Ain’t nobody got time for that. There are enough characters to rival the size of the Game of Thrones cast. Look out George RR Martin cause Smauggy has lost her mind! It’s a complete and total mindf*ck. You won’t know what’s going on for a number of chapters until the realization slaps you in the face like an overdraft fee right before payday.Top 3 Reasons to Crack This Horror Show OpenYou’re a glutton for punishment. You must truly be a fan of Smauggy’s chaotic world! Have you considered therapy? You’re a bit of a freak. Don’t be ashamed. Embrace it like you've embraced these insane characters and the author who created them. You actually want to know how this entire Saga wraps up. Well… that’s unfortunate...***AUTHOR CONTENT DEATH DO US PART series includes all the main characters of the Marvelous 3 Saga including, the Sons of the Elite, the NOLA Witches, and the Anarchists. The story follows our 3 main female protagonists with 3 individual storylines that merge into one epic and chaotic plot. You will not understand this book if you have not read the other books in the Saga. You will not like this book if you do not like Smauggy's style of scene-by-scene writing and multiple POVs. You will not like this book if you prefer single storyline novels with few characters to follow. This book contains sensitive topics such as domestic violence and murder.I couldn't possibly give you any more disclaimers. THIS IS A THRILLER.
I cleared my personal life and read this entire series and it was well worth it! Willingly, I admit it took some research to get the reading order down, once I did... awesomeness. The fact that Smauggy devoted so much passion to Black Girl Magic and how well appreciated, loved and worshipped the females were, was breathtaking. There were parts that I loved and others not as much. The character development for ALL was phenomenal (chef's kiss)! Tiana, Kiara and Gabby have the kinda men any woman would want to have in there lives. They were loving, open hearted, protective and proud of there SO! I urge all readers of PNR to delve into this world were all things are possible and love wins and rules! This genre is not one often explored with black women and I have no idea why not, because it worked! Here's hoping that there will be a spin-off series because I have some questions that must be answered! Thank you Smauggy for a fantastic journey into self-love😀 😉
It was nice that I could finally finish this book which started on Wattpad. Love how Smauggy introduced new characters with their own on-going stories to discover. Big fan of IR Reverse Harem stories, and this author seems to do it the best. Love how she turns enemies into friends or just alliances for the love of their women. Also it’s great to read heroines that Black women can relate too. The 3 main heroines depicting 3 clearly different strong, positive, empathetic personalities. I class Smauggy with Pepper Pace, Sienna Minx, and a few others. Smauggy’s Universe of stories are a great way to relax during Christmas break.
I have read all 10 books. Damn I am good! (LOL) I’m loving this reverse stories and they all interracial. Yeah!!! Ms Smauggy is awesome she rocks. It has witches hybrids vampires werewolves mortals and let’s not forget oracle. The best part is how do you destroy the world or save it? Let’s read the series and find out. YOU SHOULD DO THAT!!!!! It is a wonderful awesome read. Definitely worth the read. I love the whole series, when you read last book in the series go beyond end. There is another chapter possible new book about the kids. Keeping my fingers cross.
The journey has been long. Smauggy, I am so proud of you and these books. I just finish this book after reading the entire Marvelous 3 saga, and I have to say, you have killed the game, and not enough people know it. But with art like this, part of doesn't want others to know. I do feel as though I don't know what's going to happen to Rosylen, and having the blood to reverse immortality, and what wolves and vampires will do. However, I do feel as though it is only right to finally end the chapter on everyone's lives. This was great experience, and thank you Smauggy!
I loved every book of the Marvelous Three. Every book was great and now I'm waiting for whatever comes next. I stayed up all night reading this book. I'm neo sad this series came to an end but damn, what an end. I cannot wait for what is next. I need more. I am not going to spoil this by giving anything away. What I am going to do is recommend this author, this series, and anything else by her. I'm a fan, but don't take my word, read this for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
What a page turner omg , I mean so happy I across this author I love the black girl magic and I’m such a nerd I love all the superhero’s reference . It’s nice to read story where characters are relatable besides three Hoyt husbands lol . I can’t wait to see these characters hopefully make appearances in future books and I can’t wait to see what the second generation has in store the whole saga is a must read
The way the story ended was fantastic. Like seriously. The twist and turns in this final book broke my heart and mended it back together. And the next generation is about to have me damn near ready to have a heart attack. I love your work and look forward to how this universe continues to expand.
Very interesting, I loved the thorough showing of the healing process from the aftermath. Everything was thoroughly explained and well put together, this was a wonderful journey and I'm glad I got to experience these characters and their stories. I think more death would have been a bit more fitting tho, but that's just me, lol.
I enjoyed this tale much more than the reckoning. The action and overall story moved faster and wasn’t so muddled down with sex scenes. I love the author’s use of mythology including the horsemen and al things apocalypse. The story settled in a way to end the saga but also continue it with the same characters. I am glad for closure for the characters. Overall a good read.
You are taken on a journey that will blow your mind this world be an awesome film of given the chance to be made but book but all Smauggy books you will not be disappointed with the adventure she will take you on awesome.
This epic series was truly one of the most interesting story I have read. I loved how interconnected these smaller series were and how the men absolutely were obsessed with their woman.
You can't leave me hanging like this!! I need more of the Marvelous 3 and their men and children, and friends/extended family!! But I see how new characters are comic (I hope) and see now how Rosslyn fit in other books!! I'm just in awe of your work!!
This is book 2 of The Death Do Us Part arc but book 11 of the 11 book Marvelous Three Saga. (NOTE: In previous reviews I incorrectly said there were 12 books in the series.) This book ends the threat and deals with the aftermath of the events on all the characters. All secretas are revealed to everyone. There is also a short flashpoint into the future when the children are all young adults.
Pro: The three women lead the charge in fixing the problem and grow in their abilities. Smauggy does an excellent job of dealing with the trauma caused by men’s actions. (It turns out other Marvelous Three” are the MFCs of each arc.) The author doesn’t gloss over the mental and emotional toll it would have on both the perpetrators and the recipients.
Con: Smauggy continues to struggle with defining character point of view changes, as well as scene changes. There are other discontinuity issues such as time distortion, forgotten details, etc. And finally, Smauggy has many moments where characters’ actions or plot points are illogical; it is a reflection the immaturity/ inexperience of the author IMO. (Why would a pharmaceutical company and real estate conglomerate have a “Chief Weapons Officer”?)
Note: I struggled to find a reading order but I think it is Damaged > Stuck in the Middle > Man's Weakness > Family Ties > 4Play > Hackers with(out) Remorse > Rise of the Phoenix > Untamed > Rogue Gone RaVage > The Unsettling > The Reckoning
