Evelyn Boyett grew up on a farm outside Topeka, Kansas. Evelyn spent most of her youth climbing trees, riding horses, swimming and fishing in her daddy's pond.

When Evelyn wasn't reveling in the great outdoors she enjoyed watching Black Spurs and Gunfight at Comanche Creek at her grandmother's house.

Evelyn married her childhood sweetheart Spencer Boyett right out of high school. After majoring in English Lit at the University of Chicago, Evelyn came back home to Kansas and had two adorable children.

Evelyn enjoys sitting in a lawn chair with a glass of peach tea, penning her latest novel while her boys play rousing games of Cowboys and Indians.

She currently lives outside of Lenexa, Kansas and still enjoys watching old Deforest Kelley films in her spare time.

All of these stories are comprised of mail-order brides and men looking to improve their lot in life for one reason or another. The couples get more than they bargained for when meeting one another. They did not figure there would be so many problems attempting to getting to know one another and having to be a married couple. Some will involve children…but you can always be assured there is trouble on the horizon for them…sometimes a life and death one! The boxset contains some laughter and people falling in love with someone they never thought would happen~ It also contains plenty of action to keep you interested.

I started this 6 book series with a "ho hum" attitude but quickly became enthralled in the lives of the people in the stories. These books are from a different perspective than most of the other Mail Order Bride books I have read and although I would have liked to have been the proofreader on occasion I was soon deep into the stories. If you want a good read I recommend that you give these books a go.

This is a six book collection of clean western historical romance stories These are very good stories and each is very good as standalone books The characters are determined and courageous and emotional at times The extended epilogue completes each story with a good and happy ending This is a coll is enjoyable

I loved these books. I could hardly put them down. They were adventurous exciting and romantic. The men were hero’s . They were strong and courageous.
