A fun story that my kids really loved, even those this level 1 reading book has that annoying habit of doing the picture words. I think when kids learn to read this only hinders them and makes it too easy for them to not try and sound out words, but that's just me. But the fact that the story is a good one and it's the Backyardigans, who we love, makes this something we'll keep in our collection.
