Kate’s best friends have been claimed as mates, but she’s never felt more alone.
Kate has had enough. She’s sick of getting dirty looks from the clan, sick of being seen as the village weirdo, and sick of existing on this strange planet. Meanwhile, her best friends are getting married and pregnant and settling into their happily ever afters, leaving Kate with too much free time and no one to talk to.
A mysterious male with washboard abs and sparkly blue scales keeps appearing in her dreams, jolting her awake, and she has no idea why.
Kidnapped late one night, Kate finally comes face to face with Niro, her dream guy, and she thinks her problems will soon be solved. If they can break this bewildering curse, they can return to their lives, and hopefully, she’ll get some sleep.
As they embark on a quest for answers about their dream link that takes them all over Oluura, their lives intertwine in ways they never could’ve imagined. Each moment, they are tempted to claw each other’s eyes out while resisting the urge to rip each other’s clothes off.
Can they put their differences aside and break the curse? Or are they destined to crash each other’s dreams for the rest of time?
Stealing His Mate is the third installment in the Aliens of Oluura series, featuring a plus size, 39-year-old woman with a dark sense of humor, who just wants to go to sleep. But a mesmerizing, drool-worthy male with horns and blue skin keeps popping up in her dreams and ruining her REM cycles.
If you like huge, sexy aliens, enemies to lovers, steamy love scenes, and happily ever afters, you'll love this series!
I was looking forward to Kate's story and it didn't disappoint. Plus, I absolutely loved Niro. Who the hell wouldn't want a dragon shifter alien as a mate??!!
I appreciate that these women aren't young, aren't thin, and don't let the guys pull any bullshit. You can be alpha and not be a possessive asshole who doesn't understand boundaries.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I love how Ivy doesn't shy away from really tough topics. I resonated a lot with what Kate had been through in past relationships, and how it colored her experience in the village and with Niro.
And damn, Big Blue. I love a haughty dragon, TBH, and Niro was everything I could have hoped for on that front. Plus it was so fun seeing more of the world Ivy's built, and it got my wheels really turning to see what's next for our crew!
Plus I LOL'd a couple times at the way Kate responded to certain things. Mostly because I think I would have been 100% the same. I can't say here or it'll spoil certain aspects for you, but if you're into two grumpies getting together for scorching relations, pick this book up, STAT.
Ya’ll remember how Kate disappeared in the last book, well we get to find out what happened to her in that time. So, she’s the one that is a tad different, and a lot outspoken, oh and she is always exhausted. We find out that she is exhausted because she is sharing dreams with a dragon shifter, Niro. And he just so happens to be the one that takes her, convinced she is a witch, and wants to break their dream bond. First I want to say that Niro is a sweetheart, arrogant, but sweet, and my heart went out for him. Kate was her same ornery af self, but she did do something that really upset me, and honestly I really just couldn’t get over it, it really made me disappointed in Kate. Probably because my heart really went out to Niro and his past…so I guess you could say I am Team Niro, sorry Kate, but Team Niro all the way. I did really like this book, and I flove the series. We find out so much about these two, and their past, and a lot more about Kate that really fills in the blanks.
Safe read, with a sweet and arrogant dragon shifter, and his stubborn sassy mate. It always warms my heart when someone thinks they can never have a mate..and then they find out they do have one, makes me happy. Having a mate should be something to be grateful and celebrated. Epilogue, and hea.
I have been waiting with eager anticipation for this book ever since reading the first book in the series! Alien romance is my new favorite thing, so when I saw that we'd eventually get an alien dragon shifter romance, I was over the moon with happiness. This story gives us all sorts of fun tropes, like forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and fated mates. If you love romance with angst, a sassy heroine, and a grumpy hero, this is the book for you!
All Kate wants is a good night's sleep. Ever since she saw the dragon in the woods, she has been plagued by dreams of a handsome blue alien with horns, and not all of them are pleasant. She just wants out of his head, and she wants him out of hers as well. With most of the villagers looking at her with suspicion, first as if she's crazy for thinking she saw a dragon and then later for wondering why survived the encounter, she has had it with living with aliens. Her friends are getting married, having alien babies, and all she wants is some peace and quiet. When she escapes from the stares by going to her favorite spot in the woods one late night, she is kidnapped by the very being haunting her dreams. Turns out he is just as tired as she is, except he thinks she's a witch who has cast a spell on him. Too bad she isn't a witch or she might be tempted to turn him into a toad. Instead, they set off to determine why they are connected in their dreams...and the answer isn't what either of them expects. Now they have to decide if they're willing to accept living with the curse that's upon them...or break it and be separated forever.
Kate was such a fiery woman, holding her own against those who would look down on her and overcoming a past that would send most of us into singlehood forever. She has no interest in men whatsoever after her marriage with an abusive husband, who made her feel terrible about herself and made sex feel degrading rather than the joyful experience it should be. The last thing she wants is a man, so why won't the one in her dreams just go away and leave her be? I loved the bickering between her and Niro, the sexy dragon shifter she loves to hate and who hates her back. Funnily enough, the line between love and hate is quite thin, and it's not long before they begin to see the benefits of giving in to the chemistry between them. Niro, while a grumpy hero who wants no mate, is actually very sweet on the inside, very protective of Kate. While at times the protectiveness reminds her of her ex-husband, he takes into consideration Kate's feelings and makes it more about her comfort rather than his own. I loved that about him. A heroine who has experienced trauma can be really difficult to write, but Ivy Knox did an amazing job making her realistic and relatable. I felt so connected to Kate, even though I have never experienced what she had, and I appreciated that the romance wasn't easily wrapped up in a neat bow. It took time and effort, but in the end, it was all worth it.
I love Ivy Knox's writing so much and highly recommend this entire series! Each pairing is so unique and loveable, and I am excited to see what she writes next.
**I received a free copy from the author and this is my honest review.**
I thought the first book was fantastic, this is one is superb. There’s a range of different emotions from the main characters aswell as those from previous books. What starts as an abduction turns into much more, things don’t go easy for Kate and Niro and there are bought of jealousy and a couple of arguments but also passion, steamy scenes and love with a plot twist or two to make things even more interesting. If you haven’t read the first two books then you are missing out. This is a fantastic series and I cannot wait to see where Ivy Knox takes us for the rest.
Kate was abducted from earth, now she’s on a different planet with her two friends who were taken too. She doesn’t really fit in with the clan and when she tells them she saw a dragon they kind of shun her further which leaves her feeling lonely. When the dragon in question abducts her from the village she’s furious. Niro thinks she is a witch and has done something to make them share each other’s dreams. When she tells him she hasn’t he assumes it was his sister and they go to find out. Alu says she has no idea and directs them to their brothers home. It’s then that we see more insight to the Draxilio and Niro’s family. When Niro finds out that they shared dreams are a mating signal that they discover a way to break the link. Kate can’t go through with it but at a party for her birthday Niro’s jealousy makes Kate make a snap decision and breaks the link. This leads to them both being heartbroken and Niro’s family make Niro see what went wrong and he goes to Kate to prove that he is not like her violent ex husband. Although they both get a few surprises when he does.

🔥 “I am not worthy of your love, I know this. But I will spend the rest of my time trying to make you smile. I will keep you safe while respecting your boundaries. I will be what you need, not what I think you need. I promise you, I will.” ~~~ I loved Kate. I loved her wit, her strength, bravery and curiosity. After everything she’s been through on Earth, she’s still one amazing woman. I loved her fire when she was defending herself and the people she cares about.
And Niro is the only male for her. He’s fiercely protective, mysterious and confident. And he’s not one to trust easily. I loved everything about him.
I adored the development of their relationship. I loved the banter, the teasing and the dream sharing. They had their ups and downs but they were so great together and the passion they shared was scorching hot! And I loved how they pushed each other to grow and to be better. Kate and Niro were absolutely a perfect match and more than deserved to find love and happiness with each other.
In addition I loved Niro’s siblings. All the draxilios with their genetic modifications were quite fascinating and I hope we get to learn more about them in future stories.
Overall, the story is another magnificent addition to the series. It’s filled with mysteries, danger, drama, adventure, steamy romance and wonderful characters.

Kate has dreams with another man. She has managed to share dreams and memories with him, and finally he has enough and kidnaps her. But the journey they take to figure out what is happening won't be easy, and there will be decisions that will change everything.
I loved the plot of this book. Two people who are mates brought together by a dream link is such a unique idea. Niro is a little quirky, but given his species, it's endearing how he acts to situations. I love how his character evolved over the book to become sweet and caring toward Kate. The author is a fantastic writer who can bring these worlds to life while giving us a unique story.
Im going to go on a rant here.. I hated Kate's character. I know she dealt with a lot with her ex husband, and she got out of a bad situation, but this woman was insanely selfish when it came to Niro. The ending made me mad, because it could've ended so much better, but Kate made a choice without Niro and I couldn't stand that. She went on her own emotions and didn't think about anything other than how she felt. She didn't even ask him how he viewed things, and assumed everything was to the mate signal. I wish the author would have wrote her a little different so that she meshed with Niro better.
That being said, this shows how incredible the author is with their writing. They provoked some very strong emotions and that in my opinion is a sign of a great author.
This is the third book in the series, and is the story of the final one in our trio of humans, Kate, and the mysterious dragon man she met! Both Kate and Niro have had traumatic pasts, and this is a story of trying to overcome that and move on into a better future.
This was a good read, and I enjoyed finally getting to meet the dragonish alien… although I didn’t really care for the heavy handed political message at the beginning of the book!
Kate wasn’t the most likeable of heroines, she was a bit brash and rash when it came to making decisions. She was definitely acting in a way consistent with her past trauma though, so it mostly made sense. She also did make some effort towards the end, though I felt that Niro seemed to try a little harder.
While it was an enjoyable story, and it was good to see some answers to questions posed in other books, I actually enjoyed Niro’s family the most when it came to characters. Where Kate was a little annoying, Niro’s family were charmingly quirky- I’m kind of hoping we see more of them!
I managed to join this series on book 3, but I was still able to pick up the story very quickly and easily. Three earth women were taken from earth and made it to an alien world where two managed to integrate easily and found their mates, but Kate was damaged emotionally from her marriage to an abusive husband. Kate kept dreaming about things and people she had no idea who they were. But there was one person who she seems to be linked to in her dreams. Niro is a dragon shifter and he needs to find Kate so he can break the dream link with her. But they soon discovered that they are mates and Kate is a witch. Kate and Niro start a journey to do this, but discovered they have feelings for each other, but it’s never easy for them. Will they manage to work things out? You will have to buy this book to find out their story. You can’t help but fall in love with them both.

This was my first time reading this author, after winning a signed copy of this book. I know this is Book 3 of the series, but I decided to read it anyway, and I just loved it. Now, I must go back to read books 1 and 2.
Kate, the main female character hS been through a very traumatic past on earth. But she is a survivor and resilient. I loved her tough character. She comes across as inflexible, but she has trust issues and those influence all of her decisions.
She meets Niro for the first time, when he steals her away. But she has seen him before, in her dreams. So together, they search for answers about their connection. Their story does have an HEA, but itis bittersweetwith all their differences, and the obstacles they will need to overcome.
Kate has always been the one who has seemed to be different to the other ladies in this series, being more reserved and not engaging with the aliens. However, in the other books, there is a reference to a dragon-like being that Kate claims to have seen. This claim is viewed with scepticism by the clan and causes a bit more of a rift between Kate and the others. Nobody can understand what is going on. This book fills in the missing pieces of the puzzle with some quite surprising information. As with the previous books in the series, I found this book to be an enjoyable read.
As with the previous book in the series, and perhaps even more so with this one, it is better to read the other books first so that you then get more out of reading this one.
Kate is a survivor of domestic abuse. She guards her heart from allowing anyone in. Niro is a dragon shifter that was used as a lab-rat on his home planet. He was never to find a mate, among other things, to make him a strong warrior. When they find themselves in each others dreams , they look for a way to break that bond. Then they actually break their bond, but it's to late, they're not only fated mates but they fell in love as well. This book had plenty of adventure, dangers, and steamy romance. I read this book in one day refusing to put it down for very long.

SPOILER ALERT I really love the fact that they get to fall in love twice. One of my chief co plains about PNR is that once they hook up there’s no where else to go and it always happens too quickly. The solution is to be attracted to each other then have a crisis of faith and have to get back to that point. So much better. The pacing was perfect and I think Kate is such a memorable, quirky character., as are they all, so there are strong individual identities who are each true to their function in the story. I really like this one. Don’t know how you would duplicate it but I want another!!!
Love it! Kate and Niro take you on an intriguing adventure to break a curse and figure out the connection they have through their dream. I loved the push and pull of this relationship as it builds and the world and characters that surround Niro and Kate. You will love this alien romance that will keep turning pages and biting your nail to see if these two give in to the hot chemistry they create together. You will love it!

Kate and Niro are my favorite couple of this series so far and I can't wait for the next book to see where the author goes with it. There are so many possibilities. The struggles they have are real-life problems and PTSD is hard to come back from. I suffer from PTSD and I felt this was very well written book that portrays the strong emotions that come with it. If you're looking for a book that can take you on an emotional roller coaster with humor on the side, this is a great book to read.

I was actually kind of nervous that I was going to dislike Kate because the first two books didn’t paint her in a friendly light but reading her inner thoughts and previous experiences really helped me understand her.
I loved the sort-of-enemies to lovers feel this gave me. The snarky banter and tension between Kate and Niro was really fun to read! It was also super interesting to learn about his siblings and more of the world outside Oluura.
This was probably my favourite out of all of them yet!
I hadn’t read the other two books in this series even though I bought book 1 but I can catch up with them later. This story is about Kate she and her friends landed on Oluura 3 months ago now she can’t sleep because she dreams about a man she knows that he is real Kate just can’t get him out of her head but it only gets worse when he kidnaps her. Fantastic sci-fi romance I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.
This is a well written HEA with no cheating. It seems to be the first book in a series as it hints to another at the end. However it can be read on its own. It has some mystery, action, and a lot of different characters that will catch your attention. It is well worth the read. I am looking forward and will be waiting for the next book in this series.

loved it !! love this series !!! love Kate and Niro... this is their story...a fast paced action packed drama... all Kate wants is a good night sleep, now, is that too much to ask for ? it seems so... she gets kidnapped by the guy in her dreams... and he thinks she's a witch that has enchanted him... can it get any worse ? the banter, the fighting, the sparks... yeah, it's there... a good story...

The third book in the Aliens of Oluura series a well written sci-fi story that held my interest throughout. Kate and Niro will have a lot to overcome to get their happy ending. This is a new author to me. I now want to read the first two books. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Niro and Kate. Sigh. They had to work for that happiness! So many great firsts in this story, and I loved every minute, well, except towards the end when I was sobbing like a broken-hearted child! Wow. This one was just the right amount of touching, fun, tragic, and steamy! Thank you, Ivy! On to the next in the series! Loving it so much!
Of all the truly wonderful characters in this series, Kate has become my favourite. She’s loud, abrasive, not afraid to stand up for what’s right. Her mate, Niro, stands out as well. There’s possession rather than partners and they both make missteps. The ending is outstanding!
This is an excellent sci-fi romance/romantic comedy.. I really liked it! It has a unique and fun flavor, while still having emotion and a steamy/sweet romance..

All of the books in this series have been wonderful, but something about Kate has always tugged at my heart. When the finally finds her dream man she starts to settle. This story was completely awesome.
