Sliema Wives - THE NEW BREED

Rate this book
Sliema’s elite are in for a shocking realisation: A killer is amongst them…

They are ambitious and capricious … beautiful and privileged…
They have toxic relationships, run naked on treadmills, and bleach their dogs.
Meet the new Sliema Wives:

Julia Borg Olivier - After her husband’s brutal death, this former Beauty Queen, with a surname matching-up like a perfect couture outfit, is about to discover that her inheritance from her husband’s last will is not what she had been counting on…

Giselle De Giorgio - She’s got superior genes, class and cleavage … and a clandestine affair with her brother-in-law. And somebody has just found out… ooouch!

Victoria Laferla - The sophisticated wife of ruthless politician Troy Laferla, tipped to become Malta’s next Prime Minister. They have perfect smiles to complement a seemingly perfect marriage. However, behind closed doors, the unimaginable bubbles to the surface.

They will give you drama (100%), sex (of course), gossip (OMG!), entertainment (you bet), murder (that too) … and loads and loads of pathos!

The story’s where interesting. I loved the plot twist at the end the reason for giving it 3 star was because sometime I found the story dragging they where too much details and explanations that couldn’t been avoided. But at the end of the day I really enjoyed it and will definitely suggest it to other people. I can’t wait to read another book by the same author.
