It’s my first week as an official student at Kensington School, and things couldn’t be more chaotic. I’m living in a hotel, trying to recover from the news of my parents’ move to London, and working to make things right with Harry, Noah, and Mohammad.
Mohammad says I’m back in the boys’ club.
Harry tells me that he wants me back in his life.
And Noah, well, he’s always been complicated.
But after a too-generous gift from Harry and a heated moment with Noah on my birthday, things seem to change. Noah is flirting with me again and Harry shows me he’s serious about us being friends when he asks me to be his date to his parents’ party.
Everything feels like it’s back to normal—until the party.
Because Mohammad somehow ends up with two dates.
Harry asks me to pretend to be his girlfriend for the night.
And Noah tells me he likes me. A lot.
In the midst of meeting Harry’s parents and helping Mohammad navigate a potential disaster with Naomi, Noah says that I need to show him how I feel. But what he’s really asking for is for me to make a choice.

Fantastic, fun, and oh so satisfying, The Party really hit the spot. I'm so addicted to these books and intrigued by the characters. Mallory, Noah, Harry, and Mohammed have all stolen my heart.
Mallory has been dealing with a ton of whirlwind changes in her life. From the big move, to gearing up to reunite with her parents, it's been a lot. And now she's dealing with Noah... and Harry. Harry needs her more than ever due to some family issues he has going on. Mallory is the best friend she can be to him without crossing a line. Then there is my boy Noah. He surprised me in the best way possible in this book. Sigh.
I am still 100% team Noah, but that doesn't mean I don't adore Harry too. Although to be honest, Mohammed is one of my favorite characters of the book. He is truly the best friend to Mallory and such a hoot. I get so much joy any time he's on the page.
This was another unputdownable installment of Dodd's 'London Prep' series. I loved catching up with the gang, and I can't wait to see what happens next!
"Love is abundant. I won't deny that. Connections are too. But us? It's different than that, isn't it? It's... more. A lot more."
Mallory is now living in a hotel as she awaits the arrival of her parents and the move to their new permanent home. Harry has invited them all to a party his parents are having and being the supportive friends they are, Noah, Mohammed and Mallory all show up to help their friend.
Mallory is beginning to understand more the ramifications of being Harry’s friend. His need to request things of, not just her but their circle of friends is at times really draining. She loves him but sometimes he asks too much. Especially now that she knows how Noah is feeling towards her, she is very conscious about everyone’s feelings.
‘Why do I keep hesitating with Noah? He just told me he liked me. Is it because of Harry? Or am I just using Harry as an excuse?’
And oh yes….. there are further developments in the Noah & Mallory flirting thing they have going on. Now that she is no longer going out with Harry it has given Mallory time to think about Noah and explore what she feels for him. And OMG Noah has got game! We see the serious, intense Noah, flirty, cocky and cute Noah and super sexy seductive Noah. About. Freaking. Time!
‘I was what?’ Noah asks, his voice clear. His eyes search mine as his hands rest on top of my shoulders. ‘Consuming,’ I finally get out. Noah nods once but then grows serious. ‘You’re just now realizing this, aren’t you?’
I loved the bathtub kingdom scene, the conversation Mallory had with Helen in the kitchen, THAT poem and a scorching hot moment in the bathroom. I just need more more more… I have been highly anticipating this next instalment of London Prep and I loved where Jillian took this story. I felt like she wrote it just for me :) #TeamNoah
‘Because Noah is the water. He comes rushing into me, filling me whole and then some. Noah finds every crack and seeps in. He flows over everything that I am. He slips into me without any notice and makes me float.’
"There is so much peace when he kisses me. You'd think it would be the opposite."
AAAAAAAAAND WE ARE BACK TO LP MY FRIENDS.
Where hormones run rampant and feelings are complicated.
This series from book one was one I got quickly addicted to, giving me feelings similar to all those CW shows... you know the ones! Where they all look 25 but are actually 16.
Mal thinks she finally knows what she wants, but how will her and Noah ever work?
Wanting to feel "less 30"? Then this one is for you.
Still a teenager? Enjoy it kid...
As a member of #teamnoah , this book was everything I needed it to be. It even left me feeling extra weird about the butterflies in my stomach watching this cocky boy play soccer. (what's the opposite of daddy issues?)
Parties in hotels, stolen kisses, and a girl who is really just one of the guys... that's what I would call a great set up for a teen drama.
Dropped a 1/2 star: There were a few scenes that were a bit disconnected for me in terms of the maturity of the characters. Not enough to deter me but enough to mention.
Rating: story-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 characters-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (there are all for Noah) steam- there's a shower on so it's steamy.... buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut.......
Flirty, sexy Noah was EVERYTHING I've been hoping and wanting!! 😍 My #TeamNoah energy is even stronger after this one!! Here we are book 5 and dare I say I think it's my favorite (so far) in the series!!!!!
I absolutely loved this and couldn't stop reading. I devoured it in a day!! There were SO many good moments that had me swooning and blushing!
Fav moments include: •The sexy banter •all of the adorable, Noah moments •club dancing •cookie frosting 🙌 •note passing •THE POEM •another awesome angsty bathroom scene
It was so good!!!!! Love all these characters and these books and NOAH WILLIAMS!!! I still declare myself the co-captain of the Noah Williams fanclub! Also, yay for not having a super killer cliffhanger this time. THANK YOU JILLIAN! 👏
Now here are some gifs to demonstrate how I felt. 😂
Wow! What an emotionally charged book The Party was!! I’m still so very amazed by how Jillian Dodd knows how to grab you from the beginning of a book and doesn’t let you come up for air. I consumed this book in one single day. It was that good.
In this 5th book we find Noah unrelenting in his pursuit of a Mallory. And thank goodness for that. Their chemistry is simply unreal and soo very sweet. I really can’t believe we will be getting a Book 6 to be honest. I thought this was a conclusion to this story, but thankfully it is not and we get to experience more of the wonderful characters and settings that Jillian is taking us through.
I’m seriously addicted to these characters and can’t wait to read more on Mallory, Noah, Harry and Mohammed!
Are you team Noah or Team Harry? After reading The Party I’m simply onboard for Team Noah all the way.
If you love an angsty, coming of age YA story with fun characters mixed in with some complex issues and young love, this series will grab your attention. Soon you’ll be shouting Team Noah or Team Harry. Mallory is learning to navigate her feelings for two of her friends while not hurting anyone else or herself. Meanwhile Noah has stepped up his game and Harry has a ton going on as well. Thank goodness Mohammed is around to keep everyone grounded with his sound advice. WWMD? This book was entertaining, a little heartbreaking and exciting as well. A lot of advancement emotionally for the characters as well as myself...I got a little giddy too. Definitely ended on a smile and maybe a tiny bit of apprehension for the next book. I keep waiting for another shoe to drop.
I just want to thank Jillian Dodd for showing us some mercy with this one. My anxiety thanks you.
OKAY!! This is the book I have been waiting for!!! We get all the flirty Noah scenes that makes your heart stutter. If you’re not team Noah after this one then all hope is lost with you. I love Noah sooo much, always have, always will and this book gave me my Noah full. We get cute, flirty Noah. Smart and serious Noah. Sexy and seductive Noah. WE GET IT ALL. Even more bathroom scenes. (Insert seductive wink)
I can’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil it but my heart is content after a year of maddening cliff hangers and teasers that make you want to pull your hair out. But what you left us for the next book, I will have a bottle of wine ready. I see you Jillian 👀
Oh my gosh, incredible! At the end I found myself shaking my Kindle for more! I didn’t want the story to end! Jillian Dodd has done it once again! She is an amazing story teller. She takes you on a journey, painting you a picture of the story as you read along. You feel like you are right there in the story with the characters. Going on this exciting journey!
Mallory finds herself permanently staying in London (yay), which made me overjoyed as a huge fan of this series! She is navigating her relationship with Noah, Harry and Mohammed. Not only the relationship of the incredible friendships the four of them have, but the potential of something more with one of them. 😘🥳 Which is incredible to read and watch unfold.
This book cleared up so many questions I had from book four. I was so happy with the outcome and am loving where the story is going. I really am so excited for the next book and where the journey will take Mallory, Noah, Harry and Mohammed. This series is incredible. I have loved every moment with these characters. The good, the sad and the fun! I can’t wait for what is to come, this series throws in fun twists where you think it might go one way and it goes another. No matter the outcome though, I will always be #teamnoah and love to see where everyone stands in that sense, team Noah, team Harry, either is both fun and exciting to read. Another incredible read, Jillian Dodd, you are amazing.
Ohhhhh, the angst. And the drama! I love these kids. This story just brings me back to the days when you were experiencing first loves and crushes. I was very firmly #teamharry when this story began. I love how confident he is and take pity on him for his family circumstances that you really get a glimpse of in this part of the story. But, at this point, I think I am switching to #teamnoah. This is why I think this is such a great story. It keeps me on my toes and wanting more. I love all the friendships between the kids and how they all care about each other and want the best for everyone. They make mistakes but learn from them. And, it's just going to get so interesting when Mallory's parents get to town.
This series is so addictive. If you like drama and angst in a high school setting - this series is for you. The books must be read in order and it is sooo worth this. The Party was everything my #teamnoah heart could’ve possibly wanted.
I couldn't wait for this book to come out. It felt like it took forever.
This book just didn't do it for me. I love Jillian and this series, but this book fell short. It kinda had the same vibe as the Keatyn Chronicles and how Keatyn had to try out every boy before making a decision. Why oh why does Mallory drop everything for Harry!? It's extremely infuriating. How can you promise something to one and drop everything for the other? I hope things move in a different direction in book 6.

London Prep is my FAVORITE series and I love it even more with each re-read and each new book.
This is a dynamic series so if you haven't met Mal and the boys yet, start with The Exchange. NOTE: This review contains spoilers for other books in the series.
After Mallory realizes that she is staying in London, she has to repair her relationships with each of her three boys.
The Party picks up on the Thursday morning of Mal's fourth week in London (the day after her birthday) and finishes early afternoon on Saturday. It ends with more of a "To Be Continued..." vibe than the epic cliffhangers that the other books have. My heart is so full after finishing this book. Mal's story continues to unfold beautifully and I'm falling more and more in love with each of the main characters.
The Party was not quite as anxiety-inducing as The Key but still has all of the emotions we've come to expect from Mal, Harry, Noah, and Mohammad. I can't wait to see what happens at The Country House!
As a self-proclaimed member of the Noah Williams Fan Club, I am honored to have received an ARC copy of this book in return for an honest review.
I'm an audiobook lover and really enjoyed this series in audio. Moriah Martel is the perfect voice for Mallory.
"You always lose focus, watching me. You get lost." "I like getting lost in you," I whisper."
Okay Google, play Without Me By Eminem. ...Guess who's back? Back again.
As the president of the Noah Williams fan club, I can confirm....NOAH'S. BACK! Our little English rose. And readers will slide down on to the floor like jell-o.
There are so many good quotes in this book! London Prep readers are going eat up all the sweetness in book five. Consumed! Ecstatic or terrified? Heart pounding. Lots of chanting!
JD fans know she is the queen of the cliff (hanger); however, The Party will leave readers looking forward to LP 6 with minimal angst. I'm crossing my fingers for chocolate popcorn in book 6!

I love London Prep. I love Mallory & the boys. I love Noah. That being said I felt like book 5 was more of a build up to book 6. You know how in fantasy books the first book usually doesn’t have too much going on but it’s a lot of story & world building, well I felt like book 5 was like that, all leading up to book 6. It wasn’t really drama filled, super romance filled, or had a whole lot going on so I really feel like book 6 is going to blow my mind with all this lead up. I was kinda hoping there would be more Noah & Mallory time but it takes them 3/4 of the book to get their heads together. Kind of a bummer. BUT the book was obviously still amazing. Don’t not read it because of what I said because I wasn’t meaning it in a bad way. Its still a really good book! & you do get some angst from Noah & Mallory. As I said before I am 110% #teamnoah & always will be because Noah can do no wrong in my heart eyes!
I absolutely adore this series so far, and this book might just be my favourite one yet! The reason being, I love how in this book, things seemed like they were finally starting to fall into place! (At least things seem to be going in the direction I’d like them to go in, but I suppose that’s a personal preference 😉) Mallory is still a whirlwind of emotions, and it can be almost hard to keep up with all of her thoughts and emotions at times, but the drama was pretty minimal in this book (at least in my opinion). Everyone seems to be getting along nicely, and overall I just thought it was a really quick, fun, light read with lots of cute, awkward moments that had me smiling often! I’m a little nervous about what’s to come in the next book, as things could go either way, but I’m certainly excited to find out what will happen next at The Country House!

This was a fun 5th book in the London Prep series! This book answered questions, mended relationships, brought some HEAT, and left the reader excited and anxious for book #6! Halfway through the book, I was still mentally yelling at Mallory to go with her impulses and kiss the boy! I swear, she worries more about everything as a 17 year old than I ever have in my life! Lol. I’m #TeamNoah and overall I was very happy with the direction of this book. I’m a little concerned about Harry and his continued flirting with Mal. Didn’t he just experience the angst of the past two books? What is he doing?! This book certainly sets up book 6 to be STEAMY, and I cannot wait to read it!
Anyway, this is a fantastic installment. The vibes with our main quartet (Mallory, Noah, Harry, and Mohammad) are immaculate. I just love them. We also get to see more of Mia, Olivia, and Naomi here, which I was here for.
Being in Mallory’s head gives me anxiety sometimes but it’s because she’s like I am and overthinks EVERYTHING. But it also helps you see her character so clearly. Mallory is growing so much.
I cannot wait for the next book. I’m dying to see what happens next.
Finally, this is what I have been waiting for ... Noah and Mallory exploring their feeling and actually expressing them! If you are not team Noah after this book, you need your head checked. This book was amazing and so worth the wait. I couldn't put it down and devoured it. I was so happy and excited for Noah and Mallory. I was swooning over their newest of them. I feel so bad for Harry but he isn't right for Mallory. But that ending has me so worried about what is next. Mallory has to handle what happens next just right or everything will go up in flames and everyone will be heartbroken. I am scared but want book 6 like now!
I don’t know how Jillian does it, but she manages to write this series where at the end of each book you feel satisfied with the ending but also desperately wanting more.
We left off with Mallory’s birthday and her tense conversation with Noah. Now that Mallory is staying in London she has to figure out how to fix all the relationships that were left broken. Lucky for her, her friendship with Mohammed is still strong and he helps her mend all the broken pieces.
It is crazy how so much could happen in one book that took place over the span of THREE DAYS. But every moment of those 3 days is exciting and the conversations are meaningful. Everyone has a little bit of their own problems to deal with while also dealing with things together. Their bond as friends is so strong and they seem like such a fun group to hang out with. I enjoyed getting to know more of Mia.
Noah has always run hot and cold with how he expressed his feelings for Mallory. Most of that had to do with her relationship with Harry. This book we got to see much more of moody Noah as he deals with his emotions. Noah has a lot to work through before he can return to the flirty seductive Noah that he is around Mallory. I am always on edge waiting for something to happen between the two of them. Why do they have to be so angsty! Can’t wait to find out what is going to go down at the country house in the next book.
Mallory, Mallory, Mallory...... I just wanted to slap some sense into her! I couldn't believe what a chicken she was. All the back and forth. I couldn't deal with it anymore. But Mal finally got her head out of her ass and manned up! I was so excited when they finally kissed and talked things out. And Noah being all flirty and sexy....was the icing on the cake. I am a little nervous for the next book though, how will Harry take the news and what is really going to happen on this trip!

In this episode (I say "episode" because reading these books feels like you are sitting down and watching your favorite teenage sitcom), we finally get to see Harry's family dynamic at work. We also get to finally...finally...see an honest, no emotional game playing Noah. I'll be the first to admit, I'm a Team Harry girl (from day one), but I started to see the appeal of Noah in this book. It took 5 books, but I finally see why all those Team Noah lovers swoon when he comes around. While this book did have a major, significant event, it felt like one of the slower reads of the series. Still a great read, and you must read this one to move along with the story. Can't wait to see what develops at the country home in the next installment!
I’ve FLOWN through every book in this series so far. I honestly couldn’t stop. I found myself fully invested in these characters’ lives which I think speaks for Jillian Dodd’s excellent writing. I am not typically a fan of love triangles, and this book was the first one in which I found myself annoyed with the love triangle. I’m #teamNoah for certain, and the teaser chapter of the next book has me counting down until April!!
This book was full of angst, flirting, romance and drama. Mallory must make a decision on who she wants to explore a relationship with and decide if she is ready for that relationship. This book was amazing and it gave a lot of answers as to what Mallory‘s new life in London might look like. Stay tuned for book six “The Country House”
The storyline is so addicting. I adore the characters and their friendships. I love this series so much. I can't decide if I like this series or that boy more. I think that boy by a smidge. Can't wait for the next one. 🥰
Thank you Jillian for another great book in the series. Mallory, Noah, Harry and Muhammad are so great together especially when they are enjoying their time together. She is now in the hotel awaiting her parents arrival and enjoying the time with friends before more change awaits her. A lot has changed now that Mallory is staying, emotions and her perspective of how each of her relationships are with the guys are and how they are affecting her life. I wanted to scream though so many times, as well as smack Mallory because that girl overthinks way to much. Noah, though I love the boy, is so damn confusing sometimes. I’m happy that they are finally revealing to each other their true feelings but sadly at the expense of my sanity. As I said before, the thought process and emotions of a teenager is so conflicting and confusing. Nonetheless, I candy wait for the next book.
