Alison Stone

Alison Stone writes sweet romance, cozy mysteries, and inspirational romantic suspense, some of which contain bonnets and buggies.

Alison often refers to herself as the "accidental Amish author." She decided to try her hand at the genre after an editor put a call out for more Amish romantic suspense. Intrigued—and who doesn't love the movie Witness with Harrison Ford?—Alison dug into research, including visits to the Amish communities in Western New York where she lives. This sparked numerous story ideas, the first leading to her debut novel with Harlequin Love Inspired Suspense. Four subsequent Love Inspired Suspense titles went on to earn RT magazine's TOP PICK! designation, their highest ranking.

When Alison’s not plotting ways to bring mayhem to Amish communities, she’s writing inspirational romantic suspense with a more modern setting, sweet romances, and cozy mysteries, including her new Murphy's Dance Academy series. In order to meet her deadlines, she has to block the internet and hide her smartphone.

Married and the mother of four (almost) grown kids, Alison lives in the suburbs of Buffalo where the summers are gorgeous and the winters are perfect for curling up with a book—or writing one.

not a bad story line

Simplistic writing, Sometimes names the wrong person ina. sentemce and the reader had to rec0nstruct the senteence, which interrupts the flow.
Story revolves arpuund a missing man who was apparently involved in shady dealings. When he doesn't return, his wife, who had left the Amish for him, has no recourse but to return to her home and ask forgiveness.
Over time, with her brother-in-law digging through the cabin, he discovers his little brother was in deep, putting his sister-in-law in more danger than she could imagine. His sister-in-law is also pregnant, something she didn't know til after her husband was gone. This immediately makes her pregnancy suspect to the Amish church. When her brother-in-law comes by jeer Amish home, telling of increased danger, she. f8nally leaves woth the brother-in-law to keep her parents and siblings safe.
Will the bad guys win this, or will the good guys? Read and see what happens.next.

Plain Inferno is not only a suspense story but a romantic one as well. This story is written by Alison Stone in her Hunters Ridge series. This story continues with the fallout from the preppers story in the previous book. With all the members were thought to have been rounded up it seems as though there were a few missed and are now out for revenge and missing drugs and money. There is also a second mystery as to all the barns being burnt down by an arsonist. When they catch a break in this case it will shock you as to the person behind it. This story has amazing characters, suspense, romance, and forgiveness. I absolutely loved the conclusion and the cliffhanger into the next story.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable response and all opinions are my own. I have rated this story with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others.

hunter ridge suspense continues

For a small Amish town the suspense continues. How people can start a business that is not doing legal things can cause more suspense when you thought it was all over. Wow these honestly are worth reading. One book is like a continuation from the last one. I highly recommend reading.
You will feel like you are living in Hunters Ridge living the suspense you are reading.

???

What happened to Sawyer and Tessa? Awkward ending and beginning a random story. Was the baby a boy or a girl?
