in with the story.

Disappointed
I was a bit disappointed in this latest in the Rawhide Ranch series. This book focuses more on the problems in a relationship rather than the joy of being Little. One of the key questions in the book was never answered: At what age is Haven*s Little? There was talk of her trying various age ranges, but little done other than a wardrobe change. I missed a lot of the details that I've enjoyed in other books in this series. Instead, I had to read about some pretty serious relationship issues. I hope for lighter fare the next time!

A cute Halloween story. All the stories about Rawhide Ranch are wonderful. After reading them you feel good and relaxed. Haven was upset with Colton for not paying any attention to her for the last few months and she was tired of this. So one night she was going to talk to him until she overheard his phone conversation they needed a break, but she did not stay around to find out what that meant. She assumed that Colton wanted a break from her, so she ran away to Rawhide Ranch because she found a card in her suitcase. Now you will have to read the book to see what happens next. Enjoy

My heart is so full! What a heartwarming story. Haven and Colton are going thru a bit of a rough patch and he is determined to get them on the right path. Haven has been acting out and does something that brings them to Rawhide Ranch. The best place for them to work out their issues. This story shows that if you love each other enough, anything is possible. Haven made me laugh and I really enjoyed their witty banter. Colton is the perfect Sir/Daddy for her and I rooted for them throughout. A definite must read!

My honest review: disappointing...things don’t make sense in this one: she calls “red” but he still demands she listen to him when he’s finally frisky and messing with her real-world job & still gives her a spanking??? 😶 She’s allowed to explore the Ranch without a “Top”?? Etc...

I love that this is about Colt and Haven who already have a relationship but are having a rocky time and adding something new. Haven definitely had a hard time worrying she was too much for Colt but I loved that he was there for her and made her feel loved. Haven was able to explore something she had secretly wanted with Colt and have him pushing back when she would brat. I thought these two were great and the ending was so much fun.
