I’m excited to put these ideas to work in my classroom. I’m fascinated by brain research and I’m always telling my students that our brains love color. Let’s see if Color Writing will help my students become strong, confident writers.

The actual color writing strategy is pretty interesting and engaging. I did it with my first graders. Works well but doesn't really teach writing with adjectives and descriptions (spicy sentences).
