Is this AR's way of making up for the disaster of last time? Because they succeeded!
This was a little reminiscent of MINK with the overly naïve heroine and bulldozing hero, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Safety: SAFE, both virgins, hero is over the top jealous and he is jealous of everyone so I wouldn't say there's om drama.

"Teach Me" is the story of Heidi and Reese.

Disappointed!

I miss the old AR who wrote extremely smutty romances. The blurb gave me hope but..

Heroine is a student struggling to make ends meet, when she gets a chance to work as a waitress in a strip club. Hero is there to celebrate his friend's bachelor party. One look at the heroine, and he wants a lap dance. However, next day he realizes she's his student.
Now this could have been a kinky student/teacher romance, but shockingly the hero continues to growl and offer the heroine money, while falling for her and being protective? His intentions and what he thought about her was pretty confusing.

So much potential!

It's like reading the old tale of Alexa Riley (and me automatically reminiscing the 1st three of the "Breeding" series). It was hot, sexy, and pure lusty smutty goodness. So if you like Coach, or Kingpin, or Thief, or Judge then you would like this one. One sweet naive barely legal h and one very much adult professor H. So, yes. It was nice to see the old AR considering way-too-different plot style from them lately.

It was your standard “meet virgin girl at the strip club, fall in love, she shows up in your class the next day” trope. I did like that they threw in that Reese was a virgin. I’m always a sucker for a virgin hero even if he did act exactly like he knew what he was doing. As is pretty standard for Alexa Riley the sexy scenes were hot and well done.

Well this was yummy.

Reese (virgin, hot billionaire) has the unfortunate task of taking his cousin out for his bachelor party. He doesn’t want to be there because this isn’t his scene. He doesn’t date, just focuses on his work. While there he spots a hot little waitress and instantly his D gets hard. Heidi (virgin, college student) is desperate for money and takes a job as a waitress at a strip club. She’s shocked when a sexy patron in her section grabs her and insists on a private dance. She’s not a stripper so she refuses. He offers to pay any price she wants.

They go back and she gives him a dance, right on his lap, until she orgasms. Unfortunately, the night is broken up by Reese’s drunk cousin. Reese is determined to track down Heidi but isn’t having any luck until she shows up in his classroom. Reese is a douche at first because he assumes the innocence Heidi portrays is a lie and she’s really just looking for money. So he offers her money for another shot at her. She’s insulted, duh.

Anyway – we go on – sexy sex is had – HEA.

I love Reese’s OTT possessiveness. He def never acts like a virgin. He’s dirty and commanding and a little unhinged when it comes to her.

Mediocre. It wasnt awful but the sex scenes were kinda lame and the OTTness was laughable at some points.

RETELLING OF THE BOOK AHEAD

So a virgin man who's forced to go to a strip club finds a virgin girl who is serving for the first time and it's insta-lust/love (the line is too thin to figure out which).

Is a virgin couple a thing now? It used to be only the girls but lately the guys have been all virgins in these novellas too.

I might be a virgin, but my body knows exactly what to do with her in my arms

You have to give them praise for being confident of their non-existing abilities

You think I’m going to let you stay in that place? You’re out of your mind

I need to get myself a rich man who'd carry me wherever I want to go just because he's rich. Yes, I would make him my carrying butler.

Closing the door and leaving her in my room alone might be one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I know right now she needs to trust me

Woah woah woah, the one bed trope is not taking place in this book? I thought Reese would take advantage of the sad situation.

I flinch when the lightning flashes and thunder booms once more. Before I know what I’m doing, I’m out of bed and rushing to Reese’s door

So some student told on their secret affair and Heidi and suspended so what does Reese do? He quits too since he has the ability to shower with money.

After I’d been kicked out of the university, I wasn’t upset like I would have thought

Whereas people like me had to keep retrying to get into uni, lol. The irony.

And they lived with babies and fulfilling their fantasies forever.

Overall, it wasn't a bad book. It had unrealistic talk and situations but it was bearable.

This book was just a lot of fun- and was everything I was hoping it would be in all of its OTT and genuinely questionable glory. The spice was just great in this one- but yeah, it was just a short and sweet read.

Heidi necesita tanto, tanto el dinero que acude a una entrevista como camarera en un club de striptease. No es lo suyo, para nada, para ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA, pero si quiere seguir pagando la universidad no le queda más remedio. Se supone que solo servirá bebidas pero cuando el hombre más atractivo que ha conocido nunca le ofrezca un montón de dinero solo por un baile privado ella no se ve capaz de rechazarlo. Sólo que Reese quiere algo más que un baile privado, la quiere a ella, para siempre.

No me suele gustar los libros profesor/alumna pero en este caso estas mujeres siempre hacen que me guste hasta lo que nunca lo hace 🤣. Es verdad que el tema apenas se toca así que supongo que eso también ayudó. Me ha gustado mucho, ya sabéis que a mí lo que escriben raras veces no me gusta. Ya sabéis cómo va, es un libro cortito para pasar el rato así que sí, lo recomiendo!
