I learned something new and useful on every single page! I'm new to the education world so I suppose veteran teachers would know some of these things already, but the advice presented was so solid and fresh! I just started up the school year as a Substitute teacher and I've been implementing the skills listed in this book and they're WORKING! The authors clearly have experience and draw from it as well as modern data to give you the best tools to help your students succeed, which is ultimately the goal of a teacher. So grateful for this book!

Didn't completely finish this textbook, but read a good portion of it this semester. I have access to it still in my bookshelf library and would highly recommend reading it again. Very good for tackling how to work with parents, how to set up a classroom to avoid behavioral issues, and how to tackle behavioral issues when you inevitably have them.
