Throughout her high school and college years, she received many accolades for her writing ability to include the Coca-Cola Young Writers Award and honorable mention in the Sandhills Writers’ Conference.

She was also a contributor to Loving Black Men An Anthology, for which proceeds are donated to the NAACP. Her poetry work has also been featured in several magazines including Precious Stones and Soul Say On Universal Languages Issue 3.
Untamed has been featured in several print ads including SWAG Magazine CA and Kontrol Magazine. Untamed has also had several author features and interviews including noteworthy interviews with NTUNED Radio Show, the Poetic Soul Talk Show and PD Radio which generates thousands of listeners.
Her diligent work led to a budding opportunity as a writer and interviewer with SWAG Magazine CA and SWAG Magazine Souf based out of the Bay Area in California. Her interviewees and write-ups include Hollywood Pompeii, DJ N-Fluence (a budding DJ from Australia) and Hazel E from VH1's Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, just to name a few.
She is also a dedicated volunteer for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. As a volunteer and committee member for M.A.D.D., she is committed to honoring the memory of her family members who passed away in a drunk driving crash by creating a legacy of giving to support other victims and survivors. In March 2015, she released a poetry book that is near and dear to her heart entitled, This Side of Heaven-A Poetic Journey of Strength and Survival which rose to the charts of Amazon as the #1 Hot New Release and an Amazon Bestseller. It is a collection of poems dedicated to her daughter, mother and cousin for which all proceeds are donated to M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving).
She is married with three beautiful children, one angel and is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College and is a member of Sigma Alpha Pi.

Oh you want pettiness, messiness, drama, & love in a story that feels as authentic as soul food?! Say Less!!!!! Again, Untamed shows out with the way she can tell a story that feels like you're eaves dropping on those neighbors down the block that are always in some mess...yup, those neighbors. These characters take your emotions on a ride through their lives and will have you hollering, laughing, and shaking your head at the things they get themselves into. I will say over and over, Untamed does URBAN books right! Hands down, I am invested in these characters and will be sad when (if ever) this series ends.

Trinity: If, “a hot mess,” was a person it would be Trinity. She was all over the place in this one.
Terrence: If, “the road to recovery,” was a person it would be Terrence. He lost a lot in the name of love.
Pooch: If, “a product of my environment,” was a person it would be Pooch. He showed a different side to himself in this one.
Charice: If, “Cruella de Vil,” was a person it would be Charice. She’s out here breaking hearts and killing dreams.
Ryan: If, “husband,” was a person it would be Ryan. He’s trying to be a good husband to the best of his abilities.
Lincoln: If, “loyal to a fault,” was a person it would be Lincoln. For his love he was willing to wait by the phone for her attention.

Gavin: If, “put some respect on my name,” was a person it would be Gavin. He showed at every turn he rides for LaMeka.
Tony: If, “that’s what you’re a** gets,” was a person it would be Tony. He had to learn you can’t f*ck with everybody.
Lucinda: If, “the grass was greener,” was a person it would be Lucinda. Had she water her own grass it would’ve stayed forever green.
Mike: If, “pick me, pick me,” was a person it would be Mike. He’s so used to playing second to Aldris he didn’t know how to handle being picked first.
Aldris: If, “remember who you are,” was a person it would be Aldris. When Aldris remembered he’s a father first the game changed.
Jennifer: If, “getting that old thing back,” was a person it would be Jennifer. She wasn’t the weak b*tch we thought, she was just a manipulative one.
Book five was a whirlwind, but it’s not over yet stay tune for the conclusion of things in book 6.

This series is EVERYTHING !!! I can't believe how once I started listening, I became involved with each character and wanted to know what was going to happen to them.
