The good guys club escape from the alien to a spot where they were supposed to meet Agent Fox. They are in the right place but they find out that they are not in the right time. The escape pod turns out to be a time machine and they have landed 65 million years earlier when the earth was crawling with dinosaurs.

Mr. Snake becomes more confident after saving the guys and takes a lead in coming up with a plan to escape yet again. They escape into the right time but the alien invasion has already begun on Earth and they also find out that one dinosaur has also come along to the present day. That's not all, they also gain some superpowers after stepping into the time portal.

It was another hilarious addition to the series. I loved the art as usual. I also loved the special addition of The Glamorous Life of Dr. Rupert Marmalade's reality TV show. Justin Beaver is going to portray Dr. Marmalade in a movie based on his life.

A dino special!

The Bad Guys end up 65 million years in the past and have to fight donor while trying to get home! Meanwhile agent Fox is waiting for them in the present time as the devil alien attacks, so cute! I see why kids love this series!!

I'm getting really tired of the repetitiveness of this series. Run, be chased, solve one problem, create new one . . . repeat fifty times.

Two things I did like about this one: the psychedelic trip through time, and the cute Velociraptors.

If the library gets the rest of the series, I'll probably read 'em. Otherwise, it's sayonara, Bad Guys.

Time travel! Dinosaurs! Disguises!
(How IS Shark so good at disguises? He doesn't even have hands...)

This series is fun but I think I've ODed so I'll take a short break before moving to book 8 and finding out if aliens conquer the Earth.

Screw reading order say my kids, we're going to just read them as we find them. Doesn't matter. I mean sure, it's a little confusing figuring out what the hell is going on when you've not read the preceding books but it actually doesn't matter as the characters remain fun, the situations ridiculous and I'm just so happy that my kids are choosing to read for fun. I like these books a lot. The adult in me is going to have to secretly read them all first in correct order.

While space robots have come to Earth, the BG’s escape pod ends up sending them back all the way to the Cretaceous period (65 mil years ago) and get into some dino-shenanigans while try to get back home. When they do, they discover some strange changes to themselves. Bonus material includes an interview with our alien butt villain, a BG quiz and a few quick activities. A- (91%/Excellent)

Mr. Snake after getting confidence in his place in a team, takes charge when things get a little timey-wimey. I was worried this would lead to a conflict and it almost did, but Mr. Snake didn't want to lead, he's just a kick ass wingman and I think that's great.
I wish we spent more time in dinosaur times, but if Milton is a regular member of the Bad Guys Club and becomes Mr. Raptor, I would be so happy.
This was the best book in awhile I think. Definitely not so many butts and farts which is always a plus.

Oh also, I really loved the drug trip through time. That was fun. I hope the superpowers pay off next book.

I would die for Milton the dinosaur. I loved this one like genuinely maybe my favorite thus far. One of my favorite things in cartoons is when they go through like a time warp and their body changes so I was really happy to see that in graphic novel form. I just felt so much joy with this idk it was really cool. ALSO GIVING THEM SUPERPOWERS IS SO FUCKING COOL. The shark getting shapeshifting is literally so smart >>>

#DieBullebakke – Aaron Blabey
#Episode7
#Dinkjydissesourus?!
#ProteaBoekhuis

I haven't read any other books in the series. A kid in my class got one and loved it. I somehow got this copy for free, probably from Scholastic, and decided to check it out.

From what I understand there is a group of "bad guys," meaning gross creatures like snakes, spiders, sharks, etc. They are trying to prove they can be good. They all wear suits. Even the piranha.

In this adventure, they are trying to get back to the planet to save it from aliens, but end up in a time machine that takes them back to the dinosaurs. Silliness ensues.

My favorite part was when they were in the portal and turning into all kinds of weird things. I do think it's a bit young for my fifth graders, but I also think they'd love it, so maybe that means they're perfect. I'll probably purchase the rest of the series.

This kind of graphic novel for kids was popularized by Captain Underpants and then Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but I hadn’t had a look at any of them until I read a bunch of the Bad Kitty books (which I loved!) with my niece. The Bad Guys movie last year was pretty great, but it was probably just as well I never read this book with my niece, since as it turns out it might have been a little confusing, since the story is serialized into other volumes I didn’t have. But still fun! I can imagine liking it even more if I had been a kid.

Daughter review:
The quiz and games at the end were fun! The dinosaurs and portal and everything was super fun!

My review:
Story was fun but felt like there was a ton of empty dialogue in this book. I’d give it 3 stars.

Abit silly. But that's the point I guess! I did like the shift in leadership dynamics between Wolf and Snake - which made me realise that I am invested in this series. To hear Harrison laugh with such joy is still the reason for reading!

I continue to love this series and these are the most requested books in my elementary library. This one was not one of my favorites but it will still be a big hit with the kids.

Am I supposed to laugh this hard at a children’s book? Idk but I did. Loved the cute dinos.

More of a picture book than it is a novel but the pages felt very empty and the story felt lacking as well. I didn't like how the ending left off at a very deep cliff hanger, almost making you want to buy the next book, which makes the whole novel feel like a marketing scheme. Otherwise the book is great for people who want a quick read of a comic book.

*This review was verbally created by an 8-year-old boy, and transcribed by me*

The first thing that I really like is that there is a quiz and activities in the back of the book. I took the quiz and I got Mr. Snake!* I also got to draw Mr. Shark as whatever I wanted!

I liked a lot of stuff in this book. I mean, I liked a lot of it.

I liked when Mr. Snake is asking everyone if they are feeling okay and awesome when going through the portal . . . it’s so hilarious! It was my favorite part.

I also liked when the Bad Guys catch up with Agent Fox in real time and it basically repeats the beginning of the book.

Oh! And the part when Mr. Wolf gets his super power and is all buff and ripping his clothes off.

My favorite characters are still the same.

>< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< ><

From a parent’s perspective.

Are we finally going to meet Agent Fox’s gang? I’m a little more excited for that than I should be.

I loved the introduction of Milton the dinosaur. I’m a small sucker for anthropomorphic dinosaurs.

Not quite sure I liked this one, since I don’t really remember it after a few days since reading it. That or there’s just not a lot to report on.

The activities are kind of neat. I found myself doing them myself. There’s jokes, a word search, a quiz, etc. Jam packed with extras.

*I knew that dang snake was his favorite character for a reason. They’re basically the same.

Aaron Blabey is just so talented! The Bad Guys are back with more crazy, hilarious adventures (this time involving time travel, dinosaurs, and an alien invasion). There's nothing I don't love about this book. Kids love it, I love it. Keep them coming!
