The 20 Minute Series continues as several characters get their day in court...
After the dramatic events of the wedding day, things get serious for various characters as they either look to defend themselves or help put somebody else behind bars.
The prosecution. The defence. The judge. The jury. And the accused.
On a busy day for the justice system, only one thing matters:

Once again a few unexpected twists and turns in the name of justice or so it seems. Inervertable that most people in the dock lie. Despite swearing in on the bible. However for someone to tell the truth I would think is a rare exception. But you just never know how some people will react in court. Some things you just couldn't make up or could you. Only way to find out is to read the books. If you do not read in sequence you will miss quite lot to understand this particular book. You really must read the series it's a addictive series extremely recommend
Hot on the tail of "20 Minutes Before the Wedding", this one picks up pretty much where events in the last one left one, albeit some two months later. The setting this time was court and all those involved were in several courtrooms either giving evidence, as a juror, a court reporter, the judge or even the defendant, as the case was in several of them.
Jelena and Bogdan sit in the courtroom to witness the trial of Diego after his crimes were unveiled after last book, along with Lindsey, the woman he was going to marry.
Paula, April and Will sit in on the case against Valentin, but he surprises them all with a statement of his own.
Carol is sitting in on the case against Mick who was driving the lorry that ploughed into several cars on the motorway several months ago when he fell asleep at the wheel.
Shane is sitting in the public gallery of the coroner's inquest into events after he and his friend Gaz were arrested for throwing bricks on the motorway.
Louise is also sitting in on preceedings as she was caught up in the events that day too.
Damian is about to give evidence against his uncle Ronnie and his right hand man Bulldog, but events come to an abrupt halt all too soon.
Harry is on a school excursion to learn about the justice system and that actions always have consequences and the justice system is the result. But a meeting with bad boy Shane in the gents puts a bad taste in his mouth yet leaves him feeling sorry for the lad.
Jamal is in court to answer the charges against him in the terrorist attack in Battersea Park on bonfire night the year before, and he doesn't care what is said about him. Only that the world knows his name and why he is doing this.
There are others playing their part in the system but nothing prepares the reader for the shock ending. Now I need to dive into the next one! And I devoured this one immediately after the previous one, reading both in one day.
I am so addicted to this series! Daniel Hurst is obviously a very intelligent man, who seems to have his facts right in his fictional books, and plenty of knowledge of what he's writing about. But he's such an 'easy read', and doesn't do flowery writing. My husband isn't much of a reader, but I've got him reading book one! Daniel has a vast array of characters, all of who can be related to, even though it's set in London, and I'm a northerner! He is so clever, the way he's tied all these characters together. He must have amazing foresight, and thought everything out, well before he puts his fingers on the keyboard. Although there are lots of people to get to know in this series, Daniel makes sure that we don't get confused, as he back tracks a little bit, with each character, not enough to be boring, but just enough to jog our memories. I'll miss this series when it's done, I'll be bereft! I have a regret, because when I posted a review on the first book of the series, I didn't do it justice! Well done Daniel, and thank you! I have already read a couple of your stand alone books, and will be sure to read every word that ever write. 👍😊
Another brilliant read in the 20 Minutes series and as usual all the characters stories end on a cliff hanger leaving you wanting more and wondering happens to them next. Some new characters have appeared in this book and some are no longer with us from the previous one. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series and recommend you give them a go. They written a different way to most other books and that helps to make them more entertaining.
I really enjoyed 20 Minutes In Court book 15 by Daniel Hurst series of interconnected short stories. Events take place two months after 20 Minutes Before The Wedding.
Our characters good and bad are up against it as they face a judge, jury and the victim's relatives in court.
Que Sera, Sera (Whatever will be will be.) All will be revealed in Daniel's next book, 20 Minutes Behind Bars book 16.
The '20 minutes' series is like nothing else I have read...and once again we have been left on a cliffhanger! I love how do many individual stories have been woven into the whole. Yes that so many of the characters are in court at the same time, but this is fun fiction, although dealing with real, serious current issues. Really enjoyed it,easy read too.
A bit anticlimactic with this book. A lot has been set up and agin there isn't much follow through. The action is completely lacking and some chapters are mostly recounts like the author is trying to meet his word count... I don't need to know the entire characters backstory if I have read multiple books about it already uhhhh
Now being the third book I read, it was a nice read. The issue I had was the constant repetition from the author reminding us of what the characters did. This novella was less than 167 pages and too short to be reminded as often as we were. 20 minutes in this particular criminal court was unrealistic, but then again it's a fiction novella.
The 20 Minute Series is very difficult to put down. Each character has a story to tell and all the stories are seamlessly interconnected. This is another chapter in a cleverly constructed thriller
15th book in the 20-minute Hurst series finds 3 different courts In session in a London courthouse - our 20 characters, some returning and others new, involved in these cases and the ending will have you ready to move onto the next book - I know I am!
We now move into the court room where many of our familiar characters stand trial for the various offences they are alleged to have committed. Some hide the truth and some are too honest. The addiction continues.
Another excellent instalment following the lives of the people we have invested so much time with. Can't wait for the next one in the series - highly recommended.
Another fantastic read.the characters evolve with every chapter utterly brilliant.each character has depth you understand as the books continue fantastic reading
Now I've read book fifteen, I really don't want this series to end. Now I have only five books left to read. After the dramatic events that took place at the wedding, it's time for them to have their day in court. Some characters acted out of character by something they did. There were twists and turns all over the place. All the stories end on a cliffhanger. But Bogdan, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!
Book 15 of 20 I can't even with this one. Numerous trials were going on and it was a mix of Night Court to Law & Order.
Bogdan and Jelena- Sadness... He loves her sooo much Jamal- Death Sentence???? Mick- So sad, my heart breaks for him Carol- Good looking out sis, she said what others were failing to see Shane- Can someone slap that little shit? He is super immature, selfish, and doesn't get it Harry- Bless your heart Damian- Sucks to be you Valentin- You smug mother fker smh... Diego- Scum
Up next is Prison Break. Let's see how everyone's doing in and outside of bars.
