Alta Hensley

Alta Hensley is a NYT & USA Today bestselling author of dark romance where the villain always gets the happily ever after.

Twisted, clever, and occasionally unhinged, her books deliver morally gray anti-heroes, sharp-tongued heroines, and happily ever afters that taste even sweeter after a little ruin. With a signature blend of grit, wit, and heat, Alta’s stories prove one thing: Villains deserve love too.

Alta lives on the foggy coast of Oregon with her husband, two daughters, and a pair of dogs who think they’re in charge. When she’s not writing redemption for the irredeemable, she’s walking the coastline or sipping craft beer in eccentric little bars that feel like they belong in her books.

Christmas at the Club has been on my wishlist for a while, and getting the ARC was the perfect gift!
A collection of short stories that all have something special.
And all of them are at clubs that deal with Christmas in their own delicious kinky way!
I’ve already updated throughout, but here are the slighty extended reviews for each story

A Not So Silent Night by Jennifer Bene

Jennifer takes us back to Black Night for a very special Christmas party with Jax,Chase and Emma. Jax is dreading the time they're going to spend at Emma's parents. How on earth are they going to survive staying there for 12 days, with their twins, and no chance of any kink? Unless...unless his subs can stay quiet, but can they? He struggles to get through the days, being a gentleman with the inlaws during the day,and not being allowed to let himself go as he wants during the night. When he finds an invitation in his inbox for New Years Eve at TPP, he jumps at the opportunity.

It was fun seeing the threesome again, and Jax being his usual dominant self was great to watch. Not just for me,but for Chase and Emma,too...

A Kinky Crossover by Livia Grant

Livia Grant is back at the Punishment Pit,where Tiffany is having a mental breakdown. Their place is still a mess from her Master’s family visit, she burnt the cookies she baked, and she still needs to wrap all of their gifts for her family. Luckily Master Lukus knows what to do. While it’s something he should’ve done sooner,it gets the job done. Until Jaxson from Black Light calls, and the tables are turned. Now Tiffany has to help him find a solution to the problem of where Jaxson and his subs are going to sleep. Before hé has a mental breakdown….

I loved it! It also left me with a need to find out how they, and Markus and Brianna, ended up where they are now…..

Villains and Champagne by Alta Hensley

Alta revisits Spiked Roses with Harley and Marlow. Even though Harley doesn’t want to go to the Tasting, once Marlow hears about it from Tennessee, she’s determined they do. Harley reluctantly agrees, but they’re only going on his terms. She wíll have to obey his command. Without arguing. And when she dóes,she’s going to feel the consequences. On her behind. But he has something else up his sleeve, too….

A short story with a nice twist. One that i liked!

Menage my Lawyers by Tara Crescent

Addie has been hiding from the world after her Dom died. Because Elliott's son contested the will in a dirty way,and her "friends" let him. But Xavier, close friend and owner of club M,has had enough. He sets up a meeting with not one,but two Doms. Daring her to scene with them. Only when she meets them, she finds out their firm represented her in court. But they are both irresistable, and she agrees to three scenes. Shane and Theo have both been interested in Addie for a long time, each for their own reasons. Having the opportunity to scene with her is something they don’t take lightly, and they plan to enjoy every minute. Once they get to know her, they know three scenes is not enough. But Addie needs to let them in,first. Is she ready to take that leap?

A story of loss in more ways than one. Of people behaving ugly when money is involved. And a story of getting a second chance at love.

A Very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel Joseph

Annabel Joseph takes us back to Club Mephisto, for a special Mephisto Christmas. And the gifts he has for his beloved slave and wife Molly are the kind of gifts she should know to expect after 10 years together. Which doesn’t mean she’s going to enjoy all of them…but she will do everything she can to please her Master in the end. Even if she has her weak moments. Even if it’s hard to find at times why she wants to submit to his sadistic plans.

It was good to see these two back again.
To see how they’ve grown in all those years, how they are two sides of the same coin. And fit beautifully together in handing out and receiving pain in the most devious and beautiful way.

Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith

Maren Smith is going back to the Castle, where not only Marshall, but all the Masters are in for an unpleasant surprise. Kaylee and the other Masters’ subs all feel they’re doing something wrong, and they’re going to show it in a way they’re sure the Masters will notice. When everything gets out of hand,Kaylee feels guilty for getting the other subs in trouble. On top of what she already felt regarding Marshall. Because she knows he does his best. And there’s their little boy…he needs attention, too…But why does she always feel like an …afterthought? Marshall knows something’s wrong, and after comparing notes with the other Masters,he knows what it is. How to make Kaylee talk about it,that is the question. Because he needs to fix it,before it’s too late….

Marshall and Kaylee clearly loved eachother, but the confirmation of that love got lost in the every day dealings of the Castle. Because she felt guilty about wanting his attention, she had trouble talking to him about it. And because he spent most of his time making everything run smoothly at the Castle,he didn’t notice until it was nearly too late. But when he did….i loved how he made amends!

Spanked by the Grinch by Sierra Cartwright

Sierra Cartwright’s Christmas is at Aviana’s club, and it’s as extravagant as you’d expect from her. Maddie is volunteering to help at the reception, and she likes it. Until Master Zander arrives…. He’s…intimidating as hell. Not only that,he looks like he hates Christmas, like a Grinch. But what she doesn’t know,is that she touches a nerve. And that he’s finally ready to play. Zander didn’t realize he was stuck in grief until he met Maddie. Her honest reply to his question somehow made him think. Even though she had a positive attitude,he could sense she’d been through rough times herself. And after spending a delicious night together,he finds he can’t let her go….

People grieve in different ways, and Maddie was lucky to have friends that helped her find a way forward. Zane didn’t really allow his friends to do the same, but Maddie arrived at the right time. A story with a sad undertone, but a happy ending. A great story!

Christmas ever After by Measha Stone

Measha takes us to the Annex, where Zoe arrives for her visit with her bestie Ellie. Nash is at the station to pick her up,but she rushes off with a taxi instead. Once he finds out the reason why,he sees a way out of both their problems. It shouldn't be tóó hard to stay married for a short time, right? He'll pay her debt,ánd he gets his inheritance. Even though Zoe knows he doesn't like her,it dóes sound like the perfect solution. After all,it's just for a short time. But she didn't count on developing feelings for him....and it hurts to know he'll be glad to see the back of her. Nash admires Zoe for being different, but some of her behaviour is reckless, and that won't do. Taking her in hand, making her see what risks she took, feels natural. Her reaction pleases him,and he hopes she's going to stay.
Lovely story!

Dare to be Naughty by Claire Thompson

Claire Thompson’s Head Master Hayden from the Master’s Club is a colleague of Dahlia, who moved to New York a few months ago. Both are doctors at Mount Sinai and after meeting for the first time, now eat together regularly in the hospital’s restaurant. After she apologizes for her ill remark when he hinted at the lifestyle,he is tempted to find out if she ís submissive after all. The signs are there, and she seems eager to explore. Taking her to the club without knowing for sure is a bad plan. So,they agree to test her first before making a decision how to proceed. Her reactions to his commands during that evening are promising. What will happen when he takes her to the Club for the Christmas party, though? How will she respond to seeing her fantasies, and so much more,in real life?

Loved the introduction, and i am very curious where these two end up!

A Sassy Christmas by Golden Angel

A Sassy Christmas is special, and not just because it’s Adam and Angel’s story. These two have had a place in my heart from the moment i met them in their club,Stronghold. And now they have a baby!
Melody may be the girl they’ve always wanted, the side-effects are less desirable. Angel isn’t feeling like before she got pregnant, and her libido is totally missing…
Adam misses what they had before, but how can he get it back?
What is different now,not counting their sweet baby?
Is there something he can change?
Can he help Angel find her sassy back?

This sweet story shows that not everyone enjoys their pregnancy, and that giving birth can mess with more than your body….
Finding the key to having fun in your marriage again,is something you do together. In your own time and pace.
Not everyone jumps back into bed for a good tumble after 6 weeks, but if you love eachother, you wíll get there in the end!

Secret Santa by Samantha A Cole

Samantha’s club Covenant has a special game this Christmas. One where the single subs and Doms are paired. But the subs have to guess who the Dom is that picked their snowflake. Matthew is longing for a Dom to call his own,one that can give him the pain he craves. When he meets Del for the first time,he hopes he’s the one. Seeing Matthew, and hearing more about him, stirrs something in Del and he decides to act upon it. Even though he has to wait for 2 weeks,he knows the imp is worth it. This is a boy that works hard, thinks of others, and isn’t materialistic. He won’t behave differently when he finds out Del has money….he shows he’s interested in him,as a person. When the evening goes beyond expectations for both, they both want to explore the possibilities.

Sweet,painful,and lovely story!

Sing for Me by Kay Elle Parker

Avalon’s Master Loki is back in time for Christmas and looks forward to playing with a sub. When he sees one sitting alone, looking miserable,he doesn’t think twice and joins her. Myna doesn’t feel she deserves a second chance, but Atticus insisted she’d visit the club while she was in town. Playing with Loki, even after he heard what she’s done,is a true Christmas gift. The way he finds her submissive self and makes it shine,is something she will forever be grateful for. Even if it hurts to leave him afterwards. Even though she thinks she’s bad news and deserved to be treated in such a painful way,Loki is mad at those who treated her so badly because of what she did,and he knows exactly what to do. Their scene is beautiful, and he enjoys her responses very much. Letting her go afterwards is not an option….Sweet story!

Gift of Two by Dani René

Seven Sins’ Master Oliver is giving Chase the ultimate gift for Christmas. His pet loves his sister and her family,so they’re going to Chicago for Christmas. Not only that,he plans to give Chase his deepest desire,a family of his own. Oliver may be a sadist at heart, but he’s willing to do anything for him. The man that used to be so cold, has a soft spot for his pet a mile wide, and even though he never thought he’d want to,having a family with him feels good. With Chase,he’s ready to become a father.
A lovely story.

A Naughty Christmas Eden by LK Shaw

Club Eden’s Gareth is worried about his wife. Lizzie is having a tough time dealing with the miscarriage of their child. Even though she loves their daughter Chloe with all her heart, she still feels likes she failed Gareth. She wanted to give him and Chloe a large family. Spending time at the club is a good idea,it’s been too long since they went. When she finally allows her grief to come out after they scene,Gareth is relieved. This is the first step towards healing for both. Because they need to grieve together. They need to share their pain. And from there find a way forward, together.

Losing a child is traumatic. They are a product of your love. They are your future, and they are supposed to outlive you. Losing a child changes your life, even if you haven’t held it yet….This story gave a tiny glimpse into that pain, and it was done with empathy.

My Wicked Christmas Treat by Ann Mayburn

Club Wicked’s Mistress Brandy is looking forward to spending Christmas with her power sub Dean. But when he finds out she’s been faking it when he goes down on her,he loses it and leaves. Luckily,he ís smart enough to go to fellow club members Jesse and Anya. She asks a very important question, one he didn’t ask Brandy…Once he does,he knows exactly what to do and sets his plans into motion. The outcome is very satisfying!
Great short story.

Yule be Mine by Pepper North

Pepper North brings Noelle to Sanctum for a visit with her brother Nicky and his Daddy,Lance. Seeing what they have, makes her long for her own Daddy. One that wants to keep her. Lance has a plan, though….and she’s in for a pleasant surprise! Because they introduce her to their neighbor,Slater. A Daddy she knows is perfect, but will he want her? When he obviously does, she panics. How can this feel só right,só fast? Good thing Daddy knows what’s best. The way he calms her, just by holding her in his arms, shows her they’re really meant to be.

Normally,i’m not a fan of insta-love,but Pepper showed me there’s always an exception. Loved the calm and caring way in which Slater showed Noelle she was his one and only little. That he’d do anything to make her happy. Just as she needed….

A Devilish Santa by Linzi Basset

Linzi Basset takes us back to her club, Devil’s Cove. Lois Rickett finally returned, needing help to deal with what happened to her. When she sees her long time crush,Jaxon Brodie,he doesn’t recognize her. She seizes his offer of playing with him, knowing he’s the perfect Dom to help her get past her trauma. Jaxon is intrigued by this scarred little elf,and he knows he wants her as his for the evening. The longer they play, the more he seems to want more, and that never happens. There has always been only one he wanted, and knew he could never have….What will happen when he finds out who she is?

Both Lois and Jaxon have experienced something traumatic, and they recognized it in eachother. The bond that’s still there, her trust in him, makes the evening even more special. Makes her surrender to his dominance even more beautiful. And the way he told Bruce and Ethan what was going to happen? Loved it!

I loved these stories of Christmas At The Club by all of these fabulous authors. Some had me reminiscing and getting reacquainted with some loved characters and some were new to me.
Jennifer Bene’s A Not So Silent Night brought a Christmas treat visiting Jaxon, Chase and Emma. And a leather tree created by Elijah and Tyler.
A Kinky Crossover by Livia Grant immersed us with Lukus and Tiffany in The Punishment Pit. And also some favourites like Markus and Brianna, and Derek and Rachel as well as the appearance of loved characters from Black Light.
Alta Hensley took us back to the top shelf with Villains and Champagne and a party with Harley and Marlowe that turned into so much more.
Measha Stone gave us a brief glimpse into Nash and Zoe in Christmas Ever After and there may be a marriage of convenience.
Kay Elle Parker gave us Sing for Me with Loki and Myna. But my goodness that oops over the barrel was jaw dropping!
Dani Rene gave us Gift of Two with Chance and Oliver and a surprise.
Linzi Basset wrote A Devilish Santa with Jaxon, who is Ethan’s son and Lois and it was delicious.

As a lover of Anthologies, I am always looking for ones where the steam comes off the pages. Which is why I couldn’t wait for this one! Be prepared for your fingers to burn as you turn the pages!!

A Not So Silent Night by Jennifer Bene - Omg! My favorite of the Black Light characters is the trio - Jaxson, Chase & Emma! They are attending a Christmas party at BL West and you know what that means! All kinds of delicious fun! Plus any parent knows you always need some time alone for the escapades these three get into. You can’t help but love them and any story that is written about them makes my heart full!

A Kinky Crossover by Livia Grant - I’m a huge lover of The Punishment Pit series and was delighted to hear that more of these fabulous characters were in this Anthology! There is just so much to love about Lukus & Tiffany, Markus & Brianna and Derek & Rachel. This time all the fun leads up to the New Years party of which you just know will be filled with all sorts of dirty fun! And what fun it is!

Villains & Champagne by Alta Hensley - is a very hot read. From beginning to end you can feel the heated tension between Marlowe and Harley. Harley is very possessive of Marlowe and doesn’t want the world to see her as anything except his. When Marlowe begs for them to attend the club holiday party, she has no idea what’s she’s asked for! Very, very steamy read!

Ménage My Lawyers by Tara Crescent - This is a very heartwarming story about second chances at love. Addie is a young woman trying to get o de the Liss of her love, her Dominant. She gets a call from a dear friend to tell her that two men, Theo and Shane would like to meet with her and scene. But can she get over her heartache even though it’s been a while? I loved the interactions between these three. They just meshed well together, but can they convince Addie it’s time to move on? Really enjoyed this story.

A Very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel Joseph - this story is about Molly, a Slave, and Mephisto, her Master, lover and husband. This story explains the dynamics between a Master and Slave and how Molly will go to any lengths to please him. So when he gives her a special Christmas gift, can she endure what is to come? I loved the deep love and intensity between these two amazing characters. A very sexy read.

Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith - What a funny, yet poignant story. Any married couple knows that sometimes you are so busy taking care of others, you forget about each other. Kaylee and Marshall are one of those couples, and Kaylee is unsure how to explain it to him. So she goes about it in a funny way, but also a heart melting one. When she finally confronts Marshall, I literally cried with her words, but they were good tears. I absolutely loved this story!

Spanked by the Grinch by Sierra Cartwright - This is about Maddie and Zander. Two people with so much sadness in their past that they have both closed off their hearts to any kind of relationship. That is until Zander shows up at the Club and the first person he sees is Maddie. She is beautiful, kind and caring and he is thrown off by his connection to her. Should these two act on this connection and see where it goes?? You will need to read this to find out what happens!

Christmas Ever After by Measha Stone - Nash is the disciplinarian at the Annex and every time Zoe comes to town, she drives him crazy! He would love to take her to task, but Zoe never gives him the chance. That is until he makes her a proposal that she just can’t say no to. I love her spirit and how she can push all of Nash’s buttons, but deep down I get the feeling she wants him like he wants her, even though neither will admit it. If you want to know what this proposal is, then read this sexy story!

Dare to be Naughty by Claire Thompson - I really enjoyed this story as it shows the exploration into the BDSM world. Dahlia is a lover of romance BDSM books but until she discovers her friend Hayden, is involved in that world, she never thought she might experience it in real life. This story shows the process of determining if she is actually submissive and how she would handle being in a Club. I found this story to not be only entertaining, but enlightening!

A Sassy Christmas by Golden Angel - This story speaks to so many couples after having children and how they affect their personal time. Angel and Adam are a happily married couple with a little girl. Angel wants to please Adam, but since having their daughter, she has no urges anymore. This story tells the struggles, the trials, the patience and the love between these two. Adam just wants Angel to feel good about herself and will do anything to help her.

Secret Santa by Samantha A. Cole - I need a friend like Matthew! He is such a lovable character that you can’t help but fall in love with him! When Del meets Matthew at the Club, he is instantly enamored with him. Not just because he is good looking, but because he is so likable and lovable! So when the Club has a special Secret Santa going on, Del is determined to make Matthew his! These two have such incredible chemistry! I could read about them for days on end!

Sing for Me by Kay Elle Parker - I’m a lover of the Club Avalon series and am infatuated with Loki, so I was glad this was about him. He is a kind, patient, caring, yet very dominant Master at the Club. When he sets eyes on a beautiful woman, naturally he goes up to her. When he talks to Myna, she is completely thrown off her game. Could Loki be the one to make her feel like a woman again? The sparks between these two are sizzling and I loved every single word!

Gift of Two by Dani Rene - One of my first ever BDSM series is the Sins of Seven! I was elated to find out the story would be about Oliver and Chance. Oliver is a strong minded Dominant who found his match in Chance. This story just brings me back to how perfect these two are together. Oliver has a very special Christmas present for Chance and is a bit nervous about it. But he also doesn’t know about the special gift from Chance that just solidifies his love for him. My heart is so full after reading this story!

A Naughty Christmas Eden by L.K. Shaw - This is about a married couple, Gareth and Livvy coming to terms with a loss in their lives and how they need to bring the spark back. They go to Club Eden for a party and meet up with their friends. But they realize they just need some time alone and just enjoy each other again. This story was very heartwarming and you could just feel the love coming off the pages.

My Wicked Christmas Treat by Ann Mayburn - Brandy and Dean are a couple who are in a Mistress/Sub dynamic. When Brandy tells Dean a secret that could change how he feels, he isn’t sure how to handle it. Could he show her how he can prove to her how much he loves her? These two are definitely perfect for each other, and I enjoyed how he decides to show her how he feels. I found this story to be very entertaining and steamy.

Yule Be Mine by Pepper North - I love the Sanctum series and this one about Noelle and Slater just about melted my heart! Noelle has been looking for a Daddy, so when she comes to visit her brother on the ranch, she has no idea what will happen. Until she meets Slater! The instant connection between them made me just know in my heart they belonged together. A delightful story!

The Devilish Santa by Linzi Bassett - If you are a lover of the Club Devil’s Cove series, or even if you haven’t read it yet, you are going to love this devilish holiday story! Lois is a submissive who has demons in her past she wants to get rid of. So she comes to the Club to find the one person who she believes can help her, Jaxon. But will Jaxson remember her after all these years? When Jaxson sees Lois, he feels something familiar, but is unsure why. All he knows is that he has a deep seated attraction for her and wants to take her to the heights of passion. When these two are together you can feel the steam coming off the pages! Such intensity, such deliciousness! Will these two figure out their connection? I truly enjoyed this story and want more of these two incredible characters!

This anthology takes place at various BDSM clubs across the US during Christmas. Because they're parts of multiple, already established series, none are stand-alones; indeed, some feature already existing pairings. While I sort of expected this, the blurb should have included a disclaimer. It also needed trigger warnings for severe impact play, hardcore scenes, and dub-con (though most were consensual). And before anyone says I don't understand BDSM, this isn't my first day, believe me. Authors concerned about ratings self-sabotage when they provide no disclaimers.

Fans of individual authors' BDSMverses will enjoy this; whether these same people will also like other stories is the sixty-four thousand dollar question. Curious, then, as to how well this sold? I guess we'll see if there's a sequel next Christmas.

My thoughts on individual stories in order of their appearance; YMMV:

1) "A Not So Silent Night:" Jennifer Bene/Black Light. Familiar series. Emma, Jaxson, and Chase have meltdowns when they experience first-world problems can't have sex for twelve days while they holiday with her parents without their Nanny. I began it even though the deeply unpleasant manchild Jax is one of my least favorite characters and I'm not a fan of ménage. But then the author introduced probably the most off-putting trope of all time: a "redeemed" rapist (from Rocked) and I was out. If watching someone experience no consequences for a brutal rape "rocky start" is your own personal wet dream, go for it. DNF/1 star.

2) "A Kinky Crossover:" Livia Grant/Punishment Pit & Black Light. Familiar series. Jaxson, Chase, and Emma from "Black Light" go to the "Punishment Pit" for New Year's Eve (so they can get that aforementioned sex). This is a club so awful that in the past it punished rape victims. (I think I'm sensing a trend in this book's attitude towards rape? Oh, sorry, what do Jennifer Bene & Livia Grant call it in a podcast? "Push the boundaries?" Right.) The little I read here wasn't much better; only for those who enjoy extreme sadism and really unpleasant male characters who think that beating their wives is preferable to actually listening to them. DNF/1 star.

3) "Villains & Champagne:" Alta Hensley/Top Shelf. Familiar Series. Marlowe wants to go to the dungeon party; her dom, Harley, doesn't. I've read a couple in this series, but it was so long ago that I don't remember these characters, so I felt no connection to them. There was nothing wrong with this story; I just wasn't invested. 3 stars.

4) "Ménage My Lawyers:" Tara Crescent/Club Ménage. Ordinarily, I would try this since I don't know this author, but ménage is not my kink. Didn't read.

5) "A Merry Mephisto Christmas:" Annabelle Joseph/Club Mephisto. New-to-me series. Nothing on earth could motivate me to finish a story where torture is disguised as BDSM and a supposed "master" believes that love is a "test" his "slave" has to pass. DNF/1 star.

6) "Keeping Kaylee:" Maren Smith/The Castle. Familiar series. The Castle submissives feel neglected by their doms so Kaylee hatches a plan. While the plan itself was silly, the underlying message -- that relationships need nourishing -- was a good one. Also, atypically for a Maren Smith story, the sub didn't just give in and the dom actually apologizes. While there were some inconsistencies (no one seemed to feel cold in a Midwestern winter) and I'd rather not think about children living in a BDSM club, the characters were likable. 4 stars.

7) "Spanked by The Grinch:" Sierra Cartwright/Titans. Familiar series. Grumpy meets Sunshine when Grinch Zander encounters Maddie the Elf. I've read two other books in this series and didn't continue because while the writing was fine, I didn't find the characters or the narratives that compelling. Lack of plot, however, is less important in a short story; thus, I did like this. The characters were sweet; the dynamics not OTT; and this was one of the few stories where Christmas actually figured into the plot. 4 stars.

8) "Christmas Ever After:" Measha Stone/Annex. Familiar series. Nash must get married by Christmas Day or he'll lose his inheritance. Enter cash-strapped Zoe. This starts in medias res so perhaps we've met these characters before? If so, I don't remember them. Pretty predictable, but the characters are likable enough and Nash ultimately cared for Zoe. 3 1/2 stars.

9) "Dare to Be Naughty:" Claire Thompson/Masters Club. Familiar series. Newbie Dahlia wants to prove to Dominant Hayden that she has what it takes, because a relationship is a test, doncha you know? Dahlia's desperation made little sense; nothing much happens since the MC don't participate in scenes; name-calling is a hard limit for me; it ends in a cliffhanger; and is little more than a teaser for the next book in the series -- given that the characters aren't that interesting, I'm not sure how that storyline will develop. That said, it is consensual and Hayden does respect Dahlia. I will read the actual book since I've liked most of the series. 2 1/2 stars.

10) "A Sassy Christmas:" Golden Angel/Stronghold & Marquis. Familiar series. This is a semi-autobiographical account of how one couple addresses post-pregnancy libido loss. I appreciated the unusual (for this genre) conflict, realism, self-reflexivity (shoutout to "niche genre interests"), and Ms. Angel's very thoughtful author's note. Bit repetitious and slow-moving, though. 3 1/2 stars.

11) "Secret Santa:" Samantha A. Cole/Covenant. New-to-me series. M/M is not my preferred pairing. I appreciate the diversity in representation, though. Didn't read.

12) "Sing For Me:" Kay Elle Parker/Club Avalon. Familiar series. Former Domme Myna tries submission with Loki. Can he allay her fears? This series is filled with backstories that would rival Job's so I haven't really enjoyed them since I don't like OTT melodrama. Thankfully, this isn't the case here. While Myna has some baggage, it was manageable and believable. I also appreciated that unlike many generic submissives, she was prickly. Loki was very good to her; I liked the two together; and would read a longer book about them, which the ending seems to hint at. 4 stars.

13) "Gift of Two:" Dani René/Seven Sins. New-to-me series. M/M isn't my preferred pairing. I appreciate the diversity in representation, though. Didn't read.

14) "Naughty Christmas Eden:" L.K. Shaw/Club Eden. New-to-me series. Married couple Livvie and Gareth go to Club Eden after a family tragedy. I enjoyed this MC: they were likeable, mature, and believable (my preference). I want to warn potential readers that this does deal with the topic of miscarriage, which I thought the author handled sensitively. 4 stars.

15) "My Wicked Christmas Treat:" Ann Mayburn/Club Wicked. New-to-me series. While I appreciated that this contained the unusual (for this genre) pairing of a female dominant and male sub, it was ultimately too porn-y for me. Others may enjoy this meditation on oral sex more than I. DNF/No stars.

16) "Yule Be Mine:" Pepper North/Club Sanctum. New-to-me series. This Age Play author went on my "never again" list when she wrote one of the top five most unpleasant books I've ever read in this genre (short version: the MMC threatened to abuse a child to get what he wanted). Didn't read.

17) "A Devilish Santa:" Linzi Bassett/Club Devil Cove. New-to-me series. Lois' dream dom is someone she knew when they were children; so why doesn't he recognize her? I didn't like this. The Islamophobia, blood relatives playing at the same kink club (a hard limit for me), and non-idiomatic, clunky prose were too off-putting. I strongly suggest this author get an editor, if only to save readers from sentences like this: "He decided to bank the realization to later withdraw for examination the questions of who she was and why she had arrived at a club where she very clearly wanted to remain anonymous." If you can get through this tortuous prose, go for it. DNF/1 star.

3 stars. The editing was reasonably decent (the last entry excepted) and I did like some stories, but all the authors are responsible for the bad decision not to provide disclaimers. Note: Black Collar Press, the publisher, did not do its usual Valentine's Day anthology this year; perhaps they're switching to Christmas? I prefer the "Roulette" series since at least you know what you're getting. This one, on the other hand, has several surprises, many deeply unpleasant.

Christmas at the Club is a BDSM anthology featuring 17 stories from 17 authors. I started the year with an anthology so it's seems appropriate to finish with one.

A Not so Silent Night by Jennifer Bene

We're back with Emma, Chase and Jaxson and there are festivities to be had by all. Christmas with this throuple will certainly be interesting.

A Kinky Crossover by Lucia Grant

This story is apart of The Punishment Pit Series and follows Lukus and Tiffany and gives you another pov from Marcus and Brianna. It's new years eve at The Punishment Pit and things are gonna get kinky. If you haven't, check this series out, as each book is different couple in each book.

Villains and Champagne by Alta Hensley

This story is from the Top Shelf series and features Harley and Marlowe. I haven't had a chance to dig into. This series but after reading this, I'm excited to see what this series is all about. When Marlowe wants to go to the holiday party at the Spiked Rose, Harley is determined to make it the best experience for a lifetime. This story is not and heavy and I loved it.

Menagé My Lawyers by Tara Crescent

This is a full length story in the Club Menagé series. Adeline, Theo and Shane may all be different but their attraction to Adeline is what brings them together. Hearing what Adeline went through broke my heart and seeing Theo and Shane try to break down her walls was equally heartbreaking. This story has an HEA and no cliffhanger. I have read read Tara Crescent's books but I'm excited to.

A Very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel Joseph

It's the annual Mephisto Christmas party at Club Mephisto and Santa's bag is filled with goodies for all the good subs. Molly and Master's story is short spicy read that will teach you that good things come to those who wait.

Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith

It's Christmas time in The Castle and all the Littles have something mischievous up their sleeves. But for one couple the situation is dire and requires immediate attention. This trope is one that I've been curious about and have maybe dipped a tie into reading but I'm excited to read more.

Spanked by the Grinch by Sierra Cartwright

Sander and Maddie's short story is heartwarming and full of Christmas magic. Maddie made Zander realize that there can be love after loss. This story was amazing and I can can't wait to read more.

Christmas Ever After by Measha Stone

Christmas Ever After is a Marriage of Convenience that turns to a lot more. Nash needs to marry in order to collect his inheritance and Zoe, well she borrow more trouble than she can handle. This a quick and steamy read and I absolutely loved it.

Dare to be Naughty by Claire Thompson

This is a novella in the Club Masters series and is Dahlia and Hayden's story. This story is definitely more slower paced and definitely takes it ti.e to build up. I loved read I g this story and can't wait to read more.

A Sassy Christmas by Golden Angel

This story is about the trials and tribulations of bouncing back after giving birth and funding that spark with tour partner once more. Read as Adam and Angel find themselves on a journey of rediscovering the spark that once was lit.

Secret Santa by Samantha A Cole

I loved this story so much. Matthew and Del had sparks flying from the first time they met. This story's is part of the Doms of Covenant series and my first foray into Samantha A Cole's books. I really loved these two characters so much and hope to see them in future reads.

Sing For Me By Kay Elle Parker

I was not ready for Myna and Loki's story to end. Their story is part of the Club Avalon series and features different couples in each book. I really hope to see Loki and Myna in the future. There was something about this story that just drew me in I really want more.

Gift of Two By Dani René

Gift of two is in the Sins of Seven series and Chance and Oliver taking their relationship to the next level. This Christmas story is hot and spicy and will leave you wanting more.

A Naughty Christmas Eden by LK Shaw

The Doms of Club Eden series is a favorite of mine because it was the first series I've read by LK Shaw. I especially loved Gareth and Olivia. These two are back with a Christmas short that is guaranteed to leave you full of the Christmas spirit.

My Wicked Christmas Treat by Ann Mayburn

Brandy and Dean's story was a journey of discovering that some pleasures are ok to enjoy. If your a fan of Buck Rogers role play, this story will delight you.

Yule be Mine By Pepper North

We are back with the littles and their daddies from the Sanctum series. This is Noelle and Slater's Christmas journey of discovering that some unexpected things are the best. I love Pepper North's book and I can't wait to dive back into the world of littles.

A Devilish Santa by Linzi Basset

A soldier on a leave of absence and a women who thinks all hope is lost. This story was such a good read. Linzi Basset is a new author to me but I can't wait to see check their books.

This whole collection of stories were amazing and I even found some authors I haven't read before. I highly recommend this anthology if you like BDSM.

A Very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel Joseph
10 years later and these two are still as hard-core as ever. The difference now, you can feel the bond between them that is beyond M/s but also husband and wife and parents. All the things we love about these two, with some festive fantasies being played out <3

Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith
Yay, we’re at The Castle and things are not as happy as they seem ☹ Kaylee and the ladies are up to some hijinks that are first frustrating, and then worrying their Doms. Marshall and Kaylee made me cry at Christmas, but then they more than made up for it. This couple learned that family and relationships need tending and to slow down and enjoy each other 😊

Spanked by the Grinch by Sierra Cartwright
Sierra never fails to give us a spanking good time, and Maddie and Zander did just that! A wonderful Christmas extravaganza has these two exploring the sparks that came up between them. They quickly realize they have an emotional connection as well that makes them not want to walk away, so they don’t!

Dare to be Naughty by Claire Thompson
This is a starter for a relationship and a hot one at that! These two have been building a relationship as friends for awhile as the sparks grew. Do they line up with their kinks, once known, as he has all the experience and she has done her research, it would appear so. One hot night in the club seems to indicate they line up, but we’ll have to wait to see how it play out!

I just finished Christmas at the Club and all I can say is thank you. I knew most of these authors and the clubs that these stories were set in. Some were a glimpse into a couple we’ve already received their story. And some were stories in a familiar location, with new couples (or throuples as the case may be). So, I warn you, this will be a long review as I’ll write about each of these 17 stories. But believe me, it will be worth it.

A Not So Silent Night by Jennifer Bene is set in Black Light: West and features in infamous trio, Jaxson, Chase and Emma. Dominant partner Jaxson is feeling annoyed at the prospect of two weeks at the in-laws for Christmas. Thankfully the Holiday party at Black Light: West gives him a perfect opportunity to have a night away from child with Chase and Emma and wield his dominance. There is a nice segue at the end to The Punishment Pit in Chicago and the next story in this anthology.

A Kinky Crossover by Livia Grant is set at The Punishment Pit and features Tiffany and Lukas. Thankfully this is my favored couple from The Punishment Pit series. Tiffany is a bit of an organized control freak in her everyday life and has some major brat melt downs with things don’t go perfectly. I could really feel her frustration and knew exactly how out of control situations like that feel. Thankfully Lukas knows exactly how to take care of the situation, both at home and at the club. Most of us could only wish we had a Dom so caring.

Villains & Champagne by Alta Hensley is set at Spiked Roses (Top Shelf Series) and features Harley and Marlowe. Marlowe and Harley met at Spiked Roses but since being together they don’t seem to frequent the club like they used to. She insists they attend the annual holiday party. Harley is possessive, he doesn’t want to share her with anyone, even one look. Once there Marlowe isn’t so sure coming was a good idea but Harley makes sure she gets what she needed.

Menage My Lawyers by Tara Crescent is set at Club M (Club Menage Series) and Features Addie, Theo and Shane. This was a new throuple we meet in a familiar setting. Addie is a widow who hasn’t been with anyone since her husband died two years ago. When a friend suggests a scene with two men she decides to take him up on the offer. The two want more than one scene though and negotiate a slightly longer contract. I really fell for these guys and how they each were unique but still were on the same page to ensure she got exactly what she needed. That they possible would get their HEA was an added bonus.

A Very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel Joseph is set at Club Mephisto and features Molly and Mephisto. I loved that this was a well-established couple who have been together ten years and kept the kink alive. This couple is in a Master/slave relationship and it can be considered a bit more hardcore than just D/s. The story is a three day weekend in some hardcore BDSM, but knowing the loving relationship of this couple made the story hot.

Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith is set at the Castle (Masters of the Castle series) and features Kaylee and Marshall. Marshall is the Master of the Castle and Kaylee is his whirlwind of a wife and sub. Kaylee has recruited the other wives/subs of the castles in a scheme for Christmas. She and the other ladies are tired of feeling neglected by the Masters and have found a way to snag their attention. I actually was sobbing by the end of this story it was so emotional for me. I hate to say it was my favorite in the entire series, but it really was. I love Kaylee and Marshall and this story was perfect.

Spanked by the Grinch by Sierra Cartwright is set at the Quarter (Titans the Quarter Series) featuring Maddie and Zander. This was a new to me author, so I was happy to see this was a new couple book. Maddie thinks Zander is arrogant (he is a Dom of course) and refers to him as a grinch. Zander is attracted to her and senses she has hidden pain, similar to him. He convinces her to scene with him and gives her the night of her life. It was definitely an insta-love kind of romance, but I liked it. And there were enough intriguing secondary characters I think I need to check out the rest of the books in this series.

Christmas Ever After by Measha Stone is set at the Annex (Ever After Series) and features Ellie and Nash. Ellie is best friends with Zoe, who is married to Ash, owner of the Annex where Nash is the house disciplinarian. They know each other and have been attracted to each other, but never acted on it. The story is a marriage of convenience one, with a kinky bent. These two had a very satisfying HEA.

Dare to be Naughty by Claire Thompson is set at the Masters Club and features Dahlia and Hayden. Another new to me author, Dahlia and Hayden are co-workers who have flirted a bit. When he makes reference to kink, she laughs at people like that, even though secretly she’d like to know more. Later apologizing, she gets herself invited to the annual holiday party at his club. The story ends at the end of their night together when she tells him she thought it was interesting but not for her. He confronts her lie, but the rest of the story continues with an upcoming book More Than a Dare. I now MUST read this story because my OCD won’t allow me not too. Of course, I’ll have to read the other stories in the series as well.

A Sassy Christmas by Golden Angel is set at Stronghold and features Angel and Adam. It was a different kind of story of a couple trying to sexually reconnect after having a child when the wife is the one with a low libido. I loved how Adam knew what was happening, wasn’t really sure how to fix things, but wasn’t going to give up on them. And Angel is so vulnerable, hating her responses but unable to change how she was feeling. It was a great real life in fiction kind of story and a good look at some old friends.

Secret Santa by Samantha A. Cole is set at The Covenant (Doms of the Covenant Series) and features a new couple Matthew and Del. Matthew is looking for a gay Dom who could tick all the boxes. Del is new to Florida and the club, a tech multi-millionaire who wants to find a sub who wants him for him and not his money. The Secret Santa at the club gives them both an opportunity to explore. I loved how this story ties into her new Master Key Resort series and I hope we will see more of Matthew and Del.

Sing for Me by Kay Elle Parker is set at Club Avalon and features Loki and Myna. Myna has a tie back to the Black Light club, so that was a nice little tie-in. A former switch who truly is more sub, she’s made a lot of mistakes in life and although she doesn’t want to admit it, she’s looking for some redemption as well as forgiveness. The story ends in a HFN, but I’m hoping we see this couple again (hint, hint).

Gift of Two by Dani Rene is set at Seven Sins and features Oliver and Chance. This is another glimpse back at a well-loved couple story. This was probably the one story I didn’t connect all that well with, I think because I haven’t read the original story with this couple so I felt like I was coming into the middle of something. It was good, but I feel like I need to go back and read the first one.

A Naughty Christmas Eden by L.K. Shaw is set at Club Eden and features Livvie and Gareth. After suffering a devastating loss, the two of them are looking to reconnect at the club. Gareth gets some good advice from his mom to make sure to be there when Livvie’s ready to open up to him. He’s determined to make sure their scene gives her all the things she needs. Awesome story with great HEA and even more follow ups.

My Wicked Christmas Treat by Ann Mayburn is set at Club Wicked and features Brandy and Dean. This story gave me pause for a second, because I initially thought she was a different character from this same series. But now, on with the review. Brandy has a very real life issue a lot of women have, she doesn’t really enjoy Dean going down on her. And so, she’s been faking it. After a pretty big argument and make up, the two go to the Club and work out their issues.

Yule Be Mine by Pepper North is set at SANCTUM and features Noelle (how Christmassy) and Slater. Noelle is Nicky’s sister and a fellow Little who is looking for her Daddy. Slater is a new resident to SANCTUM and looking for his Little. This is another insta-love story, but I’m okay with that. Noelle has a moment of doubt that her new Daddy has to help her through, but it’s mostly smooth sailing for this new couple and their HEA.

A Devilish Santa by Linzi Basset is set at Club Devil’s Cove and features Lois and Jaxon. Jaxon is the son of one of the owners and Lois is the niece of another. Although they are attracted to each other, neither of them acted on it. At this holiday party there are masks, but I was surprised he didn’t recognize her when they ran into each other in the parking lot. This is effectively explained later in the story. Nice little HEA.

As a wrap up, I found these stories to be 4/5 Stars and awesome reads. A lovely Christmas present from some of my favorite authors.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

wonderful BDSM Anthology

I really loved most of these stories. Each story is set in a BDSM Club with the always steamy action taking place during the Christmas season. Each story is a very fine introduction to the BDSM series that they have centered around a BDSM Club and so if you are not familiar with a particular writer this book will be a good way for you to figure out if you would like to read more by them. In my case I was already familiar with most, but not all. I highly recommend this book if you like Great BDSM stories.

This terrific anthology is the perfect way to get your sizzling read on. This massive anthology offers up 17 tempting tales filled with a stimulating combination of intense emotions, blazing hot scenes and delicious kink. My most favorite stories were: 1. Sing For Me by Kay Elle Parker. Master Loki and Myna got my temperature on the rise but as always with this author's work, there is an underlying layer of depth, meaning and heart that helps pack a very potent punch of feels, 2. A Not So Silent Night by Jennifer Bene. It is always wonderful to check in with Emma, Chase and Jaxson. This trio knows how to skillfully hit you with the perfect balance of heat and heart and that is exactly why we love them so much, 3. A Sassy Christmas by Golden Angel. So many readers are going to be able to relate to Adam and Angel and their story. It is emotional, honest, heat filled and heartfelt. Keep in mind that these were just my top three favorites but honestly, they are all great. Livia Grant's A Kinky Crossover which was so fun, Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith which yanked on my poor old heartstrings so hard, Gift of Two by Dani Rene was scorching and heartfelt, Villains & Champagne by Alta Hensley offered lots of heat & heart, A Very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel Joseph had a real sweetness to it, Menage My Lawyers by Tara Crescent had my heart aching but also filled it with hope, Dare to be Naughty by Claire Thompson was an intriguing start that left me eager for more of this couple, Spanked by the Grinch by Sierra Cartwright was spark filled and moving, Secret Santa by Samantha A. Cole was cute & emotional, My Wicked Christmas Treat by Ann Mayburn was quite relatable, Christmas Ever After by Measha Stone had me enjoying the simmer, A Naughty Christmas Eden by L.K. Shaw is a story that goes straight for your heart with a wicked sharp punch, Yule Be Mine by Pepper North hit me with feels and sweetness and A Devilish Santa by Linzi Basset was a fun and tantalizing tale that brought the heat. I'm volitionally posting an objective review.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

Spend the holidays club hopping with your favorite BDSM romance series and authors. Seventeen brand new holiday stories brought to you by this hot collection of New York Times, USA Today, and international bestselling authors. Time to pack your play bag and dive into the genre's sexiest worlds to see if your favorite couples have bee naughty or nice this year.

This is an new Christmas Anthology and while I have this love/hate relationship with anthologies I thought Christmas at the Club was on of the best ones I have ever read!! It features fifteen authors and the stories are from some of their previous series. If you read these authors regularly then the chances are you are going to recognize some of these couples right off the bat. I am sure some of them you will not have read when they came out from the authors and that is ok too because it does not seem like your missing anything if you haven't read the book that the couple comes from. The
I have probably read about half of these authors and was so super excited to be back with some of my favorite couples. The ones that I hadn't read I loved the stories of those couples and at some point want to go back and read their original stories or for example one series I had read had a new couple but it was in a very familiar location. Here is a list of the stories that you will be reading. I thought about reviewing each and every story but as I started doing that I realized that my review was going to be way way to long.

A Not So Silent Night by Jennifer Bene is set in the Black Light World.
A Kinky Crossover by Livia Grant from the Punishment Pit Series.
Villains Champagne by Alta Hensley is set in Spiked Roses form her Top Shelf Series.
Marriage by Lawyers by Tara Crescent is set at Club M from the Club Ménage Series.
A Very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel Joseph is from the Club Mephisto Series.
Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith from Masters of the Castle Series.
Spanked by the Grinch by Sierra Cartwright from the Titans and Quarter Series.
Christmas Ever After by Measha Stone from her Ever After Series.
Dare To Be Naughty by Claire Thompson is the Masters Club Series.
A Sassy Christmas by Golden Angel from the Stronghold Dom's Series.
Secret Santa by Samantha A Cole from her Dom's of the Covenant Series.
Sing For Me by Kay Elle Parker from her Club Avalon Series.
Gift Of Two by Dani Rene' is from her Seven Sins Series.
A Naughty Christmas Eden by L.K. Shaw from her Club Eden Series.
My Wicked Christmas Treat by Ann Mayburn from her Club Wicked Series.
Yule Be Mine by Pepper North from her Sanctum Series.
A Devilish Santa by Linzi Basset is from her Club Devil's Cove Series.

I have already made this huge list of books that I so am now dying to read because I know that they will be amazing and I can't tell you how much fun I had being back in familiar places with familiar couples. This was so much fun and I have to say that I loved ever single second of everything I read in this anthology. I sure wish I had such great fun during Christmas. And come one y'all who wouldn't want to be Spanked By The Grinch if he is as hot as Zander. I have never read about that couple before but I sure did think the title of that story was really cute and couldn't resist my little pun. Do not miss this one and you will for sure be in the Christmas Spirit by the time you are done.

Christmas At The Club is a holiday anthology revolving around clubs and BDSM interests.

Spanked By The Grinch from Author Sierra Cartwright is a favorite.
Christmas is truly the season of giving because once Maddie gives herself to Master Zander, he offers her his heart.

While working a Christmas party that Zander is in attendance at, Maddie openly lets him know her feelings.  Zander is very much interested in Maddie. When he offers to give her a bit of holiday spirit, Maddie allows herself this gift. But what neither expected was the need and connection that they felt.

Loved how this couple didn’t fight their attraction and so easily accepted what was offered.

A Not So Silent Night by Jennifer Bene revolves around the trio of Emma, Chase, and Jaxson. Their attendance at a Christmas party leads to delicious antics.

A Kinky Crossover by Lucia Grant glimpses part of The Punishment Pit Series. This party scene leads us into a New Year’s party you won’t forget.

Villains & Champagne by Alta Hensley reveals the chemistry between Harley and Marlowe. Possession and heat.

Ménage My Lawyers by Tara Crescent shows us second chance love. Can loss be overcome with a second beginning?

A Very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel Joseph a is a different twist with the relationship between Master and slave.

Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith shows us how life sidetracks many couples. But Kaylee let’s Marshall know just what’s going on.

Christmas Ever After by Measha Stone is the story of feisty Zoe and Nash. She pushes all his buttons.

Dare To Be Naughty by Claire Thompson allows us to watch as Dahlia explores the BDSM world.

A Sassy Christmas by Golden Angel reveals the struggles couples face after having a child and their journey back to each other.

Secret Santa by Samantha Cole introduces us to Del and Matthew which are part of the Doms of Covenant Series.

Sing For Me by Kay Elle Parker tells the story of Loki and Myna discovering their relationship.

Gift of Two by Dani Rene is Oliver and Chance’s story, a bit complicated but fulfilling.

A Naughty Christmas Eden by LK Shaw is Livvie and Gareth’s tale of seduction.

My Wicked Christmas Treat by Ann Mayburn is Dean and Brandy’s story maneuvering through their relationship.

Yule Be Mine by Pepper North is Noelle and Slater’s discovery of life.

The Devilish Santa by Alonzo Bassett tells us the story of Lois and Jaxson. He’s the one that can chase away her past.

Secret Santa by Samantha A. Cole......I love how Samantha writes MM romance. Matthew is looking for a gay Dom and when Master Del shows up, he's smitten. A game of secret Santa proves to be the thing that will bring them together! Hot, steamy and I want more of these two.

Sing For Me by Kay Elle Parker........Being a huge fan of Club Avalon, I was excited to see Loki get a short story. He sees Myna sitting in the corner and goes over to her. Was excited to see her also as I remember her from the Black Light world and was wondering what happened to her. This story was so freaking good that I went back and read it again! I loved how respectful Loki was with her and how he did what he could to make her feel better about submitting to him. The story may be short but there is a lot of emotion packed into it. And we are going to get a full length story with them next year!! I can't wait.

A Not So Silent Night by Jennifer Bene.........Yay! We get another short story with Jaxson, Chase and Emma. They are probably my favorite trio in the Black Light World. I loved everything about this story.

A Sassy Christmas by Golden Angel.........This story hit home because of the topic. Getting your relationship back on track after having a baby is easier said than done! Marriage, kids sometimes messes up the kink in a relationship. Can Angel and Adam find their way back or will they have to figure out a new normal? Loved it!

Spanked by the Grinch by Sierra Cartwright...........Maddie and Zander have issues from their pasts that has caused them to build walls around their hearts. Can they break each others walls down? You need to read it to find out what happens.

A Naughty Christmas Eden by LK Shaw......... Gareth and Livvy are two of my favorites in this series. LK gave them a beautiful story about coming to terms with a loss in their lives and how important they are to each other. This is one of my favorites in this series!

Each and every one of these stories were so well written. I discovered a few new authors so I will be checking out their backlists!! I loved this whole collection. It was full of Christmas cheer and hot loving!!! Be sure to go check it all out!

This review is for Gift of Two: a Sins of Seven novella by Dani René.

I loved how although I haven’t read the series, I was able to connect with the characters. Oliver and Chance are a couple I wish I had met sooner. This slice of life Christmas story brought high heat and sappy happiness.

We’re treated to a scene between Master Oliver and his husband, and submissive, Chance at the Chicago club. Domme Alyona watches as does a crowd behind the glass mirror. And we learn that Cayleigh from the couples original book has found a potential master in Matteo Moretti. Buts it’s the ending that will make you swoon!!

There were so many characters that have me intrigued. I can’t wait to go back to the series from the beginning.
And since I like to know things here’s the couples from each book:
KNEEL: Nate & Eva. Oliver mentors Nate.
OBEY: Elijah & Giana
INDULGE: Carrick & Peyton. She is Chance’s sister.
RUTHLESS: Callan & Madison
BOUND: Mason & Savvie
ENVY: Asher & Eliana
VICE: Chance & Oliver & Cayleigh. She is Carrick’s sister.

As with most anthologies, some of the stories resonated with me more than others. I found this time, the ones that had the greatest impact on me were the ones that focused on what it means to be part of a couple active in the Lifestyle while also balancing careers, families, and just otherwise busy schedules. Some of these brought me nearly to tears with their poignancy but, as Christmas is the season of miracles, there’s also such a bright light of hope in them. Because, really, I feel like that’s what this anthology boils down to at its heart: connection with one another.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from one of the authors.

Do you love anthologies?
Do you love BDSM?
This anthology features seventeen different authors each telling their own unique BDSM/Christmas novella.
There are authors I'm familiar with and new to me authors. I loved some more than others but it's definitely worth picking this one up. Especially if there are authors you'd like to get to sample before jumping into a full-length novel.

This anthology was filled with amazing short stories. Some of the authors I have read before and loved.. some of the authors I haven't read before but enjoyed their stories also and look forward to reading more of them.

A Not So Silent Night: by Jennifer Bene

I love Jennifer's writing so darn much. She pulls me effortlessly into all of her stories and I just devour them. I loved reading about Emma, Jaxson, and Chase in all the Blacklight books. I have to say I am going to have to very soon correct the mistake I have made in not reading about their beginnings. How they met and got together. That being said.. I have never felt like I have missed out on anything when I read stories about them in other books. It seems like a complete story on its own. I absolutely love it!

A Kinky Crossover: by Livia Grant

I don't think I have read any of the books from the Punishment Pit Series before. But after reading this story I am going to have to correct that. This book was Hot! Hot! Hot! I loved the interactions between Tiffany and Lukus the chemistry between them was just amazing. I loved her sassy mouth that ran away with her and got her in trouble and the sadist Dom that took delight in teaching her why that was a bad idea! Absolutely loved this couple and book!

Villains & Champagne: by Alta Hensley

I have read Alta Hensley's books before and I loved them! This book was no different. It was freaking amazing. I have started reading this series of books, but not yet finished with it. I can't wait to dive into more from this series and more from these characters. I loved how this book ended. I didn't suspect a thing at any time reading it where it was leading to. Harley Crow truly is the master secret keeper. Marlowe I loved her as well. It was awesome reading more about them and I hope we will get to read more about them in future books.

Menage My Lawyers: by Tara Crescent

This was a heartbreakingly sweet story. I don't do well with sweet stories, but I really liked this one. It has so many lessons to learn in this story if one just pays attention to it. I loved Addie. She is so strong though she doesn't realize it. And so darn adamant that she was beyond needing love in her life. That it was not for her and she wasn't strong enough to take the risk of losing somebody she cared for again. That love only lead to weakness and heartbreak. I loved how Shane was so secretive and held his feelings closely guarded to his heart. I loved how open and hopeful Theo was. How neither was willing to give up fighting for the chance of what they knew they could have with Addie if she would just take the chance with them.

A Very Mephisto Christmas: by Annabel Joseph

Reading this book reminds me of how much I loved this couple. It also made me want to reread their story. It's been a long time since I have read it. I loved Mephisto and how much he pushes Molly to be stronger then what she thinks she is capable of being. I also love how much Molly struggles internally with being a good slave even when she thinks she can't. It is an amazing story and I am ready to dive into the series again.

Keeping Kaylee: by Maren Smith

Okay right now I'm really upset with Maren Smith! She ripped my heart out and tore it into little pieces with this story! She really needed a tissues required warning for this book! I absolutely loved it! I really loved Kaylee in this book. She was hurting so bad in this book and just didn't know how to tell her husband what was wrong. She ripped me to pieces with all that she was feeling! And Marshall... lord have mercy with that man! He was so scared that he was going to lose her when he realized that he had done something wrong but had no clue as to what he had done wrong. It was amazing watching the two of them circle each other in this story each trying to figure out what the other was doing and what was wrong. I was so happy when they were able to bring it all out in the open and get it sorted out. I cried so many tears reading this book.

Spanked by the Grinch: by Sierra Cartwright

This one was a little confusing for me. I wasn't sure at times who was saying what to who till I got further down the page. While I am aware this was a short story... it still takes place in just over a days time and to me... that is just not long enough for people to truly fall in love and to profess their love for each other and want to spend their lives together when they basically know nothing about each other.. It's insta-love and that is just not something I think is possible. It was a good story... I just think it was one that should have been the beginning of one and continued and expanded at a later time.

Christmas Ever After: by Mesha Stone

I wish this story had been a little bit longer. I really liked it but it felt a little rushed maybe? I'm not sure.. I just wanted more.. I really liked it and I loved the interaction between Zoe and Nash... just I don't even know how to say what I'm feeling really it just feels like something was missing there and I know that I want more.

Dare to be Naughty: by Claire Thompson

Okay I got to the end of this book and literally screamed which I had to quickly muffle since it was the middle of the night! Claire Thompson that is a hell of a place to leave this story at! Talk about a cliffhanger from hell! I need answers here! I want to know more about this couple. The chemistry is amazing and I am dying to know if Dahlia is going to have the courage to go for what she wants and needs or if she is going to continue to bury her head in the sand? Fighting what she craves. Is Hayden going to let her? So many questions... I can't wait to dive into the book when it is released!

A Sassy Christmas: by Golden Angel

I loved this story. And being in Angel's group as I was reading it I couldn't help wondering in the back of my mind if any of this was or could be based on experiences she had had. When I got to the end of the book and read her note my question was answered. I have to say that I am so glad she wrote this story. It means so much to me, more then I can say. Something I didn't realize that could happen and thought that I was an oddball or broken for experiencing. Thank you Angel. This truly touched me reading it.

Secret Santa: by Samantha A. Cole

I have to say MM books are not my favorite trope... but this was a lovely sweet book and I really enjoyed reading about Mathew. He was an amazing character and I want to read so much more about him and his Dom Del. I hope this book will be expanded later so that I can read more about them and hopefully their HEA.

Sing for Me: by Kay Elle Parker

I knew going in that Myna had been in a previous book... and that she wasn't a well liked character in that book... but for the life of me I couldn't remember her for anything until I started to read this book and then it all came back to me. I have to agree I didn't care for her in the previous book and that is probably why I didn't remember her. But I have to say that I am so glad that Kay decided to use Myna in another book. Everybody deserves a second chance and a chance at happiness. Even Myna... maybe especially Myna after reading her story. I am so interested in reading the rest of Loki and Myna's story. I can't wait to read that book... something tells me its going to be another heart wrenchingly tear jerking book. Myna seems to be so sad... and some would say deservedly so after the way she acted in the previous book... but I have a feeling it goes way deeper then that and that there is a dark story buried deep inside her. I can't wait to see if I am right about that.

Gift of Two: by Dani Rene

Oh lord it was so wonderful reading this story. I have missed reading the Seven Sins Club series. I think its time for a reread of that series! Dani Rene's stories are always so moving and wonderful. I always forget how much I enjoy them until I pick up the next one released by her. It was nice catching up with Oliver and Chance again after their book. I hope we get more glimmers of their life together in future books. I love revisiting characters and stories long after their stories are told to see how they are doing in the future and from this book it sounds like Chance and Oliver and starting a wonderful adventure together and I want more of it!

A Naughty Christmas Eden: by L.K. Shaw

I'm not sure if I have ever read a story by this author before. It was a sweet little story and heart wrenching at times. I enjoyed reading it although it was a little heavy for a Christmas story. But it did turn around in the end to be more joyous. I will certainly be looking into reading more stories by this author. Starting with any books that are related to Club Eden as I am intrigued to learn more about these characters.

My Wicked Christmas Treat: by Ann Mayburn

This is a new to me author. While femdom is my least favorite trope to read. This story was well written and I did like the characters in the story so I will be reading other books in the series to learn about them. I was very intrigued with Goddess, Liam and Rory. I will definitely being looking up their story in the near future to read

Yule Be Mine: by Pepper North

This was another sweet little story. It makes you happy to read them. Noelle and Slaters story was short but I am hoping maybe to get a longer story in the future. There are still a few unanswered questions in this story and I would like to see how it all plays out.

A Devilish Santa: by Linzi Basset

This book I have to say I really didn't enjoy. The random words tossed in different sentences, while I'm sure the author was looking at using creative uses of words instead of using the same old words all the time... didn't bother to look up their definitions and therefore made for an extremely frustrating read. I didn't really enjoy the contradictions in the story either. If somebody can't do something for a reason one moment... In the next moment they sure wont be able to do it for the same reason if nothing has changed. Overall it had a good story line but the jarring uses of the random words made it an entirely unenjoyable and frustrating read for me. You might like it. I hope you do or at least that you give it a try. It's just not for me.

Christmas at the Club Anthology

First as I always say anthologies are a great way to try out new authors and are a great way to get a variety of shorter stories. This collection was no different. There was a variety of holiday themed stories of varying intensity.

First up is A NOT SO SILENT NIGHT (THE BLACK LIGHT SERIES) BY JENNIFER BENE. 4 stars
Right off the bat we are introduced ton if characters. In the first chapter we have Madison, Emma, Jaxson, Chase, Trevor, Susie, Elijah, Jonah 'Cash' Carter, Samantha, Dave, Tyler, Robert, Spencer, Sam, Linda; so 15 named characters. I get it if you've read other books in the Blacklight world, but if you are new it is kinda intimidating to have so many characters at once. But once we got past chapter one, the story really begins. Jaxson, Chase and Emma (owners of the club) head straight to the 'classroom' and try out a scene of two naughty students trying to talk their way out of trouble with the headmaster. I really enjoyed seeing characters tha I have met before and the MMF scene was really hot. So this one ends with a bit of a cliffhanger that crosses over to the second novella in this anthology.

A KINKY CROSSOVER (THE PUNISHMENT PIT SERIES) BY LIVIA GRANT - 4 stars
Lukus is the owner of The Punishment Pit and he is a Dom who loves punishing wayward subs. His wife Tiffany is stressed getting ready for the upcoming holiday trip to see her family in Michigan and then the upcoming New Year's Eve party at the Club. He makes sure to limit her focus to just one thing at a time...the first being him. My thoughts are that while the scene was super steamy, the atmosphere to tie it in to the first story fell a bit flat. Yes, Jax, Chase and Emma were there, but the 2 side by side scenes felt rushed and detracted from my enjoyment of the story.

VILLIANS & CHAMPAGNE (TOP SHELF SEIRES) BY ALTA HENSLEY - 3 stars
This was a quick visit to the Tasting Room at Spiked Roses. It was a steamy scene.

MENAGE MY LAWYERS (CLUB MENAGE SERIES) BY TARA CRESCENT - 5 stars
This is a new to me series and I really enjoyed the MENAGE story between Addie, Theo and Shane. It has been 2 years since Addie lost her husband and dominant to cancer. She is propositioned by two attorneys who are partners in the law firm she used recently. They want a chance to scene with her and she agrees to only 3 sessions and nothing more, but once they connect on a deeper level with they be able to go back to their individual lives? I loved the way they persuaded her that they saw her and wanted to respect her needs.
I may just be one clicking some other books set at Club Menage.

A VERY MEPHISTO CHRISTMAS (MEPHISTO SERIES) BY ANNABEL JOSEPH - 5 stars
This is an amazing boundary pushing story featuring total power exchange. Molly is the slave to Mephisto and in this holiday short story he wants to refocus her and test her dedication to him for 3 days. Wow! I've rarely read such a creative piece. I'm very interest in reading the other books from the Club Mephisto world.

KEEPING KAYLEE (MASTERS OF THE CASTLE SERIES) BY MAREN SMITH - 2 stars
This one wasn't my favorite. A big group of subs get together to show their dogs how unsatisfied they are in their respective relationships.

SPANKED BY THE GRINCH (TITANS THE QUARTER SERIES) BY SIERRA CARTWRIGHT - 5 stars
Maddie volunteers as an Elf at the holiday party, but when she crosses paths with grinchy Master Zander and he offers to help her try out her new Christmas present will they both find something more than a one night stand. They both have painful pasts, but turn out to be perfect for each other.

CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER (EVER AFTER SERIES) BY MEASHA STONE - 5 stars
Zoe is in town to visit her friend, but find the Sanelli brothers waiting for her. She is able to get away, but Nash realizes something is wrong and what he learns is just what he needs to solve both their problems. He needs a wife to gain his inheritance and in exchange he will pay off the Sanelli brothers and make sure they don't bother her again. They just need to be married for a couple of weeks and then go back to their regular lives. But will things be that easy?

DARE TO BE NAUGHTY (MASTERS CLUB SERIES) BY CLAIRE THOMPSON - 3 stars (would have been 5 if it wasn't a cliffhanger)
Dahlia is orthopedic surgeon who moved to New York 3 months ago. She has been meeting Hayden for breakfast once a week and things were going well till Hayden tells her how he would like to break the ice in the bedroom. She freaked out at his cavemn attitude and although the thought excited her she reacted poorly. She quickly has second thoughts and tells Hayden she is curious to see what the club is like so he takes her as a guest. They see some really hot scenes, but the short abruptly ends and tells you to read the rest of their story in More Than a Dare which is coming soon. I was going to give this 5 stars, but took 2 away for the cliffhanger.

A SASSY CHRISTMAS (STRONGHOLD DOMS SERIES) BY GOLDEN ANGEL - 5 stars
Angel isn't feeling it after having a child. She doesn't understand why nearly a year after giving birth she hasn't gotten her groove back. This sweet story shows how her husband and her finally get back on the same page. Turns out that this story was based on the author’s real journey.

SECRET SANTA (DOMS OF THE COVENANT SERIES) BY SAMANTHA A. COLE - 4 stars
Matthew is working at The Covenant, but has yet to find a Dom who matches his needs, but with Christmas around the corner and Master Del new in town, his luck may have just changed. Loved this little MM holiday tale.

SING FOR ME (CLUB AVALON SERIES) BY KAY ELLE PARKER - 4 stars
This one started out a bit rough. The whole first chapter was a waste. I get you want to share your previously created world, but I don't need to meet over a dozen characters in the first chapter. I would have enjoyed picking up where Loki sees Myna across the room. That being said Myna has come to Club Avalon after some huge mistakes in her prior club life. She had a rough time letting herself be who she was and as a result she pissed off a bunch people. She is visiting Phoenix and is encouraged to try Club Avalon. Loki is back in town and sees something in her that intrigues him. Will he be able to show her what is possible if she let's hers submissive side shine?

GIFT OF TWO (SINS OF SEVEN SERIES) BY DANI RENE - 4 stars
A peak into Oliver and Chance's lives. They are a complicated D/S couple. I enjoyed their scene at the Club and their interesting lives.

A NAUGHTY CHRISTMAS EDEN (DOMS OF CLUB EDEN SERIES) BY L.K. SHAW - 4 stars
Livvie and Gareth get a night away from their young daughter and choose to spend it at Club EDEN, but will Livvie's guilt run their night out? So this was pretty good although again the author wanted to add in so many side characters. Maybe if I had read the series I would appreciate all the cameos, but since I haven't it was just distracting.

MY WICKED CHRISTMAS TREAT (CLUB WICKED SERIES) BY ANN MAYBURN - 4 stars
Mistress Brandy is getting to spend the night at Club Wicked with her sub Dean, but Dean has recently learned that Brandy hasn’t truly enjoyed certain things. Will he be able to come up with a plan to show her just how enjoyable things can be?
Cute quote - “My therapist says I’m well-adjusted for a sociopath.” Dean

YULE BE MINE(SANCTUM SERIES) BY PEPPER NORTH - 3 stars
Oh, I have to say that Daddy books are typically a miss for me and this short did not turn things around for me. It was a good story so if Daddy books are your thing, you will probably enjoy it, but between the main theme and the denied insta theme it was mostly a miss for me although I did like how Slater took care of Noelle.

A DEVILISH SANTA (CLUB DEVIL’S COVE) BY LINZI BASSET - 3 stars
I’m not sure how I feel about Lois and Jaxon. So Lois is trying to recover from an abusive relationship that left her scared. Although she has known Jaxon for years, he doesn’t recognize her and she realizes this may be her chance to live out her fantasy.. While I liked the story of the tempting scarred little elf and how the soldier dom, I really felt like I needed a dictionary on standby. There were quite a few words that I had never ever heard before and seemed to pull me out of the story to look them up.

Who wouldn't want a boxset of Christmas themed, steamy, sometimes sweet, and always perfect stories? I loved the variation of the stories. Most of the authors, characters, and settings were ones I am familiar with, but there were a few I haven't read before that quickly got added to my TBR.

Not So Silent Night - Jennifer Bene
We get to reconnect with Jaxson, Chase, and Emma, and their twin toddlers. It's the holiday season and that means family. Family means not being able to fully enjoy their dynamic but Jaxson has some plans to remind Chase and Emma who's in charge. I love this trio and I'm so glad I got to visit with them again.

A Kinky Crossover -Livia Grant
This is another epilogue, but instead of Black Lights (like the first story) we are at The Punishment Pit and the characters are Lukus and Tiffany. We also get the continuation of Jaxson, Chase, and Emma. It's been a year since we last saw Luk and Tif and it's been a crazy holiday season. It's also their 1 year anniversary. Both Tiffany and Lukus are under a lot of stress and TPP is the best place to release it. Tif and Luk are just as steamy as I remember them being and it was so fun to revisit The Pit.

Villains and Champions - Alta Hensley
We are at Spiked Roses with Harley and Marlowe, and I clapped my hands with glee when I saw that. Harley isn't a nice man but Marlowe has him wrapped around her finger. However, he has her wrapped around something else. I love this couple and how well they go together.

Menage My Lawyers - Tara Crescent
This story introduces us to new characters - Addie, Shane and Theo and takes us back to Club M. This story tugged at my heartstrings. It was full of all the emotions and I wish it had been longer. I could spend a long time with this trio and never get bored.

A Very Mephisto Christmas - Annabel Joseph
I haven't had the pleasure of reading Annabel Joseph before now but that's about to change, and fast. This one is more hardcore than the others and it's intense. The relationship between Mephisto and Molly is one of Master and slave so be prepared. It's beautiful and super steamy.

Keeping Kaylee - Maren Smith
This story is set in Ms. Smith's Masters of the Castle series. I love that we get glimpses of all the House Masters and their subs, but the story features the owner of The Castle, Marshall, and his wife, Kaylee. After the last one, this one felt even more light and I appreciate that they mixed the stories, and their tones, in a way to make each one seem more varied. I laughed a lot through this one.

Spanked by the Grinch -Sierra Cartwright
I've never read any books in this series so I'm not sure if these two characters have any sort of past or not. It's a full story that I would love to see fleshed out. Zander, or the Grinch, is not a fan of Christmas. Maddie is kind, loving, and has a big heart - big enough to share with Zander. This story is sweet and sexy and I wish there was more of it.

Christmas Ever After - Measha Stone
I love Nash and Zoe! This is a marriage of convenience romance. Zoe is in trouble and Nash is in a bind. They have a sort of love hate relationship, but they get their HEA in the end.

Dare to be Naughty - Claire Thompson
This story is an introduction to what will become a full-length novel. In it, we meet Hayden and Dahlia. One is very experienced in the lifestyle and the other has no knowledge, other than what can be found in novels. As someone who has spent her whole life in a vanilla relationship, I loved the way Dahlia approached things. I also loved the way Hayden went about introducing her to the other side of life. I will be reading the whole story once it's released.

A Sassy Christmas - Golden Angel
The Stronghold series is the first series I read with a Club setting so these characters hold a special place in my heart. Angel and Adam have a new baby and they are dealing with all the emotions having a child brings. It's been a while, but I remember those days where guilt, fear, lack of sleep, and stress made me feel less human. This story is sweet, sexy, and has all the feels. It also reminded me that it's time for a re-read.

Secret Santa - Samantha A. Cole
This is the first MM of the book and I loved it! It was fun and there was a lot of laughter. It was also steamy and the romance was lovely. It's not very long, but I became invested in the characters and I hope there will be more.

Sing For Me - Kaye Elle Parker
I'm calling dibs on Loki! He's all mine and I've already licked him. Holy hotness! This was everything I wanted for Loki and Myna. While I wanted to do nothing more than wrap my arms around Myna and protect her from the world, Loki melted me into a puddle.

Gift of Two - Dani Rene
This is an epilogue for Oliver and Chance but you don't need to have read their book to appreciate it. It's also the second MM story in the set. Oliver and Chance have been through so much together and their bond is beautiful. This story is not only a steamy glimpse into their lives, it's also about them taking the next step.

A Naughty Christmas - L.K. Shaw
All the feels! The heartbreak, love, tenderness, and heat leap of the pages of this one. I loved the connection between Gareth and Livvie and the way that they cling to each other after their heartbreak. My heart broke and soared along with them.

My Wicked Christmas Treat - Ann Mayburn
We have our first Domme! However, Brandy isn't as fierce of a Domme as I'm used to reading. I love that she has some insecurities and a big soft side. Dean is also very different from the subs I'm used to reading about and has a touch of dominance in him. Another thing that made this one different was the scene. It wasn't just about the heat,it was a whole show. It was fun, sexy, and highlighted the lengths people will go to when they are committed to making things work.

Yule Be Mine - Pepper North
I'm going to call this an insta-love, but it's more of an insta-connection. It's set at SANCTUM and features Noelle and Slater. He's a Daddy who's looking for his Little and she's a Little who's looking for her Daddy. Together they are perfect.

Christmas at the Club. A Christmas BDSM Romance Anthology
Long review warning. Great Christmas anthology set in BDSM/worlds. Something for everyone. From Littles,to S/M, M/M etc. Definitely worth the money. Lots of stories where you get continuation of prior novels. Most standalone. Definitely going to look into other books by some new authors.
1. A Not So Silent Night. Jennifer Bane. This is a cute read into triad Jaxson, Chase and Emma. We see a sexy scene with them at Black Light, which they own. MMF. My fav, sigh… The trios original book is Infamous Love. The end of the story sets up book two.
2. A Kinky Crossover. Livia Grant. This is Tiffany and Lukus who own TPP which we heard from at end of book one. We hear the other side of the phone conversation lol. They have a little naughty holiday drama, (a little too unwilling for me) and then the NYE party which Jax, Chase and Emma attend. Lukas used to be on stage a lot until he got married and we get his debut return on their first anniversary! Holy hotness!
3. Villains and Champagne. Alta Hensley. Harley owns Spiked Roses in Nola. Marlowe shows up uninvited. He Claims her in the tasting room, then gives her punishment in a “storage room”. At the end it is a surprise engagement. This one didn’t flow quite as well for me. Seems disjointed. Their original story is Villains & Vodka.
4. Ménage My Lawyers. Tara Cresecent. Addie is widowed from her dominant Elliot. Xavier sets her up with Shane and Theo (her lawyers).they scene together through the week, the guys want more but she runs. Love the advent calendar!!
5. A Very Mephisto Chrismas. Annabel Joseph. The owning couple of Club Mephisto has “Santa” handing out gift to the subs, but then grand gift was given to his wife *wink, wink*, first on stage, then her other “gift” at home. They enjoy time together as couple, have a party, but he continues to deny her. I felt for her, days away from kids and he does that to her? How cruel.
6. Keeping Kaylee. Maren Smith. I was bit lost with this book due to the castle/resort and not having much backstory, I suspect there’s a prior book that would have cleared up some things. This is a tale about a bunch of Littles who are trying to get the attention of their Daddy Dom‘s. Lots of Christmas fun. Compared to the others, this one was not for me.
7. Spanked by the Grinch. Sierra Cartwright. There is quite the Christmas party going on at the club. Xander and Maddie Who are both working the party meet up although have never hooked up in the past. They are both grieving. They hit it off, and Insta love. Happily ever after
8. Christmas ever after. Measha stone. Nash and Zoe meet up So he visits her friend. Nash needs a wife to claim his inheritance and Zoe need some help for a loan. There’s some heat. They marry, fall in love, HEA.
9. Dare to be Naughty. Claire Thompson. They liked the story between the two doctors that work together, one who is a master at a private BDSM club and the other who is a newbie. We see him introduced her to it in the tension between them, and then Bam, cliffhanger! I want to see the rest!
10. A Sassy Christmas. Golden angel. angel and Adam feel like they aren’t connecting due to lack of libido vs dad bod post baby. They go to Stronghold, reconnect. They go to a sex club. The strap on scene was new for me…..
11. Secret Santa. Samantha Cole. Submissive Matthew is working at the the Covenant club and taking a paramedic course. He meets Master Del (instant attraction). They play secret Santa, and get matched up. They have a hot scene (m/m), which leads to a lottery win and HEA.
12. Sing for me. Kay Elle Parker. New author to me. Loki and Myna meet at the club. myna is new to that club, escaping from prior life. They scene, piercings were a nice touch. Although I’m not sure he could “slip” into virgin territory lol.
13. Gift of Two. Dani Rene. Oliver and chance story. M/M. They visit Chances sis is Chicago and scene at the club. They start a family. I do love me some M/M lol.
14. A naughty Christmas Eden. LK Shaw. Livvie and Gareth. They attend Club Eden which they don’t attend as much due to having a child and a miscarriage. They definitely had a sexy scene, then the emotions poured out. They deal with their grief, and have a HEA of course.
15. My wicked Christmas Treat. Ann Mayburn. Brandy and Dean. She is his mistress. She has a very big secret she is keeping, which hurts Dean. He has a scene planned for the, at the club though which helps her with issue.
16. Yule be Mine. Pepper North. Sanctum story. Littles story. Noelle is looking for a Daddy. She meets Slater while visiting her brother at Sanctum. He gives her a tour and they “hit it off”. Instalove is a wonderful thing in the Little world. The temper tantrum was a bit much. And Keeper? Not my favorite name lol.
17. A Devilish Santa. Linzi Basset. Lois and Jaxson meet back up at a BDSM, although Jaxson doesn’t recognize her initially. There is some interesting family dynamics and a treasure hunt. Once Jax realizes who she is they ultimately find a HEA.

Wowzer - Quite the Christmas Present to Yourself!!

***** A Not So Silent Night - Jennifer Bene
What a great start - the power trio of Jaxson, Emma and Chase. They are about to spend an extended amount of time with their in-laws. This means limited play - or figuring out how to be “quiet”. Not to mention caring for the twins with no nanny.

A very inventive result - which will satisfy everyone.

***** A Kinky Crossover - Livia Grant
Our favorite characters from the punishment pit are celebrating their anniversary. Which means something new is in store. A good reminder as we all stress over the holidays.

***** Villains and Champagne - Alta Hensley
The Spiked Roses holiday party is at hand. Marlowe refuses to be “left out”. Her Dom Harley is steps ahead of her. A delightful affirmation of this relationship.

***** Menage my Lawyers - Tara Crescent
Addie has grieved for two years. She has a request to play at the club - from two men. One of my favorites in this anthology.

***** A Very Mephisto Christmas - Annabel Joseph
A Master/slave relationship is highlighted here. A visit back to earlier times to renew their bonds (no pun intended)

***** Keeping Kaylee - Maren Smith
The Littles are at play. Not my jam - but quite entertaining.

***** Spanked by the Grinch - Sierra Cartwright
Zander is nicknamed the grinch. He lost his wife and child. Maddie also has pain in her eyes, and takes care of others. Emotional and touching, another favorite.

***** Christmas Ever After - Measha Stone
Zoe is on the run, and hiding out with her friend Ellie. An attraction builds with the house disciplinarian Nash. A deal is struck - Nash needs to marry, and he can solve Zoe’s issue in return. Loved this one!!

***** Dare to be Naughty - Claire Thompson
Two doctors. One in the lifestyle, and one who is curious. Hayden is a sensual sadist. Dahlia is willing to pass a few tests to gain an invite into the inner sanctum. Super hot!

***** A Sassy Christmas - Golden Angel
A revealing look at a couple who is in the lifestyle, and struggles to maintain that interest after their first child. Personal and captivating. Golden always delivers an incredible story.

***** Secret Santa - Samanth A. Cole
We meet “almost” EMT Matthew who is juggling school, work, and front desk shifts at The Covenant. Master Del is new in town - and he waits to play until the night of the Secret Santa. Scorching MM story.

***** Sing for Me - Kay Elle Parker
We visit Club Avalon for this story - one of my favorites.
Loki is back from a month-long trip, and a new sub is completely miserable. Can Loki entice her to play? As always with this author, an emotional journey and fabulous connection. Whew!!

***** Gift of Two - Danie Rene
A great play on words. Another MM masterpiece. Dom Oliver has been called a monster, but Chance was able to break down his walls, and he has become a better man. Great story.

***** A Naughty Christmas Eden - LK Shaw
Livvie and Gareth have a daughter Chloe who is five, but are mourning the large family they wanted. A delicious rekindling and a reminder that communication is a key to the relationship.

***** My Wicked Christmas Treat - Ann Mayburn
Brandy and Dean have a “hiccup” in their relationship. Advice from their friends has Dean realizing he has reacted poorly and making amends in the best way possible. We are all affected by our pasts.

***** Yule Be Mine - Pepper North
An interesting combination for this holiday Little story.

***** A Devilish Santa - Linzi Basset
Another favorite here. A bit longer - so more engagement. Jaxson is on leave of absence from the military. Lois is running home to her Uncle - but she has suffered tragedy, and due to the resulting scarring, is not easily recognizable. Jaxson has always ticked all her boxes, and maybe she can get one night with him before they realize it is her.

Christmas at the Club

A Not So Silent Night Jennifer Bene
A look back into Jax, Chase and Emma. A sweet and short read that spills over into another author’s story. Loved the Christmas Tree and getting to see everyone again. A hot read for sure.

A Kinky Crossover Livia Grant
We get to see Lukas and Tiffany again here on their special day, a bit of Marcus and Brianna too. Great dialogue, not scenes and laughter as well. “King of the Sprinkles”. Loved it

Villains & Champagne - Top Shelf Series - Alta Hensley
A very short and sweet setup for Harley and his partner, Marlowe. Marlowe kept pushing him and she just might get more than she bargained for. Down and delicious dirty with an over the top ending. I only need you!

Ménage My Lawyers - Tara Crescent
This story was super hot, Theo, Shane and Addie. Combustible and off the shelf hot, but emotions were not to be involved. It just might be too late for one or even all of them to take notice.

A Very Mephisto Christmas - Annabel Joseph
A Master/Slave relationship, a weekend away from the kids and what could Molly expect to happen, not what did, but was she deserving of it. You’ll have to read this very hot short story of their weekend alone.

Keeping Kaylee - Maren Smith
An interesting Christmas story at the Castle. Loads of activities there and also loads of mischief by the ladies of the Castle. I liked the daisies at my funeral comment, and laughed out loud with that.

Spanked by the Grinch - Sierra Cartwright
This was a super short story with Zander and Maddie down in New Orleans. Loved the set up of the overall club and all it’s avenues. Zander knew when to push and when to withdraw, but he came out the winner in the end.

Christmas Ever After - Measha Stone
Zoe is in a spot and she reluctantly gives into Nash the second time she’s put on the spot. It only takes one discipline session to figure out her feelings, she’s all in and so is Nash!

Dare to be Naughty - Claire Thompson
An interesting read, it was a pleasure to read about someone that had experience as a Dom and was introducing someone to the lifestyle. Dahlia was too eager I thought sometimes. This is just the beginning of this story.

A Sassy Christmas - Golden Angel
A wonderful read, it’s not all roses and fairy tales in this story, it’s a real life scenario with loads of guilt. Life after having a baby can put a damper on some relationships and this story told a beautiful story

Secret Santa - Samantha A. Cole
I love this author. Humour in this one and a very, very sweet story about Matthew and Del. Loved the glitter deodorant, and the overall positive story to two people meeting and being perfect for each other. Made me smile

Sing for Me - Kay Elle Parker
A second chance for Myna and possibilities for Loki. They’ve just met and had their first scene, it was spectacular even though it did not go as planned. Want to read more about them..

Gift of Two - Dani René
Nice little insight into the lives of Chance and Oliver. Loved the intensity of this short story

A Naughty Christmas Eden - LK Shaw
Sweet update for Gareth and Livvie, dealing with a sensitive topic is never easy and here it’s done with grace.

My Wicked Christmas Treak - Ann Mayburn
Brandy and Dean are now taking time for all the little things in their lives that they did not appreciate before. Again, another sensitive topic that was dealt with with class. Loved the fantasy scene with all their friends.

Yule Be Mine -
Noelle is discovering who she is and she meets Slater. Loved the colour system. “Keeper”, I think that name is really cool. An interesting read for sure

A Devilish Santa - Linzi Basset
This story had the most detail, I loved Jaxon and Lois. So many hidden emotions and both of them hurt in their own way. Wise words from Jaxon about love and what it means, it was really beautiful.

Review of Christmas at the club
A not so silent night by Jennifer Bene
Our famous trio Emma, Chase and Jax celebrate chirstmas at Black Light West - jax is a little bothered by the fact that he is going celebrate Christmas at Emma's parents in Wisconsin for 12 days. Twelve days of being quiet while having fun. So in Jax Dom's conniving way, he comes up with a fun way to show Emma and Chase how to stay quiet in class. Fun, steamy, sexy in the most devious way! The Punishing Pit here they come!

A kinky crossover by livia Grant

We find Tiffany and Marcus settled in their first year of marriage and Tiffany is still unsettled with the holidays coming fast and she is struggling with Marcus's way to handle chaos. Until he gets the phone call that the Carthwright-Davidson trio are coming over for their New Year eve's party. What comes up is a new year's eve party that will be difficult to top! Fun,sexy and intense impact play that could disturb the faint of heart .

Villlains & champagne by Alta Hensley

Harley Crow and Marlow's story - edgy, steamy,so entertaining! When Marlowe walks into the Spiked Roses, Harley is unhappy at her boldness to show up at his club. When she begs him to go to the club's Christmas party, he relents and this is where pain and pleasure come into play. Their play is intense and passionate but the conclusion is a surprise for all!

Menage my lawyers by Tara Crescent

Addie lost the love of her life and Dom 2 years ago and after a nasty court battle and hiding from the world, she is invited to the Castle by her friend Xavier who offers her a menage with two men. The two men are partners in the law firm she hired, Shane is from London and Shane from Dublin. She meets the two men and agree to three scenes. These intense scenes opens up her mind into writing again. Can she put the past to rest and open herself to a future with the two men? Great story and characters.

A very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel. Joseph
A very twisted, dirty christmas story.Mephisto gives his wife Molly a very unusual gift. One tjat will make him very happy but it has Molly calmly look at her relationship with her Master over the years. Great characters.

Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith

Kaylee and the other ladies of the Castle feel neglected amd they come up with a plan of high jinx to get the Doms attention. Marshall, the Master's Master is buried in his work load at the Castle and he can feel that Kaylee is unhappy. Will the girls shenanigans get them the attention they are looking for or a good spanking instead? Entertaining, fast paced intense and heartbreaking at some time, but the HEA is worth it!

Am at 32% and waiting for something new, so far just sweet romance with a bit of slapping. I keep hoping to find something with the more stronger BDSM themes found in the earlier Black Light books. To be updated.
It really was ho hum
best one was
Sing for Me by Kay Elle Parker - Club Avalon series Loki is a kind, patient, caring, yet very dominant Master at the Club. When he sets eyes on a beautiful woman, naturally he goes up to her. When he talks to Myna, she is completely thrown off her game.

A Not So Silent Night by Jennifer Bene - Jaxson, Chase & Emma – classroom kink Extension of previous story

A Kinky Crossover by Livia Grant - Jaxson, Chase & Emma visit The Punishment Pit where Lukus & Tiffany, Markus & Brianna and Derek & Rachel are celebrating New Years minor scenes. Tiffany is stressed about holiday preparations and Lukus doms her out of it – but his technique annoyed me. Extension of previous story

Villains & Champagne by Alta Hensley Marlowe and Harley. Marlowe begs for them to attend the club holiday party – minor scene and punishment before he asks to marry her. Extension of previous story

Ménage My Lawyers by Tara Crescent - Addie is a young woman trying to get over the death of her husband. Theo and Shane are lawyers and wish to have a relationship with her.

A Very Mephisto Christmas by Annabel Joseph - this story is about Molly, a Slave, and Mephisto, her Master, lover and husband. Investigates chastity. Extension of previous story

Keeping Kaylee by Maren Smith - Kaylee ( a little) is unsure how to explain it things to Marshall. Set at the Castle. Not a favourite setting or writer

Spanked by the Grinch by Sierra Cartwright - Maddie and Zander both with much sadness in their past and closed off to any kind of relationship. It was OK.

Christmas Ever After by Measha Stone - Nash is the disciplinarian at the Annex and every time Zoe comes to town, she drives him crazy!

Gift of Two by Dani Rene MM

A Naughty Christmas Eden by L.K. Shaw - This is about a married couple, Gareth and Livvy coming to terms with a loss in their lives and how they need to bring the spark

My Wicked Christmas Treat by Ann Mayburn - Brandy and Dean are a couple who are in a Mistress/Sub dynamic.

Yule Be Mine by Pepper North Sanctum series Noelle has been looking for a Daddy, so when she comes to visit her brother on the ranch, she has no idea what will happen. Until she meets Slater!

The Devilish Santa by Linzi Bassett Club Devil Cove reads awkward

Look what Santa brought!
Unwrapping those stories one by one was a true delight! So let me tell you about them.
A NOT SO SILENT NIGHT by Jennifer Bene
It's the annual pre-Christmas party at Blacklight and Jaxson turns it, with his deviously kinky scenes, into a (without-) dress rehearsal for another Christmas celebration with Emma and Chase.
And that takes us straight to:
A KINKY CROSSOVER by Livia Grant
Christmas is over and Jaxson, Emma and Chase are having a night out at the Punishment Pit.
And they are made quite at home by the Pit crew. Take the Blacklight vibe and mix it with the earthy atmosphere of the Pit and, Kabooom!
VILLAINS AND CHAMPAGNE by Alta Hensley
Welcome to Spiked Roses where Tennessee is putting on the annual holiday party. Harley Crow is leaving his Bayou home to attend with Marlowe. True to his former job he is ready to kill anyone who even looks at his wife. As always an explosive interaction between those two!
MÉNAGE MY LAWYERS by Tara Crescent
Two lawyers, one widowed writer and an advent calendar. When you put them together at Club M sizzling miracles happen!
A VERY MEPHISTO CHRISTMAS by Annabell Joseph
This is an exercise in reaffirming a relationship. The hard way!
KEEPING KAYLEE by Maren Smith
A Little revolution at the Castle with unforeseen consequences.
SPANKED BY THE GRINCH by Sierra Cartwright
When the little elf meets the Grinch at the Quarter, Christmas magic happens. Ho, ho, ho!
CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER by Measha Stone
One house guest, that has been annoying the Annex's disciplinarian for years, is back. And they're butting heads. Again. Have a guess how that combo works!?
DARE TO BE NAUGHTY by Claire Thompson
This is a very sensitive, powerful BDSM 101.
A SASSY CHRISTMAS by Golden Angel
A very personal, honest story.
SECRET SANTA by Samantha A Cole
It's hard to tell who's lucky-er, the "elf" twink in the red boy shorts or his Secret Santa.
SING FOR ME by Kay Elle Parker
Even from far away Master Atticus manages to arrange a Christmas miracle in Club Avalon uniting two lonely souls with bells and silver balls. ;-)
A NAUGHTY CHRISTMAS EDEN by L K Shaw
A very special Christmas with a special gift.
MY WICKED CHRISTMAS TREAT by Ann Mayburn
And here's another example of the importance of honest communication, not just in a kinky relationship.
YULE BE MINE by Pepper North
A Little finds the best present ever in a Christmas-y wonder-world.
A DEVILISH SANTA by Linzi Bassett
Two battered souls hoping for solace and finding in Club Devil's Cove. In true Bassett style!

Never a dull moment within this bundle of goodness. So much wicked-sexy sparkle to warm you up on a cold winter day. All of these authors are wonderful writers that literally has enticed me to no-end.

J. Bene-
Had no clue what Bene would deliver but can I just say I am happy, beyond words that she wrote about Jaxson, Chase and Emma. I loved reading them in the Black Light series and now we get another peak into their lives. Brilliance!!

L. Grant-
Love the sassy, rebellious submissive, Tiffany. The dynamic between her and her husband, Lukas… desirable. Man, I need to go back and read about their relationship and how they came to be. Grant wrote a captivating short story of their Dom/sub lifestyle and I couldn't put it down for a second. "I will remind you that you're talking to to the man so committed to delivering well-deserved punishments that I named my club The Punishment Pit."

A. Hensley-
Sweet yet ravaging story of our favorite ex-assain and the one that stole his heart. Harley Crow is not to be toyed with, yet Marlowe can't stop pushing him for something she wants. Will it back fire for her?

T. Crescent-
Really liked this out of sort story where it's not about a already established couple but a woman who needs to move on in life from a saddened past. She finds herself again with two strapping foreigners.

A. Jospeph-
This little story of Master/slave just wasn't my thing. Really didn't hold my attention and partially I felt bad for the slave.

M. Smith-
Really enjoyed this little spunky-witty story. Where the dynamic of a submissive truly holds the reins in the relationship. This series, these characters are ones I would love to know more about and how each relationship started.

S. Cartwright- a cute, Grinch vs. sub story. Has heartfelt emotions that radiate off the pages.

D. Rene-
Can I just say that I am ESTATIC that Dani wrote about my FAVORITE MAN.. Oliver! This man can do wonders and I am so unbelievably happy… no words can describe my joy. The emotion between Oliver and Chase is one of a kind and the feelings of their connection is a kind of love that only they can have.

*I'm still reading this magnificent book of stories that are making me swoon, blush and melt over. I HIGHLY recommend this for all romance lovers for over the holidays.

I loved this festive anthology!

It was awesome to revisit some of my favorite book friends and book clubs. I frequently have read all books that many of these authors wrote. There were only 4 authors who I had not read books by before. This was a great opportunity to read their works and to find new book friends to read about. My TBR list just increased. The stories, while short were long enough to really enjoy and meet or re-visit the characters. The Christmas theme to them all was a bonus. And it was a bonus because we all know the magic that Christmas brings.
I loved every story as they were all awesome. All were beautifully written, and it would take too long to comment on each story. So, I will further comment on only a few.

Sierra Cartwright – Spanked by the Grinch. Proof that Christmas is magical. Zander and Maddie, two people who have both been hurt in the past, cannot escape that magic that Christmas brings.

Golden Angel - A Sassy Christmas. This one hit so close to how I felt as a mother. It was really emotional to read about Angel and her struggles to live life as a new mom but also trying to re-kindle the romance with her husband Adam. A very emotional story for me.

Annabel Joseph - A Very Mephisto Christmas. It has been while since I have read about Mephisto and his slave, Molly. It was great to read that their lives have grown to include children and them being parents. Their connection to each other was still strong and everlasting. You sometimes wonder what the future brings for these dynamic couples.

I hope the authors who I did not comment on, realize that I didn’t simply because of the review would be way, way too long. But please understand I loved each and every story. It is a great anthology and I thank every author who allowed me to connect with so many of my book-friends and to meet new ones during this festive season!

I received an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

A compilation of BDSM stories from several authors. A few were quite good, others I felt you had to be familiar with their series to really appreciate the short story they were telling. Unfortunately, most of these writers were new to me so, I lacked previous knowledge of the characters they were describing. The steam scale varied vastly between authors, between 3/5 and 5/5. Some strong language. Loved Kay Elle Parker's Loki most.

5 ⭐ I loved it. I’ll revisit it like an old friend. This book is moving right into my favorites category. I would recommend it to everyone, even people that don’t ask. I will buy this author’s work in the future.
4 ⭐ A great read. I’ll probably reread it if the mood strikes me. It was enjoyable, just not portable magic. I would recommend it.
3 ⭐ I liked it. It was a nice way to pass the time. I doubt I’ll reread it. I’d recommend it to a friend looking for a specific story. Thanks for the memories.
2 ⭐ I completed the Herculean task of finishing this book. At times, it felt like I was Prometheus and the suffering would never end. It just wasn’t for me.
1 ⭐ I couldn’t finish this book. How do I put this? It’s not me, it’s you.
