The mission was simple: Rescue the kids. Evade capture.

This was a good book. I’m thinking the kidnapping was a ploy to get their attention at least hoping it was. But not sure they had the right to ask for so much when they caused so much harm. But the threat affected everyone. Now there seems to be a bigger plot in the works no one saw coming.

I don't read a lot of fantasy but when I read the blurb for this one I thought I would give it a shot.
I went in with pretty standard expectations and the book went another way, which was pleasantly unexpected. Im looking forward to the next book

this was a great start to an elves series, it was what I wanted in a elf book. The characters were wonderfully done and I enjoyed getting to know them. The plot was great and worked perfectly, I look forward to more in this universe.

It was a good read, you will have to read it to guess the plot. Was an interesting story. Not what I expected but engaging.

This is the first book I've read by this author. It is the first in the series and left me wanting to read more to find out what happens. I will definitely be getting the next book.
