The title is the reason I chose this book. How can you resist a book that has an expletive in the title?
Author Brett Moran is a former drug addict and dealer who discovered meditation and turned his life around. Look at him now; he has a book.
WTFU is a book about taming the monkey mind and learning to live. Moran discusses his breakthroughs and how he came to realize his worth. He includes exercises and examples meant to help others.
As a former addict, he’s reached the low points in life. Finally, he got a wake-up call. A Judge sent Moran to Jail for his drug abuse and other charges. Moran found a book on mindfulness in the Prison Library and turned his life around.
I enjoyed the book because Moran uses a familiar tone. It’s almost like he’s talking to you in a local pub. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.
