Wonderful study guide

I used this guide to complement my study of The Old Testament this year, and it was fantastic! The variety of commentary was great, with historical details as well as gospel connections. It's my second study guide from this series (The Book of Mormon one was also great), and I highly recommend these commentaries to everyone looking to deepen their understanding of the scriptures.

So much. The OT is so much of the people being told-repeatedly-how to do life better. Do they listen? Hardly. Do they follow? Rarely. This is a good resource to use along with the study of these scriptures.

This is a nice book to help with a study of the Old Testament. Quotes, thoughts, and stories are presented in a parallel column manner next to the actual verses. The citation index is extensive for additional reading. I really enjoyed some of the stories that were shared.

One of the best study guides to understanding the Old Testament! Great information to help one know what the writers were recording and how it can apply to us today.

Used it as a reference for Old Testament studies. I didn't read everything, but what I did read was very helpful and insightful.
