I checked this out from the library thinking it was a romance but it's not. It's the second book of a trilogy about a serial killer. You don't find out the bad guy in the book. He doesn't get caught etc. I totally was not expecting that. The heroine has a relationship with a much younger man that you expect to have a HEA but it doesn't. They go their separate ways with him saying maybe I'll look you up sometime. There were really two suspense plots going on. One was the serial killer who was targeting Jillian the heroine while still managing to kill several other women. She has martial arts training that you expect to come into play when the killer tries to catch her. But instead, her ex husband comes out of nowhere to try to kill her, the bad guys gives up on her and moves on to another victim and the hero goes back to school. I'm not even sure you could call him a hero. It seemed like he was going to be but in the end he neither helps her with the killer or the evil ex. That being said I did love the character of Ty who was a 23 year old surfer/ lifeguard who spends the summer making out with Jillian and helping her find out who she is. I liked it right up until I turned that last page and found out that not only is there no HEA, but there is no resolution to the serial killer plot.

4 stars for the story/ 1 star for the ending results in 2 stars total

I wish I had known this was the second book in this series before I started reading it. :( Nonetheless, I very much enjoyed it. This was my first experience with this author, and now I am very anxious to read the next book in this series! Certainly keeps one interested, I thought, and on edge until the end... especially since the killer isn't found yet! This is a new twist in a mystery / thriller.

An amnesiac searching for her identity, a serial killer on the loose, and a town full of suspects. By the end of the book, one mystery has been solved, but the identity of the murderer is still unknown. Tense and a bit creepy. I received a copy of this book from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.

Sometimes I find gems like this one on my bookshelf, books I picked up at a sale and then forgot about only to stumble along them later and discover just how good it is. There was so much to appreciate about this story and now I’m on a mission to find the other books involving the Bloodsucker since I know the story isn’t done yet!

I enjoyed this story. The main characters are very typical - an amnesiac 30-something adult and a college student. The author keeps you guessing as to who is the killer. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

This book is the second in the series so to understand some of the details you need to read the first book. Really enjoyed the plot twists with strong characters.” I received a copy of this book from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review."

Great characters and storyline. So many suspects! Make sure to read book #1, She’ll Never Tell, of the trilogy first. She’ll Never Know would stand alone, but most character development happens in book #1. I am eager to start book #3, She’ll Never Live, to find out who did it!

This is a little known author who writes very suspenseful and dark romance novels. This is book 2 in the series though on some screens on Goodreads you can't tell it's a series book.

After a darn near fatal gunshot wound, Jillian Deere has amnesia and remembers absolutely nothing about her life. Driving up the coast she settles in Albany Beach, Delaware because it feels familiar. Unfortunately blond and blue eyed Jillian has walked right into the path of a serial killer who really likes her type.

I read this without realizing it was part of a series so it was much more suspenseful to me since I expected the cops to find the killer before he struck Jillian so I kept waiting and waiting and waiting. See suspenseful. I was rather disappointed when I got to the end since I can't read the conclusion any time soon. Darn.

Anyway, I really liked Ty Addison and thought the relationship between him and Jillian felt real if temporary. I also liked Claire and though I can't continue the series soon, I will get back to it and find out how she catches the villain...and just who the heck he is though I have my suspicions.
