The Canadian Prairies are a land of endless skies, wild weather extremes, and endemic human trafficking. Saskatchewan high schooler Clint Carpentier takes matters into his own hands when the RCMP drops the ball on investigating the abduction of his native girlfriend. A shocking betrayal and bloodbath leaves Clint fleeing the West for the East, with a bloodthirsty pack of traffickers hot on his tail. His ordeal will end the same as it in a hail of lead.
"Bloody Prairie" is a fast paced, well written, action thriller. This story is based in Canada, and the author has a interesting way of describing the Canadian countrysides and cities in which the plot unravels. This book may not be for the faint of heart, but if you're looking for an excite read, this is it!
I really enjoyed this book I liked the little twists and turns on clints journey. I felt sorry for the guy with all his luck of finding trouble everywhere he went. This book kept me interested I would recommend it to anyone. Great read
It was hard to follow, and I found the story hard to get into. While I 'm normally one who enjoys when the story changes points of view, there was little harmony in the changes and it was often difficult to understand that the a change had occurred.
This is not a genre that I usually read but I was pleasantly surprised with ‘Bloody Prairie.’ Ryan Fleming is a convincing writer who uses a lot of detail describing events and making you feel like your there in the action! I think this book would make a great movie. And the love between Clint and Megan through all they went through was perfect!
