I was so excited for this story!!! The blurb caught my attention and I immediately started reading the first part.

It was interesting and had a lot of premise.
However, it wasn’t only slow burn, it had a slow pace also, where the plot was moving too slowly. 🐌

The story was told by the heroine’s pov, Makenna’s.
When she was at high school she was dating Carter. But when she saw Reid looking at her intensely, she couldn’t put him out of her mind...
I slightly surpassed it, due the the young of her age. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She broke up with Carter and started dating with Reid. While she was head over heels in love with Reid, she encountered Cal a couple of times and he he was at the back of her mind a few times and not in a friendly way... 🤦🏻‍♀️
Her relationship with Reid was so beautiful!! 🤩😍 Reid was a great man and loved Makenna so much!! 💘💘

So, when her relationship with Reid ended, she tried dating again after a two-years period, with Jaxon this time. But still, Cal was on her mind and to make it short, this emotional behaviour of hers and the slow pace of the story lessened my interest and dnf it @ 50%.

4.5 You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory STARS!

Umm...Holy shit! I was not expecting this book. I mean, yeah, I grabbed it because it sounded good, but I did not expect this story.

Makenna met the love of her life while in high school. She loved him fiercely and unconditionally. So, when Reid said he wanted to join the military, she supported his decision. They always supported one another. They were the perfect couple. Reid was perfect. So much so that he made her wait an entire year before they could have sex. Sounds stupid in so many ways, but it wasn't stupid. It was perfect.
"I want to be your first, Makenna. I want to be the first guy you touch that way and mean it. I want to be the first guy to touch you back. I ant to be the first guy you spend the night with. I want to be the first guy to know you...in the biblical sense," he told me with a grin. "And I want to be the first one you love. Not some bullshit high school crush either. Real shit. Like Angelina and Brad."

When tragedy strikes, no one is more upset and broken than Makenna. She is but a shell of herself.
It doesn't get easier. You get stronger. And in time, you realize what you once thought was broken, is actually something beautiful."

Cal is the boss' son. He is the epitome of dark and dangerous. Makenna doesn't know much about him, but knows she is drawn to him. She can't explain it, but the pull is there. After the pain of her past, she is hesitant to move on. Cal gets to her in unexpected ways. He draws her out of her shadows, he helps her to see that she is strong, and he makes her whole again. Not the same as before, but whole nonetheless.

This is not the story of one amazing man, but rather the story of two amazing men. Each man different, like night and day, they show Makenna what it's like to be consumed. She learns to love and she learns to live.

Is it Fall of 2016 yet? I need Cal's POV/the next book like right freaking now! I have to see these people again. I have to know more! Give. Me. More.

"You are mine, aren't you, Makenna?"

Sin With Me is my first book by Delaney Foster, but I can tell you within the first few chapters I was hooked, I love finding new to me authors to adore and I've definitely found one!
So we have high school sweethearts Mak & Reid. Their entire lives are planned out, they have a plan and are ready to take on the world.
Suddenly Reid's plans change. He no longer intends to follow in his father's footsteps but to instead join the Marines.
While this comes as a shock to Makenna she supports him, she always has and even though this isn't something she's necessarily comfortable with she has his back.
Meanwhile Mak continues working her waitressing job and becomes more and more interested in Cal, he's basically a mystery but something about him that keeps him on her mind.

When everything seems to good to be true it usually is. Mak and Reid's lives are changed one night, in a way that can never be fixed. Now Mak is faced with a new reality, one she never considered and she's lost.
Her friends try to help her, her co-worker and boss try to help her but no one can get through. When she finally gets up and tries to start her new life Cal is there. He's always in the shadows, always just out of reach. He's intriguing her and she's helpless to stop it.
Just when she figures out where her life is headed, becomes comfortable with the changes a secret comes out that could change everything.

Sin With Me is a story of true love, loss, moving on, struggling, fighting for what you want and taking back your life. But there's so much more to it along the way. I was hooked in the first few chapters and glued to my comfy chair until I was done. A one day read, almost a one sitting read had life not interfered!
My first book by the author has me easily addicted to her writing. I'm going to read her back list and hopefully never miss another new release.

I absolutely loved this book. It is emotional, intense, heartbreaking, and so, so good. The poor h, thinking her life is all planned out perfectly and then having the unthinkable happen. Having your plans ripped out from underneath you. Just wow. And then the turn her life takes with meeting Cal...it’s so very interesting and intense to read. I loved it!

This book is one that has you unable to stop turning the pages right from page one. The book starts with the main character, Makenna, tied to a wooden chair in a dark room with no idea where she is or how she got there. If that doesn’t make you want to keep reading, I have no idea what does.
After the prologue, you are brought back a little over two years in time. To a time when Makenna is in love with her high school sweetheart, Reid. Makenna is the girl next door type. The good girl who got good grades and rarely broke the rules. Reid on the other hand was the bad boy. He broke the rules, had girls pining for him, and usually got what he wanted. Somehow, Reid had his sights set on Makenna and he got her. She was head over heels for him. Reid decides to join the military, leaving Makenna to take care of their life at home, while waiting for him to return. Everything is perfect until one fateful night.
Then there is Cal. Callisto. Makenna’s boss’s son. He is sexy, mysterious, and has eyes for Makenna. There is something about Cal that Makenna just can’t figure out. Something mysterious about his life she just isn’t sure about, but she doesn’t know if she even wants to know.
Delaney Foster successfully managed to take my emotions and stomp on them. I cried, I laughed, I yelled, and I squealed. So much happens that you are left feeling like there has to be more, there needs to be more. I cannot wait to read Callisto’s story!

Makenna thinks she has the perfect life with the perfect boyfriend, Reid. They are inseparable and plan on staying that way. Reid is gone off and on for a period of time and Makenna learns to deal with it. She goes to college to become a nurse and works at a restaurant waiting tables and has the best boss in the world. Makenna starts getting nice gifts at work and wonders who the generous giver is but she just assumes it is Carlos, her boss. She feels comfortable working there and loves the other employees. They are there for her and also her two best friends Ryleigh and Brynn. Ryleigh is Reid’s sister and they are really good friends.
Callisto, also known as Cal is a stranger that has the most amazing blue eyes Makenna has ever seen. Those eyes tend to keep showing up in her life and she doesn’t know who they belong to just yet. Callisto shows up sometimes at her work and then he just disappears and it is annoying to her because she doesn’t know what his problem is; one minute he is nice and the next he is rude.
This book is just so unbelievable. I cried a lot and I felt the pain the characters were going through. It also made me very happy to see how things were going because good things happen to those who wait. Will Makenna ever find out that the stranger with the gorgeous blue eyes is Callisto? Will Makenna finish college and become a nurse like she has dreamed? Read and find out and I am sure you will love this book as much as I did.

An emotional read, the storyline is intense and heartwarming. A very beautifully written story of romance and acceptance. I enjoyed the way the story unfolds with the right amount of answers being leaked, the mysteries fun and alluring, never drawn out. Makenna is amazing, very strong and passionate a true survivor with an admirable personality. Reid is a beautiful soul whose aspirations and love is so consuming and sweet he's the perfect open book expressing himself in such a adoring manner that makes reading about him alluring. Cal is raw, passionate and mysterious his personality very captivating with such a sensual gentle side that makes reading about him addictive. I enjoyed the supporting characters for they were very fun and amusing with a love of life, giving encouragement and assurance when needed.

We start of with the prologue and WOW, instantly had my full attention and I needed to keep going. I love Makenna without a doubt and feel for her as though all her emotions are mine. Reid is smokin' and absolutely amazing and then you throw in Cal and man things get even more hot. My mind was coming to so many conclusions as the story went on and I was never right about the results. I like it better that was because the story is unpredictable and keeps you focused and needing to read to see what happens next. Within the same page I was tearing up and then a little further down I have a smile on my face, a few pages later I'm absolutely turned on. This book has it all.

Wow!

My very first mafia romance and I read the entire thing in one day. I got sucked in very quickly, and I absolutely loved the slow burn. My only criticisms are: the pinnacle event that happens toward the end of the book happened so quickly, didn’t have any buildup, the transition to it was confusing, and it was instantly resolved. However, I love the HEA, and I’m excited to read it from Cal’s POV. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, the slow burn, the spice was well written, and I’m interested to see more of Cal and Makenna’s story.

P.s. as a nurse, I was very confused with Makenna saying she was going to Med school and then graduating as a BSN. Med school is for doctors and nursing school for nurses. Additionally, nurses don’t just graduate with BSNs and then go straight into NP without having some acute and critical care experience. Most programs require the np students having critical care experience—I’ve worked with several nurses in NP school who came to work in my ICU to get their time in order to graduate. Working after hours at an urgent care wouldn’t truly give them the time and experience needed to thoroughly be an NP, and it surely wouldn’t qualify them for opening their own practice that quickly after graduating. And many states require them to work alongside a physician. HOWEVER, I know this is fiction…but it’s contemporary fiction. I loved the story, but this aspect was a little far fetched for me.

Can’t wait to read more of Cal and Makenna!!! 😍😍😍

Heartbreakingly Good. 🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️

Holy tear jerker. This artfully designed story of Maks meeting her TRUE love is a tapestry of carefully woven events that hit me in the feels. I’m talking a championship KO hit...the effort it took to walk a fine line of cultivating our REAL love interest without alienating the reader is pure finesse. It’s rare to read a novel that creates this expansive of a timeline without having the male love interest fall into a trap that turns him into either a choir boy or a manwhore (aka “bootymonster”🤣) This book walked that line like an expert high wire performer while still giving the reader a sensual man to feel confident with. 😍😍😍😍

GAH! WHAT A RIVETING, RAW & SUSPENSEFUL 5⭐ TEAR STEALER STUFFED WITH PLENTY OF HEART, HOPE & HEALING.!

Now that's what I'm talking about! Sin With Me gripped me by my throat & squeezed the breath right out of me! And I loved every breathless moment of it!

I am so excited to be writing this review on Sin With Me by author Delaney Foster. Please indulge me for a moment to reflect. I've been wanting to read this book for a while. So, when the time finally arrived to read it, I was fully joyed and up for the task. I really was. My heart was palpitating in excitement. I went into this book blind, not knowing anything about it other than what the blurb said. I do not read book reviews on those books I'm going to read.

Now, imagine this... There I was, all comfy cozy, reading. I was in the zone. You know the zone right? That all encompassing happy place you escape to and reside in, that only you the reader understands as you begin your new adventure, your new journey towards that happily ever after most of us seek in the "book world of romance."

There's a moment. "THE moment"... The realization that you've fallen so hard, so in love with your newest super fine Hero and Heroine. Swoonylicious and naughty Reid Landry. A man who knows what he wants and makes it happen. A man who treasures his woman. A man you want to steal for yourself. The beautiful, funny and quirky Heroine, Makenna Taylor, who has dreams of becoming a nurse one day. Until that happens, she waitresses. Her hilarious inner dialogue often had me laughing out loud. Reid and Makenna were high school sweethearts. An epic romance that followed them well after their school years ended.

While I was completely immersed in the pages of this book, I was in my head space just imagining all the love. Lalalalala.... Dancing and rejoicing in a field filled with the prettiest of flowers and all good things like happiness, sunshine, rainbows and unicorns. All while celebrating Reid and Makenna's righteous once in a lifetime love right alongside this beautiful and most endearing couple.

Then it happens. Life as you knew it seconds before is over and you are left a broken shell of who you used to be. Your life is now filled with incredible pain, shock, loneliness and darkness and there's no trapped door to escape from. There is no freaking way out!

I tell you, I was completely blindsided. Delaney Foster managed to rip my over-beating broken heart right out of my chest. Then threw in on the ground, stomped on it with a stiletto, smashing it to smithereens. I was left a torn, tattered and pulverized mess. It felt as though my heart was painfully skewered as I took every bit of pain right along with Makenna. It was excruciating, the pain in my heart. Hello ugly cries! Over and over again. Those ugly cries left a puddle of tears in my wake and all I wanted to do was drown in it. All I kept thinking at that time was "Oh no she didn't!!!"

I love when an author takes me on an unexpected bumpy twist filled ride and Ms. Foster did just that. It just means I had to buckle up and hold on tighter and be ready for anything. So, after some good, really long ugly cries, I took a deep breath, pulled up my big girl panties, gave myself a pep talk and continued on my journey. I'm so glad I did. What a journey it was.

LOVE for one woman ultimately leaves her LOST as she navigated through the most difficult time in her life.

Makenna waitresses at Suppato's Restaurant. It is owned and operated by Carlos Suppato who is rumored to have ties to the mob.

Enter Callisto (Cal) Suppato, the antihero. The son of Makenna's boss. He's very sexy, very growly, and highly intimidating to Makenna. Strangely, he seems to have taken an instant dislike to her. This both baffles and irritates Makenna. Especially since she feels drawn to him for some inexplicable reason. He is an enigma. An enigma that often had me scratching my head trying to figure him out.

What is his agenda towards Makenna? What are his secrets? All I'm going to say is my lips are sealed. But I'll tell you this... There were times I was left wanting to throat punch him for being an alphahole to Makenna. Yet, at the same time I was fanning my face to rid myself of the hot flashes he induced in me. There's just something about him I couldn't put my finger on. Pieces of the puzzle were missing. Why did Cal keep his distance from Makenna? Why was he so secretive, a loner? So many questions and I'm giving no answers.

Both Cal and Makenna are fighting their own demons and nightmares that haunt them and hold them back from moving forward. They are each struggling in their own darkness.

Since this book is in the Heroine's POV you don't get in his head to find out much. But that's okay, it doesn't take away from the story. It adds to the suspense. What I can tell you is that in time, if you take a closer look you’ll find him to be a tough as nails, big ole softy that will surprise you along the way. He's got lots of layers and as time goes on, he slowly peels those layers back and reveals to Makenna and to the reader who and what he's all about.

Everything played out and all my questions were answered. Believe me it is worth the wait. I was spellbound by him and like with Reid, I wanted to steal him for myself as well.

Reid Landry. The dreamy angel sent from heaven above stole Makenna's heart. Cal Suppato. The intimidating devil in disguise (or was he?) sent up from the darkness to guide Makenna back to the light. To heal her and set her demons from the past and from the present free.

Two men who couldn't be more different love the same woman equally. The one woman they both fought for and managed to have.

Dear gawd in heaven!! It's official. I'm a bonafide bookwhore. All I wanted to do while I was reading Sin With Me was sin with Reid and then sin with Cal. Even Jaxon Slade, sexy bartender, tickled my fancy! All three of these sizzling hot men brought out the sinner in me. And now my saint side is long forgotten. What's worse, I don't even feel bad about it!

There was an awesome suspense element in the book. Makenna's spidey senses are heightened and on alert. Why does she get a sense of foreboding when she sees a certain liquor store that paralyzes her in fear. Someone is watching her. Who is lurking in the darkness in a black hoodie? Who is the hooded man with no face who invades her dreams? Someone is angry. Is Makenna in danger? Was someone stalking Makenna?

I believe everything happens for a reason. There's fate and then there's destiny. Fate is what happens in the present time. Destiny is the future, the end result.

In this story, love, fate and destiny are at its very core. Fate is what brings Makenna and Reid together. They were each other's first real love. They were supposed to fall into an unconditional powerful love, and fall they did. I know "I" fell in love with them. But does that mean it's meant to last forever? Makenna feels like her life is over when that love is lost. That almighty powerful love is all a part of her life's trajectory towards something bigger. To find and to fall in love again. Her destiny still awaits her....

Fate, unexpected endings, letting go, starting over and new beginnings. Those things, whether good or bad, happy or sad are just the stepping stones on a path toward that destiny.

Some of my book favorites:

I love Makenna's sense of humor and sarcasm. both inner and outer dialogue. It's so needed in a story such as this and it really pays off.

I wanted to scream. JUST SCREAM to the heavens above and pray that the Almighty reach out to the author and give her a hefty amount of extra blessings. The last 1/4 of the book is soooooooo good, it just might cause your heart to skip a beat. Mine sure did!! And the twists. OH THE TWISTS!! Let's not forget the secrets. OH THE MIND BENDING SECRETS... Then finally, the ending. OH THE MAGNIFICENT ENDING!!! I CAN'T EVEN!!!

Supporting Characters, Brynn, Jaxon, Carlos & Ryleigh. I loved them all! I would love it if both Jaxon and Carlos had their own stories, their own happily ever after too. (Wink wink to the author.)

My most favorite thing about this book? Sorry, I can't tell you. It would spoil everything for you.

The slow burn the author delivers between Makenna and Cal ignites into a blazing inferno that only the devil himself could withstand. My own toes curled. It was such a contrast to the fast and furious burn between Reid and Makenna. I loved how different those two relationships were from one another. I embraced them both with open arms.

Makenna's conversations with, and visits to Reid were beautifully written, and were some of my favorite moments in the story. The way she poured out her feelings to him was so profound and bittersweet. She needed to let go, release her feelings of guilt, remove the weight from her hand that weighs her down and embrace the thought of moving forward, living life and loving again. Her destiny still awaits her after all...

Can Makenna let go of the deep seeded grief and guilt that burrows deep within herself and find her way out of the darkness and rid herself of the anxiety and panic that keeps her prisoner? Can she finally find the strength within herself to move forward and embrace newfound happiness? They say the truth will set you free. When the time comes for that truth to be set free, will she be ready to fly?

Cal has waited long enough. Can he face his own demons? A past that weighs him down and leaves him with a heavy heart. A heavy heart that also leaves him waiting and biding his time for the right moment? To be honest about who he is, who his family really is. Can he finally break free of the isolation he finds himself in and be with the one woman who changed his life in a blink of an eye? A moment in time is all it takes.

My favorite lines/ passage:

There are so many funny and beautiful passages and one-liners in this book that I loved. Here is a small sample:

1. "... Or maybe she’s a double-dipper. Or maybe they have freaky threesome sex with snooty hoochies."

2. "It’s cheerleading camp and my fat ankles all over again."

3. “Kiss me like I’m not broken.”

4. An intense, brutally honest and raw admission by Makenna in ch 24. Sorry, no spoilers.

This line nearly sent me over the edge of hysteria as I was laughing so hard.:

5. I’ll probably need vaginal reconstructive surgery after he destroys my guts big.

Here is my #1 favorite line in the book.

#1. “See ya later... Caligator,”

My final thoughts:

As I turned the very last page, I was not at all prepared to say goodbye to these three amazing main characters, Reid, Makenna and Cal, as well as some pretty amazing friends ~Brynn, Ryleigh, Jaxon & Carlos. I was overjoyed and so bloody satisfied to know that love and destiny can and did indeed conquer all. That at the end of a long and winding journey through life and grief, love found its way in and all was right in the world again.

This haunting yet beautiful story is all about hope. Hope for answers to painful pasts, hope for healing, hope for love again, and hope for a future filled with happiness and sharing that happiness with the one person you were destined to be with.

Take my advice when I say don't let Sin With Me pass you by. Read this incredible romance. A ginormous thanks to author Delaney Foster for penning this incredibly riveting, angsty, emotional, suspenseful Five-Star tear-stealer romance that's stuffed with love, heart, healing and all the feels. In my humble opinion, it simply couldn't have been written any better! It was PERFECTION!

Oh and a little book birdie told me that book two in this series, Penance, is this incredible love story all over again in Cal's POV. Omg!!! I'm going to scoop that book up so fast! Let the book hangover commence.

Complete story with no cliffhanger

I went into this story with only reading the blurb. I've never read anything from this author either. So I had no clue what to expect. I thought this was going to be a duet, where there is a cliffhanger at the end of book one and book two picks up where the first left off. That is not what this book gave me.
It is a complete book. Beginning, middle, end, HEA...all of it. So why two books? Well, this is told by the female main character only. We only see what she knows and goes through. I just started book two and that is the male main character's pov.
Sin With Me was a whirlwind of emotions. I smiled and even chuckled a couple of times. I gasp (literally) and teared up. Even shed a couple of those tears, which is very uncommon for me. I was angry and I felt compassion and I felt confused about my emotions to the things that happened. Most of this is not something I experience in a book often. It takes a REALLY good author to bring this out of me. I say author because the story can be awesome, but it's all in the way the author tells it that brings my emotions out.
This book had both a great story and an amazing way of it being told!

This is the first book by Delaney Foster that I've read. It wasn't what I expected and I absolutely couldn't put the book down once I'd started it. What a terrific read! It was full of love, lust and flirtation. Makenna and Reid made a wonderful couple.
But there was a darker undercurrent there too. That had me really curious. Who was the mysterious man in the baseball cap who kept cropping up??? Hmmm...you really do need to read it for yourself to find out...just make sure you have some tissues handy.
Gripping, emotional read.

AMAZING!!! and FANTASTIC!!!! are two words that I would use to describe this story!!!!! I absolutely loved this story reading and finishing the book well after everyone had gone to sleep in my house. I found the story to be a little bit different, believable, and absolutely heart wrenching. I loved so many elements of this story!! I absolutely loved, loved ALL the characters written into the story. I loved that the author was able to keep me captivated and needed to finish this book. I think the author did an amazing job in describing each scene whether it was full of suspense because something bad was going to happen or it was off the charts in the NAUGHTY category!!!!!! The title was another amazing element to this story!!! The author was able to explain in three little words how the main character felt throughout the story!

I found this story to be timeless!!!! Makenna did not think she was being true to her first love. She felt guilty about living her life when he was away. Makenna felt even worse in the following years without him. She was able to forgive him in her heart and start another chapter in her life.

On a lighter note, Makenna had some passionate lovers not to be forgotten by anyone who reads this story. I think I was blushing at times and found several new book boyfriends. LOL.

Brynn was another great character in this story. She was Makenna’s best friend. I found her to be hilarious, with important role in Makenna’s life. Every girl or woman should have a “Brynn” in their corner. Someone who has their back in times of need, brings the wine when needed, and calls your bluff when you are trying to deny your true feelings.

There were also tear worthy times within this story. I loved how Makenna and Reid got tattoos that only made sense when they were together and she changed the tattoo when they weren’t together any longer to make sense to her. I loved Reid’s very last words to her that came with a beautiful little package that became a very important part of this story. I loved that Callisto took care of Makenna even when he was watching her from a distance.

I loved this book. I will keep this book in my kindle library as one of my favorites to read again and again. I think this book should get a glowing 5 stars. I also loved the author’s dedication at the beginning of the book.

Sin with me by Delaney Foster is the first book in what will hopefully be a great series, But more about that later. This is a story about Three people in a relationship. Makenna Taylor and her first love Reid Landry, they are high school sweethearts who think life will end with 2.5 kids and a white picket fence. Then Reid joins the Marine’s and Makenna thinks she will just follow him around the world, as nurses are needed everywhere right.
The tragedy strikes and in a cruel and beautiful twist of fate in a place that keeps cropping up for the wrong reasons and Carllisto comes into the picture, and keeps popping up in the least expected places, he hates his name and prefers Cal as his full name has some bad memories attached, even if it does sound amazing when said in an Italian accent.
Working as a waitress in a Restaurant to cover bills and keep busy while she study’s for her nursing degree, and Reid is away serving his country, Makenna keeps seeing someone she calls Baseball cap. He’s rude and arrogant, and then after telling her boss he’s a creep, she finds out that he’s her bosses son. The boss that has been a farther figure to her during her years waitressing in the restaurant. He’s the son that appears to have a string of women waiting for him, but looks can be deceiving.
While trying to put her life back together Makenna keeps thinking of Baseball Cap and can’t get him out of her head. For the obvious reasons one being that he is totally hot, hot, hot. But so annoying and confusing at the same time. There are also several other complications’. Family drama being one.
But will fate help in the end and will they get their happy ever after? Read the book and find out.
This isn’t something I would normally pick up, but I am so glad I read it. It’s a totally HOT HOT HOT read. That is well worth it. Delaney Foster writes with a passion that meant I read this book in one sitting. It also means I can’t wait to see about the hint that is mentioned at the end of the book, as there is a note about Callistos’s story. That book won’t take long to read if its half as good as this one.

Sin with Me by Delaney Foster is a standalone Erotic novel. It is about Makenna and Reid, high school sweethearts. Makenna had their lives planned out until Reid announced he was joining the Marines, from that day forward life for Makenna would never be the same. Working at a local Italian restaurant she thought it was just a job to help her get through college. She thought she had her fairy-tale with Reid. She thought she had imagined that fateful night at the liquor store and she thought that Cal Suppato was just another man. She thought wrong! Slowly Makenna is introduced into a world of sin.

HOT!! That is definitely one word I would use to describe this book. The prologue is the first thing that will drag you into this story and it just continues to get better the more you read. Be prepared to be on an emotional roller coaster with this story – the author has done an amazing job of having you sobbing one minute and hot under the collar the next. I was hooked on this book and I couldn’t get enough – especially of Cal! Oh my, he’s so dreamy!! I loved the characters in this story – Makenna was particularly brave and a strong, independent character – my heart broke for her and I shed a few tears on a few occasions. Then there’s Reid, such a sweet character and totally in love with Makenna, the things he does for her make him sound like the perfect guy! Oh and there’s Cal – did I mention him?? Hot, dominating and swoon worthy!! Book boyfriend material!
This book definitely has the ability to bring out every emotion you can think of right until the very last page. Did I mention Cal?? (**fans self**)

Now there are some pretty intense sex scenes in this story so it’s definitely only for mature audiences and be warned they are pretty hot!!
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I doubt it will be the last.

I give Sin with Me 5 hot, scorching, sinful stars! (Cal gets 5 stars to himself too!!)

A 5 star emotional rollercoaster!

Sin With Me by Delaney Foster is an amazing and addictive book that will have you begging for more! Sin With Me is about a young college women named Makenna who in the beginning of the book is head over heels in love with her high school sweetheart Reid and the love Reid has for Makenna is undeniable.  When Reid decides to join the Marines Makenna's life starts to change as she is left alone while he is away at boot camp and then overseas. While Reid is away Makenna spends her time going to school woring towards her nurse practitioner license and working at a restaurant. When Makenna's world stops turning she starts to drown in a darkness that no one can help her get out of.....except for the dark, extremely gorgeous basketball hat wearing man that seems to hate her that she runs into at the restaurant she works at. Cal is everything that Makenna thinks she shouldn't want or need but he makes her feel alive for the first time in years, but there is something dark and dangerous about him that he's not telling her.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. I had such a hard time putting it down and was so disappointed when it came to an end. This book had everything you could want in a book; love, happiness, laughter, drama, heartbreak, passion, hot sex scenes, devastation, and pain. A true emotional rollercoaster. I cried multiple times during this book and ended up having to read it while I was alone because I was afraid I would end up crying in public. The author did an amazing job telling this story. The book is written in first person through Makenna's point of view and goes over several years of her life. The book does not end with a cliffhanger but is so well written that you will be begging for more. I give this book 5 stars and can not wait for the next book to come out! I recommend that anyone reading this book be over 18 due to graphic content.

Wowsers... just, WOW

Beautiful
Complex
Deceiving

Undeniably heartbreaking.
Haunting...

I cannot string a cohesive sentence together to describe this phenomenal story adequately!

Most beautiful fact inside here... well it’s that to get where your meant to be, you will be tested, broken, fixed and rewarded.
Sometimes where we think we are happy is just the beginning.

Delaney, I loved it.

FIVE STARS
Makenna is an early 20's woman who is going to nursing school. The first several chapters of book follows Makenna as she is waiting on her boyfriend Reid to return from enlisting with the Marines. Waiting to spend the rest of her life with the man that makes her world go round. We learn that Makenna and Reid are high school sweethearts who have everything going right. Makenna works at a restraunt called Suppato's and loves her customers and co-workers. Her boss is an amazing man who treats his employees as family. During one of Reids leaves from the Marines he is home with Makenna and has a special date planned when everything goes wrong. Brynn and Ryleigh, Makenna's best friend and Reids sister are there for Makenna and to help her through the tough times.
After 2 years Makenna thinks she is ready to find someone else and she tries with a former co-worker Jaxon. Turns out he was just a friend and there was never any spark with him and they both agree to stay only friends.
Cal Suppato, son of Makenna's boss Carlos. Dark, mysterious, gorgeous, and a presence that you just cannot ignore. He seems to be a playboy. Different girl every week. Why can Makenna not get him out of her mind? Every run-in with him is full of confusion and sparks. Attraction that cannot be denied.
Can Makenna break through that tough exterior and find the soft sensual side of Cal? Can Cal make Makenna forget about Reid and move on?
This book is full of lust and some very steamy sex scenes. Passion and pain mixed with pleasure and hurt. Two lost souls looking for someone to love. Where will all of this lead?
Delaney Foster has captured two wonderful characters in this book. I am really looking forward to seeing what they are up to in the next book that she teases about at the end of this.

Sin With Me by Delaney Foster

4.5 stars

Sin With Me by Delaney Foster is a story about overcoming grief, finding oneself, and learning to love someone without fear. She was able to put all of those together and create an amazing plot line full of emotional suspense.

Makenna is a woman who is tested mentally, physically and emotionally throughout the book. She is madly in love with her high school sweetheart Reid; he is the only one she had ever been with and the only one she had ever given her heart to. Her life is turned upside down several times throughout the book, but there is always someone in the shadows to watch her and protect her from pain and darkness.

Cal is successful businessman with a huge ego, but a big heart. As the story unfolds we start to notice how present Cal is in Makenna’s life. Cal wants to protect Makenna and love her, but he also wants to keep her at a distance so she does not find out who he really is. He is a man full of mystery and so many secrets. Delaney Foster did an amazing job developing his character. I wanted to know him and figure out his story just as bad as Makenna wanted to.

“He is stubborn and cocky. He’s privileged but not spoiled. And he lives to please his father. With Cal, there’s so much I don’t know. He keeps so much hidden inside and it drives me crazy.”

Delaney Foster takes her readers on a suspenseful and emotional journey. Throughout the book I found myself crying, laughing and sometimes frustrated. Her writing and descriptive nature is amazing to where I felt like I was there with her characters in each moment feeling and experiencing everything. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to see what she has next for her readers.

Sin with Me by Delaney Foster is a book that I would fully recommend to anyone who likes hot romance and a bit of suspense. This book is a wonderful book that I could not put down and that put me on a roller coaster of emotions. I was laughing, feeling hot at the romance, and crying due to the situations that the characters were being put through. This book really takes you on a journey and Delaney Foster does a really good job of making you feel what the characters are feeling whether it’s Reid finally becoming a Marine (something he’s been wanting to do) after a few years of studying to be a lawyer (which was his fathers’ dream for him), to feeling with and for Makenna when she loses the love of her life. You really feel for Makenna once she loses Reid, she has to let go of that dream that she had of a life together and a “happily ever after”, if you will, with Reid and she has a tough time doing so. She keeps everything he had and leaves it in the very house that they were planning on starting their lives together, not planning on ever falling in love again or even believing that she could. During the years after his death (which I can guarantee is not for reasons you may be suspecting) she finishes school and becomes a nurse doing what she can to help people. Before she finished school and became a nurse, Makenna use to work at a restaurant named Sappatos there was always one guy that she would see and was curious about every time she would see him. It wouldn’t be until later, after Reid died, that she would find out who that mysterious person is and about his story. He plays an important part in the book, and perhaps he becomes important to Makenna as well… but in what way? Well, that’s for you to find out.

Wow! Just WOW!

This is the first book I've read of Delaney Fosters and it won't be my last. I absolutely loved it! I don't often go back and read books but I can honestly say, I just might do that with this one again real soon. It's packed with so much, I will likely notice little things I did not catch the first time around. Love that!

I actually cried during parts of this book. The 'feels' are authentic and so well written they just capture hold of you and don't let go! And I didn't want them to! This is a story about second chances and living your most authentic life. I think anyone can relate to that, I know I certainly can. Life dealt Makenna a savage blow. One she honestly could have decided to never come back from. But she's tough and perseveres through and becomes even stronger for it. She doesn't recover, as I don't believe you ever truly do from such a tragedy, but she finds a way to allow happiness and love back into her heart, no matter how difficult.

Cal Suppato doesn't always make that journey easy, but he gives Makenna just enough of a taste to keep her coming back. The feelings she has with him are unlike any other she's ever experienced and that's saying a lot considering the love of her life Reid Landry were high schools sweethearts.

Can she find light in the darkness that is Cal Suppato and his world? Is this really the way her life was meant to be all along?

This book is part of a duet but can be read as a standalone. There is no cliffhanger and I was left happy but greedy needy for the next installment from Callisto's point of view. I guarantee you will feel the same! A definite must read for anyone!

Fantastic, quality writing not to be missed!
