Finding her Forever

Rate this book
She wants to find a home. He’s ready to move on.
Paige quits her city job for a fresh start in small-town Two Hearts, Tennessee—and brings a stray dog. She bought a Victorian house she plans to turn into a bed and breakfast—no matter how much effort it takes. Romance? She doesn’t have time for it—even with CJ, her handsome carpenter.

CJ enjoys moving from place to place. When matchmakers focus on him, he isn’t sure if he should stay or leave. Then he learns they’re after Paige, too. The two of them may have to plot to avoid becoming the next “I do.”

Will a wedding-loving town bring them together? Or push them apart?

And what surprise awaits Paige as she starts her life over?

“Sometimes giving up is just choosing a different path.”

If Daisy the Welsh corgi doesn’t pull on your heart strings, CJ McIntosh definitely will!

I enjoyed this sweet romance featuring Paige Conroy and CJ. It was unique, romantic, and I liked getting to see this town come to life.

I’m fully invested and can’t wait for book 4.

This was an interesting story. The first part was a little hard for me to get into but about halfway through it picked up and I found myself reading faster. At first I found Paige about to hit a computer key that would commit her to buying a house that she had only seen in pictures. Possibly a little unrealistic but required for where the author was taking the story.
Moving from a large city to small town Two Hearts was an adjustment for Paige but her dream was to open a bed and breakfast. Only she couldn’t cook, not a lick. The house she bought was a money pit that saw her savings dwindling bit by bit. In steps CJ, a construction guy, who offers to help her even though he had missed buying this very house by only a day or two.
The more work they do the more they find needs to be done! I was charmed by the characters in this small town and how they all worked together to help others. All the work being done left me tired just reading it but I also enjoyed drinking a hot cup of coffee along with the characters, only I didn’t have a piece of pie or a delicious scone from Dinah’s to go with it.
And before the story ended Paige saw her vision for what she wanted to do make a complete one eighty! The little corgi she adopted and brought with her added fun and adventure too, especially in trying to find a name for her. And she made the cover quite adorable! I’m looking forward to the next story in this series.
I received a complimentary copy of this ebook from the author but was not required to write a review positive or otherwise.

I absolutely love visiting Two Hearts 💕
It’s a fantastic small town where everyone knows everybody and everything and is only too happy to help out where they can. In this latest addition we meet Paige and her corgi Daisy who on a whim buys the house that CJ was umming and aaahing over. It’s in dire need of a lot of help more then Paige realises and being the good man that he is, drifter CJ steps in to help out. There’s drama, there misunderstandings, there’s some terrible cooking and then there’s a wedding or two and it was lovey to revisit with old friends and make new ones. It’s a fantastic sweet clean romance to curl up with.

What does Paige get when she follows her heart? A dog, a dream, a little drama and a date with destiny in the tiny town of Two Hearts!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It is a fun and easy read, going through a whirlwind romance for Paige and CJ.
My only slight disappointment is that we didn’t get to find out what CJ stands for…ahh.. but maybe in a future book in this series?!?
I had previously read the first two books in this series, and while doing so helps as a little more color to the background and secondary characters, I believe this book could also be read as a stand-alone novel.

I was provided an ARC of this novel by the author, but all opinions and statements made her are my own.

Paige is an accountant working in New York City. Her hours are long and her social life is non-existent. While looking online, she sees a house for sale in Two Hearts, Tennessee. The price is amazing and she decides to take a risk, move to Tennessee and open a bed and breakfast. She buys the house, sight unseen, packs up her small duplex and as she is driving away, finds out that her next door neighbor left his dog when he moved away. She loads the Corgi in the front seat and sets out for her new home. CJ is wanderer and an amazing carpenter. He's had his eye on a Victorian fixer-upper in Two Hearts Tennessee but when he finally decides to buy the home and fix it up, he sees that it has already been purchased. People in small town Two Hearts help one another so when Paige asks, CJ agrees to help with the renovations which are way more extensive than she thought from the pictures of her home online. While working at renovations, Paige tries her hand at cooking and learns she can't even cook toast, much less and entire breakfast. When three matchmakers try to work their magic with Paige and CJ, the two make a pact to pretend to be dating just to get the matchmakers off their backs. A fun, light hearted, clean romance.

Paige leaves her stressful accounting job in New York to buy a fixer-upper lakefront home in a tiny town in Tennessee, intending to turn it into a B&B. C.J. is an ex-military carpenter, who travels around the country. He was tentatively going to buy the same house and start to put down roots, until Paige bought the property. He offers to help Paige with her fixer-upper. This is a sweet, slow romance in a great small town. There are many friendly characters, a loveable dog, and a sweet HEA. I couldn’t give it five stars since this story felt most suitable for younger readers. As an adult, it didn’t make sense that a savvy New York accountant and college grad would just buy a house sight-unseen, without an inspection. There were other things that also didn’t make sense for an intelligent modern woman like Paige, such as her alternating shyness and stubbornness, her incredible failure to follow even the simplest recipes, and her failure to research the town (including that there was already a motel) before investing her future in it. Ultimately though, this is the sweet, clean romance that was promised, with a satisfying HEA. I received an advance copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

We are back in the sweet town of Two Hearts, Nashville. I love this town because it’s so much like a small town, where EVERYONE knows everyone and where they all pitch in if there’s a need. It’s also a town where matchmaking is running wild.
So, when you’re single and a new member of the town, you better watch out.
This is what Paige and CJ had to overcome.
I loved all the delightful banter and crazy events that happened with these two. Throw into the mix a cute Corgi dog and a house that needs lots of TLC and hard work, and you have a very enjoyable story to read. Such wonderful main characters and delightful interactions. They brought a smile to my face!
Cathryn Brown has produced another wonderful book to add to her collection of matchmaking and romance stories. She also tied in some of her sweet characters from past stories, which always is fun to see, because it really does make the community feel real.
If you want to read books that are clean, romantic, fun, and quick to read, then this author is someone you should check out!
I highly recommend you pick this book up.
I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Fed up with her overbearing boss and time-suck of a job in a big city, Paige decides to give it all up in favor of small-town living in Two Hearts, Tennessee. She buys a sight-unseen decrepit Victorian house, with the intention of turning it into a B&B. Unknown to her, her purchase derails footloose carpenter CJ's dream of buying and fixing up the old Victorian for himself. When Paige actually moves in and discovers the awful condition of her new home, she is heartsick, as she realizes repairing the house will eat up all of her remaining savings. Additionally, the only person capable of helping her do the repairs is CJ! As Paige and CJ start working together, the town matchmakers begin trying to set each of them up (not necessarily with each other), resulting in plenty of awkward situations. This story is a very sweet romance, as both of the characters are eminently likeable. Those who have read the preceding books set in Two Hearts will recognize many familiar characters, which makes it all the more fun. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who appreciates small-town romances!

Paige buys a “fixer-upper” in Two Hearts, Tennessee, to convert into a bed and breakfast. CJ, a skilled carpenter who had his eye on the house, gets roped into helping her restore it by the mayor of the town. Yes, she’s a busy body, but she does it out of kindness, so you can’t be too mad at her. Unfortunately, she’s also the head of a group of matchmakers who try to make sure that no one in their wedding crazy town goes unhitched. After a couple of surprise blind dates, CJ and Paige decide to pretend they’re seeing each other so the well-meaning matchmakers will let them alone. After all, they’re friends and they know they don’t have a future together. She wants to set down roots, and he plans on leaving town after helping her with the house, so what could possibly go wrong?

Finding Her Forever is a lovely romance with a charming, small town feel to it. Paige and CJ are believable, likeable characters and the supporting cast are well textured too. This is the third book in the Wedding Town Romances, and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I was given a free copy of this book by the author.

Paige is an independent woman. She is ready to leave her fast pace life in New York City for much slower pace of a small town. So she buys a big house in Two Hearts, Tennessee online, quits her job, loads her car with her personal belongings and just as she's leaving, she discovers her neighbor had abandoned his dog when he moved. So at the last minute she stops her car, opens the passenger door, for the dog to join her, since she had been feeding the dog when her neighbor forgot. When she arrives at her house, she realizes it is more run down than she was lead to believe. C.J. is a carpenter who is ready to settle down in Two Hearts, until he discovers the house he wants has been sold. When he discovers Paige is the new owner, he offers to help her fix it up. Will he fall for Paige or will he keep his heart intact? I enjoyed this book and catching up with old friends. Even though I was given a copy of this book by the author, it in no way influenced my opinion and this is my honest review.

This was my first trip to Two Hearts, Tennessee, a.k.a. the Wedding Town, and I can’t wait to go back for another visit! The townspeople quickly became friends and I look forward to seeing how they continue to revitalize their charming town—while engaging in matchmaking schemes!

Finding Her Forever brings a new resident to Two Hearts: Paige. She’s a “military brat” hoping to find her forever home by buying an abandoned Victorian home and converting it into a B&B. CJ is a skilled carpenter. He has moved from town to town but thinks Two Hearts may be the place where he can finally put down roots, too. Unbeknownst to both, they’re interested in the same house, but Paige buys it remotely from New York City before CJ makes a final decision.

I enjoyed seeing how Paige and CJ both move out of their “comfort zones” and learn to take risks to get what they really want. The journey is far from easy, but new friends and funny moments illuminate the way!

I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest opinion of that story.

Paige takes a leap of faith and buys a home, sight unseen, in Two Hearts, TN. She has her heart set on opening a B&B. As she’s leaving NYC, she unexpectedly ends up with a companion, her neighbor’s abandoned Corgi. Once she arrives in TN, things don’t quite go as planned. She meets CJ, who decides to help with her renovations.

Neither Paige nor CJ have time for a relationship. She’s wanting to settle down and he’s not the kind to stay in once place for too long. Can the two of them ever see what everyone else around them sees?

A sweet, clean, heartwarming small-town story with meddling busybodies, new friends, new beginnings, making dreams come true, finding true love, and a HEA. I love this series! The residents in Two Hearts may know your business before you do, but they’re also there at the drop of a hat to help in any way they can.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Loved this book with its great characters and idyllic setting in Two Hearts, Tennessee. Paige has traveled around the world with her military dad, but her life is still not her own while she works at a demanding accounting job in New York City.

CJ, a handsome nomadic carpenter, has recently moved to Two Hearts. He has his heart set on a major fixer-up project on the lake, but before he makes an offer, the house is sold. CJ thinks it might be time to move on, but then he agrees to help out the overwhelmed Paige who bought the house sight unseen.

Two Hearts is a delightful town where people are friendly and love to help each other. No matter the issues or troubles, somehow, all the problems are resolved in just the right way. Cassie, Bella and Mrs. Brantley, are back from the first two books in the series. Additional colorful characters bring even more fun to this clean, very enjoyable book.

I am a volunteer ARC for this book in order to give my honest opinion. This book had great characters, small town relationships, a money pit of a house, and a great setting. Paige purchased this house on the internet with the hopes of opening a bed and breakfast. She quickly finds out what it will cost her as well as the hard labor involved. CJ was in town hoping to purchase the same house but was late to do it. At the recommendation of the mayor/matchmaker, CJ begins to help Paige with the house. Attempts are made by the town matchmakers to set both CJ and Paige up on blind dates with singles in the town which creates humor. CJ and Paige come up with the idea of fake dating to throw the matchmakers off of them. This is a beautiful story in which Paige finds her true calling through a variety of mishaps and CJ realizes he may truly want permanence in his life. You will need to read the book to see how it ends!

This fun story will have you falling in love with the characters and hoping there's a happily ever after for them.  Paige was a sweet character I really liked because she had a heart of gold and believed everything could work out.  I liked how she adopted her neighbor's  corgi after she was abandoned. It was fun to find out how she named her new dog.She naively bought her first home online in Two Hearts, Tennessee with plans to turn it into a bed and breakfast.  She got more than she bargained for although she did hire a cute contractor named CJ.  I enjoyed returning to Two Hearts to see what was happening with the other characters I have enjoyed reading about.  I enjoyed the matchmakers' antics and I was glad that they were  still up to their fun, interesting tricks.   I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Matchmaking shenanigans

CJ and Paige start off a little rocky as she bought the house he's been considering right out from under him. There's a spark or something when they first meet and as the only carpenter in Two Hearts he offers his expertise to help in her renovations. He's hoping to discourage her from renovations and opening as a Bed & Breakfast.

As they work together on the house they discover feelings for each other. But locals try their hand at matchmaking as they're two singles in town. Once they realize that, they concoct a plan to convince everyone they're in a relationship.

The plan backfires as they realize that the feelings are real but they don't know how to tell each other of the growing feelings. Fate intervenes and with an unusual twist Paige and CJ realize dreams can come true!

This is a book about a woman who has big dreams and is willing to work hard for them to happen. This is also about a town that is bringing itself back to life with a wedding theme. Two Hearts TN is a town that is down on its lock after many people have moved away. The series starts with a runaway bride who is a wedding planner to many stars. Next comes a wedding dress designer and finally Paige who will by the end become part of the town (I keep how a secret). The way leading to how and what part has many parts that had me laughing out loud. It is a clean wholesome romance that is a very engaging read. The characters come so alive you feel like you know them personally and would like to visit the town if it was real.

Cathryn Brown has another winner on her hands. Centered in and around the town of Two Hearts, a down-on-its-luck small town, slowly being revitalized by the new people moving in with great business ideas. Paige, our heroine, is no exception, with her plans to renovate a long-abandoned home on the lake and then it into a B&B. CJ, the hero, is a carpenter and handyman and he becomes involved in her project and ultimately with her.
There are various twists and turns to their story and a few glitches along the way but, in the end, there is a most satisfying HEA. Looking forward to the next book in this series and also planning to take a look back to ensure I have read all the prior books taking place in Two Hearts (although this book can easily be read as a stand-alone)!

This if the first book by Cathryn Brown that I have read, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was filled with friendships, romance, humor and a cute stray dog that made herself one of the family. It is one of those books that works its way into your heart and makes you want more. I looked forward to sneaking some reading in whenever I could find the time.
I enjoyed seeing the growth in both CJ and Paige as they worked together to fix up an old Victorian that Paige hoped to use as a bed and breakfast in this small town. I also found myself loving the other characters in the book, and I was so happy to realize that this was book three in a series. I can’t wait to read the first two and other books by this author. She is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

The town of Two Hearts, Tennessee, a small town that has seen its glory days fade, is coming back! And of all things, the wedding business is playing a big part in its resurrection. In fact, Paige learned about the town when she read about the wedding of a famous country music star that took place there! She decided it would be a good place to make her dream of owning a bed and breakfast a reality. Packing all she owned into her small car, she and her former neighbor's abandoned dog take off for Two Hearts with high hopes. Little does she expect the twists and turns her journey to her forever will take. Such a fun read by this top-notch author.

Finding Her Forever introduces Paige Conroy, a NY transplant moving to Two Hearts TN. She bought a home sight unseen and is hoping to start a bed and breakfast. Before leaving NY she picked up a passenger, her neighbor left town without his corgi. Carpenter CJ McIntosh had his eyes set on owning the same home and fixing it up. He’s disappointed that it was sold. When he meets Paige he wonders if she knows how what lies in store to get the house up and going! He offers to help her fix up the house and the two of them find that they are attracted to each other and have things in common. This was a fun book and you get drawn in as soon as you start reading!

This book is #3 in Wedding Town series by Cathryn Brown. Paige has quit her accounting job and headed out of New York to refurbish an aging Victorian into a bed and breakfast in a small town. Unfortunately the advertisement and subsequent dealings with the seller didn’t prepare her for the reality of the house. To the rescue comes CJ, master carpenter and single hunk! With sparks flying, a country music singer bride and matchmaking mayor and assorted others, Paige gets both a beautiful Victorian home and a career she had never dreamed of. I’m looking forward to the remainder of the series.

I received an ARC of this book and am reviewing it for no compensation

Paige may have taken a huge risk buying the big house in Two Hearts, Tennessee but she feels the risks are worth the better quality of life she will have. The house is in even worse shape then she thought so she finds a contractor, CJ, and together they start the renovations needed to make the house a bed and breakfast. Meeting the other residence of Two Hearts turns out to be pretty amazing, warm, friendly, kind people all working together to make their town better. This sweet romance has it all, matchmakers, country singers, weddings and a town rebirth. I enjoyed the relationship between Paige and CJ, employee and employer to friends to so much more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was very happy to learn that it was from the Wedding Town Romance series as I did not realize that when I downloaded it. It was one of those books that grabbed me from the beginning and I wanted to find out what was going to happen but I didn't want to finish it as it was soooo good. The characters were fun and made it an enjoyable read. One of the things I really enjoyed was there were emotions talked about but they were not overly expressed. I look forward to more books coming out in this series.

Paige wanted to leave the big city for small town life. She buys a house from looking in pictures and decides it would make a great bed and breakfast inn. The day she leaves she finds that her neighbor had moved out and left his Corgi. CJ had wanted to buy the same house but kept thinking it over until it was too late. Loved how Paige went through all kinds of names before she got to Daisy. Sweet clean romance with a very cute storyline. I really enjoyed it.

Finding Her Forever is a sweet, heartwarming, small town romance. I love the town of Town Hearts and its inhabitants and many matchmakers. Grace and CJ pretend to date to stop the matchmakers meddling. (Does that ever work?) As CJ helps Grace restore the old Victorian home, of course they fall in love. That is why we read these books! This well written romance held my attention from the beginning as Grace adopts a dog for het new life in TN. There is a lot of charm, some real neighborliness and lots of witty banter to keep the reader's attention.

Paige wants a slower life so she leaves her job in NY and buys a house in Two Hearts Tennessee. She wants to have a bed and breakfast. But when she sees it’s she finds out that it needs a lot of work to make it into what she needs. But the only man that can help her with the construction is the same one that was going to but it and have it for himself! Will he help if she asks him? Also with the people in this town stop with the matchmaking? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

More than

Well written book. Grabbed my attention from the start.
Paige buys a house sight unseen thinking she will open a bed and breakfast place. She can't cook and the house is a disaster.
CJ is a carpenter and goes to work for her. Everyone seems to think they need to find him a woman.
Paige and CJ decide to be a fake couple to get the matchmakers to stop.
Throw in a country business singer with a ruined wedding dress and a wedding photographer who gets hurt to make one very interesting read.

A great clean romance! Come back to Two Hearts, Tennessee. Paige moves from the city to the country and buys a house sight unseen. It needs more work than what she thought. CJ has checked out the house and wants to buy it, but waits so long to make a decision that it is taken out of his hands. He decides to help Paige in fixing up what he thought was going to be his home. Being in proximity with another creates a great romance. I love the characters (and the dog!) Another great book by Cathryn Brown. Can’t wait to read more of her books!

I'm quite fond of interconnected stories, so I keep coming back to this series, liking the premise but somewhat disappointed in the execution. Each story builds on characters from previous novels, as the protagonists fall in love with the town and each other. This one wasn't my favorite; as the plot was somewhat lacking, it could have been an interesting dilemma: someone wanting to settle down in a small town falling in love with someone ready to move on, but it quickly became a mere shadow of the initial premise. I loved Daisy tought!
