A miracle fix gone wrong. A world collapsing in on itself. A woman who will stop at nothing to ensure her family's survival.
Tired of the usual post-apocalyptic story? Welcome to your new addiction.
As insect populations rapidly dwindle, a new miracle cure - Buzz - is proposed to help pollinate plants and increase food production around the globe.

Unfortunately, the debilitating side effects of the fix are discovered far too late, as worldwide geophysical disasters are unleashed, causing widespread death and destruction.

While the creators of Buzz attempt to flee from the destruction and save themselves, a mother and her children are caught up in the disaster and forced to fight for their lives. Meanwhile, a farmer with insider knowledge of the disaster must choose between his personal survival and helping share knowledge that may be critical to stopping the final collapse.

From the #1 best-selling post-apocalyptic author Mike Kraus, writing with KD Downs, comes a terrifying post-apocalyptic survival thriller tale that's guaranteed to keep you up at night.

Final Collapse is a 6-book post-apocalyptic survival thriller series.

Final Collapse Book 1

I’m enjoying this new series. I haven’t read a survival book on sink holes before. The characters are good. I can’t wait to see what happens to Ed, if Annie and the girls can get away before where they are sinks, Xavier is there to help them. Will Ben get off the hill?

I'm one of those people who needs someone to cheer for, someone to hope they survive. This book has absolutely no one that fits that category. Buzz, the cause of the disaster, is murky with respect to the science behind why this collapse would happen. Ben is in the midst of the apocalyptic collapse, but his main goal is to find an ATM to cash his check. He has a difficult, dysfunctional family, but hides from his brother, the death of that brother's daughter and ends up in a death struggle with his sibling. Ed is utterly despicable. Probably responsible for the disaster via his role with Buzz. he is laser-focused on getting to some interview in New York. In pursuit of that goal, terrorizes his family, ignores his sick child, cause a fatal shootout, kidnaps a nun and sick priests (leaving one poor man at the side of the road when he needed treatment), commandeers an RV and then abandons his family. Wife Anne is hopeless, mostly along for the ride (and kills several people). I initially had some hope for Xavier who seemed concerned about Anne and her children. Nope, he murders people to get their bees. The nun is the oddest nun I have ever heard of and doesn't bail when she could have on a number of occasions. There is not even a plucky dog prominent enough to cheer for and the rapid foxes don't cut it. No chance I will continue with this mess.

Not worth it

The story could have been fun, but it was poorly written. I had to read the first chapter three times simply to get a sense of who, how, what, when, and where. There was no connectivity or cohesion, just rambling. Very hard to read and lots of just senseless killing. Disappointing, Mr Kraus. I won't bother with book 2, because I could care less about what happens to the characters.

What would you do if your life depended on it? All but one of the major adult characters lose their veneer of civilization. The plot is a new idea, worthy of a young Steven King. Then it just gets crazy, in more ways than one. There are too many action points for me and not enough down time to absorb the roller coaster of events.

An amazing apocalyptic story. Definitely not your usual. This time insects are dying and a special program is implemented. Is it possible that it works or creates more problems and danger. Ready for the next one.

Pick up your knapsack, and put on your walking shoes!

lots of unsavory characters make this 1st installment the trip from hell...
hang in there, I'm sure the next installment will pick up quickly, and give you a
run for your money?!

Great 1st book in a different type of end time story.

Buzz is supposed to save the world but what is happening all over tells a different story. How many are dying all over from this product and what is causing the disappearance of land and people dying everywhere?

GOOD GRIEF!

This one made me want to cheer, laugh, and throw up in no particular order. It was hilarious and horrifying at the same time, and I couldn’t put it down.

Interesting

I had no idea when I chose this book that it was a comedy. It is. And a really good one. I haven't laughed this much in a long time.
